I can’t believe in a million years since i found this author that I will give one of her books a low stars. Or didn’t like the book. Cause this book right here is really a big disappointment🥲 I can’t believe i even writing this down and saying this… Cause it’s been months since i found this author that I’m obsessed with her books! You can read my reviews and tell that I’m really in love with her books! So I’m not saying this because I don’t have a good reason… I do have a good reason😭 And hopefully the next book after this will be better than this one cause this one really disappoint me ☹️☹️☹️☹️ I still have hopes for the next book🙏🏼 I will not give up from this author😅
Cause I usually when I read a bad book, i usually really stops reading the books like totally put them on my blacklist lol. But this one I will not do that cause I still have hope for the next book 🤩

THE HERO was obsessed with the heroine since he first saw her when she was half naked in her room because he was searching for his sister. The heroine was obsessed with him too because of that, i think it was love at first sight. But sadly the hero was maybe stupid because he ignored and put a distant between them since that time. He said he wants to give her the freedom so that’s why he didn’t claimed her right away…. HE PUT THAT DISTANT FOR FOUR FVCKING YEARS. Yes you read that right, FOUR YEARS. In that four years he stalk her and have his men to stalk her too and shoo all the males who tries to flirt or date her in those years. He did the same thing as well though. In those years he never touch other woman. “I haven’t touched another woman since you.”. They meet again after four years… WHEN THEY MEET AGAIN, then it started to be official between them. Like the hero really date her officially…. The hero here, when he was dating the heroine officially after years of waiting to be with her. When they date it was very beautiful and magical for them seriously. It was going very hot and well and so romantic. They travel around the world, exploring and do all kind of romantic things together as a couple. It was so freakin beautiful to read that… BUT ONE DAY when the hero was waiting on the heroine at his hotel, the heroine come up to his room and found him having a BJ by someone else. Turns out that someone else was sent by his criminal father to set the hero up so the heroine will saw all of that. The hero’s dad drugged the hero’s drink and it made him unconscious… when the hero was unconscious, the woman came up and BJ him. The heroine saw that but immediately went away… The hero wake up the next day and found out that the heroine left the country from his little sister. She really went away and told him to never contact her ever again. she didn’t tell her the reason why or what she saw because the heroine thought the hero know when he actually didn’t know anything about it because he was drugged…. The hero said yes anyway and didn’t search for her because he respect her wishes. Three months later, the heroine asks him to meet up with her. Before they about to meet, the hero went to take care of business. He went to search on what is actually go down before the heroine left his hotel room and why she was really running away from him. He eventually finds out and hold the people responsible. He torture them a bit. Slow but painful…. He ask the woman and his husband (the one who drugged him and bj him) this: “How far did it go?”
“All the way.”
So I don’t know if that’s only a BJ and or just s3x 😂 The hero didn’t waste any time because he immediately killed them without asking more questions about it. So that’s what disappointment me a lot🥲🥲 It looks like cheating but the hero is unconscious, only his eye is opened but his mind and heart was on something else. The drug was pretty crazy. What made me more annoying cause the heroine felt bad about it when she finds out the truth. Yeah like you supposed to know that is what happened when you have no idea at all girl😂 But the hero also didn’t know what’s going on considering he was drugs but still why put that scene author😓 It so annoying and unnecessary💀💀💀 It made me so annoyed that now I’m too lazy or don’t want to add more about the story with great quotes cause of that scene🥲🥲🥲 The heroine even didn’t made him grovel enough and that is more disappointing 😒😒
The heroine and hero been separated not only one time but two times, one when they weren’t officially and one when they are officially together. Each of that separation lasted for four years so eight years in total. In those years of separation both are very loyal. But still, THAT SEPARATION TIME IT SO LONG AND SO UNNECESSARY 😭😭😭 I hated when couple separated that long even though in the end they got back together but still… Author why that long tho? I don’t like that at all🤮
Also the way heroine was too clingy and too childish about wanting the hero is annoying too. Like she always said the hot words first to him, so clingy af. I want the hero to be like that, not the heroine💩 The hero is of course wants her like that as well and so obsessed and want her so bad and even travel the world where she is to see her spending time with her… all that great things lol. but still I think the heroine here is way too clingy 🥵🥵🥵 IT MADE ME CRINGE COUPLE OF TIMES 😂😂
I want to write more about the book because there are some great words and romance in it… But because there’s that annoying things happening, I lost my interest to write it🤣 I lost my appetite 🤣🤣🤣

