Evie Baxter-Jones has never been impulsive… Until the night she goes online to buy a new bathrobe, and winds up the proud owner of a bed and breakfast on Cape Cod. She’s hoping life in Sweetbriar Cove will be a fresh start away from the sympathetic smiles she’s been getting, ever since she was widowed before her thirtieth birthday. She’s not expecting to find a town full of quirky locals, the Inn in desperate need of repairs — or for her handsome new neighbor to make her heart beat faster in her chest. When he’s not driving her crazy with his playboy ways, that is…
Local firefighter, Noah Montgomery, isn’t looking to put his heart on the line. He’s sworn to keep his life simple and drama-free, until the new owner of the Beachcomber Inn arrives in town, and makes him think twice about his solo plans. Evie is beautiful, captivating - and stubborn as hell. She’s determined to get the Beachcomber Inn up and running again, and Noah is just being a good neighbor by lending a hand…
At least, that’s his story, but as the pair grow closer, the sparks between them are impossible to ignore. Soon, the summer is heating up with a passion Evie never saw coming. She knows heartbreak all too well, but can Noah convince her to take a chance on love again? Or will the tragedies of the past keep them from their new forever?

Evie needs a fresh start after recently being widowed and struggling to adjust to being alone again. On impulse one night she buys an inn by the sea for the princely sum of $1. The description sounds amazing and just what she needs to get away from her old life. The reality when she arrives in Sweetbriar Cove and takes in the Beachcomber Inn is not what she expected.
The lovely outlook is great but the inn is in major disrepair, needing a heck of a lot of TLC. Evie soon discovers that living in a small town means everyone knows everyone’s business. This works to her advantage when she is looking for help to restore her inn back to its original glory, in fact there plenty of people willing to share the dream she has for the place.
And then there is Noah Montgomery. The gorgeous local firefighter who first met Evie the night she arrived - drunk dancing in her underwear. Needless to say, the night has been etched in their memories for very different reasons, Evie was embarrassed and Noah was simply enjoying the unexpected show.
Evie finds herself bumping into Noah more than she expected to and when he asks her to help him out of a sticky situation with an ex she finds herself enjoying the flirtatious banter. Noah can feel something there with Evie and even though he knows he could find himself heart broken once again, he thinks she is worth the risk. It takes a bit of convincing but eventually Evie admits she has feelings for Noah too.
Being with Noah is a different experience for Evie, he is nothing like her late husband and she enjoys the excitement of being in a new relationship. Noah is feeling similar things, he can really see a future with Evie in his life and it gives him a lot of hope of what could be.
When a reminder from the past comes crashing back into Evie’s life, she realises that she needs to take a step back and think about what she really wants. Things are going well with the renovation and even more so with Noah. It all feels too good to be true and a bit of guilt and doubt begins to gnaw away at her happiness. Noah cannot imagine his life without Evie and he will do whatever it takes to convince her that what they have is worth fighting for.
This was a great addition to the Sweetbriar Cove family of novels. This is the first in the new Beachcomber Inn series and I found it to be a great low angst weekend or holiday read :)
Forever Summer is the latest romance novel from author Melody Grace that is sure to leave readers swooning and with a smile on their face.
Forever Summer follows the story of Evie and Noah. Looking for a fresh start, Evie finds herself the new owner of the Beachcomber Inn. Noah and Evie are no strangers when it comes to heartache and only time will tell if they’re willing to put their hearts on the line…
Forever Summer is just the read I was looking for to put me in the Summer state of mind. Forever Summer kicks off the Beachcomber Inn Series and what a great start to this series it is! The characters are fun and relatable. The storyline is intriguing and will suck readers in instantly. Noah and Evie have amazing chemistry and I loved all of their interactions. They shared so many wonderful will they/won’t they moments. Both Noah and Evie are no strangers to heartbreak and are both afraid to fall in love again. I loved how well they got each other and how real the author made them. They are the kind of characters you can easily find yourself rooting for.
Forever Summer is a quick and heartwarming read. It’s definitely a read that you can finish in a single sitting. I fell for the characters and their stories right away. I loved all of the cameos from the Sweetbriar Cove Series and am excited for more in the Beachcomber Inn Series.

