Taken With You: A Fractured Connections Novella Kindle Edition
It all started at a wedding. Beckham didn’t mean to dance with Meadow. And he really didn’t mean to kiss her. But now, she’s the only thing on his mind. And when it all comes down to it, she’s the only person he can't have.
He'll just have to stay away from her, no matter how hard they’re pulled together.
Running away from her friend's wedding isn't the best way to keep the gossip at bay. But falling for the mysterious and gorgeous bartender at her friends’ bar will only make it worse. Beckham has his secrets, and she refuses to pry.
Once burned, twice kicked down, and never allowed to get up again. Yet taking a chance with him might be the only choice she has. And the only one she wants.
**For fans of Carrie Ann’s Fractured Connections series, Taken With You is book four in that series.**

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 January 2020Another brilliant read from this author. Two people both keeping secrets but wanting each other.
Absolutely loved this book.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2020This is a brilliant end to this series.
Beckham and Meadow both have secrets from their pasts and they don't want them getting out.
I loved how they were together but can they work through their past issues to get to a brilliant future together.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2020I picked this book up and didnt put it down- teo hours later I sighed, smiled and put my kindle down.
Wow we all knew that Beckham could handle himself and hes hinted at a past before, but boy I wasnt expecting that!
And what about Meadows life? What was she hiding/running from?
Here we find out exactly what skeleton each has in their closet.
Finally we get to hear their stories, they might think of themselves as on the outskirts of the family, but to the others they are well and truly a major part of the group.
Loved this book and for once it didnt make me bawling my eyes out.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2020This book is all Meadow & Beckham's story. This book is full of the horror that Meadow went through & how Beckham knew her before. Love the that Dillon seems to be the one that at only 19 to help the rest of the men out, can't wait for his book!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2020Been waiting for Beckham and Meadow's story since we were first introduced to them, and it did not disappoint. I read it all in one sitting and loved it from beginning to end ❤❤
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2020Wow. Talk about having tears and your heartbroken. I sobbed a little through this. This is the fourth book that tells the story of Meadow and Beckham. He a bartender at the Connolly’s pub and she an editor for books. They bother seem to start at the same point in their past.........an MC. Although Beckham didn’t know what she was subjected to, he was there when she was. Hoping she isn’t found she lives her life behind closed doors until a wedding and she kisses Beckham. I really felt for the fear meadow had in remembering what happened and how she got away. Can they both get past their past and live for the future. Loved this book. You could feel the emotions between the two characters and what had happened to them.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2020I enjoyed this book. It was nice to catch up with the Connelly brothers and their ladies, and also to find out how the youngest of the bunch, Dillian was doing. Cannot wait till we get to visit him again.
The main character's pasts were never what i expected them to be which was great, it really took me by surprise. The chemistry between the pair was spot on and he love scenes steamy. Carrie never fails to create a couple I adorr.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 February 2020If you haven't read Carrie's Fractured Connections Series then the 1001 Dark Nights series is a great way to be introduced and you will honestly want to go back and read them.
This is such a beautiful story of getting a new start, putting the past behind them. I loved Beckham and Meadow, their connection was intense and palpable. In each other their found their peace, their home. They just need to see if they can survive the past coming knocking.
It was lovely seeing the Connolly brothers again and their feisty women. This novella was a brilliant addition to this emotional series

5.0 out of 5 stars No More Running
Carrie Ann Ryan packed a lot in this novella. With this one, we get Beckham and Meadow's story. Both are silent souls. They have had a rough life and have been trying to escape the things that are in their past. They are no longer those people. And they are so attracted to each other!!! Something they have tried to ignore but one day they no longer can and just go for it. Things start off fine. That is until one day their past steps into their present. It is just briefly but enough to shake them both up. Now, they have to figure out do they keep moving along with one another or just go their separate ways. That is where their friends come in to play and give them advice and guidance. It is those friends and their strong attraction to one another that they decide that their past does not define who they are now and plunge forward with one another to see where the future takes them and to their HEA. It is a great afternoon read. Totally looking forward to what Ms. Ryan has coming up next for us!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Two damaged souls who smooth each other rough spots
Beckham has a secret. So does Meadow. He knows more about her secrets than she realizes.
Both of them are damaged by their pasts. They have chosen to forge a different future for themselves. Alone.
Except their paths cross at the wedding of mutual friends.
Their past surprises them and forces them to make a choice.
Steamy, sweet, darkness exposed to the light, destiny changed by chance.
I haven't read the series this ties into. It whets my desire to read it now. But it is readable as a standalone.
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great addition to the series
Beckham and Meadow have always had an attraction towards one another although they didn't let anyone know about it, they are also both hiding secret pasts. Pasts that come to light in this story and have you understanding why Meadow is the way she is. What threw me was Beckham's past, and I won't spoil anything about saying anymore about it.
I really liked the way things played out and I loved the way Dillon shared his knowledge with Beckham when needed. Dillon need to hurry up and get older so he can get his own HEA!!!!
Beckham and Meadow's FRACTURED CONNECTIONS story is one that I am so glad we were able to get. I love the 1,001 Dark Nights Series for that reason, we get stories we probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise. It gives lovers of the series a book they most likely would never have gotten and it gives new readers a look into the author's series without having to have read any of the previous books because it can be read as a standalone.
Happy Reading!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I’m not perfectly imperfect. Just imperfect.
This was a great story. I really enjoyed how this book started and seeing our favorite friends again, but Beckham and Meadow took my breath away. Learning about both of their pasts and what they’ve gone through was definitely an insight into the people they are now and how it has affected their lives. I was truly heart broken when reading about Meadow’s past and shed quite a few tears for her and then when the connection came out, I just wanted to be there for her with all the girls. It was perfect when the guys rallied to help Beckham, with Dillon taking the lead, and the girls rallied to help Meadow. The ending was definitely fitting for these two. My favorite line from this story was, ‘I was coming to realize that maybe we were allowed more than one chance at happiness’. Great addition to the Fractured Connections series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this book...
Taken With You is the fourth book in the Fractured Connections Series. I've been a fan of Beckham's since we've met him in the previous books in the series and have silently been rooting for his HEA. Beckham and Meadow's attraction has always shone through, but lord when they let that attraction loose, their chemistry is smoking hot! I went through all the feels throughout this story. I devoured Beckham and Meadow's story in one sitting. I'm thrilled with how their story went. Such a great read. Now, I will be not so patiently wait for Dillion's story.