Absolutely loved this book! Has all the things that make Eva Winners a go to read for me: well written, a fast pace, and a hero that is all in from day one. The banter is fabulous and Autumn is certainly a girl that doesn't take crap from anyone - to include giant mobsters that want to boss her around. Alessio is obsessive, jealous, and possessive. He's had a difficult life that has kept him emotionally unavailable, except to his sister, but Autumn makes hime FEEL for the first time and he'd do anything to hold onto that, as long as she remains safe. I loved Autumn. I loved how she was a put up or shut up kind of girl when it comes to the things she believes in. I thought it was great how she was willing to hold people accountable for the unexpected results of their misdeeds. Autumn and Alessio both have a lot of guilt to overcome in regards to the path their relationship took and it was wonderful to see how they overcame it together through acceptance and forgiveness. Overall, a fantastic read and the perfect amount of delectable breadcrumbs for the next book!

It's a no for me dawg... honestly I'm just surprised I even finished it.
This book was bad and I am so confused on how there is sooo many 4/5 star ratings. This is supposed to be a mafia book but the MMC.. I don't even know how to describe him.. hes just not it. He's 40 and his father abused him his whole life yet... he doesn't get rid of him... this whole book doesn't make sense. The FMC my golly... ok so let's start from the beginning... she meets MMC on her 18th bday and he's 15 years older than her and he's instantly smitten goes to make a deal with her grandparents for a marriage contract... then waits 4 years to be back in her life...? Uh ok then all of a sudden boom were together.. and I cannot believe that her bff/MMCs sister had no inkling that they were together when he was never around then all of a sudden he's with them every second he can get.. hardly believable. Then she walks in on MMC and then says don't talk to me and he's like 🤷♀️ ok and three months go by and she reaches back out.. why didn't he fight to have answers?!? It doesn't make sense! And then he says mean words and then they don't talk for ANOTHER 4 years.. and if you EVER forget that it's been 4 years... don't worry the author has you covered because it's said 100 times.. no I'm not exaggerating it's in there that many times. It took him four years to finally get rid of his dad... why did it take another 4 years?! He had like 5 people ask if he wants them to take care of it and he said naw dawg I got this. No mafia man I have ever read is like meh I guess she can live without me and I'll be over here miserable.. uh no..
THEN this book could have ended at 80% kid you not.. the last 20% I had to really skim because I was so over this book it was never ending.. and her going over to where a war is.. when you are the primary care taker of a 4 year old... absolutely selfish. If I was Alessio you bet your bottom dollar ill leave you there.. you are immature and selfish and annoying.. I said what I said..

What ever happened to grovelling!
This book was going good then he fucked up and some how thought time was an appropriate enough apology.
No grovelling no begging just time.
The art of grovelling has been lost, in reality and now in books.
Also this idea that the book peaks at 60-80% then rushes to wrap up the book is annoying and amateur. The peak of this book should’ve been him getting drugged and cheating under the influence and her finding out she’s pregnant but apparently she gets kidnapped by the Taliban. What level of tomfoolery is this?
Second book i’ve read from this author and it’s safe to say I won’t be reading any more.

