Trust Laramie Briscoe to provide engaging characters in a well-built world I want to revisit again and again. Carly Phillips, NY Times bestselling author.

Sometimes home finds us when we aren’t looking…

Devante Soles

Laurel Springs was nothing more than a dot on the map when I decided I needed a change from the fast pace of Atlanta.

I’m more surprised than anyone else when I look around one day and realize I have friends who have become family, a city that’s become a home, and a girl who's decided to make me believe in love.

Unlike me though, her past has followed her here.

A community that I once never thought I’d have, comes together with me to save her.

Eden Murphy

Chicago wasn’t for me. The bright lights, the embezzlement I should know nothing about, and the made man who changed everything - it all contributed to me leaving. I never felt safe there. Little Laurel Springs though? It’s everything I hoped it would be and more.

My coffee shop, A Whole Latte Love, isn’t doing well, but I’m close to turning a profit.

And Devante? Well he’s more than I ever could have asked for.

But Mario? He’s the one I didn’t count on coming back and demanding what I took…

In true Laramie Briscoe style, you will not be disappointed with the love story between Eden and Devante. A great bridge between our favourite Laurel Springs residents and the new blood revitalizing this series.

2 people to Laurel Springs and are enveloped by the people there. They both are having a hard time dealing with the past but Eden past could bring danger for her. So she is very independent, does not ask for help when she should. She has severe pain and thank goodness Devante finds her in time. They grow closer while she heals.

Devante has had problems with people being racist with him and he gets very angry by it. He sometimes walks away from love ones for a bit. This causes an opening for Eden past to put her in danger. Will she survive it.

What another incredible story to add to this series. I loved Devante and Eden. They both came to Laurel Springs to get away from their pasts. Here they not only find each other they find an amazing group of friends. For me Laurel Springs represents a group of people that are such close friends but that they welcome in new people to join their group. These people don’t care who you are or what your look like they will just be there for you because they like and respect you. Davante and Eden got pulled into this group. Not only do you get their story we get to catch up with so many place characters. From the moment I picked up this book I was hooked. Incredible read from start to finish. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

From everything we’d seen of Devante and Eden earlier in the series, I knew this pair would be something special when we got the chance to know them better, to see their story in action. There is so much emotion in this book; it practically bleeds from the page. Fear, anger, love, joy, and everything else in between. They’re all here, and they’re all so profoundly expressed within this group of characters. I think the greatest message I’m taking away from this book is that family has nothing to do with blood or birth; it has everything to do with who loves us.

This was a great read in this series. DeVante and Eden both have moved to Laurel Springs to get away from their pasts. This is a special little town, one I'm sure we would all love to visit even move to. The love these friends show each other is exactly what DeVante and Eden need in their lives.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Devante and Eden!

Laramie Briscoe wrote another awesome addition to LSERT with Devante. Both Devante and Eden are transplants to Laurel Springs from big cities - he is from Atlanta, she is from Chicago, both trying to start fresh in a new city. Right off the bat you can feel their chemistry and see that they are falling for each other, especially as Devante takes care of Eden when she is ill in the beginning; but Eden is holding back a secret from her past and Devante has some communication issues. He is definitely one of Laramie’s strong, alpha males that makes you swoon - absolutely loved him; and Eden was a great match for him. Another thing I loved is the friendship between Devante and Cutter, a couple of things I won’t mention due to spoilers and the way everyone rallied around Eden and kept her shop open while she was in the hospital. The sense of community in the MTF and LSERT books is amazing, and extends to anyone they bring into fold, even if it takes them a minute to realize it, for example Eden questioned why they were helping a couple of times. Love this book so much!

Love the men and women in Laurel Springs and their stories. Devante is an EMT and one of the newest members of the crew. He moved from Atlanta and has found an acceptance in this small town that he never expected. The crew has welcomed him into their fold and made him family. Eden has also found acceptance and been welcomed into the family. She ran from a dangerous ex in Chicago to start a new life. Eden and Devante are drawn to each other but neither has acted on the attraction. Then Eden becomes seriously sick and almost dies and it changes everything. The story addresses racial prejudice but also shows how there are good people who don't care what your skin color is. It's an excellent story and showcases most of my favorite characters in this series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Devante and Eden are the perfect addition to LSERT

I want to just start right off by saying I loved the way this book begins, in the middle of a crisis. Considering the nature of the jobs most characters have in this series I honestly thought it was very fitting the way this book began and the way the characters interact. I am a sucker for a super sweet and protective Hero and man did Devante delivery on sweet and spice.
Eden is no slouch either and proves that she has just as much spice mixed in with her sweet as well. I like how you find out more about her over the course of the book in terms of her past but it did feel a little sprinkled in instead of part of the plot as a whole considering what she did but thats all im going to say without giving away the story.
Besides Eden and Devante being a great couple I did appreciate how Briscoe really showcased this little town she built and the fundamentals of friends being family and being there for one another. It was great seeing a variety of characters from the previous books.
    Definitely recommend!