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
It’s always a special treat to return to Sweetbriar Cove to catch up with old friends and meet some newcomers as well. Forever Summer begins the Beachcomber Inn series of stories set within one of my favorite fictional towns of Sweetbriar Cove. Noah and Evie weren’t looking for anything romantic, they’d both experienced loss and aloneness, each guarding their emotions in their own way. Yet Evie’s new life began with a spur-of-the-moment purchase of an older B & B for only one dollar. Certainly, there had to be a huge catch but it felt right to be taking the risk. And there was a catch, bringing the Beachcomber Inn back to its former glory wasn’t going to be an easy or inexpensive task but all it took was one night spent in that house, one sorta drunk dance in her undies, and one completely unexpected visitor to have Evie thinking of possibilities.
Evie had been widowed young. Noah has recently been dumped by his not quite bride. Neither was actively looking, yet neither could deny the obvious attraction between them. Oh, they tried but eventually, with the help of one pretend boyfriend/girlfriend moment neither could deny the chemistry behind that kiss. It was a fun, at times sexy, always enjoyable journey as we watch two stubborn and hurt people work their way toward each other. Unfortunately, Evie’s past will make a surprise appearance leading her to make an emotional decision that she will soon regret but won’t back down from.
Forever Summer is emotional, funny, and just the type of story that draws the reader into this world. We’ll meet up again with some of the Sweetbriar Cove residents, meet new secondary characters, and watch as two people almost lose each other over a fear of the future. I’ll admit that although I understood Evie’s reaction at one point, at the same time I wanted to sit her down for a serious conversation. I liked Noah and Evie individually, but especially as a couple. Now it’s time to wait for the release of Simply Irresistible, which is Evie’s best friend, Jules’ story.
I had a blast back in this world, and if you love a feel-good, small-town (gossips and all) romance with likable, believable characters… then you need to pick up Forever Summer, right now.

It feels so good to be back in Sweetbriar Cove, with the locals gossiping about someone's love life, it feels like you have been on a vacation and just returned home.
this is book one in the Beachcomber Inn chapters, this is all about Evie and Noah.

When Evie arrives at her new home she realises that its a bit more than a little TLC it needs, but she is the proud owner and will make this work, so while drowning her sorrows, in walks one of the local firefighters Noah Montgomery, just there to check she had everything she needed.

