What was supposed to be a fun birthday trip to Sin City,
Ended up being a whole lot more than I bargained for.
A night filled with drinks leads to an incredible, unforgettable one-night stand.
With. A. Hot. Racecar. Driver.
But the morning after, he disappears and I’m forced to leave with nothing but the memory of his kiss on my lips, an ache between my legs, and a friggin’ wedding ring on my finger.

For months I try to find him while hoping he contacts me,
But nothing but silence follows and I’m left alone and forgotten.
Until out of the blue he shows up at my door, insisting what happened in Vegas is worth pursuing.
We get lost in each other while his PR team handles everything else.
And just when I think things can’t get any better, we get news that rocks us to our core.
It promises us a future we never considered.
Falling madly in love with my husband has never felt so great.
That’s until tragedy hits and it destroys everything we’ve built.
It wrecks me and sends me fleeing.
But the man I married doesn’t give up so easily.
He proves that nothing will stand in the way of us and shows that I’m his forever.

What do you do when you wake up one morning and find you've drunkenly married your hot one night stand? Well, if you're Amelia and Duncan, you're separated for awhile but when you find each other again, you try to give your marriage a shot. Until something threatens to tear them apart, and they have to decide if the fragile relationship they've built is worth the pain.

I loved this story. It had a little of everything - witty humor, steam galore, and, unexpectedly, heart-shredding lows. But through it all, Declan and Amelia persevered and made it through to the other side and found the happiness they deserved. I'm not sure if there are more stories coming in this series, but I hope so because reading this one just made me long for more Taking Chances.

I've read books by this author before and always enjoyed them and this one was no different and I loved the romance, the laughs, the love and steam in this book but also all the emotions that it makes you feel too, wow!! I loved reading this book and thought it was a great installment into the series.

This book is part of the Taking Chances Series book #3 but can also be read as a stand alone too. This book is a beautiful, sweet and flirty, a romance book that also has some twists inside that you wouldn't see coming. Straight away I was hooked and i'm so glad I started reading this series.

Declan is an awesome, sexy guy that is also a racing driver and he is also very sweet and caring deep down. Amelia is a student teacher and is also in Sin City in Vegas for her birthday and wants to have a great time and let her hair down. I love Amelia and how she is, she could totally be you real friend too because she is totally relatable too.

Declan and Amelia have a drunken night of fun in Vegas and some thing happens that has shocked them both. They have actually woke up the next day with a marriage licence, MARRIED!! oh my! They just don't remember how, where what sort of thing and are so confused about how it actually happened. That morning after nipping out of the room Declan comes back and she's gone, Amelia has left the room. Declan was thinking about the annulment but then decided maybe not after all, but will everyone agree? They both have some miscommunication and are both thinking the opposite to what the other is thinking. They have no way of getting in touch with each other and Amelia feels totally screwed. This romance is a total will they wont they and does start of as a slow burn romance but life grips hold of them both and takes them both on the ride of there lives.

The journey that these two go is a will they wont they and after some things keep getting in the way, will life and maybe fate help them to find there way together for there very own HEA. I love how this author writes her characters and these two were awesome together. I loved seeing Declan and how he fought for what he wanted and Amelia letting her guard down slightly and I feel they were truly meant to be, the connection the chemistry were of the charts and I loved them both together. The emotions in this book were also of the charts love, sadness and heartbreak, wow, it has all the feels and it totally made my heart ache inside my soul and I loved the shockers too. I really couldn't put this book down right up until the end these two I think are maybe my faves they were awesome together. I love the way that this author writes and her style and she has totally knocked it out the park with this book it will grip a hold of you and pull you in until your completely hooked. I will defiantly look out for her books in the future. This author really knows how to help the reader be fully invested in the story and completely connected with the characters and to feel the emotions that this book brings out in you is beautiful and this book is a great installment in this series. This book can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the others to because they are awesome.

This book is expected to be released on 30th June 2020.

