ARC Review

Overall rating: 4⭐️
Spice: 🌶🌶

First, thank you to the author for this wonderful opportunity. I liked the book. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Second, I like Evy's character development towards the end of the book. It shows that she is starting to mature and learning to stand up for herself.

Third, I wish the author could have made Evy's friends and Jay grovel and earn her trust and respect instead of just saying sorry, especially in Kate's situation. Because after all the rude things they said to her, even when she was trying to make amends or just sitting on one side, I feel that sorry is not enough. Yes, Evy was wrong when she behaved the way she did in the first book, but she wasn't as mean as the others were.

Fourth, I didn't like how both the main characters keep going back and forth. They fight, then they make up and then fight again. The cycle keeps repeating itself. However, I am happy that Jay finally started to act like an adult towards the end of the book.

I did like the scenes between Strawberry and Jay, and I do wish there were more. I also liked the scenes between Mikey and Evy. I do wish there are more scenes of them and show the development of their relationship. I feel like he will try his best to protect her and stand up for her. I feel like they would have a good brother and sister relationship in the future

I'm so happy Evy and Jay got their second chance. It was touch and go a few times throughout, and I was so annoyed Jay struggled to accept the truth, but it showed their character growth over the 6 years and the impact from their separation and all the trauma.
They definitely had a spicy reconnection, even with all the angst and hateful tension, and it shows their soulmate chemistry.
That ending though, definitely setting the scene for future sinister drama!

The Art of Loving Someone so much that you escape them

Firstly thank you Emberlynn for sending me this as an ARC having read the first one I was impatiently waiting for the second instalment. Book 2 picks up from the Cliff hanger of Book one.

Evy hasn't seen Jay in over 6 years when their paths cross very unexpectedly and we are transported back to the old days
Jay isn't the 17 year old boy anymore and his rockstar status has moulded him into an unrecognizable man, Evy has been fighting her own battles and trying to find her way in the world since the events of book one From Me to You.

I had soo many emotions reading this book, i loved it, i hated it, i wished it was over, i wished it carried on and i fell in love all over again you have put me through the emotional ringer

This book ends on a cliffhanger again!!!! Emberlynn please dont wait too long before the next book

I was looking forward to reading this after the cliffhanger at the end of book 1 but ultimately things it's just not for me.

Although it started off promising, I had the same frustrations with this book as I did with book 1.

The dialogue between characters still felt quite immature despite them being in their mid 20s. There was so much miscommunication/lack of communication, way too much of it. One minute the main characters are arguing over a misunderstanding with the FMC wanting to explain, then in the following chapter when she's given the chance to explain, she decides she doesn't want to, but for no apparent reason. The push and pull between them felt annoying rather than tension building.

Again I did feel like this had more 'tell' rather than 'show' for the reader, so I still didn't feel that connected to any character. They felt quite fickle in how they treated each other but the most likeable one for me was Mikey as he was at least consistent with his personality and outlook/opinions of others.

Some of the conflicts felt very easily solved for me, especially after they were driving forces for the plot. This made their book less exciting for me personally.

I recieved an ARC of this book, this is my honest review.

So I have been patiently waiting for this one since I read the ARC of the first book and my god did this live up to all of my expectations. It honestly took me on an emotional rollercoaster. From the beginning of this book I was drawn in , and I absolutely loved it . Evy and Jay found their way back to one another and they were so cute and it made me me so happy and also their bestfriends also were a very important aspect of this book and there was so much character development for all of them since the last book and I ate it up. Also the ending 🫣. I was shocked as ever, the cliffhanger was insane. Honestly I love these books so much and I can’t wait to read more about Evy and Jay and the others because that will be so fun . Thankyou so much emberlynn for the Arc it was incredible.

Please note: If you haven’t yet read From Me to You, I suggest not reading my review yet to prevent any potential spoilers.

(The first three books in the Four Foxes series center around Evy and Jay’s story and should be read in order.)

I thought From Me To You really put me through the wringer when I read it, especially with that crazy cliffhanger. However, Emberlynn Raine’s second book, From You To Me, distressed me even more. Any author who makes me want to hurl my Kindle due to the actions of the characters is doing something right because I’m really into the story. (Rest assured, my Kindle is safe, but my husband had to listen to my complaints about a certain MMC treating the FMC terribly while I was reading this book. Poor guy, but he’s used to it.)