What a deliciously enthralling introduction to this new to me mafia and her sprawling but enticing mafia world. Dominant alpha men,innocent but stealing heroines, superb pacing, and great tonal contrasts. This was an easy story to devour!
So many amazing tropes in here that are my catnip- mafia, instalove now second chance, virgin heroine, hyper controlling alpha, a significant age gap, and oh hello secret baby!! I loved this fast-paced, steamy, and action packed love story between Alessio and Autumn- one that has spanned the ages.Even with all the characters and story packed in here, we have plenty of space for some emotional and heartbreaking moments too. And, some funny ones as well.
Time and misunderstandings have kept these two apart, but Alessio stops at nothing to win back his love, and the child he never knew he had. I really loved Eva Winner’s take on a mafia hero- he’s got edge, he’s got darkness, but he’s really all-in when it comes to romance. He’s really so yummy- over the top possessive, hyper jealous, and insanely obsessed with Autumn. He’s hard to the world, but his heart beats for her. Dark swoons! And Autumn is a strong and likable character, despite actions she made when she was younger that with a bit more maturity could have been handled differently and MIGHT have resulted in a different few years- but hey, that would ruin the fun. She definitely has the strength to stand beside a man like Alessio, and she sure does not take in ISH from anyone. Their chemistry is delicious- steamy, a bit edgy, with some heart and banter in the mix. These two have to get over some of their past baggage, but I loved watching them do it together.
This story can be read as a standalone but is part of an interconnected series, and from what others are saying, also features characters from her prior books. I had no problem diving all in, and I certainly have a few characters I’m either hoping to go back and revisit OR will be awaiting their upcoming story.

This follows Autumn who plans on travelling the world making a difference and taking meaningful Photographs after finishing college. On the night of her 18th birthday, she shares with her best friend a man stormed into her place while she was getting change. Little did she know that man would be her best friend’s brother Alessio who would change her life path forever.
This book kept me gripped by the prologue. Characters, plot and spice were fantastic. The audiobook in duet narration is brilliant and so worth it if you pick this up. I like the time jumps from Autumn being 18, 22 then 26 throughout the book. I love how Autumn stands her ground against Alessio and fights back. With a beautiful creative outlet and fighting for what’s right. Alessio this man is so loyal, protective and possessive of what is his. The spicy scenes and Aidden Snow as narrator was illegal I was screaming. The only thing I wish which is a personal preference is she easily let him back in. I would have loved to see this man grovel or make him work for her back.
This was a rollercoaster storyline and I can’t wait to pick the next book up.

Eva Winners' writing style is white engaging, even when I don't quite like the sub plots, i find myself hooked into the book.
This is Autumn and Alessio's story. Alessio was fell in love with Autumn the first time he met her, he was obsessed with her. I don't want to go into much details since I am not sure what counts as a spoiler, so i will simply talk about the things i liked and disliked about the book.
I genuinely loved the writing style. It was very easy flowing, the words aren't childish or difficult to read and understand.

I liked Alessio's dedication to be a better man for Autumn. He knew he was part of a corrupted system and he wanted to be a better person so that Autumn's good was actually for something.
I also liked Autumn's dedication to bring justice to the less privileged people and how vocal she was about it. She didn't care if it was a mafia don.
I think the insta love thingy was kind of a put off. I wanted a bit more... Idk a development in their relationship.
The virgin thingy was also very weird. They already have a huge age gap, this virgin thing always kind of makes me feel idk werid.
I wish Autumn had more depth in her. It just felt flat.

I love Eva Winners's stories!!! And I was waiting for Alessio Russo's turn since the moment I met him back on Luciano... To be totally honest with you, I was kind of disappointed that we wouldn't be a part of the Belles and Mobsters series, but Alessio belongs in another category and I am excited to learn more for his 'family'!!!
Add to that, his little sister's much younger best friend, Autumn and an explosive result happened!!!
This was a very beautiful story with a very tortured past, a second chance romance with a secret baby and much intensity!!! What else a girl like me can ask???

Autumn as many of Eva's heroines seemed like a damsel in distress, but this girl had power inside of her... She was a badass in her own way and her beliefs to humanity were so strong that could land her in the middle of destruction...

Also, I need to add that I loved very much Autumn's parents and the friendship that she had with Branka....

I LOVED Alessio’s character! He was this bad mafioso in the outside, but inside he was a tortured and loving soul who would do anything for the ones he loved. Even when he does something apparently reproachable, it was to protect others. My first impression of Autumn was “another teen dripping bravado”, but I’m so glad she grew and turned into a FMC I enjoyed reading.
I loved everything in this book, but two little details. The kid+mafia factor and the rescue op in the end, because it could have been (it should have been) avoided completely if Autumn had thought for one second.
I hope I can read Sasha’s and Branka’s book soon, because I’m already excited to get to know them better.