♥️🌼”You‘re My Somebody”🌼♥️
I know I say this after every book she writes.......But, of the three books in TC Matson’s Taking Chances series, SLIP UP may be my favorite...Declan was introduced in book one, and I don’t think any of us were ready to let him go...I mean...I knew Brooklyn, obviously, belonged with Nathan, but I liked Declan, a lot....♥️🌼
So..Declan Palmer is a racer...He’s hot, famous, and just a really decent guy, and Declan is at the top of his game...and he’s not EVER looking to get married...until Amelia...♥️🌼
Amelia Rossi is a college student and aspiring teacher just trying to enjoy a “last hurrah” party in Las Vegas....After an alcohol-filled weekend, Declan and Amelia wake up with a marriage license, wedding rings, and the memory of the best sex of their lives....they just have no memory as to how or when a wedding took place....Obviously, they should probably just get it annulled.....but...maybe they shouldn’t....Before he lets Amelia go, Declan really needs to see why he married her...Trouble is...when he comes back to his room after getting some breakfast, Amelia is gone...and he doesn’t know how to find her.....♥️🌼
And then there’s Norman....Don’t even get me started on Norman...I mean where’s a good sniper when you need one??♥️🌼
SLIP Up is sweet, sexy and funny....but I cried too....TC Matson has given us another hot couple, another good story and another good book...♥️🌼

This was my first time reading one of TC Matson’s books, it definitely won’t be my last.
Slip up is the third book in her Taking Chances series and tells the story of Declan and Amelia... they meet during a drunken night in sin city and somehow ended up married although neither of them remembering marrying. Surely the sensible thing to do now is get an annulment...Or maybe this crazy whirlwind marriage might just be perfect for both of them?

I loved the characters, especially Declan, he has the most sweetest and caring personality. As much as I liked Amelia I did feel she could have made a little more of an effort to fit in with Declan’s racing and she really annoyed me with the way she cut him off mid way through the story, when she knew without a doubt had she told him what was going on he would have dropped everything to be by her side. Once she got over that I was back to loving them both!

Slip up is a sweet, funny story. Easy reading although also some sad parts. Definitely worth reading, I can’t wait now to have a look at some more of this authors books

Slip Up by T.C. Matson a five-star read that you will slip and fall for. This is number three in the Taking Chances series and they are stand-alone stories, and this one is my favourite of the series, Declan and Amelia are just fated to be together, no matter what. We all know what happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas, but when you meet someone as delicious and hot as Declan Palmer would you be able to leave that behind, I know I wouldn’t. This one truly has it all, there is laughter, sweetness and some romance that will steam your glasses, there is heart and drama and sadness that we don’t often talk about, I’m not going to reveal what that sadness is, just that it made me sob so hard as it was dealt with so well, aggghh so, so well. There are so many amazing moments in this story, Declan proves why he is the golden boy on every page.

Slip Up is book 3 in the standalone Taking Chances series; a romance with a side of heartbreak.

Amelia was spending her 21st birthday in sin city, but when she wakes up married to a very sexy race car driver things don’t go as planned. Declan has strong views about marriage, he doesn’t know what made him finally tie the knot but when he gets back to his room to find out she is nowhere to be found. Continued interference stops them from finding each other, when Amelia and Declan find their balance the unthinkable happens leaving their future hanging by a thread.

I personally LOVED this story; it was swoon worthy and it was also heartbreaking. Matson is a new to me author and she had me hook line and sinker. I cannot wait to get my hands on more from Matson in the future.

I am totally swoon by this book. Declan is the kinda guy that will knock you right out of your socks. I just adore his character. Amelia is the kinda girl you just want as your best friend. When they meet in Vegas sparks fly and a drunken marriage is the result. The way Declan is trying to win her heart over is swoon worthy to the max. There are some twists within the story that will make you gasp and cry at the same time.
TC Matson is one of my favorite authors. Her books always manage to suck me right in where I just have to finish the book right away. Her strong characters are a huge draw. The stories are written beautifully with a lot of depth and attention to detail. Another amazing book by one incredible author.

What do you do when you end up marrying your one night stand in Vegas? In the case of Amelia and Declan, you start dating to figure out what it was that drew you to each other, lol. And the more time they spend together the more a real relationship grows between them. I love how Declan is all in from the beginning and does everything he can to show Amelia that he’s in this for the long haul.
Their relationship might not have had a typical start but they truly found their happily ever after:)

Slip Up is book three in the Taking Chances series and can be read as a standalone. This is Declan and Amelia's book. Starting out you think it's your typical waking up in Vegas married, but it's not everyday you drunk marry a race car driver and have to deal with his insufferable or manager. I would definitely recommend some tissues while reading this book. I hope Kristen and Milo get their own story. I know it'll amazing.

