Cocky and self-assured, I’m confident when it comes to my skills both on stage and in the bedroom. Everything in my life is perfect, even if I am the last single man standing in our famed rock band.

But it wasn’t always this way.

Jayla knew me before I hit it big. Back when I was a skinny teen, chasing dreams without a penny to my name. Now she’s back in my life and so much more than the girl I remember. Fiercely loyal. Beautiful and badass. She walked out of my life before, and I won’t let that happen again.

They say some songs are better on the second take, and if there’s one thing I know for sure, this is our time for a replay.

REPLAY is the final book in the Off Track Records novels, but can also be read as a standalone.

Austin and Jayla's story is so freaking wonderful!! I Love this book so much! You guys Kacey writes such amazing emotional and sexy romances. This story was SO GOOD!! Second chance romances are in my top 3 favorite tropes and this one was so special and different. I love Austin and Jayla. I love their chemistry and their connection. The way they go together is so amazing! Jayla is such a strong women. I love the fact that she is protecting them. Austin is so special. I love him so much! He is the sexy goofball with such a good heart!! Seeing him so happy with Jayla was everything. He did whatever he could to prove to Jayla that he is worth it! I read this one a little bit ago and am catching up with my reviews. If you haven't grabbed this one, jump in. This series is a great ride - I've read Detour and Replay and I have the rest on my Kindle. It's got Kacey's signature sexiness in the prose, and it's got that perfect rock star vibe. But what makes this series a step above is the realness woven into every story. Kacey goes there in Replay - she gives you the swoon, but nothing about Austin and Jayla's story is easy, and that's what makes it so sweet. If you love second-chance stories, this one is a great place to start your Kacey Shea journey!

"Some songs are so good, you know, but they're even better on the replay. It isn't until you've memorized the lyrics that they become significant. It's not until you appreciate the complexity of the music that it becomes better. The more times you listen, the more you fall in love."

Replay is my first read by this author. I just knew that I would love it being I'm a huge fan of rock star romance and second chance tropes, but this one kind of fell flat for me. What should have taken me one to two days to read, took me five. I fell in love with the cover and the blurb, but I just couldn't get into the story.

Austin is the practical joker and ladies man of the group. A lot of the time his joking around was ill-timed. He had no filter and was pretty immature in the beginning. It made it a bit hard for me to like his character, but as the book went on he certainly redeemed himself.

Jayla is an ex-cop who now runs her own security company. She is a survivor and extremely resilient; overcoming something that nobody should ever have to endure. She is strong, brave and fiercely independent. When Austin's band is threatened, she is hired as their new head of security. He was not only her best friend in high school, but he was also her first love. Seeing him again brings back all of those long-lost feelings. What she doesn't know is that her feelings were reciprocated.

Tragedy brought these two back together again, giving them a second chance. Will they be able to rewrite history and finally have their shot at love and happiness?

Overall, I found the story-line to be promising. But like I said before, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I did enjoy the drama/suspense that we were given involving Coy. I do wish that it had been fleshed out a bit more though for some added detail and excitement. Also, what happened with Brianna? We were told all about her character, but not what became of her. Despite my three star rating, I still found parts of the story enjoyable and will most certainly give this author another go in the future.

