Tillie...

I've loved Isaiah for as long as I can remember, but sometimes love isn't enough. Not when the pull of serving our country is my competition. With no other choice, I rebuild myself and focus my attention on the clients of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood, the people who need the club's help. I even date other guys in an effort to circumvent the heartache. It works for a while but eventually, the past comes back in the form of muscles, tats and so much baggage.

Isaiah is no longer the boy I loved. He's a man that oozes sin and pain. His eyes tell a story that I'm not sure I'm up to hearing. Why then, is it so hard to turn my back on him? And why in the hell is he the only person my soul calls out to when I'm in trouble?

Leaving my family and Tillie was the hardest thing I've ever done. But duty called and I had to answer. Especially if I want to be the president of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood and fill my dad's very large shoes. When a bombing sends me back to the only place I've ever called home, I mistakenly think that everything will magically be the same.

Not only has everything changed, but Tillie has moved on. She's become a woman I don't recognize, a woman who spends her days proving she doesn't need me. But I know her better than she knows herself. And danger lurks in the shadows, threatening her existence, whether she wants to admit it or not. I will stop at nothing to protect her, to show her that we still belong together.

Fighting for my country was my duty. Fighting for Tillie is everything.

    I was pulled into this story right from the get go, which is where I stayed until I had read every single word that was written. I even had my mini movie playing along in my head, which was great.
    There are twists, turns and surprises throughout this book, some of the surprises are large, while others are small, some may actually hit you right between the eye's, while others may pull on your heart strings. But each and everyone hold equal importance within the story.
    Emotions run high throughout the pages of the book and can be felt. I actually went through the emotions along with each of the characters. If your anything like me you might need tissues, I cried a few times during the course of this story.
    I have to admit I loved all three books in this series, but this one is my favourite.
    I highly recommend this book and the Andi Rhodes as an author, I am looking forward to reading more books by her.

    This was a great read, one that quickly pulled me into the story and happy to power through the pages. With plenty packed into the pages, this one had me unable to put it down until I'd seen how everything came together. Well worth the read.

    I really enjoyed this book, the first in the next generation series. The story was strong and the relationship between Isiah and Tillie was great.

    I love the dynamic of this MC and I cant wait to see how the younger ones move it forward.

    Loved book one!! I'm glad that the author doesn't use Tillie as Isaiah's magic PTSD cure... Even if all is not lost between them 😜❤👍
    I knew there was more to a certain someone than meets the eye!!!!

    This is the 1st in a new series of the next generation and is Isaiah and Tillie’s story. When Isaiah left for the military 8-years previously, Tillie begged him to stay and is left heartbroken when he leaves. Now Isaiah has returned home suffering from PTSD, and neither him of Tillie are the people they were before, and they have both made a series of bad choices along the way. Isaiah is sent to court to protect an abused woman during the trial, where he comes across Tillie, who lives for her family, and is now an attorney for those who are unable to protect themselves. This is a well written tale which is raw, gritty, intense, and with heartbreak, emotions, danger, twists, and unconditional love. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all.

I love a great second generation story and this one more than fits the bill. Fantastic to visit with old friends and to see their beautiful children all grown up.     Isaiah and Tillie were always supposed to be, but she lets him go and he does just that he goes. He doesn't realize the unselfish act she provided or the affect it has on her.

    Isaiah comes home mentally damaged, but seeing Tilly again helps him. He knows he's where he needs to be. So much action, so much suspense. This was a great read