I have loved every single character that TC Matson comes up with, and I'm sure I'll say this every single time, BUT i LOVED Declan! How could a girl not fall hopelessly in love with a romantic driver like him. This book brought out all the feels, even a few tears slipped. These two together may of had a bit of a different start, but holy are they good together.

Declan and Amelia's story if full of emotions, pain, romance, love, and will have you smiling, bring you tears and make you fall for them. Another amazing read that I didn't want to end. It pulled at my heart and broke it a little and had my head spinning from one page to the next. I can't wait to read what she has next.

Slip Up is the third book in the Taking Chances series but can be read as a complete standalone because none of the characters in the previous two books are mentioned. It’s an accidental marriage romance, which are one of my favourites because the couple have no choice but to see where their relationship goes, and 9/10 they have insane chemistry from the offset.

Amelia and Declan meet in Vegas on Amelia’s 21st birthday and wake up the next morning married. Declan is a racing driver, and when he disappears to get breakfast, a member of his team kicks Amelia out. Both believing the other didn’t want them anymore, Amelia goes home and back to her normal life. Her parents are very religious, so when she’s home she doesn’t know what to do, especially with no way of contacting Declan to get an annulment. However, when Declan finally gets her details, he arrives at her door and they realise what happened, and he’s willing to make their relationship work, because as a self-confessed anti-marriage believer, there must have been something about Amelia that made him marry her. They agree to take it slow, and date when Declan’s in town, but their relationship quickly continues the way it starts, in a whirlwind. When Declan invites Amelia to the track, she feels disconnected from his world, and when atraumatic event occurs, she pushes him away. Will Declan be ready to fight for her, and prove that their love is true, or will everything they’ve built come crashing down around them?

This is only my second book by TC Matson and I really enjoyed it. I love how quick it was to read, but that doesn’t mean you don’t feel a connection to the characters, because I was so invested in this couple, I was rooting for them from the start. Declan has always believed people leave (hello, Peyton Sawyer) and when he found Amelia gone that day, believed he’d imagined the connection he thought they’d had. My heart felt for him, but once he found out the truth, at no point did he stop fighting for the girl that turned his world upside down. Amelia made him rethink everything he ever believed about love, and their connection was so pure, I loved them together. He was living his dream and didn’t realise something was missing until he met her, and then his life felt complete. Amelia was scared about her strong her feelings were for Declan after only one night together and when she was asked to leave, was sure she’d just fallen for his playboy ways. When he comes to her house, and admits he wants to try to make their marriage work, she is so happy, but still slightly hesitant due to their difference in lifestyle. But Declan introduces her to so much and pushes her out of her comfort zone, and he’s there holding her hand every step of the way. They were a super sweet couple who were trying to navigate their relationship with many obstacles along the way. My heart broke for them both at one point, it was a truly terrible event that so many couples experience, and my only criticism is I wish that it had maybe been highlighted more, but I don’t want to give away any spoilers so that’s all I’m going to say. However, the ending was perfect, I was so happy with their HEA.

Overall, this was a great accidental Vegas wedding romance which was full of sweet and steamy moments, a lot of love and learning to trust each other. There were some moments of heartbreak, but in the end, there was hope too, because as a couple you can learn to lean on each other during difficult times and help each other through them. A great end to this series of standalones!

Slip Up is the last book in the Taking Chances series and it is was definitely a save the best for last read!
Declan is a race car driver, at the prime of his career and follows his heart, so when he wakes up after a drunken night in Vegas married to the woman next to him not remembering how it happened he knows his heart must have chose her for a reason. Amelia went to Vegas to celebrate her 21st Birthday with her best friend not expecting to wake up married next to the best one and only night stand ever.
Due to certain circumstances, she leaves without a word. Once they find each other they decide to give the relationship a try and start having feelings for each other, while learning about one another through a long distance relationship. Their relationship might have started out backwards, but they are working on it and each day they are falling in love with the other, but Amelia is scared that she won't fit into Declan's life and Declan is doing all he can to prove he will always choose her and their relationship. They have a lot of obstacles to overcome, interference from outside people who don't want the relationship to last, some very emotional tragedies that can make or break them, their own personal ideas of what types of futures they had planned for themselves and now how do they fit into each other's lives. Declan is an amazing character and he never gave up. He always followed his heart from the beginning and knew what he wanted, and he wanted Amelia! TC did an amazing job with this book and this one was definitely my favorite of the series.

