Yes, I read this series out of order. I actually started with the third book in this trilogy, however it could be read as a standalone and I ADORED it! I loved Jack and with this, I had to go back and read the previous two about his lovable older brothers as well. This romance story followed the oldest Montgomery brother, Ford, and his undeniable crush on the baker, Harley. Ford is the CEO of the multi-million dollar company - Montgomery Media - With his brothers pestering and agreeance, they decided to lease the shop premises on the ground floor to upcoming star 5 star baker - Harley DeLuca. This is where Ford and Harley begin their friendship by being business partners and hanging out each early morning. This friendship then becomes quite close where they start to rely on each other, slowly heading towards a relationship. Until both their pasts come to light, tying their present together in more ways then one. Well. I enjoyed this book. But, Ford doesn't have the charisma that Jack had. When I read "The Rebel", I was crazy addicted to both the hero and the heroine, otherwise unfortunately I found myself not connecting with Ford or Harley. Yes, I enjoyed their banter and love for each other, but didn't feel the chemistry that Jack and Monroe definitely had. However, I did GASP at the unpredictable story line (quietly angry at myself I didn't pick it!), and highly enjoyed how that storyline evolved and ended. The epilogue was CUTE! And it opened the gateway to the sequel book about Harrison perfectly. Overall, it was a 3.5 Star read for me. Read on kindle unlimited.

    This is my first book by this author and I thought it was beyond exceptional. I adored all the characters and this book has definitely set up the subsequent books to come by featuring the two other Montgomery siblings well.
    So much happens in this story, but the most beautiful part for me was that it seemed Ford’s father was looking out for those he loved from the other side.
    Now I have already downloaded the next book to jump into and I cannot wait!!

    This is the first book that I have read by this author and it was absolutely fatalistic. This is the first book in the Montgomery Brothers Series and I can not wait to read the next in line, the next brother. This book will make you laugh and I really enjoyed reading it.

    Harley is a real firecracker and has an awesome personality she is so sassy and she wont let anyone talk down o her and she really sticks up for herself. She is confident, strong minded and beautiful but she also has her own family problems too. She is living her dream finally and has opened up her very own bakery but the thing is she also has investors in Ford and his brothers.

    Ford is the CEO of the company and he is very set in his way and doesn't really like change in his life. He does have a lot of pressure on his shoulders. He has been through a lot himself and this has put him of relationships after being hurt badly.

    I cant believe that this is the first book that I have read by this author and it defiantly wont be the last. This story flows beautifully and the characters were awesome. They both have an awesome amount of chemistry and the way that Ford was protective I loved because ta first I thought he was a total jerk but he completely changed my mind and I loved him. This author really knows how to bring them to life to the reader and I couldn't get enough of them all and they were very relatable. Harley and the brothers. This book has it all the romance, the love the banter was awesome and really made me laugh. I read this book in one sitting as I couldn't put it down I was totally hooked from the beginning and I really cant wait to read the next book in this series because this book is a must read.

    Harley hasn’t had an easy life and Ford was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Ford has met his match with Harley though. She’s smart, witty, sarcastic and she can totally hold her own with him. They drive each other crazy but the sparks fly with them. I love the banter in this book. There is a lot of depth to the characters. You will be rooting for Harley right from the start. Loved this one

    This was a new to me author and first book I've read by her and I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading more.

    Legacy is a well written grumpy/sunshine contemporary romance with a broody billionaire MMC who loves his family and a hardworking FMC who holds her own despite the shitty hand fate has given her.

    Harley gets the opportunity of a lifetime when she manages to successfully land an interview and convince by proposing a business plan to Ford and his brothers where she got to rent a prime location for her dream bakery in Montgomery Media's building.

    While Ford and Harley get off at a rough start as polar opposites, they can't help the attraction and the chemistry they share.

    After they finally give their relationship a chance and things seem to be going good, life throws them a few twists that test their courage and love.

    This story was well paced and didn't feel dragged out and kept me engaged. It was filled with family drama, past trauma, flirty banter, hilarious side characters, antagonists that you hate cause they're so evil, and of course romance and a touch of spice.

    Would highly recommend and will be reading the next book!

    I love books with strong, sassy heroines, and Harley was great example. Add in the stick-up-his-ass hero, Ford, you have a perfect combo. The banter between these two was on point.     Ford is too busy running his media company to need a relationship he has several women on quick dial instead. He and his brothers decide to rent out their ground floor and Harley becomes their tenant. She takes a loan out with the help of her grandfather to make her dream come true and her bakery comes to life. Ford goes in every morning for coffee and she doesnt pander to him telling him he can pour his own coffee. He likes her, she is the first woman who tells him how it is and he can see what a hard worker she is. He wants her but she has told him no each time. When there is danger though he steps in and she then cannot deny him any longer. great start to this series.
