Home is where the heart is. That’s what I was taught. Until I met her...
We’ve been traveling all over the country, recruiting new members for our club. Before we call it quits, we make a pitstop in Las Vegas. I’m owed a debt and I’ve come to collect. It’s been awhile since I spoke to the President of the Ruthless Kings. And I’m calling in my marker. I figured I’d ask for cash, maybe a few new recruits, arm’s dealer networks, but he said no. That’s fine.
But then I set my sights on her. A blonde bombshell. Yeah, she’s mine. And after I have her, Reaper and I will call it even. We are only here for a few days. Time is not on my side to whisk her away. There are a few problems. I’ve learned every good thing comes with its own challenges. And she’s a good thing. She’s shy, bashful, and won’t let me near her. And the Ruthless Kings are getting in my way. But I’m not leaving without her. It’s a good thing I don’t.
Because another man enters the picture, one that she seems terrified of, and I don’t like to see those doe eyes scared. I’ll slay her dragons and make sure she lives the fairytale she’s always wanted. It’s time take to take my heart home. In Portland.
She might have been my target, but she ended up marking me.
There has yet been a K.L. Savage book I didn’t love. I love the author's MC world. Thrasher is a crossover between Ruthless Kings Vegas and Royal Bastards, Portland, Oregon.
The book starts with a heartbreaking backstory of Thrasher's time in the army. I am just going to say I sobbed like a baby. Then jumps to the present as The Royal Bastards stop in Vegas to visit Reaper.
Thrasher is getting tired of traveling and hookups. He just wants to settle down. When, at the King’s club, Thrasher, instantly attracted to Delilah, Reaper’s Sister. Needless to say, she is completely off-limits.
The chemistry between the two is instant and explosive. Because it is so intense, Delilah freaks out and tries to fight it. Then there is her brother. As much as she loves him and what he has done for her, she still feels like she is stuck in a cage and wants to go on her own.
I love Delilah, how sweet she is, but now we see a different side of her that Thrasher brings out. As Sarah would say,” Thrasher is hot and thumbs up”
We are introduced to a whole New MC Club and some quirky characters. I think Dexter is going to be another fan favorite, or maybe just mine. The author painted a picture of where they live, sounds breathtakingly beautiful. I can’t wait to read more of this series.
KL Savage has started yet another series that I’m already hooked on! Thrasher is a surprisingly sweet hero, and we finally have the chance to get to know Delilah, who until now has been nothing but a mystery. We get to revisit the Reaper and Tool and some of the other Ruthless Kings in this book, though we still don’t have a resolution to the events in Tongue’s Target. Hopefully we find out what happens there soon! In this book we’re introduced to an entirely new cast of characters - the Royal Bastards MC. I freaking love all of them--especially Dexter. I have a feeling he’s going to be the new Tongue for me, and I’m going to obsess about every creepy yet hilarious thing he says and does. I also love the entire dynamic of the Royal Bastards MC--their farm animals, the angry goat and the clubhouse’s Roomba named Alfred (I laughed so hard I cried at that part). This is a great first in the series, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I swear, these ladies could write a grocery list and I would still fawn over it. I am just so utterly OBSESSED and so in love with everything they create!!!
That prologue?! Oh my gosh, so gut-wrenching. Which I know is normal for them, but holy hell I felt allllll the feelings to be felt here. My poor baby.😭😭😭
Now present day, Cameron "Thrasher" and the rest of the Royal Bastard MC are on their way to Vegas to cash in the debt/favor Reaper owes him from years ago. Until he stumbles upon something --someone-- that is worth so much more.
Delilah is still very much carrying her scars around (both literally and figuratively) but is trying to move on with her life and actually live. The only problem is that her recently found brother, Reaper, doesn't want her to have one. Not because he's overbearing and controlling, but because he finally has her in his life (after not knowing about her at all. Side note: we should come up with drinking game and take a shot for every time a surprise family member of his shows up. I love it!!) Anyways, he's being the overprotective brother he never got the chance to be, which is hyped up times 10000 because of all Delilah has gone though. So even though he's a pain in the behind, be has the best of intentions. (Which I loved seeing this side of Jesse again. I've been quite angry at him in the last few books.)
