You show me you care, but then something changes. The brightness in your eyes shines through on your good days, but when you come to me on your dark days, the blackness has taken over. At least I know what I’m in for . . . pain.
You’ve managed to crawl under my skin in the most excruciating yet sensual way, my darkest secrets are now yours, and the emotions I feel for you are something I’ve never felt before. This sensation is strange, yet exhilarating. Do you feel the same? If you do love me, please . . . let me go.
Liz is from bright sunny Queensland, Australia. She has always been a reader. When she was little she would be up late reading Garfield and Asterix comic books and also Footrot Flats. When she hit high school she read Tomorrow When the War Began by John Marsden and from there, her love of books continued to grow. She always has a book to read beside her bed along with a notebook for when inspiration hits at those crazy hours.
She is a stationary addict and a one-click addict. She loves everything books, authors and of course loves chocolate and lollies to keep her going.
This was me while reading this installment. Why? Because the theory I had since book one proved to be correct! Go me...
That said, I didn't enjoy this installment as much as I did the first two. I'm not exactly sure why, to be honest. The writing felt a little off in this one. I don't know, a little amateurish maybe? Something...still overall this was a nice little series that had me hooked from beginning to end, and I was happy with the way things were wrapped up for all involved. So this installment gets a solid thumbs up, and all three parts together get a solid two thumbs up.
(My review is going to be quite short, as I don't want to give anything away and spoil the mystery for you.)
When I started that third opus in the Letters in Blood series, I was very curious to see where the author was going to lead us, and most of all, I couldn't wait to finally get the answers to the whole mystery.
In that way, Forever Yours didn't disappoint, with flashbacks taking us back to the hell that was Elenore's childhood, and with revelations and pieces of the whole puzzle little by little falling into place. The mystery was gripping, making me wonder, think, suspect, until the last revelations.
Unfortunately, the romance part didn't convince me, I just couldn't relate to Elenore's feelings toward Roman or her captor. It was something that already bothered me in the previous book, and it didn't change in this one. She is conflicted, but I couldn't feel her conflict. I appreciated though, the ending .

Acertei neh? O que me deixou poooota da vida! Terminei esse terceiro livro revirando os olhos, aliás, passei toda a leitura dele assim... porque né... não aceito não!!!!!!!!
Book #3 is finally here, and I was so excited that as soon as it arrived on my Kindle, I immediately went and clicked to download from the cloud. This was one of those books where I had been waiting for it to hurry up and arrive. I have loved this series by Liz Lovelock. Forever Yours was a good conclusion to the Letters in Blood series that had followed Eleanore from when she was captured and in Book #3 finally released but not left unscathed. At the end of Book #2 we were left hanging with a major cliffhanger, and in Book #3 the answers are finally revealed. Not giving too much of the story away but I have to admit I did not see the twists coming when the author revealed who the Captor was and then when the Copycat came along - wham another twist I never saw coming. I was like OMG seriously, what are the odds, but then again it is a book so anything can happen. The only downside I had with this particular book was I was hoping for a bit more of a powerful reveal and more interaction when we discovered Eleanore's real identity and the fact she had another family out there, we got a chapter of it, but I wanted more. Overall though, Forever Yours was a good conclusion to the Letters in Blood trilogy and the killers reveal will leave you shaking your head and going how can that be, how did he manage to deceive everyone?
This book picks up right where we left off and we are finally given some much needed answers about who Captor really is and I have to say I was a little disappointed with the revelation. We also have a copy cat as well and when the killer's identity is revealed I had a feeling it was this person. I didn’t enjoy this story as much as the others because as the final book I was expecting more detail about certain events and closure in certain areas. I also don’t agree with Elenore’s choices in this story either so that was another hit for me as well. Overall, I did enjoy this series as a while and so happy I found this author!
I couldn't wait for this book to come out, I enjoyed the first two so much, they kept me on the edge of my seat. I have to be honest here and say I was a bit disappointed with this one. I could not wait to find out her the captor was and when I did find out I was underwhelmed.
The first two kept me captivated and interested, this one not so much. I felt like there were things that still were not answered.
I did really like the female character Eleanor, she had been through so much. She was a survivor and so strong.

This is the third and final book in the Letters in Blood series. Make sure you read Dear Captor and With Love first.
