Muse Kindle Edition
Things I should have done:
Kept my dick in my pants.
Stayed away from my adorable little roommate.
Kept my mouth and hands, off of said roommate.
Concentrate on my upcoming exhibition and prove my parents wrong.
That’s what I SHOULD have done, but now everything is a mess and the thing I thought I wanted most in the world has been replaced by an adorable little brunette who refuses to even speak to me.
The Muse
Things I should not have done:
Get distracted from my goals.
Get close to my cocky roommate and his sexy smirk.
Let his mouth and his hands anywhere near me.
Be seduced from the kind of life I always wanted; quiet, ordered and alone.
That’s what I should NOT have done, but now everything is a mess and the things I thought I wanted most in life has been replaced by a cocky boy who shattered my heart beyond repair.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 November 2017First the cover caught my attention, that smile, omg. Then the blurb sold the deal and the story itself? Brant and Abby are just the best characters. Right from the offset, you can tell there’s going to be… ‘tension’ between these two. Brant comes off as a like bit of a douche, but in a good kind of way. He knows what he wants… and likes and he’s not afraid to admit it.
Abby is a bit naive and doesn’t get what all the ho-ha is about boys and sex. She had one attempt and didn’t enjoy it so she is happy to go without. Until she meets Brant.
Brant is like a whirlwind, rushing into her life and making her live it for once. He’s irresistible and what he does to make Abby fall for him just made me swoon all over him.
This story was full of love and laughter, and the ending? So heartwarming.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 November 2017Room mates to lovers is a trope I always enjoy. They are always super funny and entertaining. I love a good room mates to lovers, when they're filled with sexual tension and funny banter. This was one of those.
Coyer is a lady's man who is always being kicked out of his current living situations because he sleeps with his room mates and when they're expecting more from him, he's already moving on to the next lay. Abby is a control freak, who hates change and people who disrupt her meticulous routine. Her room mate leaves her high and dry and she suddenly needs a new room mate to be able to afford rent.
In comes Coyer, who just so happens to be kicked out of his current place for sleeping with his room mate's sorority sister, at just the right time. Coyer is desperate to find a new place where he can work on his art, and get the pieces he needs for the exposition that can make or break his future career as an artist. He responds to Abby's ad and goes in to see the apartment. As soon as he lays eyes on Abby he's attracted to her but he swore that he was done sleeping with his room mates, he just had no idea he was gonna be faced with such temptation day in and day out, and also be dealing with a lack of inspiration with his art.
At first things are weird, Abby keeps to herself and wants nothing to do with him, but Coyer is so intrigued by her, he tries everything to get to spend some time with Abby and get to know her. It takes some time but he manages to get Abby to hang out with him, watching Dr. House and making her dinner becomes their thing, until it becomes too much to fight the attraction they have towards one other. Coyer suddenly gets his inspiration back, and it's all due to Abby and how much he wants her. All the pieces he paints are her. And at a certain point they stop fighting their attraction, they give in to each other. And it's perfect and steamy and sweet. It's everything, until it's nothing.
Coyer had never been happier and so inspired in his life. He didn't question anything, he didn't think about the repercussions. And those pieces, those pieces that are the best one he's ever painted might get him a successful career but they also might make him lose the girl; his Muse, and the love of his life.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looking for a Roommate?
Muse was a perfect story when I was looking for hilarious, deliciously hot, and sweet book to read. Bonus: it was by a new to me author. I want to say it was the blurb that got me but let's be honest I am a girl who enjoys a GREAT cover, which this book certainly has in spades.
Coyer/Brant and Abby are the perfect yin/yang. Where Abby is uptight, type A, straight-A student; Brant was a jock, straight up playboy, and a completely talented artist. In romance world, it's a perfect combination for a couple.
For who Brant project out to the world he was completely opposite to Abby. He showed her who he really was and had potential into becoming in all his attempt to woo her. My man worked soooo hard to win her over and he was completely adorable doing so. He had me 'awww'-ing and shedding a few tears until the end.
Nina Auril creates a fun book with some hilarious encounters, even better secondary characters, and even more fantastic sexual tension. Please do yourself a favor and grab this gem! Afterall, overly intrusive and ever hungry best friend, Alex, is about to have his HEA in the standalone new release Maniac.

4.0 out of 5 stars His Muse!
Muse was an enjoyable read from start to finish! Brant is the sexy Artist, and a playboy! Abby is the guarded, quite and study hard type of girl! These two become so much more than just room mates!

5.0 out of 5 stars Unlikely Muse - loved it!
4.5 Stars! With art you share a little piece of your soul with each work you display but just be careful your muse is also willing to share a little of her soul too. Quirky, obsessively organized Abby is left in a lurch when her roommate disappears and moves out without a trace. As luck would have it, notorious womanizer and brilliant artist Brant needs a place to stay, but he has a bad track record of screwing around with all his former female roommates leaving him out on the street more often than not. Brant is determined not to screw up the living situation with Abby, but can’t help himself from getting under her skin the first moment he meets her. Abby is a do it yourself kind of woman but Brant is determined to work his way into her life and become friends if not more. Brant was surprisingly sweet and definitely sexy, taking care of Abby like no one had ever done before. And Abby’s growth from awkward nerd to sexy minx was a great transformation. Overall enjoyable read from this new writing duo.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just loved everything about this story. :)
I was totally sold on the blurb. I mean, read that blurb. What's not to like about that? The thing is.... the story totally lived up to that blurb. These two are some of the most compelling characters that I've read. You get a really good sense of who they are and how they think. Abby is just.... that type of naive girl that you know has some tough breaks and you want to see her thrive. Brant comes storming into her life and gives her no choice but to become friends with him. I am not going to spoil things, but he does some of the sweetest, most thoughtful things that totally had me melting all over the place. The way this story was written.... I was laughing my head off in the beginning and totally emotional by the end. I felt like my heart was out there dripping colors all over the place and that is what I look for in a story. I am so excited about this author duo and I can't wait for more from them.
