Arrogant Savior is an absolute Gem and another addition to the King family. Terri E. Laine never disappoints, and I always jump aboard when I see a new release. This gem is fast-paced, action-packed, steamy, and pulls you in from the beginning.
Jolene and Grant first meet each other when Jolene's father charters a private jet to fly her to New York to visit her sick grandmother. Grant is the pilot of the plane and assumes from first appearances that Jolene is a spoiled rich kid. Jolene, who does not hold back her tongue, gives it right back to him and puts him in his place. Right there is where all the magical fun begins. At times I thought they were going to kill each other or rip their clothes off.
After a series of events, Jolene ends up in New York. They both try and push their thoughts of each other out of their heads. But once Jolene arrives at her job as an air flight attendant. She discovers that Grant is the co-pilot with her Ex, who is the pilot of the same flight as hers. I don't want to give any spoilers. So I am going to stop there.
Arrogant Savior is a wild, crazy ride. Such a fun read. The sexual chemistry between the two is as hot as hell. I am completely satisfied and hope to see the two in the next King book.

Arrogant Savior was everything I look for in an enemies to lovers trope. These characters were nicely developed and the story was well-written with an interesting plot and feel-good romance. The banter between Grant and Jolene are funny, if not sexy. The pacing moves quickly as the characters fall in love subtly yet completely over the course of the story.
This is my first Cocky Hero Club book and Ms. Laine didn't disappoint. Her style of writing was easy to follow with humor, sexy times, and some ups and downs in the main character's experience. I absolutely loved this book. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants romance and a happy ending.

It says in the blurb that this story was "inspired" by the Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward's book, Playboy Pilot BUT to me, it seemed like a "bad, sloopy seconds" of it... :/
And the dialogues....it's way too "off" for me...and awkward and I'm just not in there...

Wow! What did I just read? I had never heard of this author until I started reading books in the Cocky Hero Club and now I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to check out Ms. Laine's other books. Grant and Jolene's story is off the charts. I really enjoyed it and couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Misunderstandings, drama and some mystery just add to the story. This is one of the best ones I've read so far and I'm going to highly recommend it!!

When the pilot of her flight assumes she's a spoiled rich girl, Jolene's less than impressed with his rudeness. But when the two are forced into spending the night in the same room after a storm strands them, will they kill each other because of their first impressions or give into their obvious attraction?
They don't expect to see each other again but when they end up working for the same airline, that attraction? Yeah, it can't be denied. But these two have a lot of demons that need to be worked through, they need to work on their communication skills, and it won't be easy if they want to keep a relationship going.
I loved Jolene and Grant together. The way they snarked at each other was entertaining and fun, and was obviously just hiding a deep attraction at first. I like how their feelings grew and deepened, but sometimes I despaired they'd ever get their communication down right. Thank God they did and I got to read as they made it to their happy ever after. I've read a lot of the Cocky Hero Club stories, liked some, didn't like others, but this one I love. It's an excellent addition to Vi and Penelope's world of cocky heroes.

Arrogant Savior is a fast-paced, sexy and highly entertaining standalone novel by Terri E. Laine set in Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward's Cocky Hero Club. The main protagonists of Arrogant Savior are Jolene Jameson, a flight attendant who we've been introduced to in Playboy Pilot, and the mysterious Grant King from Terri's epic and unputdownable All The King's Sons series. The enemies to lovers trope is one of my favorites. When done right, like in this case, it's guaranteed to give us some steamy scenes, constant push and pull and flirty banter. Terri's writing was beautiful as always. I only wished that this book was a little bit longer and that there was more time for some details.
Grant King takes on a last gig as a pilot for his father's private charter company in order to fly a customer to New York. When a stunning, blonde bombshell boarders his plane he is immediately irritated by her looks assuming that she must be a spoiled, rich princess. Grant can't but act like a complete douche making inappropriate, rude comments that make her feel uncomfortable. When Jolene decided on a last minute trip to visit her grandmother she didn't expect to run into an obnoxious but insanely hot pilot who is going to push her buttons and make her want to throttle him. Her flight turns into her worst nightmare when bad weather forces them to land in a small town she's never even heard of. When these two adversaries are suddenly put in close quarters and forced to spend time together they are going to realise that they have a lot in common and that their chemistry is undeniable. After parting ways they never expected to see each other again until fate brings them together once more.
I've absolutely adored Grant King. He's such an intense, multi-layered and charming hero. I loved how fiercely protective he was of his dad. Grant's previous experiences in life have made him wary of love and commitment. It was beautiful to see him opening up to Jolene and confiding in her. Jolene Jameson is a feisty, good-hearted and compassionate woman - the complete opposite of a gold digger. She's been disappointed and hurt in the past which makes her reluctant to put her heart out there again. What I liked about her and Grant's relationship was that there wasn't only combustible sexual attraction between them but also a deep emotional bond. They truly got each other in ways other people couldn't.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this story and highly recommend it. If you're a fan of Terri's wonderful writing than you need to pick up this book asap! I hope to see more of Grant and Jolene in the next highly anticipated All the King's Sons installment.

