Daimon

As Treasurer of the Untamed Sons MC, I don't have time to deal with a bratty kid. Briella is nineteen. I'm thirty-one. I'm too old for her tantrums, but I'm sure there's something more to her acting out than a late teenage rebellion. When I look in her eyes, I see her demons glaring back at me, and I want to know who put them there. I shouldn't be thinking about her at all, but I'm willing to stand against my club brothers and break vows I've made to keep her, but first I have to uncover what she's hiding.

Briella

I've got darkness in my past that I can no longer keep buried. When Daimon finds out the truth, he's going to drop me and run. I shouldn't be falling for my brother's best friend, but I can't stop my feelings from growing. I want him. No, I need him. He's becoming my everything and I have no idea how to be without him.

But that choice might not be mine. Once he finds out the truth about me, he's going to walk away because the truth is I'm broken, I'm damaged and my past is coming back to haunt me.

Another hit in this series! I loved Daimon from the previous books, and we’d been briefly introduced to Briella, Levi’s sister, as well. Who would have thought they’d be perfect for each other!?
I really loved Briella’s character quite a bit. She’s dealing with a lot, and she is clearly developing a substance abuse (alcohol) problem as an unhealthy way of coping. It’s absolutely adorable how much Daimon cares, despite telling himself that he doesn’t, and it turns out that his love is just what the doctor ordered! (Ugh, why am I so cheesy?)
Aside from a few questions regarding timelines, the book fits perfectly in with the others in the series (the timelines are not 100% consistent with the previous books, which I might not have noticed and gotten confused about had I not read these immediately one after another).
4 stars.

I knew this would be my favorite so far and I was right. The tropes were on point and the characters actually had intense chemistry.

Daimon has known Briella for over 2 years after her brother Levi joined the MC, so these two have been around each other and to me it was not insta-love/lust. These two have the hots for each other but neither ever says anything or does anything to let the other know until Briella is seen drunk out of her mind and almost being sexually assaulted by a guy at the club. Daimon saves her and this starts a chain of events that leads to everyone finding out WHY Briella is on a destructive path.

She drinks every day at any hour, and she consumes it to numb the pain she feels. The reader can instantly figure out what happened and to me it was so obvious. She was raped and I also knew instantly who it and it had done was Sin. The same Sin who raped Sasha in book 1 but is dead thanks to the MC taking care of him BUT Briella not being in the MC completely has no idea that he is dead and just assumes he is on a job away from the club and is scared that he will come back.

Thankfully Daimon never gives up on finding out the truth and immediately jumps into being there for her and making sure she is safe. Once she finds out the truth about Sin and her own past with him comes to light things work for the better for her and we find out Sin raped her the same time Sasha came back, and he did it because she looked like Sasha and he was obsessed.

Daimon is super patient with Briella (who reveals she was a virgin before Sin). This is technically a slow burn as they do not get together much later in the book, and they are not sexually active until around the end.

I loved his protectiveness of her and how much he truly cared about her. We never got any OW or club bunny drama from Daimon, it seems like despite him never being interested in a real relationship he had none of the bunnies after him either.

I'm a bit nervous about Levi and Tith's book as they both have manwhoring ways yet love one person it seems and that usually does not work for me but hopefully Jessica Ames does it in a manner which I enjoy!

I don't have nightmares because I created my own. This life, it's not for the weak, and that's one thing I'm not either. I'll kill a man because my president demands it. I'll kill a man for slighting my club, too. Everything I do is for the Untamed Sons.

Brie and Daimon find salvation in each other... 5 stars!

**Trigger warning: rape off-page, alcoholism, suggested child abuse, strong language, MC violence and gore**

Damn, this series really does get better and better with each book. I still consider myself new to the age-gap sub-genre of the romance world, but when I come across books like this that are able to just suck you into the story regardless of the slight taboo nature, it makes me want to dive headfirst into the trope! I've quickly come to adore Jessica's writing style as it just meshes so well with me as a reader. It's effortless yet memorable, while still capable of holding my attention the entire way through. I cannot get enough of her novels!

