Ceifador X: The Tenth Grim Reaper (The Knight's Rose Prequel Novella) (Prison Saints Book 2) Kindle Edition
He's the mafia's deadliest weapon.
She's the kingpin's secret daughter.
Just as the Earth was round, I, Bianca Di Vaio, have always been sick. I'd spent most of my life confined in my room, unknown to the world, and off-limits to all the men who worked for my father, the Madman of Manhattan.
Destined to die an early death, I yearned for all the things that were just out of my reach--namely, someone to love me and look past my illnesses.
Then, one night, I heard his voice.
Antonio Castillo talked like desire but looked like death; dressed in all black and wearing a metal skull for a face, he was the stuff of nightmares. My father's favorite tormentor, who earned the name Grim Reaper.
And he was coming for me.
Ceifador X is a novella that ends with a cliff-hanger and will continue in The Knight's Rose. *Ceifador X MUST be read beforehand* This book contains graphic and taboo material between an older man and a younger girl that might be offensive for some.

"This book captivated me from the start and I simply couldn't put it down. I found so much darkness in the book but I feel the author balanced it out perfectly with light and hope." - Anita, Goodreads Reviewer
"Bianca and Antonio pull at my heart strings. They have so much to overcome and battle. Their story is not for the faint of heart. It is one that kept me on the edge of my seat. A dark tale." - Michele, Goodreads Reviewer
"The secrets and drama left me wanting to read more!" - Aleia, Goodreads Reviewer
"Antonio and Bianca are complete opposites. He is dark, she is light. He is hard, she is soft. He is sinful and she is innocent. They are so, so wrong for each other. But, so right. There is nothing that I enjoy more than a book that makes my heart race." - Sara, Curvy Constellation Blog

- Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2019Part of the Prison Saints series. While book one, The Jack's Heart can be read as a standalone, Ceifador X is the stunning prequel to The Knight's Rose, and you must read them together. I adored book one , and have been looking forward to this story, knowing that Antonio had a small, mysterious appearance. The prequel introduces us to sickly Bianca, and her sheltered, isolated world, from childhood to young adulthood. She's got precious little to look forward to, and the illicit visits from the much older Antonio top her list. It's kind of sad and hopeful at the same time. Bianca is quite out there and you watch her grow up but Antonio is an adult from the start, and there are things about him that have yet to be revealed. Given Bianca's isolation, Antonio shares things about himself & his family that he has never shared with another; could this be his undoing? The story ends on a mild cliffhanger-it makes me want-y for the next part of their story.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2019Bianca is a young teen who has been hidden away from the world by her father. She’s ill and has been kept a secret from the dangerous men that work for her father. Late one night her voice is heard by a deadly man who works for her father.
Antonio is drunk and wandering around the mansion is places he doesn’t belong. He hears the voice of a young girl hollering behind a closed door. Little does he know that this young girl could be the end of him if her father ever discovers his interactions with her. The problem is that Antonio cannot turn his back on her or tell her no after that first time he meets her.
This is the prequel to the Knight’s Rose. I really liked this book. Antonio is a man who can’t seem to turn his back on Bianca, he has an interesting past and he’s a very deadly man. Bianca’s future doesn’t look promising. She’s innocent, inquisitive, and a pain in the rear, just like most teens can be. The end of the story left me saying “what????”. I really need the first book now to see what is going on. I give this story a 4-star review and can’t wait for the next book.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2019I finally get to read Antonio story I have been waiting for him since he was mention in Prison Promise. Although this is just the prequel of his story I know that his full story would be so interesting from just this little tease I had of him.I can't wait to see what he will do what's his full potential would be.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2019I have so many questions!! Bianca’s character REALLY interesting to me! I will finish reading this series to know what her who story is! I was a little bored with Antonio’s depth, he was like every other guy I’ve read BUT, this grim reaper persona was very clever! This is my first time reading Demi Vice and I will certainly continue to read more. I’m intrigued.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2019This prequel was good and bad to read. Mostly good, it is a dark, sad love story, all wrong but right for each other, how can't Bianca not fall in love at such a young age, with someone forbidden, if she has not seen another person in forever. Neo, is so broken but loved him too.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2019Well that was kinda weird. It was hard to get past the whole she’s 14 and he’s 28 thing (both having their bday coming up soon). Even when Bianca just turned 15 and him 29 still made it creepy. I maybe would’ve been a little more receptive if they didn’t get physical. Also Antonio’s and Lorenzo’s relationship is weird. It seems at times like they could’ve crossed the line and had their own physical relationship in past or present. I REALLY enjoyed Demi Vice book Prison Promise (before it was renamed) and was thrown off by this one. I’ve read a lot of other books where the main characters met when the girl was a kid and him a grown man. However, it was never pedophilia. I don’t know if I’ll read the next book.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2019Ceifador X by Demi Vice is the Prequel to The Knight's Rose and is a part of the Prison Saints Series.
Bianca has been isolated due to her father's orders because she was a sickly child and know a young women. Only having a nanny to look after her and the nanny isn't a nice person. Bianca's father is a kingpin of Manhattan, so things are not good there. So when she starts getting visits from Antonio a older man who lives in the house that we learn is a hired killer of her dads...it becomes the highlight of her sad life.
This book does end with us needing the next installment in this series.
