    There seriously is not enough stars to rate this book. This book makes you feel all the feels and leaves you hanging. Its like when you have been denied an orgasm. I devoured this book is a few hours. I don't think there is enough words to simply say about this book but I suppose I better whip some together and write this review.

    Crowned by Hate is the first book in the Crowned Trilogy. After reading book one thank goodness that there is another two. We are introduced to Bryant and Isa. Isa is the girl who I have a major crush on, everything about her I love. I love her take no crap attitude and her sassy and fiery attitude. Bryant is still a mystery. There were times when I thought I had hi figured out but nope I was put back in the dark again. He is dangerous, sexy, immensely successful, and seemed to hold Isa’s life in the palm of his hand. We are introduced to some pretty interesting side characters who have motives of their own, This book completely confused the hell out of me and there is so many questions that I need to know badly.

    This book lived up to be a complete mind screw , from the moment that you start this book, you are completely engrossed into this messed up, dirty, gritty and edgy story. This plot is explosive and it has you following such a interesting, addictive and chaotic book. Crowned by hate is full of such mystery, blackmail, secrets and is full of explosive sexual chemistry and connection.
    This book, honestly, destroyed me. It ripped my heart straight from chest and crushed it with its bare hands, It sucks you in, captivates your soul and demands everything from you. Its a book that won’t be easily forgotten. Filled with twists like you’ve never seen.This book will push you to your limits. I hope your ready for this crazy, twisted ride of your life. There is so many twists and turns that your mind will be spinning.

    You will be left confused, with so many questions running in your head. I still cant even get over with what I had just read, I just need the second book so much.

    Amo has done a brillant job at keeping me addicted to Isa and Bryant and their hate to hate to like relationship. I started thinking I knew where this was going and then BAM heres a twist and I am left thinking whaaa........ but it doesn’t end there here add in few more twists to keep me on my toes. Ohhh and that ending I was left thinking What That’s It?? but wow was I wrong, there was a second ENDING and now I am back to being like whaaaa?????????? I need more, there are so many unanswered questions that I need answered, I seriously need to know what is going on and what is going to happen next!!!
    I would recommend this to anyone who likes a total mind boggling read, who loves stories with lots of twist and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat, if you love Dominant Alpha males who are very very bad and if you love a sassy firey woman then this is definitely the book you want to read.

    First, please forgive the fact that I am a kiwi and this is the first Amo Jones book I have read. Secondly I am throwing a whole bunch of stars at this review because I am seriously still thinking about these characters after a week. I love a good twist but I don't like to work too hard at it. The plot twists in this book were like bam, and then bam theres another and by then I just gave up trying to figure out what was going to happen next and just enjoyed the ride. I have heard Amo Jone's other series are next level so I don't know how I will cope but I have the biggest TBR list from this author I can't wait to get in to.
    These characters were intense with a side of cool. I definitely picked up on a few kiwi nuances which I loved and really dug the vibe of the writing style. Such an amazing book/series.

Bryant uses one of the events from Isa past to blackmail her into marrying him. After the wedding, they seem to be getting along okay but not everything is as it seems...

    Wow! That was... wow! I waited a long time for this duet to be complete before I read this book but as soon as I finished, I felt like I needed to do a reread before I could tackle Crowned by Fate anyway. I’m so glad I avoided spoilers and that I can now dive straight into the rest of the story. I thought the story was good, it’s dark and super hot. However, the ending blew me away. I don’t want to spoil it so if you want your mind blown then read it yourself.

    If you're looking for a sweet romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger, then this book is definitely not it. This cleverly written book ventures into a pit of darkness I wasn't prepared for, so the depravity, anger, hate and violence took me by utter surprise hence only 4 stars, so much so, I nearly opted out early but instead, the quality of writing and the many twists kept me intrigued (and at times appalled), but I'm so glad that I persevered. This book ends on a cliffhanger with you scratching your head and asking w.t.f.? Up is down and down is up, but do yourself a favour and read the second book because whilst it gets worse before it gets better, it does all come together in a satisfying conclusion. Phew! My head is still swimming after having just finished the Duet which I give a resounding 5 stars.

    This addictive story will have your head spinning and craving for more. Because no matter the level of crazy, it's a captivating and unputdownable book. I just couldn't stop reading and never wanted it to end.

    Having read previous books from this author, I knew I had to give in to the story and not overthink what might be going on, because Amo Jones is a master when it comes to twisted books. She has a way of spinning her stories in such a way that there's no chance anyone could predict what's happening. So, the best way to enjoy her books is to know as little as possible, leap into it, let yourself be pulled into her world and enjoy the wild ride.

    Regarding the level of craziness, it's such a twisted story that even halfway through the book, I didn't know what was going on. A few things got clearer farther down the road but at the end, I was speechless and had no idea what was real and what wasn't.

    I’m not getting into the storyline here because the less you know about the book the more you will enjoy it. Just so much: This is definitely not your everyday kind of read.