Even though this book shared some common themes with the previous two, it still felt unique and delivered a romance between Daimon and Brie that was just bloody brilliant. Brie was an absolute hot-mess in the beginning of the story, using alcohol and partying to bury her pain and forget her past. As Daimon continues to watch Brie spiral out of control, he realizes that she means more to him than she should as she is the sister of one of his club brothers. But he is determined to save Brie from herself while she remains steadfast in her decision to keep the shame of her past hidden. I loved how Brie's journey unfolded and how this story showed that the Untamed Sons aren't invulnerable. Even though there were no sexy times until the very last chapter, I was captivated the entire way through and loved every word of this book.

One surprise for me was how much I lived for Daimon and Brie's roommate, Layla's, interactions! Daimon's inner thoughts about her were freaking hilarious, and I loved watching them interact with each other. I absolutely love this series and will continue to read anything by Jessica Ames! Luckily, I already have Whizz's story loaded up on my kindle, ready for me to devour ♡

Briella is one of the brother's little sister and at 19 she is acting out. Drinking , and going out every night. She is trying to forget her past but she is spiraling.

Daimon is a brother to Briella's blood brother and when Levi can't go pick up Briella and get her out of trouble Daimon does it. There is also an explosive attraction between the two. Daimon is 31 and knows he is too old for Briella. You also don't touch a brother's sister, daughter, or other family member but Daimon doesn't know how long he can resist the attraction.

Ames is one of my favorite authors of all time and this series is an addiction of mine. I love the brothers from Untamed Sons. The next book in the series is Briella's brother, Levi. This series is a page turner, has dark and gritty topics, hot men with steamy scenes, and great stories. I can't ask for more then that.

Gripping MC Book

Daimon is the treasurer of the Untamed Sons MC and knows the rules of hands off your brothers’ sister but when it comes to his best friend’s little sister, he knows that is a rule that he is about to break.

Briella has been through a traumatic event in her young life and has hiding her pain between booze and living life on the edge. Daimon is the only one who sees this and knows something happened to her that brought her to this point in her life and he is bound and determined to learn what is so he can help her through this.

For a tough alpha biker who is much older than her, he stands by her side throughout and helps her heal. I loved their connection and this book had a lot of action going on throughout it as well and was one awesome page turner.

This was another dark and gritty book and I absolutely loved it! Daimon was a big, rough and scary biker and no woman held his attention for long until he rescues one of his brothers’ little sister. That night it all changes for him. Briella didn’t have the most warm and fuzzy upbringing so Levi, her brother and a member of the Untamed Sons, removed her from her family home. When she is brought to the clubhouse Daimon signs her irresistible but club family is off-limits, until he has to rescue her. Nothing in life comes easy especially what you want. Will they make it work even though obstacles to stand in their way?

Dark, emotional and gritty.
If being abused as a child, Brie was also raped by someone who she trusted in the beginning. Her brother's M.C. should have been her safe haven but one-day a club brother took advantage of Brie all because her looks close to another women he raped that was also a part of the club, his own brother's woman. Diamond and her brother Levi doesn't k ow her dark secret but when they find out what will they do??? Will Brie get the grief counseling she needs or will she numb her pain with whatever will so the job???

This book was dark, raw and gritty with no holds barred, making it just as epic as the others in the series. The looming secret keeps you turning the pages at a fast pace, and once that bombshell drops there's no turning back.
This unlikely couple will run you through a gamut of emotions while experiencing their difficult journey.
This story was also inspirational, and a reminder that you don't have to battle demons alone.
Definitely recommend.

This is the 3rd book in this awesome series and is Daimon and Brielle’s story. Brielle is haunted by her past and turns to alcohol and partying to hide her pain, but she is spiralling out of control rapidly. Daimon is the treasurer of the Untamed Sons, and he is also Brielle’s brothers’ best friend, and when he received a call from another club to come pick her up, he knows he needs to get to the bottom of why she is so damaged and broken. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, but will he be able to protect her when her past comes back to haunt her? This is a well written story which is raw, gritty, emotionally charged, tale, with secrets, and is a heartwrenching and all-consuming and riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all MC lovers.

