    Ok, I was really enjoying this until the OW drama, and it’s been so long since I’ve read a book with OWD that it frustrated me. In saying that though, the way that Lex presented the drama was a lot more conniving then what I use to read.

    Rider was sweet. He’s just trying to make the most of his life and enjoy it like he never could back home.

    Gabby has been on her own - in a way, since her parents died when she was little. She’s never really had anyone looking out for her or been there for her, so it’s hard for her to be open sometimes.

    But Rider and Gabby work. As they start to let down their walls with each other and understand their vulnerabilities it doesn’t take them long to fall in love with each other.

When he does mess it up his inner dialogue scenes are the best and I love how hard he works to make things right. Ryder is the perfect protective alpha hero and the way he treats his daughter and Gabby is swoon worthy and makes this an amazing book!

    I hope this turns into a series about all the other guys in the football house and we get to see everyone's HEA, especially Sienna!

    This was such a great read, it was different and a lot more complex and emotional than I thought it would be. Gabby was amazing, with a rough childhood, she became an all around beautiful person. I don't know many that could act as adult as she did in many situations. Rider as well, was an all around good guy, I did hold it against him with how he did Gabby wrong, but then fell in love with him the way he stepped up. Im still on the fence with her brother and hope we get more with his story. I fell head over heels for all the secondary cast in this story, what a strong friend group, who all came together when times got rough. I was up and down, happy and sad, but I loved how they figured it out and got there happily ever after.