    Bryant Royal was a character I had to warm up to at first because he wasn't the nicest in the beginning, but he still managed to pull me in and onto his dark side. It was thrilling to say the least. However, I came to love him later on when his heart thawed a fraction.

    Isa definitely found her perfect match with Bryant. This was clear for me from the very beginning because both had absolute craziness tendencies.

    The author knows how to put her readers through the wringer because you wouldn’t know what's happening even when it was right in front of you since nothing can be trusted. When you think you know what's going on, you’re still wrong. This makes her stories so special because the author is so unpredictable. She has a special talent and her writing is like no one else's. She also brings out the dark side of me because let me tell you that I haven't said as many bad words in my entire life as during this read.

    This was one of the books that got better and better with each page and was so hard to put down. I was glued to the pages and never wanted it to end. So, you can imagine how I feel about waiting for the next book to come out. You know, I'm not above begging so pleeeeeeeaaaaaasssssseee hurry up and give us the next book. =P

    Book #1 Crowned by Hate by Amo Jones. This is the first book in the series and my first date with Ms. Jones writing and storytelling. By the reviews, I came across I’ve become very curious and gave it a try. Wow this is something new and different for sure. This novel was indeed captivating and the characters very mysterious, energetic and engaging.

    I am still overwhelmed and astounded by the story because it did surprise me at the end and twisted shattered my perception. I thought I needed to reread the book in case I missed the clues because on the surface it did look something else entirely. The flashbacks were little warnings, explanations that I dismissed too fast or haven’t analyzed enough.

    Amo Jones is brilliant storyteller that has fascinating way twisting the plot until you left openmouthed and confused and yet wanting for more. Twisted darkness pulled me into a sinister web of lies, deceits and mental games giving a little bit of hope of happy ending and when smashing to pieces my expectations.

    Let’s talk about Isa. She was immature, dishonest, insincere, a rude young woman who has a man’s appetite for sex and thrill. She put herself in situations that ‘normal’ people wouldn’t dare venture in. The tent scenes were alarming, disturbing and I do get why this woman has this PSTD episode throughout the story. What I didn’t get why she cared so little about her own safety, disregarded her own life. Why did she put herself into the situations or so courageously followed the danger?

    “I’m so sick of the slut-shaming in this day and age. A girl gets called a slut if she has the sexual appetite of man. Well, I’d wear that badge with pride and polish it with my middle finger.”

    As the daughter of the President, you would think would behave in a certain way. Nope, she was like spoiled, attention seeking kid on the surface, but underneath it all where lurking secrets and scars she was avoiding to acknowledge. However, I grew to like her even with her quips and rebellious, adventurous, thrill-seeking, risk-taking, audacious character traits. I’m not sure how or when that happened, but she was able to gain my favor and sympathy. I think Bryant brought out her sweet and soft side to me and redeemed her in my eyes.

    "...you know when you take that first spoonful of a molten lava cake, and the moist—yes, I said moist—cake melts away on the tip of your tongue, right before your taste buds get the ride of their life with the rich creamy sauce that begins to slither down your throat? Yeah. His voice was like that."

    Bryant is still a mystery to me, with all his secrets and devious tactics left me questioning his conduct, motives. Every time I felt like I figured out his motivation, something would happen that let me know that I was still in the dark. He was dangerous, sexy, successful and possessive. Bryant gave the impression to hold Isa’s life in his hands and hate her, but along the story where was this other side of his less monstrous side that made me like him. Something was fascinating and methodical about his domineering and sometimes harsh treatment of Isa that grew into something beautiful by the end. Both characters changed towards each other, but before it could really become a sweet love story, everything shatters and twists.

    “I’ve met my worst nightmare, and I call him my husband, who by the way, will be hunting you right now.”

    I must admit Amo Jones knows how to twist us into her world of storytelling and leave us wanting more. Amazing work. Hope the second book reveals more and gives some answers to the millions of questions unanswered.

    Crowned by Hate is the first book in the Crowned duet, telling the story of Isa Johnson and Bryant Royal. Unofficially, they both have met at some point in their lives, but now they made their relationship more official through a marriage. Each of them entering with different thoughts into it.

    Isa is a not so typical rich girl, daughter of the President, rich, but wild, rebellious, making everything in her power to disconnect from her family and also fill in some voids in her life, one of it being the love of her parents. Bryant is a successful man, with his own business, alpha-male through and through. What started as a hate relationship, for sure it turned out more loving than they expecting.

    The plot is a slow burn somehow, but fast as well, in a sense that time frame is not so long. I liked that the action happened rapidly, with the perfect amount of detail. For how short it was this book I would say that it was good. The ending though shocked me, I wasn't expecting it at all and I can wait to start the next part Crowned by Fate. I want to see what happens further between Isa and Bryant, will they be the same or will they need to work harder for their happily ever after?