Gets you right in the heart! Debra @Janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog

Daimon and Briella’s story is just so perfect! It is dark, deep and heart gripping from beginning to end.

Daimon just can’t help himself when it comes to being there for Briella. Being there for a brothers sister is just what you do when you are a part of the Untamed Sons! At least that what he tells himself. He isn't looking for anything serious especially for someone as young as Briella.

Briella has had bad things happen to her and not everyone in her circle is aware of this. She is trying hard to hide her pain but not in the best way.

Briella and Daimon have a chemistry and a connection that is loving and raw and real. I loved reading their story for its realness.

Where to begin? Maybe the beginning? Ok to be honest, I struggle with bratty, young heroines and Bri is a serious brat. I had to stop, talk to a friend, take a deep breath and realize a 19 yr old teenager cannot be expected to react like an adult under any circumstances, much less with real trauma involved. So I curbed the urge to shake her, smack her and tried to put myself in her place.

Bri has suffered a real trauma and the way she has chosen to deal with this trauma is very self destructive. I can understand her not believing she would be believed if she told her story. I am not sure she would have been believed under different circumstances. I can actually understand how things unfolded for her ( this is all I am saying - no spoilers) and I'm glad she found some peace, healing and love.

Daimon has the patience of a freakin' saint. He sees Bri's cry for help before she even sees it. He doesn't take no for an answer and thank goodness he is persistent. He was just the man she needed. What I loved about this story is it doesn't just brush over the trauma. It allows the pain to be ever present. It shows that trauma takes time to heal and addiction is a real ongoing process. There is no.... I have suffered but all I need is the love of a good man. That love is important and ever present, yet there is so much more required. I loved how this story was strong and developed without all the blatant "sex solves all problems" take some books rely on. It is a slow burn, but the build up is worth it. Daimon says it best when he talks about Bri bringing out the best version of him and I might add... vice versa.

Sweet baby Jesus! I feel this book has taken everything from me! Like literally EVERYTHING!! This is book three in the Untamed Sons MC series and as previous, it leads on from book two.
Daimon is called to pull one of his brothers family out of a tricky situation. He is not in the mood to play babysitter but he sees past the facade that Briella is struggling to keep up. Daimon sees that she is struggling with something, but what he doesn't know.
As he starts to peel the layers back it becomes apparent that what ever it is, has cut deep. She is family and he is determined to get to the bottom of it. But he truly is not prepared for the truth, I know I wasn't!
Like UGLY cry!!!! Like, this gutted me!! Throat aching, heart breaking, chest hurting! I felt every bit of Briella's pain but I also felt the love and support of Daimon and her family, the MC...And that made me cry too!
This series just keeps getting stronger, absolutely loved this, even if it did make me cry........ALOT!!

This is the third book in the series. They should be read in order. If you not than at least the first book. This book directly links to that one. Briella is Levi’s sister. She has changed over the last few months. Daimon seems to be the only who notices it and wants to figure out why. She makes him feel things he shouldn’t. Not only is she so much younger than him and the sister of a club brother. Briella has been through something horrible. She doesn’t think anyone will believe her over a member of the club. She is on a downward spiral that won’t end well. Will Daimon be able to find out what happened to her before its too late? I am loving this series more with each book. Daimon knows when to push Briella and when to just be there for her. He will do whatever it takes to help her. Briella is so young and is just trying to deal with what has happened. What Briella doesn’t realize is that the club will be there. They have her back. These characters are wonderful. The guys are ruthless when they need to be. But they are also softer when they need to be. The club seems to being hit with one thing after another. Not all from the outside. Fantastic job creating this world Jessica. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I can’t recommend this series enough. This is the third book in the series. They should be read in order. If you not than at least the first book. √ DAIMON is the third instalment in Jessica Ames’ contemporary, adult UNTAMED SONS MC: LONDON MC romance series. This is thirty-one year old, Untamed Sons MC treasurer Jake ‘Daimon’ Reynolds, and nineteen year old, sales rep Briella’s story line. DAIMON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines, is revealed where necessary