This instalment exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved it. Questions I had rolling in my head was answered. Any guesses I made were wrong which totally rocked me.
A fantastic series that has me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend you read this series.
This had a very different feel to the two previous books, much more suspense/mystery than before. It didn't quite hit the mark emotionally for me, hence the 4 stars. The plot, writing and character development is all very good and this is an exciting conclusion to the series of books. It can't, however, be read as a stand alone.
The story picks up straight from book 2, where a new character of 'The Intruder' was introduce. If you've read the previous two books you've probably picked up on the 'dodgy guy' hints and will possibly, maybe have some suspicions. However there are some VERY unexpected twists along the way. This is novella length (just under a 2 hour read) and there was a LOT of story packed in this last instalment.
The pace was maybe a little too swift and as a result I didn't feel as strong a connection to Elenore in this book. There was so much emotion in the two previous books but it was sadly lacking at some vital times in this one. We skim over Elenore's feelings too much, we don't experience any of her anguish over her losses and barely touch on the issues arising from her captivity. Her visit with her real family also left me cold.
That said this is still a really good book, with so many surprises and little added twists that it kept me hooked. I loved the big show down, the ending and the epilogue, some bits were maybe predictable but very few. I also really liked Elenore's decision following the show down, that REALLY made this story different to so many.
I would recommend this to friends who love a darker read. There isn't any dubious or non-consent, in fact there is almost zero sexual content across the three books, and very little true romance, yet it still feels like a love story. Which is a testament to the quality of writing in this book.
Looking at other reviews, I am in a mind set of my own with the ratings. The first two books grabbed my attention. I could understand Elenore wanting to humanize herself with her captor. It wasn't supposed to be legitimate feelings though. I guess she didn't get the memo. The third book quickly started unraveling for me. How can you end up with someone who kidnapped you, sliced you up and shot you? Held you hostage for over 19 days, with hardly any food or water? This is beyond Stockholm syndrome. This would hurt even Dr. Phil's brain. This man admitted to killing 8 women. Since he's had a change of heart, I guess he's forgiven for taking those lives. What the actual hell?! I know this is fiction, but come on! He's so handsome that his looks are compared to a god and he's deeply sorry for kidnapping, slicing up and shooting those 8 women, so he's forgiven... This book broke my brain...

I will not rant. I will not rant. I will not rant. Oh hell, fuck it.
This book series went like this :
"Dear Captor, Even though you kidnapped me, hit me, cut me, starved me and shot me, I will manage to forgive and love you because......Vani (that's me btw, "Bookish Gusto") loves Joseph Morgan, choco lava cake and money. Your Captive. "
What? Doesn't make sense? Well, this book doesn't either!! I swear to God even SSA Aaron "I have an excellent poker face" Hotchner would be compelled to roll his eyes at these MC's.
Let me recount all the inconsistencies even though they'll boil my blood for hours. Again!
1) I get that Elenore was physically and mentally abused in her childhood and teen years and that will make her reactions differ in comparison to other captives.......but did all the other captives had to be just whimpering idiots who did nothing except cry, snivel and plead?!! How can we believe that!!
2) Elenore had no backbone. None. She let her boss railroad and belittle her every second of her life and said or did nothing. Nope..... can't expect her to stand up for herself unless she's being starved by a serial killer. Oh how silly of me, she didn't do that when starved either!!!
3) We are supposed to believe that Elenore developed love/stockholm/lust (I really don't know if either is appropriate for this situation) for her Captor by just one kiss. One kiss!! Did he have a custom made lust saliva or something?! Maybe had some work done on his lips? If so, I really need the guy's number. Pronto
4) Indulge me here a little. The captor turns from *brandishing a knife* "Oh baby scream for me " to *on the side of the road with an old woman* "ma'am let me help you with your groceries" in what feels like seconds. Just because he fell in love with our "no-spine" heroine. His psychopathic tendencies vanish, people!! I'll be sure to give that cure to Ted Bundy when I figure out how to time travel.
That finale!! So much is uncovered that will leave you with your jaw hanging open and your mind blown. Just when you think you have it figured out, you uncover just another piece of the puzzle. This book messed with my mind for sure.