"My mental health is more important, and I won't put that at risk."
TW: sexual assault
I have been waiting for Austin's story ever since we met him in Detour so saying this book was highly anticipated is the understatement of the century. Unfortunately, this alone might have been my downfall since this is my lowest rated Kacey novel yet and it hurts to say that.
I liked it for the most part but sometimes I found myself trying too hard to focus on what was going on. My attention kept wandering and it wasn't fun. Almost nothing that happened in this story surprised me which I wouldn't have minded if it didn't feel like it could've been handled better. Sadly, I wasn't as invested as I thought I was going to be and it kills me to admit it.
This book follows 3 Ugly Guy's guitarist, Austin, and Jayla, who works as private security. This was a second chance novel but it didn't really feel like it to me. Mainly because I would have loved to have seen more of their past together to fully back their relationship instead of the characters just talking about it.
Austin was the same jokester we know and love. It was nice to dig a bit deeper into his personality but it also left a lot to be desired.
On the other hand, I feel like Jayla made this book. She was badass and I loved seeing her role in the relationship. I loved how different Austin and Jayla's intimate relationship was from what I'm used to and I thank Kacey for making it so. Jayla's past -awfully similar to mine- made her the way she is and I thought the topic was handled well.
One of the reasons why I couldn't give this a higher rating was because I found a few passages to be insanely problematic. As a person of color, the passages I'm talking about did not sit well in my stomach. I just couldn't get past it. I really wished there was a sensitivity reader in Kacey's beta team to have caught this before it saw the light of day but just thinking about it makes me hurt so I will move on.
Reading the last few pages of this novel were bittersweet. I didn't want to say goodbye to this group of guys but I also couldn't have asked for a better ending for them.
"Some songs are so good, you know, but they're even better on the replay... The more times you listen, the more you fall in love." (I had to include this quote because music was my first love and it resonated with me in a whole new level.)

⭐️ 5 "Badass Girl" Stars ⭐️
Since the first novel in the Off Track Records Series, I’ve been waiting for Austin’s story. With this buffoon, I knew I was in for a highly entertaining read and Kacey Shea exceeded my expectations with his second chance romance, Replay. This story was amusing, sexy, suspenseful, emotional and totally consuming!

"She's so much more than the girl I used to trade favors with, and yet the root of who she is - her inherent goodness - proves she hasn't allowed life to change her. Not where it counts."

I knew Austin needed a remarkable and special woman to make him fall in love and Jayla is exactly that person! This heroine is seriously so badass and I was in awe of her all read long. She works in security and knows how to take control in her own hands. She’s not intimidated by Austin’s never-ending flirting and teasing. Jayla likes to put him in his place and it certainly create definite sparks between them!

This read is really funny! Austin never stops with his one-liners and cheesy lines and made me laugh a lot! He’s exactly the playful guitarist we met in the earlier books. As much as he likes to be a clown with his band mates, he also has a sweet endearing side! These new emotions Jayla provokes in him are puzzling, but awe-inspiring. He can’t help his attraction for the woman he thought he had lost years ago. He wants to prove to her that his feelings for her are real and he never forgot about her!

The development of their romance is seriously beautiful. They also share some steamy passionate moments! While the tone of the novel is quite humorous, the suspense aspect is really engaging. There’s a menace planning over the band, hence the need for Jayla’s security expertise! It leads to some unexpected revelations and events that found me stunned.

"Together our bodies keep rhythm, his kisses set the melody, and my moans become the chorus. What we had last night wasn't a one-hit wonder. No, this is the lovemaking of legends."

Three Ugly Guys is an amazing group of friends and once again their dynamic is fabulous. Replay is a marvellous read that I devoured in a day. Kacey Shea concludes the Off Track Records Series on a very high note!!!

I loved replay!
The book bought all of the feels. It had me laughing, sighing and swooning.

Austin doesn’t like to commit... loves to joke around, a real ladies man. The typical rockstar.
Jayla is his complete opposite, strong, driven and a complete badass. She knows how to put Austin and his place and the sparks that fly because of that are intense.

The sweet moments between Jayla and Austin were everything and I loved that she showed him how he could just loved for bring just Austin, not the rockstar.

A funny, sexy and emotional read.

Ever since meeting the complicated playboy Austin in the first book in the Off Track Records series I have been eagerly anticipating his story and oh my freaking goodness it was so totally worth the wait!

Replay is the fourth and final installment in this incredible series and I think that Kacey Shea might have just saved the best bandmate for last. Although I have loved and adored every story so far, his second chance romance with Jayla captivated my heart in a whole new way. When I started reading I was instantly transported right back into this world and I devoured every word within a few hours. It was nearly impossible to put this one down because I wanted to see how things would come to an end, but at the same time I wasn't prepared to give up these characters and I savored every angsty moment.