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Daimon and Briella) DAIMON follows in the wake of Briella’s abrupt change of personality. Briella is Levi’s sister. Levi is the Untamed Sons MC treasurer but only Daimon notices that Briella is quickly spiralling out of control. Unable to walk away, Daimon battles between head and heart knowing Briella is off limits but Daimon also know that to do nothing could possibly mean losing the only woman he would ever love. As Briella continues to fall, Daimon rallies his brothers in the hopes of saving our story line heroine. What ensues is the building but acrimonious relationship between Briella and Daimon, and the potential fall-out as sins of the past threaten to destroy our story line couple.

The world building focuses on the search from the truth. Briella is struggling, and refuses to admit what happened or why, and in this, Daimon must take a stand in an effort to save the woman he loves. Briella doesn’t want to reveal the truth, knowing it could destroy the Untamed Sons MC but the truth will free our heroine from the pain and heartbreak of the ultimate betrayal.

The relationship between Daimon and Briella begins acrimoniously when Daimon must rescue our heroine from enemy territory. Briella is lost, hurt and struggling to thrive, and in this, any attempt to save her, threatens the ongoing lack of trust she has already established. The lone $ex scenes is passionate.

The secondary and supporting characters are determined and desperate. We are introduced to Briella’s protective roommate Layla, as well as the return of Briella’s brother Levi, and club bunny Noelle, Ravage and Sasha, Knox and Lucy, Titch, Nox and Fury. The requisite evil has many faces.

DAIMON is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, power and control, trust and helplessness, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance is subtle; the characters are broken, dynamic and trying to heal.

Daimon is the 3rd book in the Untamed Sons Series. Although, I feel you could read this book as a stand-alone because Jessica does a fantastic job with the back story, you should read Ravage and Nox first. You will be introduced to Daimon and Brie, plus the other main characters. I am so enjoying getting more from this MC and watching their stories unfold and drawing me further into their world.

Daimon is the Treasurer of the MC and has been part of the club since he was 17. Briella’s brother, Levi is the treasurer, and newer to the club. Oh, And, Briella is only 19. Age gap, forbidden romance- bring on the angst.

Briella is spiraling, drinking heavily, and keeping secrets from everyone in her life, except her best friend Layla.

When Daimon rescues her from a potentially unsafe situation, he starts to see just how deep her darkness is running. He steps in feeling protective of her in a way he has never felt before. Despite the age difference and his connection to her brother, he cannot sit by and watch her self-destruct.

Briella is afraid of her secret coming out because it involves the club. Being around Daimon makes her feels safe, secure, and clean. But, she is afraid of how much he makes her feel. When Brie is forced to come clean, their relationship is taken to the next level. Brie has much work to do on getting her life back on track, but Daimon’s support and love give her hope.

With each book, Jessica gives us more insight and glimpses into how the club is run and just how gritty and brutal the world they live in is. She writes difficult and sensitive topics with such grace. You can feel the push and pull of the budding relationship between Daimon and Brie. When these guys fall- they fall hard and fast, but the gentle way they handle their women, has me sighing and swooning. Daimon is everything someone like Brie needs. His alpha side combined with his sweet protective side is hot as hell.

“This is exactly where I was born to be. This is exactly who I was born to be. I’m a fucking fighter and a survivor. With Daimon at my side, I’m so much more than that. I am a warrior.”

If anyone out there has been paying attention, I love MC romances. There's nothing better than those rough and rebellious motorcycle riders, all alpha and growly. It's nice to see them fall, and fall hard for their women. In Jessica Ames' Untamed Sons: London MC series, she's nailed my type of guy perfectly, and of course added the English accent to boot #herowithanaccent. Daimon is book number three in the series, and I strongly suggest you read Ravage and Nox first to avoid feeling lost. But don't worry, you'll LOVE them.