Okay so Declan is a hot, sexy, swoon-worthy racing driver and he's definitely my new bbf.
Slip Up captured my heart from the very first page. He and Amelia were the perfect match even if everything did happen backwards.
A weekend in Vegas catapulted into a drunken wedding for Declan and Amelia. The next morning they are forced to part but is this really the end or will they fight for their forever love.

A fantastic story and for me a first from TC Matson but I can guarantee that I will be reading more in the very near future.

DNF/Skimmed Title after 20%

This one just...didn't work for me. I had trouble with the premise of the book, and it never resolved itself enough for me to be able to invest in the story (hence the skimming of this one, to see if there was a better...or even a logical...explanation for the premise) and there just wasn't one that worked for me.

Honestly, being stuck in not believing the way this one started stuck with me enough that it pulled me out of the enjoyment of this title.

I am unable to recommend this title.

This was a sweet sexy feel good story! Declan is simply swoonworthy and Amelia was immediately likeable someone I could be friends with.
They had a completely unconventional and backward start were immediately thrown for a loop and then a crash into devastation.
Their story made me smile, nearly brought me to tears and warmed my heart.
Guess what ladies? There are sweet, hot men who would do anything for the love of a good woman out there. May I introduce Declan Palmer!!

Heartbreak to happiness.

He races trucks professionally and she's working toward her BA to become an elementary school teacher. They meet in Vegas while she's celebrating her 21st birthday. They really click, they over imbibe, and they wake up and turn over in bed...married. Oddly enough, They decide not to split up.
Read the story and find out how sweet he is through their trials to their HEA.

We met Declan during Hook Up when Brooklyn attended a speed dating event. He was great, but not a love connection for Brooklyn. This is Declan's story. It starts as a got married, while drunk in Vegas story, but developed into something more deep than than. Good read.

I’ve made an effort to read more books by authors that are new to me when the synopsis grabs my attention, and that was the case for Slip Up. This is the third title in the Taking Chances series, but I didn’t feel like I missed anything by not having read the previous two books in the series.

Slip Up is an emotional, sweet and sexy romance. A trip to Vegas to celebrate her twenty first birthday, leaves college student Amelia, with way more than she expected.

When Declan, a professional and famous race car driver finds himself married after a drunken night he’s inexplicably drawn to Amelia. He’s also dedicated, professional, sweet and caring and not afraid to go after what he wants.

The banter is witty, flirtatious, and fun, but also quite heartfelt at times.

This pair of characters are endearing, their story fast paced, and engaging and I won’t hesitate to pick up other titles by TC Matson.

Declan Palmer, hot racecar driver and one swoony AF man. Boy, do I wish men really existed like Declan. I need one in my life lol. Slip Up is book three in the Taking Chances series and definitely my favorite. Their story goes to show that “What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Sometimes it follows you home and makes you fall in love.”

Declan and Amelia meet in Vegas, have a one-night stand, and what? Wake up MARRIED. That’s right...MARRIED! Declan has always had very strong beliefs against marriage, so he is all in on figuring out why Amelia made him jump in with both feet. These two are absolutely perfect together.

This story is my favorite kind of story because it has every feeling imaginable. There’s lots of laughs and love, tons of steamy sexiness, heartache and finally, that happily ever after we all crave. Slip Up straight up hit me in ALL my feels. TC Matson will grab you by the heartstrings on the first page and won’t let go until the last. Love, love loved it!

Sexy, Sweet, Heart Wrenching...three words that immediately come to mind about Declan and Amelia’s story. A marriage that begins in the most non traditional of ways, leads to a love story you could only dream about. Declan is a dream, the way he treats Amelia and works to make their relationship what he wants it to be is enough to make anyone swoon. Amelia will make your heart ache as you feel how torn and confused she feels throughout this book. I picked up this book and did not put it down until I finished every last word!