My thoughts: I was uncertain about how Emberlynn Raine would transform Evy and Jay’s love story after what happened in the first book, especially since they were now enemies. However, I trusted her process. This installment really put me through an emotional wringer. It wasn’t easy to read Evy’s point of view after what she endured and see how Jay was treating her in this book compared to the first, especially considering she still had feelings for him. If there is one thing I noticed in From You To Me, it is that Evy has grown a lot since the first book. I was proud of her character, even if intially I thought she made the wrong call in book one.

I really appreciated that Emberlynn included Jay’s point of view in this book because I needed insight into his feelings and perspective on everything that was happening. He had definitely grown and changed since the first book. He wasn’t the same Jay as in the first book, and the way he treated Evy was horrible, but I knew eventually, the truth would come out, and he would have to win her back. It takes a bit because Evy won’t make it easy for him. Jay is one MMC; you’re going to love and hate and love again. (At least, that is what happened to me while reading the first two books in the series.)

The best part of this book was when the person who truly caused the break up of Jay and Evy was dealt with in a way that put them on the spot. (Yes, I’m being vague because I don’t want to risk spoiling the story.) I’m glad Evy and Jay and the rest of the Four Foxes are back together and can’t wait to reat the next book, which is the last in Evy and Jay’s story. Yes, this book ends on a cliffhanger again, so fair warning. The next book should give us incite on who actually targeted Evy at the end of the first book and I’m anxious to find out who did it.

Single/Dual POV: Dual POV

Cliffhanger: Yes.

Would I recommend this book/series? Yes. If you enjoy New Adult Rockstar Romances that will tug at your heartstrings and have you rooting for the characters to sort out their issues and find happiness together, then check out From You To Me. Just be sure to read the first book, as it will put you through an emotional rollercoaster, too.

ARC Review

There are not enough stars for this book. It picks up right where we left off with book number 1 and is book 2 of a trilogy so be warned, this one ends on a cliffhanger too.

Jay and Evy meet again (6 years have passed) when Jay has moved to New York and finds Evy as his housekeeper. He is not at all pleased about her re-appearance in his life and boy does he let her know. His hurt is so beautifully written in this book. You can truly see the way he treats her genuinely comes from a place of true hurt, a hurt caused by the one person you loved most in the world. Of course, we as the reader know that Evy didn't do what Jay thinks she did but he doesn’t know that. Evy's life has not been kind to her and I'm going to be honest, I came out of book 1 thinking it was going to be really difficult for Evy to forgive Jay and their wider friend group especially as she thought they abandoned her but it is all explained and tied up beautifully. I would love to say more but I don't want to spoil the story.

Despite this couples separation being caused by White she does not play a big role in this book and I actually really loved that. The majority of the book focuses on Jay and Evy and their re-connecting, the realisation the feelings never went away and also the truth coming out and their feelings knowing what they thought was real wasn't. It's primarily written from Evy's POV but we do get some snippets of Jay's, it worked so well.

The love that Jay has for Evy is carried through this book, that epic once in a lifetime stuff and I was here for it.

I did feel like Katy got off too lightly, I'd have liked to have seen Evy make her grovel a little more for forgiveness.

I cannot wait for book 3 to see this all tied up and the mystery solved!

Favourite Quotes:

"I lost myself because of you. You left me a broken, desolate man, Evelyn, trying to pick up the pieces you shattered"

"I might share my body with you, but I won't share my heart with you. Never again, Evelyn. I promised myself that."

"Even though she destroyed me, I wanted her to be happy and safe, not this broken shell of a person."

"You are all I ever wanted, Sweetheart. I promise I'll do everything in my power to make sure nothing hurts us again."

"I've only ever wanted you, and I'll only ever want you. That is something that will never change."

I was excited to learn that Emberlynn Raine picked me to get an ARC of her upcoming book! I have never read anything by her, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was really glad that she sent the first book as well, From Me To You. I was able to read that one and then move on to the next one. You definitely need to read book one before book two!

Omg! The way that Emberlynn painted this beautiful love story was utterly magical. The bond between Evy and Jay seemed to be one that was unbreakable. From the moment they set eyes on each other, they knew their souls would be enter twined forever.

The hurt and utter devastation that Cece White caused completely shattered me. My heart ached for both Evy and Jay. Both Evy and Jay became shells of their former selves. Evy thought she was making Jay’s dreams come true by letting him go during to the vindictive actions of White.

