Fractured Things: A Dark High School Romance (Folkestone Sins Book 2) Kindle Edition
In Folkestone, nothing stays buried forever...
Poe Halliday could have been my everything, the one who taught me to dream again.
But a dark truth spit from cruel and twisted lips threatened to poison everything. And the dream was over as quickly as it began.
My beginning was stained by the ashy fingerprints of my mother’s inner demons. And now they're mine. But whatever evil lurks here, I refuse to let it win.
Stella Bradleigh shone like the brightest star, keeping my shadows at bay with only her smile.
I’ve been living with the devil incarnate. The architect of a horrific scheme kept secret for too long. A secret that made the girl I love run.
The darkness here is no match for the rage I harbor. The only way I can protect her is to tell her the truth, From the day she arrived, I knew my heart belonged with hers. And now she'll never forgive me.
Fractured Things is book two in the Folkestone Sins series. It is an emotional New Adult academy senior year romance series fueled by secrets, lies, and the powerful families who rule it all.

- Reviewed in Canada on June 25, 2021Verified PurchaseAll this series has done is allowed me to stay up past my bedtime! I have been hooked from the start of this series and book 2 only solidified why. Poe and Stella are just perfect! Folkestone is a town that is full of secrets so when Stella comes to town you know that there will be some drama! Truths come to light and because of that Stella is forced to come to terms with her past and her ties to this small town. What she realizes is that family is more than just biology but friends that will have her back no matter what- they give her that sense of belonging that she so desperately craves and as a result she finds what she has always wanted -a home. Thank you Samantha for creating a world you can get easily lost in. Great job!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Need the next book, NOW!
Verified PurchaseWow, the hits and twists just keep coming.
Stella is such a feisty and fierce character, I love her resilience, her loyalty and her heart. She is such a boss - I want to be her when I grow up.
Despite his mistakes, I dig Poe. He is totally perfect for her.
I enjoyed the roller coaster ride that this story was. Sadness, anger, happiness, grief and forgiveness were just some of the emotions touched on in this book. It was INTENSE!
I have SO MANY questions...
But the most important ones are:
Do Poe and Stella get a HEA?
Are Sunday and Payne finally going to give up the game and get together?
And...
What the? THAT ending threw me completely
I am dying to get my hands on the next book!

4.0 out of 5 stars Twisted
Verified Purchase“For better or worse, Folkestone is where you belong.”
Fractured Things is the second, explosive book in the Folkestone Sins series. Revelations are exposed and more puzzles than ever are left in chaos. Picking up two weeks following the events in Fragile Things, readers follow Poe, who is angry and heartbroken, and Stella — whose mind is in a state of utter devastation.
I enjoyed this angstier book even more than the first one. The heirs are like a coven and their role in Folkestone is still left vague. In fact, most things are left shady and more suspicious than when we started. I kept telling myself while reading, ‘there is more to this story’. Be prepared for the fun and haunting twists and turns Fractured Things will take you on.
Poe and Stella’s relationship deepens and they have a major hurtle to overcome. I don’t approve of the way Poe handles situations he feels out of control in, but I hope he grows with some maturity. Overall, I love Stella and Poe together and I like how things ended between them.
The ending is completely shocking and I did not see it coming. The next book will be Sunday and Payne’s and I am so ready! I love those two already and after that ending, Sunday is going to have quite a bit to deal with in book 3.

5.0 out of 5 stars Callum evil man deserved to die
Verified PurchaseFinally Stella and Poe have their problems worked out. We all need a best friend like Sunday! Even like Payne! The friendships forged between the heirs are to be envied. This is an angst filled book that will keep you on the edge of your seat with lots of twists and turns. The heirs friendships are genuine and deep and you will care about each of them. Love Stella and Poe! A must read book and series.