Arrogant Savior is a steamy, fast paced and highly entertaining enemies to lovers novel set in Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s new Cocky Hero Club World. It features the gorgeous and irresistible pilot Grant King (who's related to Kalen and Connor King from Terri E Laine's utterly addictive All The King's Sons series) who meets sweet and sassy flight attendant Jolene (from Playboy Pilot) on a turbulent flight to New York. To say that they have a rocky start would be a total understatement. They literally hate each other right from the beginning. Grant believes that Jolene is a spoiled rich princess, while she thinks that he's an arrogant jerk. But the more they're forced to spend time together in close proximity in a rustic cabin in the woods, the more they will realize that they were totally wrong. As fate keeps bringing them back into each other's lives, they are forced to acknowledge that they're not over yet. As they willingly open up to each other, they will soon discover that they have far more in common then they could have ever dreamed of.
Grant King was a delicious, sexy alpha hero with a good heart. He might appear a little arrogant and cocky on the outside, but deep down he was anything but. His caring and protective side made me swoon hard. I fell so easily in love with him, just like I did with Kalen and Connor. What can I say? Terri E Laine's King men are my biggest vice and I'm not ashamed to admit that!!!
I adored Jolene Jameson. She was a very sweet and kindhearted person, who was longing all of her life to belong to someone. She's build up huge walls around her heart and didn't let people in easily. Thank God Grant was a very persistent man and never gave up until he smashed these walls to dust! They had crazy chemistry and were simply made for each other!
I'm seriously impressed how this incredibly talented author merged these two amazing worlds together and gave us a great story full of action and unexpected twists and turns. Especially the epilogue was so beautifully written it brought tears to my eyes! My only complaint about Arrogant Savior is that I wished it was a little longer, because I desperately wanted to spend more time with Grant and Jolene.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone and can't wait to read more about a certain member of the King family, who will hopefully get his own story soon! 4 stars

Absolutely loved Grant and Jolene's story. Grant had the wrong impression of Jolene from the very beginning. He made assumptions about her and her life causing her to view him in an unflattering light.
These two had that intense chemistry and connection from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to see how these two were going to sort their lives out. My heart hurt for Jolene and the situation she had with her family. She just longed to be a part of something. She kept her walls up for a while regarding Grant. She was so scared to fully let him in.
Grant had been burned years ago by his ex and he vowed to never let that happen again. So he always kept his interactions with women just on a physical level. Until Jolene comes barreling into his life and he wasn't able to stop the feelings from surfacing.
While these two had a few obstacles to overcome, they were able to with very little added drama which was great. This was a fantastic love story. This was the first book by Ms. Laine but I definitely want to check out a few of her books based on characters that appeared in this one.

What a fantastic addition to the Cocky Hero Club .......
This is Grant and Jolene’s story and boy do they have a tale to tell, it’s a book full of misunderstandings and miss communications and you will certainly understand the saying “don’t jump to conclusions “ by the end of this great read.
Grant is hired to fly Jolene to New York but a storm comes in and forces them to spend time together while waiting for it to pass. He believes she is a rich bitch who is used to getting what she wants and she sees him as an arrogant know it all but the one thing they have in common is they have both been hurt and they both have built walls around themselves to protect their feelings and their heart. So will the storm drive this couple further apart or will the time spent together chip away the walls ......
This book ticked all my boxes, I loved the banter, I fell hard and fast for Grant even when is was behaving like a cocky hero, the chemistry is sizzling and their story is captivating. Looking forward to reading more from the talented Terri E Laine as soon as time permits.

Arrogant Savior is a perfect mix of two worlds and a story that has you hanging onto every word. Two people that judge on appearances before knowing the truth try to build walls against a chemistry that is unmistakable. Grant and Jolene have more in common than they ever thought if only they could get past their prior hurt. Their story is enchanting, relatable, steamy and passionate. A captivating read that will leave you flying high.

