Uncharted: a survival love story Kindle Edition
“When we crash-landed on the island, I thought my story was over. Turns out, it was about to begin.”
He was a total jerk from the first moment we met. I took one look at the stranger in the airport terminal and knew he was exactly the kind of man my mother spent seventeen years warning me against. Gruff, grumpy, and far too good-looking to stare at without experiencing heart palpitations. Thankfully, I’d never see him again.
Or so I thought.
I couldn’t have known our plane would crash. I couldn’t have predicted we’d be the only survivors. I couldn’t have ever, in my wildest dreams, anticipated that the jerk from the airport would become my only source of solace in the darkness. It’s so wrong to want him, for so many reasons. But as the months slip by and our hopes of rescue grow dimmer… the spark between us kindles into something impossible to ignore. Sometimes, survival requires swimming in uncharted waters. But if salvation doesn’t come soon…
I might just drown in him.

- Reviewed in Australia on 13 January 2018Verified PurchaseI absolutely adored this book. I am having trouble putting into words why I loved it, I loved that the story was simple - no overly complicated back stories, no excessive reliving of past issues/mistakes. It was about what was happening right now and just that. And I loved the way it ended. I think if it was done any other way it would have felt overdone and too much. This way, it was just right.
- Reviewed in Australia on 4 September 2021Verified PurchaseThoroughly enjoyable read. Ian wrecked me, and the love between Beck and Violet is one for the history books. Brilliant story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, sad, sweet, HEA
Verified PurchaseI’ve had this book on my Kindle for quite awhile, but don’t remember reading it before. Stumbled on it while searching for anything interesting. It definitely fit the bill. You’re pulled in from the start, with well-developed characters and a different plot that kept it fresh. I like the author’s writing and really felt for these characters. Would love to see what happens to them after the book ends, but it was still satisfying.
The story is about two strangers, nothing alike, who end up stranded on a desert island. You think you can guess the rest, vut the author throws in more dimension. I read it in a day and plan to check out her other books. Recommend this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great romance
Verified PurchaseAfter falling in love with Julie Johnson through her Forbidden Royals series, I started binge reading her books. I loved this one especially. The way they hate each other at first and then, fighting for survival on a lonely island, really hooked me and I had to keep reading throughout the night. Can't wait for the sequel!