Austin and Jayla were sensational characters and their story was a beautifully written and emotionally captivating tale with a ton of sexy, suspenseful and consuming moments that kept us on the edge of our seats until the end. The swoon-worthy chemistry between these two leads had my experiencing so many unexpected emotions and it was a little bittersweet at the same time because their romance was one of a kind and they stole my breath away.

Jayla was a queen badass who was strong willed, incredibly smart and one of my favorite female leads of all time. She was super fierce and I absolutely loved how her character was written because she was developed in a way that she was the perfect match for Austin, who actually has a caring side to his playboy ways. He definitely charmed his way into Jayla's heart, and mine too of course.

This story was phenomenal and I am really hoping that this won't be the last that we see of all these amazing characters that I have grown to love throughout the Off Track Records series!

This series is EVERYTHING!! Not only has every book been amazing but we finally get to see Austin brought to his knees. This book pulled at my heart strings, made me laugh, made me sad, but altogether made my heart soar. I just absolutely loved it.

Austin is a joker, ladies man, and all around great guy. His inside thoughts made me sad at times. made me want to give him a hug and keep him safe. I love the fact that he met his match with Jayla, his highschool best friend.
Jayla is a strong women. She has overcome something that not alot of people can overcome. She has found her equal in Austin and this couple together just makes me so happy.

I enjoyed seeing the characters from past books, the interaction between the band. I just really enjoyed everything about this book. I however, would love to know what happened with Brianna. I can't wait to read more from this author

Austin’s story is finally here! Jayla and Austin are incredible. I loved them so hard. They were best friends in their younger years and lost contact. Now, Jayla is ready to see the man who she always fantasized about and wondered if he ever missed her. These two are hot and sexy together and have lots of issues to resolve.

This author has done it again. She’s brought us Austin’s story in the best way. He’s arrogant and cocky. He’s a hard rocker and harder lover. Jayla is fierce and tough. She is also vulnerable and has insecurities. I loved her character so much. Pick up the story of final member of Three Ugly Guys and lose yourself in their world.

Replay by Kacey Shea is Book 4 in the Off Track Records series. It is a second chance rock star romance and forms part of an interconnecting series, I probably wouldn’t recommend reading it as a standalone as it contains elements and a story arc covering previous books.
Aww, Jayla and Austin- such amazing chemistry and such awesome characters. I didn’t want their story to end, but it was a satisfying conclusion.
Well written as always and super enjoyable. Love, laughs, tension by the bucketloads. Amazing edition to the series.

Replay was kinda like the song you love to listen on repeat and never get tired of it. I loved Jayla and Austin’s story. With a cocky, arrogant and so flirty man with this big heart, we needed a strong woman by his side to keep him grounded and trust me, it was so worth it.

As the last single man of the band standing, Austin never felt the need to settle down, just enjoying the thrill of being on stage and having fun, being the joyful and cheerful guy of the band. But when he saw Jayla again, his former crush and best friend, he knew that he couldn’t let her slip through his fingers, a decade was enough and he wasn’t going to miss his chance. As you might guess, he’d have to work a lot to crush Jayla’s walls.

Jayla was the badass and strong independent woman who made her career a priority. Protecting herself from people and working hard to protect her clients. Sharp, focused and good at her job. It took one moment of weakness to meet that boy she used to know to make her heart beating like crazy. She was a tough nut to crack, and even with her strong defenses, she couldn’t help not to fall for Austin again.

It was kinda low on the angst for sure but the foreplay was amazing, adding this little tension in cracking in the air, a spark that no one would miss. They had their past, and I thought it would have a big issues about how they had to learn from each other again but it wasn’t the case.

The dual POV was honest, sincere and upfront. I appreciated how they didn’t let anyone to break this trust. They might be arguing and fighting at times but working in their own ways to make it better. Such strong personalities that created that sensual, intense and powerful melody. I couldn’t put it down. I appreciated how they could show their fragility to each other, when they hide it perfectly to the world.