Who doesn’t love a sexy, cocky pilot with a chip on his shoulder? Grant certainly put the A in Arrogant, jumping to conclusions and judging, sweet, lovely Jolene because he perceived her to be something she wasn’t. They definitely did get off on the wrong footing, but it was funny watching them both grapple to hide their desire, which was a very real thing. Stranded in Grant’s cabin in the mountains was one way to get to know each other, not once but twice. A fun, oh so sexy happy go lucky enemies to lovers read with two completely stubborn lead characters that truly do deserve a happy ever after. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

What was not to love about these two?! When they first met they both assumed things about each other without even asking. They despised each other without even knowing each other but were also attracted to each other. Every guy was attracted to Jolene and every woman was attracted to Grant. They did have some things in common that was discovered when they were civil to each other. But as time passed Grant couldn’t take it anymore and pursued what he wanted, her. She was a bit hesitant but gave in even though they were times that she still overthought things. There was a slight bump but they made it thru and with a beautiful surprise. It was beautiful to see how they both came full circle with certain issues in their family. I really would love to see more of them.

Grant pilots for his dad’s air charter service, while waiting for his job to begin, where he will be flying commercial jets. He meets Jolene during his final charter flight, and automatically assumes she’s a privileged rich girl, and calls her ‘princess.’ Jolene does have a wealthy father, but he never married her mother, and she’s been treated like a pariah by the rest of his family ever since. His mother, Jolene’s grandmother, is the only person who has consistently showered her with unconditional love. While Grant is the nephew of a wealthy New Yorker, his own father rejected that life by choosing his occupational happiness and love instead, while his own mother left Grant and his dad to follow the path of wealth. There have been many tough life lessons for both Grant and Jolene, so they have erected walls to protect their hearts. They also make assumptions about the other multiple times during the course of this book.
Grant is annoying at first. Yes, he’s been abandoned and hurt, but he behaves like a jerk. It is hard to like him. Jolene doesn’t feel the need to justify her existence, so she lets Grant’s assumptions stand. The lack of real communication is annoying initially, but it does get better as the story progresses. The story builds slowly, and eventually takes off and becomes something difficult to put down. These two finally figure things out, but not without a few misunderstandings first. There are at least two and possibly several more other stories from this author that interact with this book. It’s fun to see how this Cocky Hero Club world intersects with the various worlds created by other authors!

5 Star Review Arrogant Savior (Cocky Hero Club) by Terri E Laine
Another great addition to the Cocky Hero Club based in Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s Cocky Hero Club World. One of the things I have liked is discovering new authors such as Terri E Laine. This is pilot Grant and Jolene’s story and if this is anything to go by I have been missing out. I need to check out her other books as soon as time permits.
Arrogant Savior was an entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me. The chemistry between them was scorching and you could feel the sparks fly as they tried to avoid crossing the line. This book is full of misunderstanding, miss communication and is a lesson in learning not to jump to conclusions.
Both Grant and Jolene have been hurt in the past by those that should have loved and protected them so they have walls built to protect their hearts. This was a slow build but once it got going it was intense. The banter between them was witty and entertaining.

This is pilot Grant and Jolene’s story and if this is anything to go by I have been missing out. I need to check out her other books as soon as time permits.
Arrogant Savior was an entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me. The chemistry between them was scorching and you could feel the sparks fly as they tried to avoid crossing the line. This book is full of misunderstanding, miss communication and is a lesson in learning not to jump to conclusions.
Both Grant and Jolene have been hurt in the past by those that should have loved and protected them so they have walls built to protect their hearts. This was a slow build but once it got going it was intense. The banter between them was witty and entertaining.

GAH! I was so excited for this author to give us this book and to have it in the Cockyverse, just PERFECTION! Laine gives us an emotional and raw story between two people who have been burned in the past, being the “black sheep” of the family and so much more! The banter between Jolene and Grant is beyond intense. I was dying to know Grant more and trust me, you will not be disappointed. My heart ached for both of these two with everything they had gone through with their families. It is so heartbreaking!
What I loved about these two is that intense need to bait each other and push each other’s buttons. It was a complete love to hate and hate to love relationship between these two but once those walls were down, it was brilliant. I also adored that the author added a touch of what is going on in the real world right now. It made the story that much more real and intense. I could not love this story enough!

Arrogant Savior by Terri E. Laine is part of the Cocky Hero Club world and intertwines with the author’s King Family books, the King Maker series and Kingdom Come and Kingdom Fall, however, can be read as a standalone. It was steamy, emotional and had a bit of angst. Grant, a cocky and arrogant pilot that can also be sweet and caring. And Jolene, who is strong and determined, but also a bit vulnerable. She has never truly felt loved by anyone except her grandmother. Both characters have not had the best of luck with love in the past and that has soured them for any romance in the future.
When they meet, they definitely do not like each other as both make assumptions about the other. But as they are forced to spend time together, the barriers around their hearts begin to come down. Their chemistry was undeniable and they come to find they have much in common. I loved watching them fall and struggle to come terms with their feelings.