In Daimon, we get to know Briella - a troubled nineteen year old, and one of the MC brothers' sister. Daimon is twelve years older then her and so when he starts having feelings for her, he is swarmed by guilt. She is off limits to him, not only because she's so young, but also because she's his friend's sister. But Brie is hurting because of something that happened. Not only is she hurting, but her behaviour has gotten dangerous and reckless. Daimon finds himself drawn to Brie and is determined to find out what happened to her. He is also determined to protect her and bring her back from the brink. But can he keep his feelings for Brie subdued or will they rise up to sweep them both off their feet?

This series is...EVERYTHING. Yes, it can be difficult to read - pay close attention to the trigger warnings, ladies. Bad things happen and these books are not to be taken lightly. But there is so much emotion and action, that you won't be able to put Daimon - or any of the other books - down. Daimon kept the momentum of the series going. It did not disappoint. Being pulled into Brie and Daimon's romance was exactly what I wanted. In fact, I really think that you'll be pulled into the entire world of the Untamed Sons and you won't want to leave. It is definitely not a light and fluffy romance but it is exactly what each of us needs.

It comes as no surprise that the wonderfully talented Jessica Ames has written yet another utterly gut wrenchingly beautiful story of two characters that just come blazing off the pages. No I don't mean on the steam side although it has to be said their chemistry is scorching hot! But it's also on a soul deep level. The mental level. The level in which we all as humans strive to find within our life partners.

I cannot lie and say that Daimon and Briella aren't now my favourite Untamed Sons coupling because their story was something brutally hard to read but one of the most rewarding to see finally blossom. The trials and tribulations that poor Briella goes through are some of the most profound and gut wrenching, yet Daimon is there solid a stubborn rock, to ride it out even when Brielle is being impossible.

To read someone literally self destructing so intensely is a hard thing to read, when every fibre of my being wanted to crawl into the book and just console her, sometimes shake her to her senses with her silly thoughts but just ultimately heal her wounds.

Now with that being said please don't let this mislead you into thinking it's all sadness and soul breaking. This is Jessica and her MC world after all...

Do you get the grittiness that we love? Abso-freakin-loutely!
Is their darkness and danger? Oh yes ma'am there is!
Does it have the panty melting alpha? Yeah you know it does!

So with that all nicely wrapped up, what I'm trying to say is this book is well worth a read. As is the entire series! If you are looking for an age-gap romance with that dose of dark romance that we all love then sink your teeth into this breath-taking story of survival.

Daimon
Untamed Sons MC, Book 3
By: Jessica Ames
Narrated by: Oliver Highpoint, Rose McMahon

Jessica Ames continues her Untamed Sons MC with another hit! Daimon is the treasurer of the MC and is tough as nails. When he goes to pick up Levi's sister, Briella, who was in the bar of an enemy biker club, he just thinks she is immature and bratty. But that doesn't stop his attraction to her. There is something about her that draws him in. Briella can't even remember all that happened that night. She is already thinking of the next time she can get a drink to dull her pain. There is so much she is trying to drown out, and despite her attraction to the older, but incredible man, she knows when her past comes out, he would never want her. Little do these two know that their chemistry is so strong, it may be the thing that saves them both. This is filled with darkness, but don't think Ames doesn't let the light shine in. Briella is messed up, and her secrets could blow up the entire club. Daimon is focused on helping and loving Briella. It's a dangerous and gritty story, but has the passion and love that makes it shine. I loved it.

Oliver Highpoint and Rose McMahon bring this gem alive. Highpoint comes through, accent and all, creating a dangerously, grumpy, protective man. Rose McMahon has Briella, a bit lost, becoming stronger and remaining independent. Their voices compliment each other and give the story the flair to make it flow. I enjoyed them together and look forward to future collaborations.