The band dynamic was just delightful, creating this crazy but so endearing family. The kind of ones you just want to be friends with. Their interactions made me smile so many times.

I adored this second chance romance, a bit heavy sometimes but alternating so greatly between the lighter moments; I felt the butterflies and the banter... a mix of sweet and hot. It was nice for a change to see Austin losing his mind and his cool when it came to her. I could feel the incredible pull and connection they shared and in spite of all the years passing by, the fire they made was still burning, slowly and passionately. Stronger every day.  Fun, sexy, a bit suspenseful and all the feels!

Fantastic Story & Listen🎧 Awesome Series Finale!

Replay
Off Track Records Book 4
By: Kacey Shea
Narrated by: Jason Clarke, Morae Brehon

Kacey Shea’s “Off Track Record” series is awesome, Austin has been one of my favorite characters, he is egotistic and full of himself but he is also “Three Ugly Guys’” resident clown, always trying to lighten up things up for others. We got to see some other sides of him throughout the series but it is great to see all of him in the book. We are shown what he is like beyond his facade and while we already know he has a heart of gold we see more of it here. Doing meet and greets before a show he sees a special someone from his past, someone he thought he would never see again, Jayla, growing up she was the girl next-door. They were good friends and getting close until her family up and left when they were 14 years old. He always wondered about her and now is his chance. Jayla, an ex-cop, currently works private security for different clients. She is a complete badass and takes her job seriously. She wanted to see Austin find out why he never tried to get in touch with her, if it was not for her friends pushing her she probably would have bailed out and not meet him. After a couple of serious incidents the band needed to up security and Austin pushed to have Jayla lead the team. It was great to watch Austin have to chase, he is used to girls doing the chasing so he is a bit out of his element but he did everything he could to spend more time with Jayla. It was also great to see the one who vowed never to get into a serious relationship want one. I loved learning about his past and Jayla’s too. Neither one had it easy and both had baggage because of it. I thought these two were perfect together and for each other. I loved how Austin handled Jayla with care, his intuitiveness on her need that. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is brilliantly plotted and there is never a dull moment. There is plenty of drama, both personal and band drama, some angst, mystery and thrilling suspense, as well as heartfelt and emotional moments and a great second chance romance. Kacey Shea out did herself in this book, touching on some serious subject matter, I won’t mention much other than it was all kept real, my heart broke for Jayla for what she went thru, both home and in the workforce. Another moving topic was Austin’s guilt and what he was doing and what he wound up doing in the end. His heart of gold really shone thru. Thank you for this awesome story and series, I am sad that this is the last book of the series, these characters and the world you created are amazing but with every ending there is always a new beginning and I am looking forward to what comes next from your creative mind.

I listened to the Audible edition, Jason Clarke & Morae Brehon are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life, give each their own voice and personalty. Their portrayal of characters is spot on, Jason Clarke’s Austin’s was perfection, he grasped his persona and humanized him, sounding just as I pictured him to sound. Morae Brehon did the same for Jayla, she perfected her role. Both did a great job with the secondary characters as well. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to, an added bonus was Jason Clarke melodic narration to a song. That you for another awesome listen🎧

Once upon a time Austin and Jayla were best friends on their way to becoming more. Two awkward teens who both came from similar circumstances found a solace in one another that just kept growing stronger. Until the day Jayla had to move away without any notice which caused their friendship to completely end. Now in present time Austin is living the dream as a rock god with his two best friends, touring the country while having all the fun he wants. That is until one concert brings Jayla back into his life, bringing back memories of their past and what was missed out on, and instantly pushes Austin to start righting those wrongs and move on with the one girl who always had his heart.