Wow! This book is so freaking good!
I have literally not put it down since I read the first the chapter, adulting completely stopped for a few hours because I couldn’t stop reading.
Jolene and Grant’s story is fantastic. They get off to a rocky start with misjudged first impressions but the chemistry between them can’t be denied. An ill timed storm forces them together longer than they would like but sparks soon start flying.
The story is brilliant, the characters are easy to connect with. Grant is cocky but also sweet and sexy AF! Jolene is feisty and definitely keeps him on his toes. The sex scenes are smoking hot and the chemistry is sizzling!
I think what also made this story way more real was the references to the virus, it actually just made the story more relatable.
Well done Terri, I loved this story! Definitely a new favourite of mine from the cocky hero series.

Another King and he's just as sexy and exciting as Kalen (King Maker Series) and Connor (Kingdom Come Duet). Arrogant Savior is a standalone in the Cocky Hero Club, but if you are new to Terri's writing you will want to meet these other Kings!!!
What starts as an emergency charter flight to NY to see her sick Gran ends up to be so much more for Jolene. Grant King, the pilot is rude and thinks he knows Jolene "Highness", but he could not be more wrong. I loved their story! From the lessons they learn along the way, secrets shared, pasts that hold them back, misunderstandings, smoldering chemistry, banter, surprises and twists, I could not read fast enough. Terri never ever disappoints with her stories. They grab me from the start and I can't stop reading. I'm glad to know there is at least one more King to look forward to and now I'm hoping there will be more after reading this book!

This was my first book by Laine and I am hooked. So excited to check out some of her other books. Loved Jolene and Grant as well as his Dad. Fun to get a little time with Tripp too. Laine gives us fun banter with plenty of steaminess. Grant and Jo both have childhoods that left them not trusting love. This story is a fantastic addition to the “Cocky Hero Club” stories and is Grant and Jolene’s story. Grant and Jolene meet when it is his last day as a charter pilot, and they do not get off to the best of starts as he judges her as a privileged little rich girl, while she thinks he is a jerk and arrogant and they dislike each other on sight. When Jolene who is a flight attendant, meets the new pilot for commercial flights, she comes face to face with Grant again. This is a well written story which has a tad angst, and is filled with drama, misunderstandings, mystery, and undeniable chemistry. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all.

Feeling somewhat torn that Jolene was looking for love in another story in the Hero Club world, I almost didn’t want to read it. BUT... Ms Laine did an amazing job of weaving a tale of broken hearts and lost opportunities with Jolene and Grant. He was an arrogant SOB; she was a spoiled princess or mistress. Grant wasn’t quite sure since no one knew Jolene was the illegitimate daughter of the airlines’ owner. Aside from all that, the feistiness and banter between Grant and Jolene was hot and kept me reading. Ms. Laine’s words hooked me right in and kept me there to the very end.

There hasn't been a book by Terri that I haven't enjoyed, and Arrogant Savior is no exception to the rule.
Grant and Jolene make assumptions about each other right off the bat, but as you read through the novel, you will see these two come to realize that assumptions are falsehoods and that reality will always be right in front of your eyes.
The desire these two characters had for each other was off the charts, and the story proved to be entertaining and a page-turner for me. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and thought it was a great addition to the Cocky World Series!

Oh, this was fun to read. I hadn't read any of this author's previous books so I was going in blind as to who Grant was but what a pleasant surprise. The chemistry between him and Jolene is explosive and I loved the banter and back and forth. At some points I didn't know if they were going to throttle each other, or jump into bed. The tension was amazing. There are some other events and crazy things that happen to make it even better that had me unable to put this down until the end. Now I have to go pick up the other books by this author.

What a fun RomCom this was. Ms. Laine gave us a very well written storyline with characters I could easily relate with. Both are down to earth with past experiences that causes them to hold back when it comes to relationships. Both had very good reasons to stay away from each other but fate, a snowstorm and lots of gossip has other plans for them.
Thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the Cocky Hero Club series and I highly recommend grabbing it up. You won’t regret it.

This is another new author for me to read something by and I definitely wasn't disappointed!! Reading different books from the Cocky Hero Club has given me the chance to find and read new authors and add more books to my TBR list! Grant and Jolene's story was amazing!!! I literally couldn't put it down once I started to read it. Like every good book you got your twists and turns and drama to keep you sucked into it. I highly recommend reading this book!