Right away, Delilah and Thrasher have this intense need for one another, which frankly freaks Delilah out. She tries to fight it at first, but Thrasher isn't having any of that. He knows exactly what he wants, and vows to do anything to make her fall in love with him. Hes not even worried about Reaper, he just wants the woman who makes him feel something besides despair.
I love how sweet and shy Delilah is around everyone else, but with Thrasher her attitude comes out in full force, and it's brilliant!! Also their first time together? All the swoon and heat. Just all of it.
I also loved seeing her stand up for herself and take control band of her life. Delilah ends up moving to Portland with Thrasher and his other club members, and they start a beautiful life together. And that's when the mystery really starts!
This book was pretty tame with the revenge/action aspect, which I actually enjoyed. The mystery seems like it'll take a few more books to solve, and that's so exciting! Plus all the new characters?! I love them all! And there's a certain someone that reminds me of Tongue. Another family reunion anyone?!😂😂
I'm so glad I found these amazing women! Y'all need to read these books now!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
Thrasher starts with giving us a crossover with the Ruthless Kings MC - Vegas (also by K.L. Savage) and brings us home to Oregon to see how Thrasher and Delilah form their relationship.
We meet the men of the Portland charter and it is impossible not to fall in love with this series. K.L did an amazing job adding to the RBMC world. Thrasher shows us the long lasting effects that PTSD gives some and how even though doing something asked of you can haunt you forever.
This book was amazing- just absolutely wonderful! It was the perfect way to start this new charter with the Royal Bastards MC. You do not want to miss it!
This book is a standalone and you do not need to read the other series within RBMC or RKMC however, you meet Delilah in A Ruthless Christmas. Reading that story gives you another look into who she is and how she came to be apart of this world. *I would recommend reading all of the Ruthless Kings series if you don't want any spoilers given away from A Ruthless Christmas - should you choose to meet Delilah within that book first :)
I really enjoyed this one more than I thought I would. Don't know why I didn't think I would. This is more of a happy for now ending. You know there has to be more to come.
Cameron or Thrasher as known by his MC brothers is suffering for PTSD. Has for years now. Nightmares are getting worse and has some other bad effects too. He longs for a real relationship but scared at the same time. Planning to move out of the club house and buy his own place he travels to the clubhouse of another MC to s friend who owes him a lot of money and plans to collect. Instead he meets the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Too bad it's Reapers sister.
Delilah is the long lost little sister of Reaper, the MC president of the Kings. She loves her brother but he is suffocating her. He wants to protect her and she feels she needs protection because of what happened to her. She almost died to the hands of a serial killer but got away.
Not going to tell what happens now but just know that frozen bodies are showing up outside the state....
Flasher is book one of K.L.Savage’ new chapter of the Royal Bastards. Flasher is a veteran suffering with PTSD from his time in Afghanistan. After his tour he found the brotherhood he needed with the RBMC. While on a run with his club he decides to stop and collect a debt he is owed from Reaper, the President of the Ruthless Kings MC in Vegas. Delilah is Reapers sister. He and his club nursed her back to health after being kidnapped. She has an instant attraction to Thrasher but her brother has made her forbidden to his brothers and the visiting club. Of course things aren’t going to be that easy. When it comes to light that someone with the same m/o as Delilahs kidnappers is in the area, Flasher vows to keep her safe as his own, wether Reaper likes it or not. You don’t have to read the Ruthless Kings books to read this book but you should because it’s a fantastic series.
Unbelievably amazing crossover. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and catching onto the humor and slight nods to outside influences.
The Royal Bastards MC are, from my understanding, a large group of select authors who get to choose their "chapter" and write their own MC stories. The characters and stories are stand alone but may have "Easter eggs" in each others books.
Thrasher is the first story in the Royal Bastards, Portland, MC from K.L. Savage and my introduction into the RBMC.
Thrasher and his MC have been traveling and have one last stop in Las Vegas. The Ruthless Kings MC, play a part in the story, they have interactions with each other, but you will not feel lost if you have not read any of the Ruthless Kings books.
Thrasher and Delilah are both battling their own inner demons and has the reader rooting for them to not only get together but to help each other conquer that inner turmoil. The difference with this story compared to some other K.L. Savage novels is that drama is mostly inside the characters and not as much from outside sources. I could see the difference with the writing style compared to K.L.s Kings but it does not equate negativity. The opposite is true, this showcases the depth and range K.L possesses.
