    I love the Ruthless Kings series. To be able to step over into Mateo’s world made my little black heart so happy.

    While this is a standalone as such, seriously you need to read the world of the Ruthless Kings to truly appreciate Mateo and the history behind his story. Great intro to his Mafia empire, giving very little away.

    Definitely in love with this character. Age gap was perfect with Nora. Dark themes as expected with Mafia/MC crossover. Easy one click 🖤

    What a fantastic start to a new series. Mateo was so good I could hardly put this book down. It's so hot 🔥 in places you need to guzzle a gallon of water. 😉.

    Nora was beautifuly kind , introverted , smart and innocent in alot of ways. Her life was not full of love and laughter she only had herself and the four walls around her heart to rely on . But Mateo saw right through her from the minute they met and he refused to let her leave his side . Mateo has demons and yet Nora pulled Mateo from the darkness with out even trying she was just herself and whatever it was , was enough for Mateo . He brought Nora out of her shell and ignited a light in her she never dreamed possible they complimented each other beautifuly . I look forward to the next book K.L Savage has become one of my favorite go to Authors oven enjoyed the Ruthless Kings MC series so much and they make an appearance in this book as well. Five stars from me.

    I usually like to wait until there are several books released before beginning a new series, especially by my favorite authors, like this one! However, curiosity got the best of me, which is why I decided to go ahead and read it. It certainly didn't disappoint! (Not that I thought it might!) This was a fantastic story, and I loved finally getting to know more about the mysterious Mateo Moretti! There was heartbreak, intense situations, angst, drama, humor, a bit of violence, suspense, and intriguing twists and turns that will make it impossible to put it down until the very end. You certainly don't want to miss out on this new series, and I'm REALLY hoping that there will be more coming very soon!
    If you haven't already read the Ruthless Kings MC Las Vegas/Original series, I would highly recommend that you do before starting this book. It's not necessary, but it will give you a better understanding of the characters, past situations and connections, the different clubs/crews, and the dynamics between them. They're all absolutely fantastic stories, so you won't be disappointed!
    I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

    Mateo Moretti has been playing a background role in the Ruthless Kings world since Reaper. Though it isn't necessary to read RKMC, it may help you understand his struggles. 

    A man who has been plauged with the numerous struggles to rebuild what has been taken from him, Mateo's only focus is his daughter's well-being and taking back his rightful place as the head of the Vegas mafia.  He doesn't expect to be blindsided by a natural beauty, who is being coerced by her friends to celebrate her 21st birthday at his casino. 

    He must find a way to balance the life he's fought hard to return to, with the one he wants to start with Nora. With age, corrupt family, and the questionable relationship between him and the Kings, does Mateo have a chance in Vegas to win Nora's heart?  A stronger man would walk away, but...     This book has it all, family, vengeance, redemption, and above all, love!  A blazing introduction to a different side of the Vegas Underworld that the great K.L Savage has created. Everything is new, but still keeps the vibe I have come to need like a drug!