From You To Me picks up where Evy is in NYC and barely getting by. She is hired (unknowingly) to be a maid at Jay’s penthouse apartment. When Jay first see’s her, he is furious. Ugh…this book shattered my heart. Evy and Jay were so young when they fell in love. They were easily manipulated and lacked communication and in turn lost six years of each other.

It wasn’t easy for them to come back together. Evy was so hurt that Jay didn’t believe her when she told him the truth about White and her manipulation. Communication and trust was broken. Evy was a sad, lonely soul. Honestly, I was surprised she had it in her to continue on in her life. Thankfully Gabe was able to rescue her and bring her to NYC.

My emotions were all over the place. Emberlynn was able to draw me into her book and paint the most heartfelt love story. Tissues were needed so much for this book! I ugly cried multiple times!

I don’t usually give out 5 stars easily! I save those for my most memorable books that I know will stay with me for a long time. This book was most definitely worth ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I was easily engrossed in this book and could not put it down! The only thing that upset me is that there is a to be continued at the end and now I have to wait for book three!!

Great job Emberlynn! Thank you so much for allowing me the great pleasure of reading your book! I most definitely will be reading more from you!

Some books speak to your soul, and From You to Me screamed into mine with a force I couldn’t ignore! Starting with the cliffhanger of with Me to You, this second volume takes place six years later, yet because of how electric and unforgettable Evy and Jay's relationship is, it doesn't feel like time has gone. The story's design engaged me with its smooth flow. Like a hurricane, their reunion is unanticipated unfiltered, and rife with emotions that leave you feeling cold. The way that Emberlynn's writing establishes the perfect plot between heartbreak and hope, merging Jay's rage and Evy's calm fortitude into each scene with palpable tension, is fascinating.
.
The chemistry between Jay and Evy is tremendous; it erupts every second they spend together, whether it be in delicate vulnerability or rage. Because you know that Jay's love for Evy has never faded, you can feel the magnitude of his grief and how heartbreaking it is when he snaps at her. Evy, however, is a force of quiet strength who bears the weight of truth while managing a life full of problems. As the past comes to light and secrets are revealed, their reunion is chaotic, poignant, and incredibly fascinating. You'll find yourself obsessively turning pages in an attempt to discover how these two will reconcile. They seem to earn every instant of their connection, and it's amazing to see how their relationship has developed.
.
The Author brilliantly approaches the second-chance romance trope, creating a story that rivets you from start to finish. The supporting cast members offer warmth, comedy, and epiphanies while enhancing the plot without overpowering Jay and Evy. Particularly impressive are Mikey and Lily, who provide glimmers of affection and devotion that emphasize the concept of the new family. With every word, gesture, and movement, Jay's love for Evy shines through and all-consuming. Even though Evy has had a difficult road, it is very amazing how she has managed to stay receptive to love and forgiveness!

Four Foxes Book Two

Holy shit! I honestly done know how to put this review together, I absolutely devoured both book 1 and 2 in less than 24 hours, As I read both I could see it playing out in my head, every heartbreaking moment of it! And I lapped. It. UP!!

BOOK 1 From Me To You
Is where we first meet Evy after moving to a new school she makes friends with Katy and she quickly introduces her to her friend group. In saunters Emerson Jameson, and it is instant attraction between them she even gives him his own nickname, they very quickly become inseparable, unfortunately things are not always as golden as they seem and Jay gets left behind.

BOOK 2 -From You To Me
After 6 whole years apart Evy comes crashing, quite literally, back into Jay's life, and he hasn't forgotten a single moment of there last encounter and he isn't ready to let her back in

Honestly this is worth every second of consumption, I cannot for book 3 in Evy and Jay's story! As well as exploring the rest of the gang, and the shenanigans that they are up to, Especially Mikey and Lily!

Without giving anymore away I would 110% recommend you give these a read! At your earliest convenience, for fans of Rockstar Romance, Second Chance, Small Town, Friends to Lovers to Hate to Lovers to Friends to Lovers, Found Family, and some beautifully Spicy Scenes.

After the end of book one and that heartbreaking cliffhanger I was dying to get my hands on book two and when I did, I devoured it all at once. I didn’t want it to end but my heart hurt so much for Evy and Jay I wanted them to find their happiness whether that be together or finding closure and going separate ways. Evy has tried so hard to get ahead for only life to drag her down time and time again and once she thinks she can get ahead reality slams her back down and Jay doesn’t help things. Jay is a broken man who still loves the woman who shattered his world, but he refuses to be brought down by Evy again even if she is innocent in it all. My heart hurt so much for Evy because even when her truth is out there not only Jay but her previous best friends don’t really believe her until they are slapped in the faces with it and she deserved so much more than that. I understood why Jay was so jaded but I was glad when he realized how badly he messed up and made it his mission to try to make things better since the pain would still always be there. Even after we get the truth out we are still left with a cliffhanger because someone is determined to make things difficult for these two and no one deserves a happy ending ore than them, so I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one and pleading with the book gods that Jay and Evy get their HEA.