The overall story was amazing and leaves room for expansion of the Portland chapter of the Royal Bastards MC. I hope to see this grow as the characters and brotherhood was fun to see and there was a slight "what now" at the end.
* * I HAD BEEN GIVEN AN ADVANCED READERS COPY IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW * *
The only reason why this is not getting 5 stars is because I am mad at it... And you won't understand in till you read it, lol.
I was a bit apprehensive about this book from the start because it's another branch off of our king's but it tugs at your hear stings from the start. In true KL fashion they have created this group of rag tag characters.that you want to know more about that you want to see more of.
And in my readers friend group claim them as your own. The emotional push and pull is amazing and I love it how Delilah is torn for various reasons that make you both upset and your heart bleed for her.
Thrasher is broken and feels he is to damaged for people, but his brotherhood is there for him. They relationships and bonds that are created in the pages of this book keeps you turning the pages, also the sex scenes are quite amazing and hot here as well.
I do recommend this book to anyone reading MC books, even if you aren't familiar with the Ruthless Kings Series, this a good intro book to their writing and please check them all out.
Not a lot happens in this one. Sure, they’re in a club but there is zero club business. Really, there is zero angst on every level. Reaper protests their relationship for 2.5 seconds and then it’s fine. I kept waiting for something to happen with the whole organ harvesting/serial killer plot line but... Nothing. This club is a shadow of what the Ruthless Kings are and maybe that’s the direction this author will take this new series, nothing wrong with an MC lite series, just noting it here. I had two nitpicks - H calls h his “flower” and that endearment is not my favorite. Also, there are a lot of men crying in this. Again, not a damn thing wrong with men crying, but we had 3 different men crying and I’d say that was a bit much for an MC club. I’m interested in a couple of the other brothers stories so I’ll still stick around for more.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This book gave the hea but left things unfinished I want to see them get the serial killer and I find Dexter funny I want to see his book there all crazy but who isn't right?
4 1/2 stars Oh boy, what an intense start to this book! My heart just about broke for Thrasher and what he went through, as well as his friends. This is anything but a fluffy book but the word fluffy’ comes up quite often and is such a wonderful contrast, very clever.
After what Thrasher experienced you have to ponder on how real veterans get by each day, it truly makes you wonder about their struggles and hope they have a good support network. That’s what this book does, it’s much more than just a fictional escape because unfortunately, so many people are suffering. This is one of the main reasons for the extra half a star.
Delilah is an interesting character who has a strength that she’s relied upon before and has needed desperately to survive. However, even though she is okay now, she doesn’t settle for being protected and basically coddled, for that I admire her. Together with Thrasher they have great chemistry and much more. Probably at the top of the list is an undoubtable respect for each other.
The mystery, which is the secondary element in the story after the romance, is horrifying and ongoing. It’s extremely intriguing and I desperately want to know what happens. 😆 A very smart tactic by this author.
I loved being back in the Ruthless Kings MC world but equally enjoyed this new Royal Bastards MC chapter. The characters sound so interesting, especially Dexter! I look forward to reading more in this MC series.
This book is so anticlimactic I don't even know what to say. I had to skim through most of the book, which is crazy because it is short, but so much was repetitive. I literally have 2 chapters left to read and I skimmed forward hoping that the action was going to come, and it won't happen in this book. I bought the next book in the series because I was hoping that the questions in this book would be answered, but I'm still trying to figure out whether I even want to finish this book. It was so slow and boring that it took me forever to push through, and I'm a pretty fast reader. *sigh*
I'm disappointed but it looks like others really liked this book. I'm kind of pissed that I spent my Saturday reading this, but I'm going to read another book and then maybe come back to read the last two chapters so I can move on to the next book in the series and see if the questions are answered and the action picks up. I respect the author, but total snooze fest for me. I like my biker books gritty, suspenseful, action packed, or at the very least unique enough to pull me into the story and make me care about the characters. None of those elements were present here for me. The Royal Bastards MC books are hit or miss for me, and so far this one is a miss. I hope it gets better. Stay tuned.