I don't know what to say about this book without giving anything away. So all I'm going to say is, you need to read this and start from Dear Captor. Enjoyed the great strong characters who you can't help feel for. Very well written, easy to follow and unpredictable. This is the last book of the Letters in Blood trilogy and it ends with its own epilogue, which feeds the nosy reader in me.
Forever Yours is the 3rd & final book is the Letters in Blood series by Liz Lovelock. I can't really tell you much about this one as it will give it away & this book, you'll never see it coming. I had my thoughts on whom the captor was & while I was partially right, I was also so far off base that I didn't want to believe what I was reading!! So congratulations Liz on an amazing, addictive & well written series. Can't wait to see what you come out with next.
The final installment of this intricate and gripping series....what a complex web of lies and half truths has been woven here by this skilled writer....I metaphorically held my breath when I started this book and have not stopped since....
This book in so many ways follows in the great tradition of who dunnit? Elenore remains the victim whose strength of character allows her to fight back ...but as time goes on the relationship between captor and captured becomes more complicated the emotions Elenore experiences blur lines and more than one life is at risk....
The ending is as it should be and I shall say no more than that...this is a dark, thrilling story with so many secrets which are all revealed in the end...I received an ARC of this book from the author..
I'm out of breath. I feel like I've just run the biggest marathon and I'm still trying to catch my breath. My heart is beating at a million miles a minute, my mouth is dry and the pain in my head is excruciating. I am so mindblown, so impressed and so confused. I don't know what to think. I don't want to say that that was my preferred ending for the series, given there was just so much happening and so much to be discussed. But I am satisfied because all the main questions were answered and I feel like the characters got what they deserved. I'm a sucker for a happy endings, and while it might have been a bit perverse, I loved it all. One of my new fav series of the year and I want more!
I loved this series it was definitely something very different from Liz Lovelock and what a fantastic job she has done. I was kept guess throughout, full of suspense, twists and turns. Elenore is without a doubt a survivor, such a strong woman. It’s a must read.

Okay so that didn't go to plan. What the hell did I just read!!! My brain is still trying to process every single word that I just read. I can't believe it.
Guys you possibly couldn't get a perfect way to end a series than in Forever Yours. Liz Lovelock has completely blown my mind and I loved every minute of it.
As we know from the first two installments, Elenore has been kidnapped and held against her will. Tortured, hurt and mentally exhausted Elenore still finds hope in the depths of hell. She's strong and won't allow her captor to rob her. She won't give in.
But what happens when her captor changes? What happens once Elenore realizes that there is more than one? What brutality will he or she inflict on her? Will she survive at the new hands that want her to suffer?
And Roman..... Can he find Elenore before it's too late? What secrets will be revealed? Who will survive, and who will ultimately lose their life? Because death will come.
Who is The Captor?
Guys what a sinfully delicious ending to a raw, gritty and confronting series. It kept me guessing until the very end and once the secret was revealed it left me......SPEECHLESS PEOPLE!!! Liz once again was able to manipulate my every thought process, keeping me guessing until the big reveal. And it took me what felt like forever to process what I was reading. I am still reeling from it.
Congratulations Liz on yet another spectacular read. A brilliant ending to an amazing series.
This is going to be a hard review to write because everything I want to say will give something away and I don't want one little hint to get out. This book needs to be read going in blind with only the knowledge that you've gained from the first two books because it will totally blow your mind and make you second guess not only what you've read but Elanore as well. Everything and I mean everything comes to light in this last installment of the series and if you thought the first two books were good...this one will blow you away. This story is brilliantly written with a storyline that will grab you by the throat and not let you go until you read the last word. The storyline will keep you on edge, let you relax and then kick your nerves right back into high gear. Nothing is what it seems, until all is revealed. I don't know what everyone will think of Elanore when this book ends but the woman is strenght and heart personafied.
The characters are so very well written and so terribly complex that you will find yourself wanting to all in a shrink yourself for these people, because surely something is wrong with them, but then you really can't help really beginning to like them and wanting only good things to happen and the light to shine in this dark story.
I totally enjoyed this series and especially this last installment. I cannot recommend this series and book highly enough. 5 stars just isn't enough for these books. Stupendous job and huge kudos to the author for this series!
“Tears fall freely down my face and even though I’ve now got blood on my hands, I feel no remorse—I feel nothing but relief. I’m free.”