From You to Me by Emberlynn Raine ✨️ arc review ✨️

Alright talk about a roller-coaster of an emotional story 😵‍💫 poor Evy if there was ever a time that I just wanted to jump into a book and wrap my arms around a character 🥺 Jay gave me a surprise soup of multiple different emotions however his character arc and development in this book *mwuah chefs kiss* 🤌😏

Watching Evy and Jay's relationship ebb flow and overcome hurdles just pulled so many heartstrings 😩 not to mention the ✨️SPICE✨️ was ✨️SPICING✨️ something about loathing each other just kind of make the sparks just turn into 🎆🎆 *BOOM* There were so many jaw-dropping scenes that I'm almost 90% sure I looked like a crazy person while reading 🫣 I loved that this book kept me on my toes and that there was never a lack of forehead smacking moments from Jay 😂 (I love that man but sometimes I just stared at the ceiling after reading something he said and was like "why my guy for literally what reason?" 😩🤣)

Also, I gotta give props to Evy 👏👏 homegirl has a mean right hook, and honestly, she's such a queen for that 👑 (gotta read the book to find out why 🤭)

After leaving us on that cliffhanger in the last book, we picked up right where we left off.

I read this book over a day and a night, and I was crying throughout most of it. I really hope Jay would come around to evie being there but he was mean, hurtful and distrusting of her being there.

I felt for Evie all through the book, thinking it can't get much worst than she had already been through, but with the hate Jay throws her way I think it did.

When they are together you can see the love they have, and the fact that they both pretty much waited for each other 😍😍😍.

I really enjoyed this reading this book, especially crying into my pillow for them and their situation!

I hate Cece, but glad the others were accepting Evie, back into the fold again she needs them all.

I really want to read Mike and Lily's story!!!

I thought oh this might wrap up their story, as I was nearing the end, but nope Emberlynn just had to throw another spanner in the works.

I can't wait for the next book to come out!!

It’s been six years since LA and everything that went down between Evy and Jay. Evy finds herself literally on her knees in front of him, begging him not to fire her. What comes next is a tumultuous few months of Evy working for Jay, trying to explain what really happened back in LA and falling into bed together. But will the full truth finally come out? Will Jay believe Evy? And can they move on from what happened?

I am so caught up in this world right now! I’m hoping we’re at their happily ever after but knowing there’s another book in this trilogy makes me believe we still have so much more to go through! Jay was so cruel to Evy through most of this book but from his side you can totally understand why. I really liked seeing his perspective this time round and seeing what was going on in his head. I can’t wait to start the next one so I can see how their story plays out and how it ends!

My god, Emberlynn did an amazing job with these 2 books.
The first one read straight from the mind of a teenager, a girl who is a little lost and a little awkward. Young love is awkward and all consuming, and when that love breaks, it breaks a piece of your heart along with it.
With the second it's read from the perspective of two grown adults still hurt and hardened from a life where hearts were never put back together and sometimes when a band aid is placed atop a wound so damaged the scars come out jagged and rough unable to be healed properly. Those scars are served as reminders of the suffering you once experienced, that hurt that never truly goes away. I'm excited for book 3 because the mystery is deepened when they find out that what broke them apart may not be as black and white as they thought.

This is the 2nd book in the series & a continuation of Evy & Jay 6 years later. No matter what they do they still keep ending up in each other’s lives even when they don’t want to be. They both still love each other but with tensions high & communications lacking it’s very difficult. There is a lot of angst& conflicting feelings. Evy finally gets the guts to explain what happened 6 years ago it’s a very raw and emotional moment and Jay doesn’t believe her so this creates new pain & hurt feelings. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series because this ends on a cliffhanger. The chemistry between Jay & Evy is on fire! I truly think they are meant to be but I guess we will have to wait for the 3rd book for all the answers. I received this book as an ARC & I’m leaving an honest review of the book. Thank you to @authoremberlynnraine & @theautho.agency for the opportunity.