Replay is so much more than just a rockstar romance or a second chance at love and the uniqueness that Kacey Shea brought to this story was brilliant. Not only is Jayla a total badass with her job at a private security and now head of security for the tour, but she also had control when it came to pleasure as well. And I absolutely loved how Austin never pressured for more or tried to change the roles, he always listened and was eager to make Jayla happy with doing anything she wanted. I also love this wasn't an instant romance and that Austin really had to work for Jayla's affections, because despite the previous friendship the years apart made them total strangers. I can't believe I'm just now learning about the Off Track Records series but it will be fun to learn more about the other couples and how they came to be. For my first Kacey Shea novel I found Replay super cute, really funny, and the deeply emotional messages added such an inspiring touch.

I hate myself for not having read Kacey Shea's books before! Replay is the first book I read by this author and I'm completely in love with her writing and the rockstar world she created in the Off Track Record Series.

Even though I'm new to the crew and have only gotten to know Austin's story, I'm dying to go back to the beginning and get to know the rest of the band members and their stories. They all captured my heart.

Replay has everything I love in a second chance romance, and one of the things I love the most about it is that it didn't feel like the story was written with just a second chance in romance, but also to include a second chance for the characters to make amends with their past and put peace in their hearts, hearts that have been slowly getting crushed by the weight of the ghosts that have been chasing them for a while now.

Jayla and Austin are both remarkable characters. Jayla is such a badass. She is strong, smart and SO brave. I love how fierce she was, and I couldn't stop admiring her throughout the development of the story. And Austin? Even though he's always making jokes (in the most inappropiate times too), his heart is really beautiful. He is kind, caring and understanding. He's the ultimate book boyfriend. With his sometimes cheesy and always arrogant personality, he charmed his way straight into my heart, and of course, Jay's as well.

These two took me on a wild ride. One where I got to read about their steamy and passionate moments, and connect with those were they were at their most vulnerable, with the funny and sweet ones, and also, to continue to worry about the undeniable threat that hangs over their heads over the course of the story.

An intriguing, swoon worthy and emotional rollercoaster.

When I started this series, I was addicted from the very beginning. This book was no different. Austin and Jayla were interesting characters, and I loved that there was the added suspense. I was on the edge of my seat to see how their relationship would work out as well as how they would stay safe and work things out with their new label.

Austin was an intriguing character in this book. Always the one to lighten the mood with an inappropriate joke, it was interesting to watch him step up and take the lead on some things. It was also fun to watch him with Jayla as he worked to win her over. There were definitely new layers to him as we saw so much of his past and his struggle to protect those he loves.

And Jayla was great. She was strong and independent (sometimes to a fault), but she was also vulnerable. She had her own struggles to overcome from a past that couldn’t be undone, but had to be overcome. Her past was difficult to read at times, but it was tastefully written. I loved watching her put Austin in his place, but I also loved watching her open up to him and let him in.

There were a couple of times I worried this book was taking on a bit too much, but in the end it worked out well. The characters stayed true to themselves and the story remained focused on these characters and their story.

Fans of the series will love revisiting each of the other couples and seeing all the new developments. However, this can be read as a standalone, but I can’t imagine you won’t want to go back and see where it all began. I can’t wait to see what Kacey has in mind for us next.

Austin is the last man standing in his band, as the others have found love, and while he enjoys having so many different women in his bed that being a famous musician brings him, at times he finds himself lonely. At one of his concerts, a blast from his past shows up, and he's excited to see her, as they grew up together. However, after blowing meeting her afterwards, luckily her friend gives him her card to call her. Jayla is an ex-cop, who now works for a security company, and is upset when Austin's band hires her for security after she sees him at a concert. So when she shows up to go on tour with them, she's giving him the cold shoulder, and he doesn't like it. He's the joker of the group, so his no filter self isn't helping the situation at all either. However, since they're in close quarters, Austin is going to force her to talk to him, and it quickly becomes apparent that they have some potent chemistry. But Jayla isn't an easy sell since she knows his man whore ways in writing, plus she has some demons herself. And that provides some serious angst, on top of the fact that these two have some issues themselves from their past, and all of that has to be talked about before any sheets get set on fire on the regular. There's also the small fact that there's danger stalking the band which provides some big twists that had my f-bombs dropping like crazy. Luckily, there was a cast of secondaries made up of the other band members & their significant others to provide some serious hilarious moments that kept me laughing for some much needed humor. I LOVED Replay so much, as Kacey Shea penned another ROCKIN story that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Couldn’t stand the hero.