Technically a DNF for me because I did a massive amount of skimming. This author seems
To be stuck On H’s that are too dumb to figure it out that the kid is his… even though the H later says he looks like his twin when he was a kid, And the bfff who
Practically lives with the h and is super close to
Her brother the H can’t figure out the child
Is her nephew??? I guess this isn’t as bad as the other book I read by this author where it took the guy most of the book to figure that shiz out. Then we have the fact that the book peaks right after the 50 percent mark when the H is supposedly cia…. But that angst is wasted, in fact all the cheating angst is wasted and no grovel Is necessary because the H is celibate when not with the h… celibate for years. As if the dual mafia trope isn’t enough guess what the author uses to eat up some pages? The h is on the run from the Taliban for 3 months.while newly pregnant… As another reviewer said, What kind of tomfoolery is this???? Just throw everything you have at us authors. I need a new shelf for authors who throw everything into one book including the kitchen sink.

Me encantó.
Tiene todo lo que busco en un dark romance: personajes complejos con un pasado que los forme y justifique, una trama que enganche, (que pasen cosas), spicy en su justa medida y un obligado final feliz.
Muy bien perfilados los protagonistas y los secundarios.
Amé que Alessio la quiera proteger y no sea un egoísta. Me gusta que sea vulnerable y que sus sentimientos estén presentes. Un soplo fresco ante tanto "mía, mía, mía " y esos mafiosos fríos y mecánicos que abundan.
Quizá lo que menos me convence es el instant love, pero en este tipo de libros es un trope común.
Otra cosa floja fue que, convenientemente para la trama, el no sepa de ella por 4 años, dudoso en estos mafiosos que controlan todo, pero bue.
Me gustó que haya una especie de "mensaje", más allá de la romantizacion de la situación, se muestra el lado feo, las consecuencias del submundo de la mafia.
Una lectura fácil, con mucho gancho y una historia bien armada.
Lo recomiendo.

Contract of a billionaire is a MUST READ. Mrs. Eva. is AMAZING! She writes the best mafia men, and I can say Alessio is going to be a handful, and he's dominant as hell just like we like 🥵🥵🥵

The ages make absolutely no sense in the book, I’m so confused to the point I literally can’t finish the book. It’s concerning that the author, beta, any editor missed something so basic and important.
1. Heroine and Hero’s sister are the same age
2. He is fifteen years older
3. At age her 18 when they met he would have been 33
4. In chapter 2 we learn heroine is now 22, which would mean hero is 37, possibly 36
5. But we also lean in chapter 2 that hero is presently 35.
I know this may be a minor thing to some, but when important details like this are incorrect, I literally have zero desire to continue reading.

This book is fast paced, intense, anxiety inducing, hot and compulsive. I couldn't stop reading. Alessio's attraction to and burgeoning devotion to, Autumn, is one which attracts danger, fear and separation. I loved it. Their age and maturity difference is resolved through use of time andexperience. Autumn has a difficult journey in front of her. Alessio's ruthlessness is tempered by the heart within. Their being together is inevitable as long as they can overcome the obstacles life and the interference of those of ill intent. Fabulous! 💖💖💖💖💖

Missed the mark for me
I loved this book up until about thr 50% mark. I ended up DNF'ing at 70%. I'm not really sure where the story was trying to go but I just wasn't loving it or following.

What an incredible and emotional book. The life Alessio has had makes your heart break for him. His birth father wasn’t around and the cruel man that raised him was vile and abusive to him, his sisters and his mom.
Alessio has wanted Autumn since she was barely 18, he agreed to an arranged marriage with her even. For years they were seeing each other until his father set it up to make it look like he cheated on her and she saw. She left and refused to talk to him. Months later when she found out she was pregnant she tried to go to him and tell him. But knew the man wouldn’t stop coming for her and he couldn’t walk away from her, so he made her hate him. For 4 years she stayed away, until the monster was dead, and she returned. This time Alessio wasn’t letting her go, her and her little boy were his.
This has me hooked, I couldn’t put it down. It had a lot of my favorite tropes… mafia, age gap, secret baby.