Ahah!! Can it please be 2025 or ready because I need more!!! I mean I did not know that this would end of a cliffhanger and that Evy & Jay would be getting a another book! I’m so happy that they are, but damn I want it now ❤️

I love these characters, I love that in this book the secrets from book one finally were revealed! I love how Evy stood her ground and boundaries with Jay towards the end of the book.

And oh my Evy & Jay are the definition of true love and soulmates. I just adore them as a couple.

Book 2 was just as well written as the first one. It had spice, it had hate to love, and second chance which i absolutely love.

Highly recommended reading this series, especially if you like rockstar romance and fated soulmates! 💕

My god, where do I even start 😍

From you to me, is book 2 of the series and it all follows the same couple through out, and oh my how I love love loved this. Book one had me completely hooked and book 2 oh it did not disappoint!! It was beautiful, enchanting and entirely heartbreaking all at the same time.

The titles to the various parts in the book 🫶🏻 ‘the art of loving someone so much that you escape them’ this one most certainly was my favourite.

It’s been 6 years since they’ve seen eachother, Evy gave up everything for the one boy she loved to ensure he got all his dreams, but he is no longer the same boy she met. Evy has been fighting her own battles to make a life for herself since the events of book one.

I honestly loved all the emotion, heartache, and reconnecting in this book. I loved, cried and also devoured this book instantly as the way the mc’s were portrayed in this book was just incredible, but MY GOD…
The cliffhanger????
I need the next book asap I honestly just can’t wait any longer to find out what happens to one of my favourite book couples to date! 🩷

Thank you so much for allowing me to be one of your arc readers I honestly well and truly enjoyed every single second of both books 🥰

This is the second book in this impressive series, and Evy and Jay’s journey continues.
Evy has a new life and new beginning, but she is just going through the motions and now really living. It has been six years since Evy and Jay last saw each other, and fate has destined them to cross paths in the most unexpected way.
This story ends in a whammy of a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to read the next book!
This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with found family, angst, hate / love, fated soulmates, secrets, trust, second chances, revelations, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and gripping, rockstar romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

From you to me is the sequel of “From me to you” and is the second book of the “Four foxes series.”
We follow along the love journey of Evy and Jays, if you didn’t read the first you have to read is to understand this second one.
If you read the first you know how much they love each other and for me the end was a struggle to read. This second one follows the story and I couldn’t be more happy. Following their story we understand how much they love each other. If you are looking for tropes they are:
Forced proximity, Second chance, hate to love, Rockstar romance.

This is the second book in Jay and Evy’s trilogy and it brings these two back together after six years apart.

This story will pull at your heartstrings, as they are both still so angry from the past and their heartbreaking fallout. Jay’s treatment of Eve when she appears suddenly in his life comes from a place of deep hurt (book one in this series). And Evy thinks Jay and her friends abandoned her. Her forgiveness was given too easily imo.

The love that they carried for each other through the years shows in the interactions.

Another emotional rollercoaster as we pick up from book one. Evy and Jay have found their way back, but it is not an easy path. They have grown some, but we are more in their heads this time around, perspective can change my feelings quickly.

I like how Evy makes Jay work for her attention. Also love and hate is a fine line.

This book also ends on a cliff, but I am waiting on book three to give us the answers we crave.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

And the story of Evy and Jay is the roller coaster ride of emotions.

That type of love is very rare means the moment they set eyes on each other u can feel the love they had for each other

I am obsessed with Evy and Jay's story.

Six years is a long time to carry such a heavy secret but Evy does it until fate steps in and throws her back into Jay's life.

All the twists and turns that lead them back to each other add to the heartbreak and angst. When it's meant to be it's meant to be.

Book 1takes them from lovers to enemies
This one takes them back from enemies to lovers. Can't wait to find out what is in store for them in book 3... especially after the mysterious ending.

This book was torture. I felt for Evy so much, she just wants to move on and her heart just wont let her. Jay has tried and I think he has allowed his heart to crust up so he can be the rock star. These two come back together and it is explosive. They are both angry, they both think they know the story but they don't, and they are always together whether they like it or not. They go through a huge battle and many difficult conversations. It was a very emotional story and there's more coming.

Wow!! Absolutely devoured this book!

I was so excited to continue Evy and Jay’s story especially after the cliffhanger in book 1. This book was full of twists, love and emotions - literally had me crying! I really felt for Evy and being able to hear her story more in this book is something I enjoyed. Don’t want to give away any spoilers - but definitely recommend reading if you love the characters especially Evy & Jay!