"She pouts and (..) me if I don't want to kiss those plump lips, a perfect cupids bow on the top."

5 Brotherhood Stars!!! Dark, triggering, and beautiful...

Daimon will do anything for his brothers of Untamed Sons MC, even if that means putting up with Briella and her bratty behavior. He's 31 and the last thing he wants to do is babysit a teenager. He's an independent man, and he likes it that way. Briella has some serious trauma happen to her and she deals with this trauma in self-destructive ways. She's not ready to talk about it with anyone, but Daimon sees it and that's when he jumps in.

This book is dark and definitely has its sadness. I won't give too much away, except to say that you'll need to brace yourself. Daimon and Briella together are everything but it's also gut-wrenching as well! Such a great addition to the series!

Daimon has found a family with the Untamed Sons, he’s been with them since he was a teenager, and he knows without a doubt that they have his back whenever he needs them. So, when he finds himself paying for a recent mistake, he isn’t worried that his brothers won’t find him or rescue him. He just has to hold on until they get there. His life is different now and he has more to lose than he did before.

Briella is spiraling out of control and the only person who sees it is her roommate and best friend Layla. She’s been raised by her big brother since he pulled her out of their home as a teen. She loves Levi and knows that he cares about her, but her mind is fighting demons and it seems no one can help her.

When Briella is seen somewhere she doesn’t belong Daimon’s eyes are opened to the fact that she’s in trouble and needs help. He’ll worm his way into her life to protect her and bring her out of the dark hole she’s dug herself into. I really enjoyed this story and the twist in this story that was different than the others in the series. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Untamed Sons MC series to come. Hopefully there will be some with the US club in the future as well. The men of the Untamed Sons may have darkness in them, but when they find their light a whole new side of them is seen. I loved Daimon.

This was an amazing book to read. This book has some very darks themes, so if these kinds of things bother you, this is not for you. The characters felt so real and were so well developed that I really thought that the author was taking a true story and making it her own. Daimon is the secretary/treasurer for the Untamed Sons MC and he has some very scary demons inside him. Briella is the sister of one of his brothers and he notices that she is spiraling out of control with partying and drinking constantly. He realizes that he really wants her to be his for good, but can't get past the fact how much younger she is and it is against code to date a MC brother's sister. That doesn't stop him from trying to figure out and fix whatever Briella has going on. Briella is a character that sounds very familiar to me and it breaks my heart at the terrible things that life throws at her. Daimon seems to be the one thing in life that is keeping her from ending up in a ditch somewhere. The characters have chemistry and it just made me fell all sorts of things. This is book three so I will have to go back and check out the other books. I highly recommend this read.

The third installment of the Untamed Sons MC brings us to Daimon, the club's treasurer, and Briella, little sister of club member Levi. Immediately, it comes to light that Briella is on a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol and no one knows why. Daimon is determined to get to the bottom of what's going on with Briella while trying to fight his growing feelings for the young, troubled, off-limits girl. Eventually, Daimon can't fight the feelings any longer and does what he has to do - both to claim his woman and get to the bottom of what's spun her out of control. Fans of the series will have an idea of what's Briella's pain before it comes to light, but newcomers to the series, while they can enjoy this as a standalone, may be a bit lost on that aspect, and that's the only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me. Because otherwise it's well-written, the author continues to build up the supporting characters' personalities, and the females in the series, despite going through some traumas and issues, continue to be badass when they need to be. This author is NOT going away anytime soon...and thank goodness for that because the Untamed Sons series is definitely a must-have for all MC fans.

Another great addition to the Untamed Sons MC Series. The author gave us an amazing storyline that is haunting, suspenseful and romantic all rolled into one. As for the characters, Daimon and Breilla are a match in so many ways. Daimon is tough as nails, takes no prisoners, biker and Breilla is a sweet young girl with a troubled childhood and an even more nightmarish adult life. She is also Levi’s sister (Levi is one of Daimon’s club brothers).