the first 50ish% was like straight crack. then he found out about Kol and i just didn’t completely vibe with the pacing of how all the information from both sides unfolded. i wouldn’t necessarily call it miscommunication, but the two MC’s definitely should’ve sat down and talked it all out way earlier than they did- instead of revealing bits and pieces of information here & there, in my opinion. overall very thrilling, and that last 20% caught me off guard. i knew something bad was coming but would never have put money on the scenario that actually played out. i’ll definitely continue the series, although i may need to go back and read some of eva winner’s other books so i have a better idea/understanding of all the other couples mixed up in this mafia universe.

Alessio & Automn. I liked this book a lot. It’s a mix of instalove and slower rhythm as the story progresses because of reasons I won’t mention to avoid possible spoilers.
I wasn’t convinced about their chemistry but I appreciated the angst.
I liked both the MCs. I can’t understand how Automn could be so reckless though. Alessio made some mistakes for sure but I think he was a great MMC. He loved her so much.
It’s best if you read the books in the suggested order, it will make the experience a lot better. Sasha’s story makes more sense now.

Im new to this author and I am excited to read more. This is an age gap Dark Romance done right. One of the first little sister‘s best friend books that didn’t give me the ick!

As a (fairly) seasoned reader of Ms. Eva Winners, I'm always curious when approaching her next read if it's going to live up to her lawless 5-star author status I've personally bestowed upon her. Surely even for a run of five star reads, the luck has to run out sometime. Right? Wrong. Eva's luck continues here in Contact of a Billionaire , book one in the Billionaire Kings series.
If you've read Eva Winners before, you'll be familiar with the name Alessio Russo. If not, the latter name will be familiar with those who've read Sins of the Orchid , starring Amore Bennett's and Santino Russo. Alessio does not feature in the book, but that is where the Russo family name may be familiar to some of you.
Before I get into the nitty gritty (without spoiling anything), let me lay down for you all what tropes you're in for with Contract of a Billionaire :

Some tropes from the list have been kept secret, as they could potentially spoil it for those who've yet to read the story but let me tell you this...these aren't all of the tropes. What you'll actually read will contain this and so much more! This is a girth read, and like the man in it, there's plenty to offer within.
As you might of seen from the list of tropes, we're back with another Eva Winners mafia romance read. That, by no means, is a complaint. In fact, it's far from that. The mafia romance genre is perhaps what readers may know Eva most for and are familiar with in her works, and it's an area she very much exiles in and owns in her own right. There are tons of authors out there who produce countless books within this genre, with some echoing other reads quite closely in terms of subject matter, yet this isn't the case here with Eva. Contract of a Billionaire only reinforces the belief I carry about her. Contracts and billionaires go hand in hand and have been used and interpreted in numerous ways by other authors, but Eva gives us a story and then some that quite frankly, outshines the 'competition' as it were. This is no simple story about a contract and a billionaire, its a complex web of unending twists, turns, surprises and everything I've come to know and love about Eva.
'Then all hell broke loose'
It most certainly did. When I read this line in the blurb which finished it off with an air of open-ended mystery, I wondered to myself just how all hell would break loose and what it would take for peace and happily ever afters to be restored. I'm yet to not be blown away at how things are brought back around to that point. Things, at first, seem like they're getting further and further away from that glorious HEA but as always, Eva's adept skill never fails to bring that moment around at the appropriate moment. Even if we get a momentary 'gasp' moment before said sweet HEA finally happens. All in all, Eva has us--and me--hooked on every word until we know reach the climactic HEA.
And of course, an Eva Winners read wouldn't be one without a flashback bringing us back around to the present moment when we first join the story. No spoilers on that moment, or how long it took to get back to the present point, but I was looking forward to this and I wasn't disappointed in what happened to bring us back around there. Eva herself, never disappoints.
Contract of a Billionaire is officially up there with my top read of 2022, and an Eva Winners must read for anyone looking for everything that makes me proud to be a reader in this bookish community, and is most definitely worthy of being on everyone's bookshelves!
