About the author

Cala Riley, better known as Cala and Riley, are a pair of friends with a deep seated love of books and writing. Both Cala and Riley are happily married and each have children, Cala with the four-legged kind while Riley has a mixture of both two-legged and four. While they live apart, that does not affect their connection. They are the true definition of family. What started as an idea that quickly turned into a full-length book and a bond that will never end.

- Reviewed in Australia on 29 May 2021Mayhem is book 1 in the new Trailer Park Girls duet - WOW! This story had me ignoring my family and finishing in 1 sitting!
Willow is independent and fierce; hasn’t had it easy she has had to fend for herself to survive and when her gut instinct kicks in to help someone, she puts herself in the firing line and is left needing protection.
Chase, oh yeah Chase; dear lord he has some seriously hot alpha vibes coming off him and he will do anything to protect the people he loves.
I personally loved this story, Cala & Riley have delivered another fantastic story that had me hooked from beginning to end; I cannot wait to get my hands on Harmony!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good read
Verified PurchaseI think Nate deserved the best male character trophy up until maybe the last 10%. We hear about Chase pulling some hero duty but I feel like I didn't fully accept it until I read his POV towards the end.
Buuuut! I loved the relationship building that ran all the way through the book. All the different connections-Willow and Nate, Willow and Hailee and Willow and Chase.
I felt a little confused about the conflict with the stalker/bad guys up until the end as well...though, that could just be good storytelling at work. It just seemed like the bad guys popped in once in a while to remind us they're the reason for Chase and Willow being together. 🤷🏽♀️ Also...can we take a moment to gag at the creepy teacher bits?
Any-hoot, I'm curious to see how the original conflict will be resolved now that the POV delivery seems to be shifting to Hailee in the next book.

3.0 out of 5 stars ugh
Verified PurchaseI really wanted to like this book. But Willow just got on my nerves. I get the whole abandonment issue, self harm and needed do survive but at some point she still couldn’t get over her stubbornness and the need to self sabotage. The storyline is good, but I found myself skimming through a lot of it. I really hope book 2 is better because the mfc did it work for me.

2.0 out of 5 stars Sass or stupidity???
Verified PurchaseThe amount of TSTL in this book is frightening, if I hadn't read another book by C Riley I would have given up on this one at 10% After reading this I wish I had. At points it reads like the heroine is a teen at others she reads older, a 17 year old can't possibly be this jaded. The only thing that stuck with me in this book is the stupidity.
