Ravage (Untamed Sons MC Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 3,517 ratings

Enjoy this dark motorcycle club romance from USA Today Bestselling MC romance author Jessica Ames...

Ravage

As president of the Untamed Sons MC, I'm no stranger to pain, but three years ago Sasha Montgomery broke my heart and put another black mark against my soul. Even the mention of her name is enough to bring my demons out to play. I still don't know what happened, but what I do know is she walked out on me, the club, and the future we were working towards without a backwards glance. I should have known she wouldn't stay gone.

Sasha

Leaving Rav was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but I didn’t have a choice. Staying and facing my past wasn't an option. I suffered through hell, but I'm stronger than I've ever been, at least I was until my daughter got sick. Now, the only person left who might be able to save her is her father. Only, I have no idea who it is. Ravage, or his brother, Sin.

All books in the Untamed Sons universe can be read as standalones, but are better enjoyed read in order. This is a dark romantic story with a guaranteed happily ever after. It does have some strong language, graphic violence and content that might be triggering.

I fell in love with not just Ravage but Sasha as well. Despite everything they are perfect for each other.

This book starts with lots of secrets including a hidden child and Sasha scared to be near the MC she grew up in. Ravage is furious at her after she upped and left without a word. However, you can still see they love each other.

My heart broke for both characters in this book and will say there are triggers that best be checked if you have any or anything your not keen on reading.

The writing was superb and definitely want more both of this series and the authors other work.

First of all, let me tell you how much I enjoyed this story. Ravage is my first book written by Jessica Ames and she had me hooked from the very first chapter. I anticipated the story was going to unfold in a certain direction and I was delighted to get this completely wrong.

I loved getting to know the characters in this narrative. MC stories are a favourite of mine and this book certainly ticked the boxes I have come to expect when reading a romance novel from this trope. There is a perfect balance of darkness and light, betrayal and forgiveness. Sasha’s strength and determination are to be admired. What she goes through hurt my heart but added to the storyline perfectly. I loved witnessing both sides of leading man Ravage - the hard biker and the softer lover and father. Ravage is president of the Untamed Sons MC, and he had some difficult decisions to make. This narrative introduces readers to a number of members of the MC and I now cannot wait to read their stories too. It was a refreshing change to have a MC story based in London – I was able to recognise many of the locations, which I also loved.

Overall, I may have loved this narrative, however, I do have a few niggles. There are moments that don’t make sense to me - I can’t understand the reasons behind certain actions especially when there are more urgent matters at hand. I also found the repeated internal monologues to be quite annoying. Those who follow my reviews will know that I hate repeats of any kind. I also wish that we had seen flashbacks of the history between Sasha and Rav which for my liking would have included seeing Sasha with the rest of the MC family too.

Ravage has a fabulous storyline, although, in my opinion it lacks depth - which is such a shame. However, I would still highly recommend this book to you to read.

New author to me but will be a recurring author. Really enjoyed this book. It dealt with serious issues with respect. A gritty MC book with betrayals that cut deep, forgiveness from all angles and hope. No other club bunny drama which suits me as I hate when the FMC is exposed to that and OW are thrown in their faces.
Lots of drama, action, great dialogue and a HEA. I am looking for forward to Nox and Lucy.

A decent enough story line, just quite repetitive.

All in all a good read.

It’s well written and a nice second chance romance. The emotions played at well and the characters were great. It’s very predictable, but sometimes that’s what you need.

One small annoyance is that this clearly wasn’t written by someone from the U.K., that or they added Americanisms.

After the most brutal betrayal Ravage has to put down one of his own, to ensure the safety of his old lady and daughter.
This is an amazing story with heartache and love.
    5 stars.

I found this book really good, I loved the passion of the characters, the brotherhood of the club, and the storyline.
Tyler and Sasha were partners. However, 3 years ago, Sacha left Tyler and the club. She's now back because of her daughter, and as you progress through the book, you find out why she left. It is well worth a read.

Loved it! Simply loved it. So much sorrow, so much pain. Yet beneath it all the love is still there.

Lily-May is the center of Sasha us world. She needs a bone marrow transplant and has been in the hospital until the perfect donor can be found. Who will it be, Ravage or Sin?

I got this book as a freebie during ''Stuff your Kindle'' day. It was already on my tbr but getting it that day made me just read it ahead of the other books on my list.

I love Sons of Anarchy and anything MC related that resembles that world already has my vote.
We meet two characters who have suffered when they lost each other and spend the next few years picking up the pieces. Sasha knows why she left and why she stayed away and on the other side Tyler aka Rav believes he was abandoned and hates her guts (though still loves her).

Fantastic read. I absolutely loved Ravage and Sasha’s story ❤️❤️❤️ such a great couple. They were apart for so long after Ravages brother did the wrong thing but now they will go from strength to strength along with his newly revealed but much loved daughter. Love that Fury was her saviour. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4.0 out of 5 stars 3.5/5 good quick MC romance
Reviewed in Canada on 1 September 2023
The love of a mother is the only thing that can get Sasha back to her old stomping grounds. still haunted from events that happened 3 years ago, she finds herself desperately clinging to hope that making the change to a new hospital (which is dead Centre in the heart of Untamed Sons territory) is the answer to saving her daughter. Sasha will slay any dragon if it means saving her daughter even if it means slaying the two dragons from her past. Look out Ravage she does t care if you’re the President of the Untamed Sons MC or that you were the love of her life and now you call her Wh@re, nothing can stop her from saving her daughter. Even if she’s not sure it’s yours or your brothers. Check trigger warnings. Thankfully the scenes are minimal and aren’t graphic when it comes to the triggers. Could’ve been a solid 4 star just missing some of the depth (would’ve liked to seen the meeting of Sasha and Tyler and James when they were kids and a bit as they grew up together.) I’m still not sure how long they were even together for before they broke up. All in all a quick read, sweet in its own way especially with the brothers Fury and Nox can’t wait to read their stories.
