G-RING: A Bad Boy College Romance Kindle Edition
He’s a wrong-side-of-the-tracks bad boy who owns his own gambling ring. She’s a well-bred, confident rich girl who doesn’t fit into her own world. They were never supposed to be…
ACE
It took me years to build the clientele that shows up at this G-Ring every single weekend. Setting up a beautiful lounge, word-of-mouth, and damn good business sense. I make a six-figure salary, and I’m only twenty-four. Doesn’t matter that I grew up in a trailer park on the wrong side of town. What I’ve built for myself? It’s perfect.
Until it isn’t.
NAIMA
It’s called a silver spoon. It means you never have to worry about money, status, or rules. Mine is starting to choke me. My Moroccan family is a little more strict than most, but it doesn’t stop them from giving me everything I want. Only, I don’t want much. Just to feel alive, like I have a place in this world. When I end up at the G-Ring that fateful night with my friends, I think I’ve finally found it. When his eyes land on me, it feels like he sees everything I try so hard to hide. So it took me by surprise, the dead man we found at the end of the night. Now, people I can’t see are chasing me, and I don’t want to leave Ace’s side. I need him. And he needs me.
Will they survive long enough to experience everything real? Or will the people hunting them down cut this love story short?

- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2021What a story this was! I loved it so much. This book was different from her other books and it was so good. Diana Gardin is such a fantastic writer. Every book, I feel like I'm reading a movie in my head. Love Ace and Naima so much.
This exciting, suspenseful and awesome book is definitely a must read!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2021It's good stuff! Definitely not your usual Diana Gardin book; but I'm here for it!! It was an easy read for me and I really enjoyed the characters. I'm really glad they got their happy ending. Im curious to what happens next if there will be another book added.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2021In all, a good story. A guy from the wrong side of town and a girl with a privileged upbringing can't deny the sparks that fly between them. Both Ace and Ny keep their cards close to the vest, their connection though shows that they are more alike than they are with anyone else. The story has family drama, action, suspense, a bit of a twist, some bad decisions and some life changing ones.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2021I liked this book. The main characters, Ace and Naima were very likable and worked beautifully as a couple. Externally these two had many differences but internally they shared many similarities and I loved that they could see that when they were looking at each other. Their chemistry was great as was the level of sweetness and emotion they shared. I will say that personally, I felt the romance took a bit of a backseat to the suspense element of this book and that cost it a star because the romance is what I read my books for. A for the suspense angle, I though it was well written, felt intense and kept me guessing for a while. Combined, it all made for a enjoyable book that was easy to read. I'm choosing to post an unprejudiced, unsolicited review

G-Ring, a just-released romantic suspense with an NA twist, may be my new favorite from author Diana Gardin’s catalog., G-Ring brings something new and fresh to the table, while still being “distinctly Diana,” meaning it’s imbued with tension, action, passion, heat, and heart.
G-Ring is both the name of the novel and the moniker for male lead Ace’s underground, less-than-legal gambling ring. Geared towards yuppie college boys, the Ring is a temporary money-making venture that Ace hopes will put him in a position to eventually be financially secure enough to pursue more legal endeavors. The night Naima walks through the door of the Ring with Noah—her kinda, sorta, not really, it’s really complicated but also not complicated boy friend—everything changes. Ace and Naima’s instant connection takes on a life of its own and their pulsing attraction just hums right off the pages.
When dangerous circumstances try to force distance between Ace and Naima, their desire for one another keeps them pursuing their burgeoning relationship, despite the possible consequences. The chemistry between the couple is redhot and simmers just below the surface of a fast-paced plot line ripe with mystery and suspense. Though it skews younger than some of Gardin’s other work, the story of Ace and Naima is as edgy, engaging, and exciting as anything else Gardin has written. Readers will hurtle towards the conclusion, unable to put the book down until they reach its resolution.
Ace and Naima on the surface are such an odd pairing, but under Gardin’s careful ministrations, they work beautifully; the backstories crafted for the duo yield far more similarities than differences, which plays to their increasing desire for each other and their inevitable entry into a relationship. Gardin’s attention to detail breathes life into a fast-paced, high-risk high-reward tale of lust, love, money, power, success, and the search for life beyond other’s expectations. Throw in a couple of sexy, stunning leads, a motorcycle, and an underground gambling enterprise, and you’ve got yourself a book that readers won’t soon forget.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2021Ace is a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and runs an illegal gambling ring, while Naima is from a privileged background, and even though they are total opposites, they are drawn to each other, and break down each other’s walls. When a client it murdered Ace needs to find out who is responsible while keeping Naima safe at the same time. This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout, as well as having suspense, intrigue, danger, violence, and love, which all leads to a thrilling tale which had me on tenterhooks throughout. I look forward to reading more form this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2021Gardin always gives us rich characters in tense stories and G-Ring is no exception. Ace and Naima are fascinating and attracted me even when I couldn't always say I liked them. The differences in their upbringing are surprisingly unimportant to Naima and their similarities more than make up for the divide. Like Naima, I'm drawn to the bad boy. Especially one who's so smart and sexy. Ace is using his talent for business to drag himself far from the trailer park. Naima admires this even when it's at odds at the privileged life she's led. Ace sees Naima for who she is and loves her for it even when he knows she's meant for a very different life than he can give her.
As is to be expected with Gardin's stories, there is a ton of intrigue. With murders after both Naima and Ace and the potential for legal consequences, the two set out to save themselves and solve the crime committed in Ace's club. It's a thrill a minute story.
I've long been interested in the differences between the persons society labels as admirable and those with true strength of character who may live a bit outside the current laws and norms. Ace and Noah are just such a study in right and wrong, what is acceptable and what is not.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wow
Not at all what I expected from a college story. The story was fun, full of suspense. Both Ace and Naïma were great characters. There were just a few issues for me. One why on earth would she decide to go to the ring while Ace asked her not to? I understand wanting to help but common sense should prevail. It is not her world nor is it her field of expertise. The ending was far too rushed. A recap of the events of the night was needed. We needed more scenes with Carson. He is after all Ace’s pseudo dad. I imagine that Bryn and Jaxon were shocked. We never actually found out what happened to Noah. A meeting between her family and Ace would have been interesting. I guess the author could write a follow up of their adventures in Nashville
