    It feels an absolute age since we have had a new story from CP Smith. However, it has been worth every single second of the wait to get Storm Damage.

    You know what you are going to get with one of her stories. Alpha man. Strong woman. Insta-love (I am not a big fan of the insta-love, but it doesn't worry me with CP's stories as the stories are so well plotted out, it doesn't feel real quick).

    Logan and Skylar's story is all that and a bag of chips. I was consumed from the minute I opened up this book until I regretfully put it down after the last word. Regretfully, as I didn't want it to end.

    There is murder, mystery and mayhem as you read. You pretty well know who is doing stuff, but it is the journey of the why that takes you on a rollercoaster of a story. Just when you think things are sorted out, BAM, you turn the page and are again blown away.

    Ms Smith gives us such well rounded out characters. Logan and Skylar are fighting to find their peace, and with the help of family and friends, maybe they can find it. Skylar's brothers and her best friends are amazing, and I neeeeeed Jamie's story to happen. Things are alluded to in this book so I hope we get her story in the futute.

    I am a bit over the alpha-hole thing in my books, however Logan Storm is very much the exception to that rule for me at the moment. And that all comes down to Ms Smith's writing.

    Now I need to move to Montana, find me a Logan (or heck, maybe I can find Dutton Ranch whilst I am there) and live happily every after!

    Storm Damage is a story that is heart wrenching, emotional, passionate and heartfelt. A story that is captivating and has you so immersed in the story that nothing will keep you from the pages of Logan and Skylar’s journey. A connection so strong nothing would stand in the way. Two people that had their paths crossed in such a way that only fate could be responsible. Their story is full of suspense, drama and is action packed. The chemistry between these two ignites sparks from the pages that you will feel deep within your heart and soul. As the words of their love story wraps itself tight around you, you will find yourself happy for their ending but sad that your time with this couple has drawn to a close.

    Whoa what a ride! This book is go go go from start to finish. Instalove without being over the top and flowery, there is an intense connection and chemistry between Logan and Skylar. I enjoyed the small town dynamic, the suspense, and also the potential for more books set in this world! 5 stars!

    Storm Damage is a standalone Alpha packed insta love story.

    Logan was trying to find his joy and when he finds himself face to face with his dream girl he can’t let her go. Skylar and her brothers have not had an easy life and when a financial pressure hits them hard everything around them starts to crumble. Death, mystery and romance takes centre stage.

    I personally enjoyed the storyline off Storm Damage and the insta love connection that Skylar and Logan had; Max was my favourite throughout though. Smith is a new to me author and I look forward to reading more in the future.

    Storm Damage contains everything I love in a great romance. Logan, ex-delta force sniper, was just supposed to be passing through. He has demons invading his mind, but the moment he meets Sky, the noise quietens and he finally finds peace. With their first meeting, Logan’s protective instincts kick in and he knows he’s found his forever, his ‘one’.

    Skylar is the perfect heroine with a backbone of steel and bucketloads of inner strength, but just enough self doubt and insecurities you can’t help but love and respect her from the first page. She has been taking care of her two younger brothers since she was a teenager as well as keeping the family bar running, but it’s getting harder, for once she needs someone to take care of her.

    The suspense and drama within this book kept me guessing. There are twists and turns so unpredictable, I could not put the book down. I loved everything about Storm Damage, as I knew I would, with fantastic supporting characters, I hope we see more of. I highly recommend this read.

    I was going to do a review that just said MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE all the way through, but I owe this book so much more than that. And, although CP Smith might think I’m funny...pretty sure she wouldn’t think that was funny...ok, maybe a little, but not for my whole review. I had so many highlights, and teasers for this book, because when CP Smith writes, she writes from deep down in her soul, and you feel everything, all the way to your soul. An intense and heart warming experience for sure, and I always love every single minute of it.

    Let’s talk about my Logan Storm. First things first, this cover...am I right? Logan is everything, and I do mean everything. He is just as sexy as his cover and his name implies. Seriously though. Maybe his nickname shoulda been Logan Sexy Storm instead of Crest...just sayin. In a world full of chaos, don’t we all want a Logan Storm? I know I do, and a Max too...this is me putting my order in now. He knows what he wants, and that’s Skylar, he doesn’t apologize for it, he is who he is and that’s it. These two connected from the very first meeting, they are haunted soulmates drawn together. I love that they both don’t fight it, they don’t even try to. Refreshing.

    This was a safe read. A delicious possessive Adonis Alpha that only has eyes for his woman...I know, super sexy swoonfest. These two were everything, total relationship goals. Sexy soulmates with a side of suspense. Logan was all possessive alpha, all the time….still mine. Loved all the towns people and how they banded together to help their own. Even welcomed Logan with open arms. Her brothers are handfuls, but Logan helps with that too, which I appreciated very much. An emotional epilogue and a hea.
