    Patrick and Kyla's love story continuation is amazing. Book 2 had some much twist and turns trying to keep up.
    Lots of secrets from the past both fathers not fully honest with their children.
    Finally Patrick and Kyla on the same page. Told each other "I love You" Their is a rat who can it be?? I have a few individuals in mind.

    Lots of emotions and pain. It just keeps coming.
    Look forward to Book 3 on how it comes all together. It will be adventurous. Thank you Kristen for great stories.

    A lot is packed into this middle book of the trilogy, which leaves the reader little time to wonder if it's leading anywhere. Undecided if Kyla made stuff happen or just had stuff happen to her. The GirlPower storyline was the weak link in the book.

    This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It continued right where the first book left us with that cliffhanger. Kyla and Patrick manage to escape certain death and manage to work things out. They really are perfect for each other. They balance the other out perfectly and I'm sooo excited to see where they go from all this. Patrick tracks down Massey and does what needs to be done to make sure Kyla stays safe.
    This book ends with their wedding, not the one they originally planned, but still them finally married. But drama always seems to find them and disaster strikes when Patrick's dad falls ill again. I'm dying to know what it is he wants to tell Patrick about Kyla. I literally will be counting down the days until the final book comes out.

    Book two of this trilogy was the perfect love story for Patty and Kyla! While they finally were able to be together AND accept being together, too many threats are still in the outlying. I mean I suppose it’s the way the Mafia is, especially when your the boss. One major threat gone, one left, with many many more to come I’m sure.

    Kyla is taking a step in the right direction to get stronger. She doesn’t want to be caught unprepared again, and I LOVE IT! Plus the strength she felt in herself when she started learning, was amazing! Patrick is trying to navigate a life he never wanted, mob boss, but he is doing it in a spectacular way while paving his own path and it awesome to see. Their relationship it still steamy 🔥 🥵 and the possessiveness Patrick shows towards Kyla both in and out of the bedroom is 💦 and it only increases tenfold at the end!

    Kyla and PATRICK are able to FINALLY have their wedding and focus on their family, but not without many hitches along the way. It would seem both sides of the families are beginning to accept their relationship, even if with hesitation. However, accepting or not, there is still something fishy going on with both of their dads…. I need to know their secrets!!! Like. Right. NOW!!!

    Go read this book!!! Well maybe read book 1 first, Corrupted Crown, THEN read this book!!

    This is my review after finally finishing this book. It's a slow-burning agonizing book. It has so many twists and turns. Its like Patty is a 18 in this no ready to be boss but having to step into a job he wasn't groomed for. So I changed from 1 star to 5. Don't be like me and get discouraged keep reading.

    I'm not sure why this book has so many great reviews! I couldn't even finish this book. Patty doesn't have the mentality to be a mob boss. He seems more focused on Ky than anything that has to do with taking care of business. I understand this is a spin-off series but I think it's missed the mark. Boring is the nicest thing I can say about the part I read.
