    I found this book delightful with the anti hero falling in love with our sweet heroine. Their forbidden romance, coupled with their disastrous life following them, kept me hooked into their story and rooting for them all the way.

    I will definitely be continuing with this series and following this author for more exciting reads.

    My head us still spinning after finishing book one. Patrick & Kyla’s story started off at a fast pace and just kept escalating from there. I have so many questions that I am certain I will not be getting the answers to any time soon though.
    The push and pull between this pair is what good romance novels are made of. It gets me hooked every time and I am here for it. There is so much more I want to say but I fear I will end up giving away some important plot point. Great reading to look forward to in the next two books. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

    This was a fantastic read by Kristen. It is filled with action, suspense, angst, steam and twisty turns. Patty and Kyla have known each other for a long time. He is her brother’s best friend. While these two have feelings for each other, Patty knows he can’t be with her. She is his best friend’s baby sister and he thinks she deserves better than someone like him. His life is surrounded by danger and he doesn’t want her light and life darkened by him. When she is in danger, Patty is the only one who can protect her. When these two are thrown together l, their feelings explode for each other no matter how hard they push each other away. What happens when these two can’t deny their feelings any longer and cross that proverbial line? With danger coming from all sides, will Patty be able to keep Kyla safe? You’ll have to read it to find out. While this is a trilogy, it is worth reading, and you don’t have to wait long for the next book. I highly recommend this book. You will fall in love with Patty.

    Corrupted Crown is the first installment in this new trilogy. I have seen other reviewers suggest you need to read some other books before this, however I didn't and I had no issues following the story.

    Patrick and Kyla's story is a rollercoaster of emotions. They both love each other but Patty is Kyla's brothers best friend nd he knows he should not have these kind of feelings for Kyla. They have been together in the past but when things started to get too serious Patty left as he believes he is not good enough for her and if he stays with her his life will put her in danger. When someone from Kyla's past comes back to hurt her Patty is the only person her family wants to protect her, The chemistry between the two of them is off the charts. They both have family obligations that will put a strain on their feelings for each other and I hope we get to see them put all those obligations to the side and just let themselves be together without any guilt. This does end on a massive cliffhanger and the next book can't come soon enough.

    I love Kristen's mafia/crime family books and they always have great storylines and family connections and in them and this latest installment is no different

    Patrick Mulligan may be the pretty boy of the Mulligan family the one who worked as a model and runs a night club but the truth is far different he is actually the fixer for the family the one that gets things done and at the moment he wants a break so he heads to the opening of a new hotel by the family of his best friend and the main problem is that his best friends ;little sister is there He wants Kyla Costigan but he keeps walking away because she is poison determined to prove herself in the family business. She may have distanced herself from the crimes of her family but when her past comes back to haunt her and she is in danger Patrick will do whatever he needs to in an effort to keep her safe and in the process may learn that he really cannot walk away form her Looking forward to more in this upcoming trilogy

    The first chapter grabs you and draws you in and the story takes its twists and turns taking the reader a long for the ride. At some points all I could focus on was poor little rich girl but Patrick and Kyla even each other out both struggling with guilts from there pasts both wanting what they try to deny themselves of due to their guilts.
    I highly recommend this well written story Kristen Luciani has put her heart and soul into every paragraph and you can feel it well after the last page has read right as you are scrambling to your kindle app looking to continue with the next book in the trilogy. Sleep is over rated. Thank you for the amazing story.

    Wow what a start to Patrick and Kyla's rocky flying high sparks love story.

    Feel bad for Patrick such a good person deep down fixing everone elses screw ups including his father's choices of leadership.

    The suspense not knowing whats next? Exciting! The emotions are everywhere.
    Kyla bit of a snob but I get it. Her father is no better. "Different tactics same results" quoted by Declan.

    They are both in danger whats next for them.

    You guys!!!!!! Oh my! I loved Patrick since we met him in Savage Ruler and I was so excited when I heard patrick was getting not only one book, but 3!!!! Corrupted Crown 👑 is the first book in Patrick and Kyla’s story in the Reckless Reign series!

    Patrick and Kyla have wanted each other for years and trying to keep their explosive 🧨 feelings at bay proves to be impossible. Patrick not only doesn’t want to betray his best friend, but he also doesn’t want to throw Kyla into the middle of a mafia family. Little did everyone know, her father put her in danger from his own contacts. Now both are in danger and the only way Kyla can stay safe, is by marrying Patrick, whom which she has a love/hate relationship, emphasis on hate. 🤬

    This hate is perhaps why their feelings and $ex are so damn 🥵 🔥. I love that they also have the best friends sibling thing going on, but man I felt so bad for Patrick when Logan found out about them. It really seemed like everyone kept shitting 💩 on Patrick the whole time. I can’t wait for the next books so Patrick can come back at everyone that doubts him, and show them who really was the deserving son in the Mulligan Mafia Family. We can also see where the 🔥 between Kyla and Patrick goes in the next two books, cause damn these two are hot 🥵

    Overall, yes go read this book!!! If you can’t handle cliffhangers, wait until the full series it released. 📕 Book Two Vicious Vows releases October 7th and 📕 Book Three Tarnished Thrown releases November 4th.

    I always buy Kristen Luciani books I just adore her writing especially the hot Alpha mafia men. This book is superb as first part of the trilogy. Hated the cliffhanger but need to buy the next book as I NEED TO KNOW! Both Kyla and Patrick are both in need of help. I love these two. The chemistry between them is so scorching hot. There is plenty of bad guys after them, plenty of twists and turns, it's a definite purchase. I have thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end.     Corrupted Crown is book 1 in a new dark mafia romance. One may think dark mafia romance, I have read them all but this trilogy feels very different. It is an arranged marriage, but also involves the best friend's little sister.

    Pat is one of the sons of Declan Mulligan from the Irish Mafia, Patrick is the enforcer in his family. Now he is also going to be the heir. Kayla is the sister of his best friend and also the girl he loves but knows he has to stay away from, yet he goes all out to protect her... even if it means he has to marry her.

    Kayla knows she has a connection with Pat, she may even love him. Although it sometimes feels like he loves her too, he always leaves. Can she bury these feelings for him?

    This story ends on a cliff-hanger but I cant wait for the release of the next book to see how it continues!