This book was fantastic. I love K.L.’s books. She makes a great addition to the Royal Bastards authors. I can’t wait to see where this series goes in the future. Thrasher and his club have been traveling all over the country. Their last stop is in Vegas so he can call in a favor with Reaper from the Ruthless Kings. He had no idea how his life would change with just one look at Delilah. Delilah is Reaper’s sister. She has been through something truly horrible. But she needs to live her life not be kept in a bubble by Reaper. Thrasher and Delilah have an instant connection. He isn’t going to let her go know that he has found his other half. This was a fantastic crossover. I can’t say enough about it. I love these new characters and can’t wait to read more about them. I am very interested in the villain of this story. I have a feeling it isn’t just one person. K.L. Savage does a fantastic job building these worlds and characters. Congrats on another fantastic book K.L. Savage.
Well, I think I've found a new MC series to love! I received an audio copy to review for my honest opinion and review.
I have been looking for another MC series to fall in love with since the last one I read almost a year ago !
I have no idea where I've been and why none of my book friends have recommended K.L. Savage to me! Thrasher is a vet in an MC club with some PTSD, traveling to Vegas to meet up with a friend in another MC club. It's there that he meets Delilah.
There's some insta love/lust going on between them in between finding out about each of their back stories. Besides the 5 alarm heat level they have, there's also some build up for a continuation of their story and the rest of this MC club.
Without going into any spoiler spills, I'm looking forward to the next book and where the ongoing story leads and who's next to get hit with cupid"s arrow. ** Note, this is a standalone and it does have a HEA.. but there's also set up for the next book.
Ok. So after finishing this book I had to sit and think before writing this review. I have loved this authors other MC series and I think this is a good start to a new MC. I loved both main characters. Delilah and Thrasher were both great and had tragic pasts. I love that it was also instalove. The dialogue between the two was great. It was also HOT! The new members of the Mc have me so Intrigued! And I can’t wait to read some of the others.
The central plot of this book looks like it’s going to carry on into the other books of the series. There wasn’t a lot of drama in this one. It was pretty much a great introduction to these characters and gives us a hint of what each man is like. Some of them have me craving their stories and seeing them get their HEA. I can’t wait to see where this author will go with the main plot. 4 stars #2OCCJD
Another new crew to get to know, and we start with Thrasher. Poor guy has ptsd from his days in the military, but other than that, he's great! He's actually so good to the people he cares about and as far as Delilah, he's really perfect to her. She's actually Reaper's sister and went through something super scary, which it seems will lead into a wild story.
I love how fast paced their love story is. Like almost insta. And I love the setup of the Royal Bastards compound, It's so different. Oh and there's a mean goat there that cracked me up. I'm also super intrigued by all the new characters, and I'm starting to think I need to keep notes and charts to keep track of everyone. Excited to see what's coming up!
I always enjoy KL savage MC books. It took for a while to remember that Reaper has a long lost sister. It was great seeing some of the original characters back especially Reaper. This story was a good one. Thrasher has been through a lot. His story is a touching one but I would of liked more. I feel a lot wasn't touched one. Unanswered. I'm sure the serial killer part is going to last a few novels but I did feel we didn't get enough about Thrasher. I'm not a fan if that insta-love stuff which is this story. They didn't even know eachother a week before her moving to another state with him.
This is the first book in this series by this author. This story follows the characters Thrasher and Delilah. These two characters are fantastic together and both have troubled pasts which they work through together. These two characters have instant chemistry between them. This is a well developed story around these two characters. This book has plenty of heat and action which only helps to keep you hooked till the very last page. A fantastic start to this new series and I can't wait to see where it goes in the future.
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review www.obsessedbookreviews.com
Fast insta everything, i didn't mind it till the end when she asked him for something, i think as a joke, hopefully, but since it's not confirmed i decided to not give another star. I wish it wasn't as rushed, i wished we get to know more about this new members, hopefully we get more of them in the next books. I'm curious about Dexter of course.
This book was so amazing. Thrasher is the latest book in the RBMC series and we get a little Ruthless Kings side action. This book starts out so tragically but when Thrasher meets Delilah, he's a goner. KL Savage did an amazing job with this book and I'm excited to read more.
I loved Thrasher! I always love the first book in a new series or in a new chapter of a series like the RBMC where you get to meet/hear mentions of all the new guys that we’re gonna meet. I love how KL wrote this book as an RBMC and still tied in The Ruthless Kings. Thrasher and Delilah have this instant chemistry. Thrasher has been through so much loss and heartbreak and Delilah is a survivor. I binge-read this book because I couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait to the next book/run to get to read more! K.L. Savage has done it again!