New to me author. The synopsis was intriguing - I love friends to lovers books, so I was excited to read this, but it fell flat for me.

The good - I really liked Jayla. I love when heroines have unusual jobs, and I love when they’re in positions of authority (here, she’s an ex-cop and works private security). I feel like her trauma was written in a real, respectful way, and she was able to deal with it in a healthy matter. I genuinely liked her a lot. I also liked the other band members and the conflict at the core of the story was good.

The bad - Austin. I couldn’t stand him. I haven’t read the other books in the series, but if he acts the same in all the other books then I won’t be reading them. There’s a difference between being a jokester and being a crass asshole. Austin was the latter. I could NOT believe he was supposed to be a full grown adult (like nearly 30). He talked like a 16 year old and acted even worse. He had a one track mind and was fixated on sex, but in a really juvenile way. He was disrespectful to Jayla and literally everyone else, from his band, their girlfriends...literally everyone. It was completely ridiculous and really off-putting.

Austin and Jayla were also supposed to have been best friends as children, but you really couldn’t get that from the way they interacted. Austin really only cared about sex with Jayla and didn’t seem to care about her as a person. I don’t know, it really annoyed me.

This book was well written, but I just couldn’t get over how much I disliked the hero. Completely juvenile.

This is a wonderful second chance romance that get better the further along it goes. While I enjoyed this I didn’t love it as much as the others in the series. I just struggled to connect with Jayla. I loved her jobs though because they are unusual for a woman and they seemed to make her more bad (in a good way). Austin is his normal joking self although he is thinking about finding his forever woman liked the rest of the band members. He doesn’t like feeling like a third wheel. I Love, love, love the explanation of Replay!! That Austin! He just surprised me with his statement. And That Christmas sweater thing! Gave me large grins!

I did love a lot of stuff that happens in here but I can’t mention it. I will give a hint...it has to do with the band members. Ha ha good hint huh? But they did surprise Me and made me grin...you know that big goofy one..eyes shining and teeth showing. Yeah that one!

I am more than thrilled to see what’s going on with the rest of the band and their ladies. Everyone has wonderful growth that continues throughout the series.

Overal it’s a wonderful story that has highs and lows. I laughed with this crew, was surprised and shocked at times. The Epilogues are perfect! This is a nice ending for these characters but I am sorry to see them go. Thank goodness for Re-listens so when I am missing them I can just Replay.

I did listen to this on audio. Jason Clarke and Morae Brehon are the narrators. Jason did amazing as he does normally in this series with all the guys voices. Morae Brehon is a new to me narrator.

Author Kacey Shea delivers an absolutely enjoyable read in Replay. This story has a little bit of everything – friends to lovers, second chance, rockstar, all rolled into one. You’ll go from laughing to swooning in equal measure. Replay is sweet, steamy, funny, with a little suspense – a must read.
Complete opposites, Jayla is strong and resilient, professional and driven, while Austin prefers to be the non-commital, mood-lightening, comedic relief. After years apart and reuniting at a pre-concert meet and greet, lead guitarist, Austin, searches for a way to get the now guarded Jayla to let him back into her life. He’ll take just about anything she’s willing to give. The opportunity arises after an attempt to harm the band requires new security. Austin jumps at the chance to secure Jayla as private security, insisting she be hired. Although irritated to be forced into a job, her protective instincts surge at the thought of any harm coming to her childhood friend, and overcome her need for control. 6 weeks on a tour bus. With the man she’s never been able to let go of. The now very sexy, charming, panty-dropping, rock star. It’s just a job, and he doesn’t want her any way, right?
I loved the back stage, behind the scenes vibe Replay has. You totally feel like one of the crew, and right at home with this unconventional family. Kacey Shea makes the rockstar life relatable. Make yourself right at home, and one-click this steamy and heart-warming novel today!