The final and concluding part to this series and finally all is revealed, just who is her captor and what are his motivations? Who is the other and what does he really want? So many questions...Dear Captor sucked me in and spat me out. Her story is filled with so much horror, trauma and misery yet she is a survivor and sees the light in the darkness. Admirable and with a strength to be envied it’s those qualities that awakened something more within her captor and saved her from him and his original plan. Unable to extinguish her unique flame he instead wants to cultivate her heat and burn with her but someone knows, someone has witnessed and wants to end them both. Blood will be spilled but who will survive in the end game?
A game of cat and mouse and more hidden tragedy is exposed as the past unfurls and truths are revealed. Together they are stronger but can they discover who the other is before he brings their house of cards crashing down? This is a story filled with suspense, mystery and heart ache. Can two fractured souls find their warped but perfectly imperfect happy after ever together? A fantastic end to a series that held me captive.
A four and a half star read.

This is the final book in the series and the books need to be read in order.
Elenore Burrows has managed to get free from her captor and from the man who joined in on her torture. She is in the hospital and is recovering from all of her injuries. Soon she learns about her past and everything that has happened to her.
Detective Roman Blackwood is happy that Elenore is finally safe but knows that there is someone out there that is still taking women.
Can Elenore and Roman get to the truth about who is taking the women and why? Will Elenore be able to handle the truth?
OMG!!!!!
So this final book is so full of twists that I had no idea were coming that I was just reading with my mouth wide open the whole time.
I was shocked at who the kidnapper was as that person was not on my radar at all! So from that I could understand Elenore's reaction but I was expecting everything that followed although part of me was.
The second one involved also totally shocked me once again and I had a few people I was wondering about but I was obviously totally wrong.
I loved that the author was able to shock the heck out of me countless times and did it in a way that just totally made sense and didn't come out of nowhere.
The ending was awesome and I really wasn't surprised at where it all ended given everything that had transpired! Such an amazing series!! - By Rebecca
Finally, the third book!!! I have been waiting patiently (not really) for the conclusion to this series. Let me just say, this is the best thriller/ love book I have read in a long time.
Elenore is faced with even more challenges in book 3. Once she escaped her Captor, she thought she was free. Yeah, not so much because there is someone new after her. Someone who is out for blood. Someone who wants to punish Elenore and her Captor.
It’s hard to write this review because I don’t want to giveaway spoilers, but let me just say I was on the edge of my seat. So many shocking secrets revealed in the final book. My mouth was literally hanging open especially when the Captor is revealed. Then another huge twist comes with the copycat killer and whew it’s completely mind blowing. I loved the ending of this story too. This series is amazing, and I enjoyed every suspenseful minute.
I never knew i could a series so quick and still crave more. And i dont know how to put into word what i feel with this books without giving away all of it. But i will try...
With the first book i really think i figure out who the captor was, i believe it and i hate for doing that to her. Making her go through all of that pain physically and again. But this it was worse for her so i hate him for that and more. So f you think you know whoever is you are wrong, so keep ready.
Then come the second book and everything change with that the identity of the captor. The confusion on who is really behind that abduction sink in. But more about Elle past is told, with some of her secret.
And finally the last book, with this book every thing chattered, All Elle secrets is out but most important the identity of the captor. At that point i figured out that all along ''he'' fool me, play with me and like Elle all i want is to forgive him. I can't say more without spoiling the read for you. Just know that Liz Lovelock make it impossible to find out who is behind the mask and i love it.
Suzie, and.... (Can't even write their name) you characters was pure light.

Forever Yours is the third and final book in the ‘Letters in Blood’ series by author Liz Lovelock. This novel is not a standalone, so you will need to read Dear Captor and With Love before beginning this one. I was captivated by the storyline and couldn’t wait to get my hands on the conclusion!
I must tell you; I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the ending. I was a little disappointed in the revelation of the captor. I’m also confused about Eleanor and her feelings. I wish I could discuss them with you, but I do not want to spoil any of the fun for you.
I do think this would be a great series to read with a buddy! It would have been nice to chat about all the twists and turns. Also, just know that this series does not contain a lot of steamy sex scenes. Although, if you enjoy reading dark, gritty and suspenseful stories, then the 'Letters in Blood' series is perfect for you!
