Affection: Isn’t What It Seems (Love Isn't What It Seems Book 4) Kindle Edition
He promised to come back.
He didn’t.
I moved on. Twelve years later he’s back. He claims he wants me back, determined to protect me and my son.
Each vow, every possessive kiss, feels like he’s mine. But he’s not the same man I remembered.
But I can’t forget that underneath his hard body, dark stare, and seductive grin, he’s my undoing.
If he walks away again, I won’t survive it.

- Reviewed in Australia on 29 November 2021I was hooked from the beginning with this 2nd chance love between Daniel and Ainslee, his nightingale.
The pages flew the romance rekindled and grew and the SOB of an uncle has to die – and I’m not even blood thirsty!
Eva Winners knows her romance and especially this genre… and she excels at it. Highly recommended!
I was given a copy of this book and I’m giving a true and honest review.
- Reviewed in Australia on 20 December 2021Affection: Isn’t What It Seems by Eva Winners is the fourth book in the Love Isn't What It Seems series. This book follows Daniel and Ainslee. Ainslee has know and loved Daniel most of her life and when her new husband gambles herself and her son away all she can hope for is for Daniel to come and save her. Its full of surprise moment and I cannot believe that just happened moments ...
This is book filled with lots of dark story lines and plot points about the two main characters to create a well developed story which I will love re-reading. I highly recommend reading this book and finding more by this author. You won't regret it!
I received an ARC of this book and am leaving an honest and voluntary review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Mafia Book
Verified PurchaseEva Winter is becoming one of my favorite authors. I haven't read one of her books that I didn't like. Affection is no different. I loved Daniel in how was his own man and didn't become like his family. I loved how he protected Ainslee. I loved Ainslee for being strong to be with Daniel and not think Nad of him. Good book.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a complimentary copy.

3.0 out of 5 stars spoiler alert
Verified PurchaseI did enjoy this book… Early on we can see that this couple love each other, and I thought it was a nice change from similar books in this genre but there were some issues with the storyline; if you live in the UK or Scotland, you would never refer to a crime as a felony and you would never “ put your foot on the gas “ you would put your foot on the accelerator… lastly I was dumbfounded by how Ainslee dealt with her ex’s murder..