Jayla and Austin come from the wrong side of the tracks. They grew up together, holding one another up, through the tough times in their socio-economically depressed neighborhood. Poverty brought them together and broke them up, but they each paved a path of success on different scales.

A decade later and a past hidden deep, they meet again under different circumstances which play on their meager beginnings. Austin, the famous rockstar, and Jayla, a private security team expert, are thrown together as Austin, and his band, is in need of protection. Auston only has his eye on his old friend who he refuses to let go this time around.

Kacey Shea rocks the socks off this bad boy rockstar and humble security officer. She develops Austin and Jayla in a slow burn wrapped with scars from the past and a refreshing newness to a couple comforted by blending the old and the new. Shea writes Jayla with a tough as nails attitude but leaves her kryptonite dangling in front of her. A bit of a paradox of sorts, as Austin is the wild card to Jayla's rock solid stability. Together they fill in the missing years and must decide if this is their time or if they are passing in the night one last time. Shea nails this rockstar romance!

Well this was a surprise!
I have to hold my hands up and say that I wasn’t initially sure what I was getting into when I opened up the first page, I liked the sound of the blurb but wasn’t entirely convinced that it was going to be the book for me but boy was I wrong.
I liked the fact that the story had a little bit of everything that you could possibly want, it didn’t pigeon hole the characters, it gave them room to grow.
I flip lopped between laughing at crying at times, totally absorbed by a story that wasn’t exactly angst-ridden but that wasn’t all sweetness and light either. Whilst it was both steamy and funny most of the time, it also had its fair share of mystery and suspense peppered along the way.
At first glance, you wouldn’t have considered that Jayla and Austin had anything much in common, and for the most part, I would have to agree but darn it give them time because if there is ever a pair that epitomize friends to more, it is this pair.
The scenes with the pair of them on the tour, she is doing her job and Austin doing everything he can to show her that now that they have reconnected they could have more, were great. I felt like I was a fly on the wall between the pair of them and I was totally hooked.
Super writing, this was an absolute delight!!

Wow I loved this book, I need an Austin in my life!!
The more I read the more I fell in love with Austin!
Austin and Jayla grew up together, Jayla and her family lived next door to Austin until they moved away.
Jayla and Austin meet for the first time in years at a 3 Ugly Guys Concert, seeing each other brings back all the old feelings they once shared.
When an incident happens at a concert venue 3UG were due to play at, more security is needed and who better to employ than Jayla who works in private security.
Austin has 6 weeks to show Jayla he's still the guy she once new and loved.
Will Jayla be able to protect herself from being hurt again by those she loved and trusted, and protect her heart while living in close proximity on a tour bus with the man whose always on her mind.
There is so much more to Austin than his rock star playboy exterior/facade, he is an amazing man with a big heart who stops at nothing for those he loves.
I love that Jayla is not afraid to call Austin out!
This book shows you never really get over/forget your first love.
Replay is an amazing book, I finished it in one day.
Well done Kacey it's a great book!
I am gutted this is the last book in the Off Track Records series.

What a great book! I love music and a good rock star romance, but this was way more than I expected. I am impressed and dying for more.

Austin is exactly what you’d expect of a rock star: talented, arrogant, and a bit of a playboy. It doesn’t take long to see that he’s not just a pretty face, though. He’s also funny, caring, and unfailingly loyal. He quickly earned my respect.

Jayla is no damsel in distress. She is fierce, tough, and independent. I admired her almost immediately. She wasn’t always this strong, though; she’s hiding a secret.

The plot was riveting and kept me wanting more, even when I reached the final page. I smiled often. I was on the edge of my seat my than once. I cried, and I sighed in relief. This book had “all the feels” and chemistry to spare! It was so well written, and I love that the author didn’t shy away from deep, meaningful, but painful topics.

Replay is the fourth book in the Off Track Records series, but I read it as a standalone and had no difficulty jumping right into the story. In fact, now I want to go back and read the rest.