I have read other stories by this author and read the Royal Bastards MC Books.
The way she combines the 2 is great. It’s like getting 2 MC’s for the price of one. When Thrasher sees Delilah its like he got kicked by a bull. And will do anything to have her and to keep her. The problem is Reaper his brother and Prez of the Ruthless Kings MC.
Delilah hasn’t had an easy life up to now, but its lust and love at first sight when she sees Thrasher. They face everything together and are stronger for it.
Warning! You are now entering the world of the Royal Bastards MC Portland!
I couldn't put this book down. From page 1, K.L Savage introduces a brand new world, that also crosses into the Ruthless Kings. This was my first read of the Royal Bastards MC and it has me hooked!
The game of Life has dealt some pretty nasty hands to Thrasher. So much has been taken from him. His backstory nearly broke me.
Life must go on, even when you feel like you can't stand the sight of your own reflection. When the Royal Bastards stop in Vegas for Thrasher to collect on an old debt owed to him by Reaper, could happiness finally be in the cards for him?
Has Lady Luck finally noticed all the sacrifices he has made in the name of his country and his MC family? One look at Reaper's sister Delilah and he is willing to go all in. This is Vegas after all.
3.75 stars-- THRASHER is the first instalment in KL Savage’s contemporary, adult ROYAL BASTARDS MC: PORTLAND OREGON erotic, MC romance series-a spin off / cross over from the author’s RUTHLESS KINGS MC series. This is thirty-one year old, former US soldier Cameron ‘Thrasher’ Clark, and Delilah’s story line.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Delilah and Thrasher) following two time lines, THRASHER focuses on Cameron ‘Thrasher’ Clark as he heads to Las Vegas, Nevada, along with some of the members of the Royal Bastards MC in an effort to call in a marker from Ruthless Kings President Reaper but Thrasher never expected to fall for the President’s sister, the woman who stirs something immediate and deep within our story line hero. Enter Delilah, Reaper’s sister, and the woman with whom Thrasher will fall in love. What ensues is the quick building relationship between Thrasher and Delilah, and the potential fall-out as Reaper struggles to accept that Delilah has found love, and is moving on.
Ten years earlier, Cameron Clark was one of only two survivors of a roadside bomb that killed the members of his army platoon while on deployment in Afghanistan. Fast forward to present day wherein Cameron, now known as Thrasher, struggles with debilitating PTSD, which is exacerbated with his arrival in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Delilah is a young woman who survived an attack by a serial killer, and in this Reaper is over protective of the sister he barely knew but Delilah struggles with her lack of freedom, and Thrasher’s arrival and immediate interest pulls Delilah in another direction, away from her brother, and into the arms of someone else.
The relationship between Delilah and Thrasher is one of immediate attraction; an insta-lust to love wherein Thrasher wants Delilah as payment for a debt ensuring our heroine is the old lady, that calls to his heart. Delilah knows that Reaper will not be happy with Thrasher’s demands but hours within meeting our story line hero, Delilah is ready to move away, and on with her life. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.
We are introduced to a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including most of the members of the ROYAL BASTARDS MC: Portland Chapter, as well as Reaper , Sarah and Tool (Ruthless Kings MC).
THRASHER is a quick read; a fast past story of insta-love between two lost souls looking for someone to call their own. The premise is entertaining; the romance is highly sexual and impassioned; the characters are charismatic and energetic.