My love for Liz Lovelock's gripping series, Letters in Blood, knows no bounds. Each book has left me spellbound and eagerly awaiting the next installment. And finally with Forever Yours, the final book in the trilogy, all loose ends were tied up and the story came to a satisfying conclusion for our protagonist, Eleanore, who had been held captive against her will. After the jaw-dropping cliffhanger of Book 2, I couldn't wait to unravel the answers that were ingeniously revealed in this third installment. But let me tell you, the shocking twists involving the Captor and Copycat had me reeling and gasping in disbelief. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, Lovelock threw a curveball that left my mind spinning and wondering "Seriously? How is that even possible?" But then again, as with any good thriller, anything is possible. In the end, Forever Yours delivered a gratifying finale to an enthralling trilogy, though the true identity of the killer will leave you shaking your head in disbelief and questioning how they managed to deceive everyone until the very end.

Ahhh! So if y'all remember my other two reviews from the other books in the series, this is the third one and sort of blew my mind. I have to admit, I saw one thing coming. But then, I didn't. My mind was blown.
This was an interesting end to the series. I love the grittiness to the end. It was literally the perfect ending to this series. I could not have wished for more.
So we have followed Elenore throughout most of her life. She has had a really shitty one. Then she gets kidnapped by a serial killer. Shit hits the fan and there's not one but two. Who's the second one? What just happened? So many questions!!! And the answers are so shocking!
The resolve was freaking amazing. Throughout all of these books, I have been utterly shocked at Elenore's character. She never ceased to amaze me. She's so strong and brilliant, and she has never given up. Elenore is my kind of girl!
Stop, this is book 3 in a trilogy and they must be read in order.
Forever Yours picks up right where With Love left off. We finally learn who Captor is. Elanore finally gets the pieces to the puzzle to her past. We also get a huge twist on who the other evil player is. That twist shocked me to my core. I can’t say too much as I don’t want to give anything away, but book 3 was well written and tied up all the questions that I had in my head.
Yes, there are areas that I wanted a bit more. Who the new dark player was seemed to be resolved rather quickly, and the way Elanore seems to recover quite quickly shocked me. Overall it was a great series and one that would be a great series for dark fans.
Hero 5 stars / Heroine 5 stars / Steam 5 stars / Plot 5 stars / Overall 5 Stars Keys: Dual POV, MF, Part of a series, Edge of my seat, Dark, Twisted #MSBB - I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book
Answers revealed in the last installment of Letters of Blood series. Now, I won’t reveal them here... however, I did get the serial killer right! Read between the lines and use clues from books 1 and 2 and you will too. Ellie and the Captor get closer and tension between is high. The Captor has struggle between his head telling him to still kill her and his heart that says he loves her and he should let her.
However, there’s something else that will come between the Captor and his prisoner. Emotions are high and choices are made in the conclusion of this dark and twisted series.
Personally, I wanted more from this series. Yes, twists continued to happen and there were “OMG” moments, however there were more “I knew it” moments. Each book was a short, quick read (I finished all three in one day). By the time things heated up and I was beginning to get really into it, it ended. Im still seeking some answers that just won’t be found.
Liz Lovelock has certainly knocked this one out of the ball park. Brilliant conclusion to this terrifying series. Elenore continued to astound me with her resilience, bravery, strength and her capacity to overcome her torturous journey making her, in my eyes, a true survivor. The suspense, thrills and drama surrounding the Dear Captor and the intruder reveal, to put it simply Wow!!! It will grab you by the throat and leave you gasping. This is one story that will make those tiny neck hairs stand to attention whilst anxiously casting your eyes about waiting for that unexplained bump in the night. It will not be easily forgotten as it makes one wonder if they will ever look at another again without questioning what secrets lie hidden behind those smiling eyes.
Well you showed me. I knew if I waited long enough, you would reveal your cards, only I didn’t know what you had in your hand, and it surprised me.
Who knew there was another, not me, not Elenor, and certainly not Captor. He did, what Captor couldn’t. How could you put her through that, hadn’t she suffered enough? Especially as you were also revealing her deadly secrets.
Luckily for her, Suzie and Roman never gave up hope, so I didn’t either. I held onto that hope right ‘till the end.
I was rewarded for my patience and tenacity for hanging in there, and it was an amazing reading experience.