Replay is the final book in the Off The Track Records series and even though I am sad that the 3UG tour has finally come to an end, the encore these characters give in this story leaves you on a total high. Austin's story will have you on the edge of your seat and your anxiety levels soaring through the roof. At times I found my heart aching for Austin and Jaylah, pasts that were tainted that were now reflecting on the present. This last book was action packed, steamy and sexy, frustrating and the chemistry that radiated between these two was electric. Their story was one of second chances, giving into what your heart wanted and finally letting all your secrets out. Austin's mouth will get him into trouble so many times you might just want to smack him around the back of the head a time or two. Ultimately their story was one of two people who were destined to be together and letting yourself give in to what your heart and soul always knew was right.

I can not express how much I have loved this series and the journey the 3UG and their ladies and families endure. Austin has been a favorite of mine with his silly humor and protective ways when provoked. It was great to see this hot Rockstar fall for a strong woman. It touches on some hard topics but by no means should you shy away from this one nor any in the series.
This has some angst and of course you see all of the previous characters which was an awesome treat. Listening to each of these books has made me feel a part of the rock family for 3UG. These characters are so relatable and makes you wish you were part of their crew.
Of course, my favorite in this one was the bonus epilogue at the end which was so great to see. I will say most people have a favorite couple within series but I can honestly say I love each couple for who they are and their differences. I think I would have fallen for any of them or all of them. Thank you Ms. Shea for another well done book to wrap up this great series. Highly recommend.

Yes!!!! We finally get Austin's story and find out about what makes him, the sexy and super confident jokester, he is. Austin did not have the easiest childhood, but one lasting happy memory he does have is his neighbor Jayla. I loved how once he saw her again he was smitten. In a funny way, I knew it would take a real special women to make Austin finally want to settle down. Jayla is a strong women, who likes to be in control, if you know what I mean 😉. She was exactly what the band needed at the time and it was great to see how all of the couples are growing together. I totally loved the extended epilogue too!! All the guys as daddies, super swoon 😍. This story was once again narrated by the fabulous, Jason Clarke, who SINGS in this one!!! Also enjoyed new to me narrator Morae Brehon, who was the perfect Jayla ❤

***I was given this audiobook in exchange for my honest review by the author. This did not effect my real opinion of this story. ***

What an interesting rock star romance! This is not your typical rock star god meets girl read and that is what made it so much fun!

Austin is a typical rock star. He is the playboy, light-hearted, comedian that is always looking for a good time. He seems to never take anything seriously. Ever.

Jayla has had many issues to overcome while growing up. Being a strong, independent black woman, all she wanted to do was protect others. She originally became a cop to help and due to negative attention she eventually quit and went into security. She is definitely a bad@ass and someone that you want on your side.

Austin and Jayla knew each other growing up, she knew him back when he had zero game and when he thought he was pathetic. Only thing is, Jayla liked that side of him. The side that showed who the true Austin was and not this fake guy she sees in front of her.

I adored how Jayla made Austin better and showed him that he can be that same boy but he can also be the rock star god that he is now as well. This was a sweet story with a splash of some crazy suspense. Someone is after Austin and the band and Jayla is the one to find out who it is and protect them.

A very entertaining read and I rate it 4 outta 5!

PS: I received this book for free and am voluntarily reviewing it.

I’ve been working my way through Kacey Shea’s 3 Ugly Guys series and I have pretty much enjoyed all the books. I was super excited for a chance to see who finally nailed down notorious playboy Austin. Jayla and Austin were best friends back in school, and Jayla’s family moved away. A pretty tragic event through a them back together and it’s hard for them to deny their chemistry or their attraction. A little bit of suspense and a touch of drama rounds out this story and has been the storyline really picking up in the second half.

While this book followed along nicely with the other books, I did find that it was hard for me to get into. I was at about 60% before I felt like the story really picked up and I just didn’t relate to the characters as much as I have in some of her other books.