Breilla has a secret. A secret that she is spiraling out of control to overcome. She parties and drinks herself into a stupor in order to forget. She is found in a rival gang’s territory and with Levi on a run, Daimon takes it upon himself to go get her. Little do both of them know this night will change their lives in so many ways, not only for Daimon and Breilla but the Untamed Sons as well. Promises get broken, Rival disrespect turns to war, Secrets get revealed and Lives get totally turned upside down.

A great read book in a total must read series. The book is well written and kept me glued to the pages. I highly recommend grabbing it up asap. You won’t regret it.

Daimon & Breilla

She's the sister of a club brother and where she shouldn't be. He's not around to take care of it so Daimon pulls Breilla out of the club and gives her the riot act for getting in another club's territory and how dangerous that could be. She would fight back if she weren't so out of it.

He knows he shouldn't be thinking of the way she makes him respond. She too young and the sister of a brother. Fighting his feelings isn't possible when he realizes she isn't just being rebellious, she's fighting something awful that brings nightmares every night. He promises to find out who hurt her and make them pay.

The club is preparing for a possible war with another chapter who may need help. In addition, they get some information that could mean trouble. Spending time with her to find out what happened to her brings them closer. Will he make her his? Even at the possible cost.

Their relationship builds slowly as does uncovering the culprits. But nothing is easy will they make it together? There is club action, unforgettable characters, and a love story with steam. More to come with the next book.

At the start of this exciting but emotional story, Daimon is under the impression that Briella is just a bratty kid but she's a Sons' member's little sister so when she's in trouble, he goes to help her get out of it. He's mad & tries to give her hell, but at that time, he didn't look past the surface to see she was drowning. Actually, no one did, even her older brother. Brie is in trouble because she has dark demons that she couldn't move on from as the voices didn't quit until she self-medicated with booze. Daimon doesn't stay clueless for a long time & sets out to figure out what is driving her self destruction but it's not an easy situation because she hates the Untamed Sons MC. Plus she can't get past how she feels about herself, and definitely has big trust issues. It made for hard to breathe angst levels because I could seriously feel her pain intensely. There are twists to get the f-bombs dropping, leading to heart pounding action so yeah, while this story is hard to experience (it came off very realistic & well done with no pat answers), I couldn't put it down even for breaks. I'm ready for more of this MC & HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am still fairly new to MC books, which I discovered I enjoy most of the time. I am also new to this series, and although definitely curious about previous books now, I found it was fine as a standalone as we were given enough backstory. There wasn't as much violence as I expected and am used to in MC books such as this...nothing wrong with that, actually was nice, just saying. But definitely trigger warnings should be heeded as Briella does have traumatic events in her past. I loved how sweet Daimon was with her, even if he acted grumpy, and how he was determined to discover her demons and help her fight them even before he realized he loved her. He was perfect for her, they both just had to realize that, and it was heartbreaking how Briella didn't believe he'd stay once he knew her secret... but love was triumphant. There was some edge of you seat suspense and extreme danger towards the end, but mostly it was an emotional journey of overcoming. Narrators were great, I just had to slow it down from my usual speed close to 2x as I'm American so needed a slower speed to understand the accents.

Daimon is this hot, growly, possessive alpha, who has no problem taking charge, and getting to the bottom of something. A member of the Untamed Sons MC, Daimon is devoted to his club, his brothers, and their mission. Briella, is the sister of one of the members of Untamed Sons, Levi. Levi took her from her parents house when she was 14. She lived at the clubhouse with her brother for a few years, then moved out. Now at 19, Briella, is causing problems and acting up. Daimon has noticed a big change in Briella, but she also is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. Briella knows that she is falling a part. When Daimon smells alcohol on Her breath during the day, it's time for an intervention. Daimon will do what ever it takes to help the woman he loves. I recommend this book! The pace was great, characters well defined and liked, and the story was complete. I didn't have to wonder about anything in it. Jessica Ames, is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine in MC series.