"Free falling. Head over heels. I knew I loved him, but this? This feels to powerful to contain, like trying to lasso a tornado."

5 Marry Me Stars!!! TC Matson has hit it out of the park again!!!!

Amelia is in Vegas celebrating her 21st birthday, and she's having the time of her life. Until she wakes up the next morning and realizes she's married. Declan is a race car driver he never wanted to get married, he just didn't believe in it. When he wakes up the morning after their marriage, he leaves to get breakfast. While he's gone Amelia is kicked out of the room by one of his team members and they both assume that neither wanted to be together. Declan isn't one to let things go, and realizes if he married this girl there must be something there. He finds her, tracks her down and agrees to start dating her so they could maybe figure out if there's something there. But alas, all good things have bumps in the road... can they survive this?

Look TC Matson is one of my go to authors and Slip Up is the exact reason why she is. She puts her heart and soul into her books and you can feel it, especially in this one! You can't help but root for Delan and Amelia, two complete opposites, but somehow you want them to work out!! The story will give you the warm and fuzzies... and you'll fall in love too!

I simply love the emotional roller coaster ride I go on when authors write about the drunken Vegas marriage that neither party remembers, I can't get enough though I feel things that the heroines feel. Amelia Rossi is a student teacher who is in Vegas to celebrate her birthday before adult life takes over. She ends up hooking up with Declan Palmer, a race car driver who is successful, hot, and famous. She wakes up the next morning to realize that she's married, and her groom is gone. She doesn't know how to get a hold of him so she goes home very upset. At that moment in time, Declan didn't know how to get a hold of Amelia either since she's gone when he gets back to the room. This journey of theirs was full of miscommunication, angst, a intense push & pull, and a lot of heat. How will Declan & Amelia navigate these uncharted waters?! Hit those one click buttons to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Amelia is in Vegas and meets Declan and they fall hard for each other and end up hitched. But he disappears on her and she goes back home. She wants to get an annulment and tries to contact him but he is a famous race car driver and so his manager keeps them apart.

Until he finds out she is looking for him and he realises he wants her and so they start dating each other. I absolutely loved this story. For me it was very much like a fairytale. He is rich and the prince of racing. He is very much in lust with his missing wife and when he finds her nothing will stop him from winning her heart.

I LOVED Declan. He was such a sweetheart and he is all in with Amelia. Amelia is a sweetheart and she has such a really great heart. I kinda hated the manager and how he treats Amelia. But I adored this story. It was absolutely wonderful.

Such a fun, feel good story! I absolutely LOVED these characters and was hooked from the second I started reading. I seriously couldn't put this book down because I had to know how things were going to work out.

Declan and Amelia meet in Vegas, but what happens in Vegas has a hard time staying there when you drunkenly marry and famous race car driver!

The two have such great chemistry and the writing is great! This was easily able to be read as a standalone without reading the other books in the series, however, I am excited to get my hands on those now as well.

A must read book for sure!

T.C. Matson is a genius.

A character genius. A romcom genius. And (my personal favorite) a get-you-hooked-on-the-very first page genius. Seriously, she has the best "chapter ones" of any author I've ever read, and Slip Up was no exception.

Every book in this series just gets better and better, every new couple is my favorite, and DECLAN IS MY BOOK BOYFRIEND SO Y'ALL NEED TO BACK OFF.

This was a witty, sweet, steamy, and utterly perfect read. I dare you to start this story and not fall head over heels within the first few pages (and if this is your intro to Matson's work: yes, they really are all this good.)

So happy to have finally gotten Declan's story. Declan is a man who doesn't believe in marriage. His ex left him after deciding she couldn't handle the long time apart due to his racing. He meets Amelia in Vegas. They have an amazing night together and end up getting married. A fact neither of them remember the next day. Declan is determined to figure out what was so special about Amelia to make him disregard everything he believes in. He wants to give their relationship a real try. Will he be able to convince Amelia to give them a real go? This was a great addition to the series. I hope we get Milo and Kirsten next she was hilarious!