As always Melody leaves you wanting more and reading the Epilogue I cant wait for Jules story, it looks like Reeve is going to be sexy and broody!
Did you fall in love with ‘SweetBriar Cove’? I did, now, still within SweetBriar, we move onto a new series, ‘Beachcomber Inn’, and oh what a start it was. Melody Grace has started my spring of with a smile on my face and bounce in my walk. Step back into the Cove, feel the sun on your face as you meet Evie Baxter-Jones the new owner of the Inn. Well, to be fair it isn’t much of an Inn when she first sees it, but nothing will deter her from making a success out of this impulse $1 buy. Not even Noah Montgomery, local firefighter, and hotty, who has just returned to town and who awakens something in Evie that she thought she would never feel again her husband passed away.
’They were meant to find each other, to heal the past with a new hope’.
Noah isn’t sure what the connection is he has with Evie, having recently come out of a relationship he is more the one night type of guy since he came back home, the only trouble is he now can’t get this woman out of his head. Sometimes letting go of the past is easier said than done!
4.5 Stars We return back to Sweetbriar Cove with a new adventure at the Beachcomber Inn. I just gobbled up this book. I loved Evie and Noah so much. They are both souls that are need of healing and fresh start in Sweetbriar Cove. Evie's fresh start is not going as planned, but it may be just what she needs. Noah is copping with a playboy lifestyle until the new Inn owner comes to town. One of my favorite parts of the book is the banter between Noah and Evie. First impressions were not so great, but as these two get to know one another there is an undeniable pull between them. I loved watching the Inn get renovated to it's former glory. Plus all my favorite cast of characters from Sweetbriar Cove pop in and out. That made me all giddy. This is a make you feel good romance that just makes your romantic heart happy sigh. It made me laugh and cry with it's humor and feels. I loved Evie's friend Jules. The tease we got makes me so eager for the next book!
Starting a new series about Sweetbriar Cove is always exciting. The B & B is in the need of a major facelift and lots of TLC to get it back to its old glory once again. Evie Baxter-Jones, also, needed a new start after the sudden death of her young husband. For the price of one dollar, Evie decided this was what she needed to do to begin her future. Arriving at the Beachcomber Inn, Evie never dreamed the love, help, and concern that would occur from her new friends and neighbors. Meeting Noah Montgomery, a local fireman, the first night, would be the beginning of many emotional interactions. Both Noah and Evie need to work out their past losses to begin building on their life. Tragedies of the past hinder their new forever. This is a beautifully written book and many friends and favorite residents from Sweetbriar Cove make the story a perfect read. Loved it!
Melody Grace has once again penned a sweet, heartwarming love story that will melt your heart. With Forever Summer, Ms. Grace begins a new phase in her Sweetbriar Cove series at the Beachcomber Inn.
Having suffered a great loss two years ago, Evie is searching for a place to begin anew without all the memories appearing around every corner. So when an unexpected opportunity presents itself, Evie decides to take a chance and move to Sweetbriar Cove. Noah returned to his hometown about a year ago after suffering heartbreak and loss of his own. Since his return, all his relationships have always been nothing more than casual dalliances. But when their worlds cross paths, both Noah and Evie begin to feel a connection neither of them ever expected. Will they fight their feelings and underlying fears and give in to the love they both deserve and have found in each other’s arms?
Forever Summer is simply magical. With each return back to Sweetbriar Cove, Melody Grace delivers spectacular stories of love and family, emotional moments and unforgettable characters. Each time I return, I feel as though I’m coming home to family and friends. I look forward to new Beachcomber Inn stories and Ms. Grace’s memorable tales of love and romance.
Get ready to swoon, and cheer on this amazing couple Noah and Evie! Great start to a new series and I can't wait to read more! 5 beach stars for this one!
Evie is looking for a fresh new start in her life, when she comes across an ad to buy the Beachcomber Inn for one dollar, too good to be true right! When she walks in and see's the disarray the Inn is in and how much work she has cut out for her, she wonders if this was the right move to make.
Noah, back in town after leaving Nashville behind, still trying to move on from his past. When he see's Evie for the first time, dancing in the Beachcomber in, he's taken immediately!
Sit back, relax and enjoy their story, and laugh and get caught up with the rest of the crew from Sweetbriar Cove!
Forever Summer is book 1 in the Beachcomber Inn series, which goes along with the Sweetbrier Cove series that we already know and love by Melody Grace. This book starts off the new series with a newcomer to Sweetbrier Cove. I fell in love with Evie and how she dove head first into her impulsive decision to buy the Beachcomber Inn. She danced her way right into my heart as well as Noah’s, the sexy firefighter she fought to avoid. I loved watch all our favorites come together to welcome Evie and help bring this disaster back to life. This book will warm your heart and put a smile on your face! I can’t wait for more!
Forever Summer by Melody Grace “Starting over, 5 stars”
If you're looking for a story about two people starting over, then look no further. Evie and Noah both deserved a HEA, and Grace definitely gave them that. Forever Summer by Melody Grace is a sweet and charming story about finding love when you least expect it. Evie is a widow struggling with her new normal. On impulse, she decides to buy an inn and start fresh. Imagine her surprise when she finds out what exactly it means to live in a small town. Add in the local firefighter she keeps running into, Noah, and life is definitely getting more interesting. I loved watching Evie and Noah get to know each other and fall unexpectedly. They were great characters and their story delightful! I am excited to read more of this series.
Forever Summer by Melody Grace is book 15 in the Sweetbriar Cove and book 1 in the Beachcomber Inn Series. Evie is the new owner of an inn, the male lead is Noah, a firefighter, his hotness isn't bad either. He's helping Evie renovate her inn and soon their chemistry is pretty high. Forever Summer is an entertaining read, well wriiten, with easy to connect with characters. I enjoyed reading this book, 4,5 stars.
Starting over for Evie began with buying a rundown inn for one dollar. Yes, one dollar. She lost her husband and needed her fresh start, but she wasn't expecting to find Noah. Each of them have experienced loss and are learning to love again all while Evie is remodeling her new inn. The characters bring this small town romance to life and Sweetbriar Cove is the perfect small town. Wonderfully written this book melted my heart in all the right ways. A great, sweet summertime romance.
This book is about mending all the broken pieces. Noah & Evie meet during a time in their lives when they are both trying to move on from their heartbreaking past. Evie has moved to all new things to start over her life. Noah is masking his painful past with endless women. That all starts to changes the night Noah catch’s Evie dancing in her underwear. This book is the perfect book to curl up to read. These characters are all so wonderful. It definitely a must read.
Always lovely to return to Sweetbriar Cove. Recently widowed Evie needed a fresh start and there is no better place to do so. Sparks fly with her and Noah and even though he wants to keep his life uncomplicated he gets tangled with Evie. You will love this second chance story and fall in love with Noah and Evie!
The sexy Firefighter Noah and the loveable B and B owner Evie will have you falling in love all over again with the quirky townsfolk of Sweetbriar Cove as we follow their wonderful journey to HEA at the Beachcomber Inn. Melody Grace writes the perfect feel good romance that always leaves a smile on my face and has me cheering for more.
Love, love, love this story of Evie and Noah. Both struggling with their past, but open yet ambivalent to finding love again. As always friends and the small town rally for one of their own. Looking forward to Jules story. ❤️❤️
A perfect idea for a meet-cute plot, the fantasy of buying an ocean-side B&B and falling in love while renovating it to its former glory. This was an especially sweet addition to the series with a lot of depth and heart.
I have loved all her stories! I can not wait for the final 2 books to release this year! They are perfect love stories, and you cant help but to root for all the characters!