The insta love in this was completely unbelievable. The most interesting part of the book was the reference to PTSD and that couldn't save it for me. Stopped reading at like 60%
This was a great story that I enjoyed, and I can't wait for the next book in the series. I was thrilled to finally find out what happened with Delilah, as well as getting to know more about her. It was definitely interesting to meet the members of this chapter of the RBMC . I have a feeling that it's going to be a very unique experience learning more about them. Cameron, aka Thrasher, has seen unimaginable horrors, and lives with PTSD and guilt. He's been through so much tragedy, especially for those who he loves. Hopefully, this newfound love will be the start of what will finally allow both of them to heal, as well as have a wonderful life together, something that they both truly deserve. The reason why I didn't give this a 5 star rating was because there were a few things in the story that seemed to play a significant role, but in the end they were kind of just glossed over or not mentioned again. There was also a lot less depth to this story than this authors usual work. It was more of a highlight of what the story could've been, except for the intimate scenes, those were just as detailed as ever. ;) Don't get me wrong, this was a terrific story that I really enjoyed, and I'm certainly looking forward to reading this series. If you haven't already read the Ruthless Kings MC series, I would highly recommend that you do, as well as the rest of the Restless Underground World novels. It's not necessary, but it will give you a better understanding of the characters (especially a lot in this story), the different clubs/groups, the connections, and the dynamics between them. They're all absolutely fantastic stories that you'll love. I would suggest either searching for the reading order or reading them by the release dates, regardless of which series they're from. Most all of the different series are connected, which gives you even more of all of the awesome characters. You won't be disappointed. This author quickly became one of my favorites after I read the first book in the Ruthless Kings MC series, and I have loved every single book since. I fell in love with the characters, the hilarious banter, crazy antics, as well as their unconventional families. I've noticed a bit of a change since the releases of the new series'/other chapters of the MC, it's nothing major (yet). I'm really hoping that the author stays with quality instead of quantity, because I would much rather have a full and complete story than a bunch of novellas that are nothing more than a teaser with a major cliffhanger. This author is way too talented to end up like a majority of the other authors out there, at least in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.
4 1/2 stars Oh boy, what an intense start to this book! My heart just about broke for Thrasher and what he went through, as well as his friends. This is anything but a fluffy book but the word fluffy’ comes up quite often and is such a wonderful contrast, very clever.

I loved being back in the Ruthless Kings MC world but equally enjoyed this new Royal Bastards MC chapter. The characters sound so interesting, especially Dexter! I look forward to reading more in this MC series.
I think Cameron “Thrasher” Clark has to be one of my favorite characters KL Savage has ever written and that has to be saying something because she's written some damn good characters. He is so sweet and precious. My heart hurts for him for what happened in the prologue and my heart hurts for what Delilah (who is Reaper’s sister) went through too! They were perfect and their love was instant. I loved that they both came alive together was finally able to live their life despite of their past trauma. And I swooned a bit every time he called her Flower.
I thought I was broken, but then I met you.
There’s something here, Delilah. Something real. Something I haven’t felt in years, and I want to know what it feels like when I have it.
“Oh, Flower.” He slams the door to my car and his arms cage me in. “I’m not leaving Vegas without you. Come hell or high water, you’re going to be mine.”
My cheek presses against her chest, her heart strong as it steadily beats. Ba-bum, ba-bum, ba-bum. It’s calming. I haven’t felt this much peace inside myself since… ever.
”You in love with me, Flower?” His finger glides over my knuckles. “Because even though I haven’t known you long, I feel like I’ve known you my entire life, and I’ve never had that before, so when I say I’m in love with you, I fucking mean it.
“I have done nothing in this life to deserve you,” he says, roaming his eyes over my face. “But I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to.”
“Coffee thief.” He bends down, bracing his hands on the arms of the chair and bring his lips to my ear. “Heart thief.”
I’ll never, ever keep you from your family. I’m not that kind of man. Your happiness is my priority. You are my priority.
I can't wait to read the rest of the Royal Bastards MC books, especially Dexter's!!
Thrasher and Delilah’s story is a forbidden union, but Thrasher doesn’t care. He knows that Delilah is for him and he will go to any length to make her his. He doesn’t care if she is the sister of the President of the Ruthless Kings MC and a friend, Reaper. He may have gone to Las Vegas to ask Reaper for the repayment of the favor from years ago.
Delilah is Reaper’s younger sister and a woman that has been through her own tragic days. Now she’s quiet and reserved. However, her strength and sassiness come out when she’s around Thrasher because he makes her blood boil when he’s nearby. In more ways than one.
I loved this story of an ex-soldier and a quiet, scared girl that both find their strength and the one that can repair their hearts and help them to heal. The Royal Bastards of Portland, Oregon have a beautiful compound and they support their community. Portland could be a new start for Delilah, but it could put her in more danger than they are aware of. She’s going nuts being kept under Reaper’s care and not having a life of her own. The Royal Bastard’s will protect Delilah without a doubt and with their lives. Reaper has to learn to back off and give Delilah her freedom and let her live her life. It’s hard for Reaper to let go though, he has only just met her and has so much to make up for. I loved this story, and I cannot wait for more stories of the Royal Bastards of Portland, Oregon. They sound like a great group of brothers. I give this story a 5-star review.
