    I love Faith Summers writing and was so happy to see a news series starting after all I know that her writing is the type to keep you engaged with her dark heroes and her even darker edge until you turn that last page and believe me I wasn't disappointed at all

    Masimo D'Agistino is the heir to his fathers empire along with his brothers Andreas, Tristan & Dominic (i'm sure we will get their stories) but he is also bent on revenge against Riccardo Balesteri the man who was their fathers best friend and who stole from them What better revenge is there then to take his finest possession his daughter Emelia Balesteri in payment for the money he stole. She is the protected virgin and is now owned by the devil himself But neither can resist the attraction that is brewing between them Be prepared for a thrilling dark ride as these two battle not only one another but themselves as they try to resist the unstoppable

    The first 70% if this book is brilliantly written and had me devouring every word as fast as I could read it and then I found holes in Massimo’s and in the other characters theories which were bitterly disappointing., and frankly lazing writing. I started off at a 5-star rating but finished at 3 stars. How do you go from amazing to skimming just to finish the book?

    An intense, heart racing and gut wrenching Mafia romance, Ruthless Prince by Faith Summers is an incredibly emotional tale. Guns, torture and contracts, the life of a Mafia Boss is described in depth, add in an arranged marriage, a fiery enemies to lovers romance and epic betrayals makes this book a dark and twisted page turner.

The action was spine tingling and there was just the right amount of steaming romance, with enemies to lovers, a touch of BDSM and erotic bedroom scenes. The storyline is killer and the betrayals are mind consuming. Personally, I can't fault this book. I look forward to the continuation of this series with a different brother as the lead.

    This is a very good read. If you like to read about the workings of the Mafia, the intrigue, betrayal and lust for power then this is for you. This is Massimo and Emelia’s story. Their chemistry is over the top, their characters were totally believable. Now sit back and enjoy their story as it unfolds.

    This is a fast-paced, intense mafia romance that leaves Massimo and Emelia scrambling for the truth. The lies keep piling up and the only thing that Massimo and Emelia can do is hang on to each other as the bullets fly.
    It has a lot of violence and also steamy love scenes to act as a counterpoint to the violence, making this a heart-pounding read from start to finish.

    I really loved this book. I got it on a whim, but I loved it, and I'm totally invested in this world. Let me start with what I loved. Emelia, the main female character, is awesome. She's young but strong and mature emotionally. In the book, she's caught between two ego centric men - her dad and her husband. However, the author did not make her some dim-witted damsel in distress. She handled a bad situation pretty well. The plot was logical and pretty reasonable and realistic for all the characters. I liked the nuance of the dynamics between the two main families without getting into a pathetic rehash of the Godfather. Massimo, the main male character, is a multi-faceted human with good and bad traits, but his motivations are very clear. As stated in the book, he does not lie. The ending was very good and could be a movie scene in its own right. The only dislike and it is extremely minor was the character Andreas. He seemed very one dimensional. But I won't say more than that. Overall, it's a great mafia fantasy book, and yes, the sex scenes are hot and dirty 😉
