Tillie...

I've loved Isaiah for as long as I can remember, but sometimes love isn't enough. Not when the pull of serving our country is my competition. With no other choice, I rebuild myself and focus my attention on the clients of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood, the people who need the club's help. I even date other guys in an effort to circumvent the heartache. It works for a while but eventually, the past comes back in the form of muscles, tats and so much baggage.

Isaiah is no longer the boy I loved. He's a man that oozes sin and pain. His eyes tell a story that I'm not sure I'm up to hearing. Why then, is it so hard to turn my back on him? And why in the hell is he the only person my soul calls out to when I'm in trouble?

Leaving my family and Tillie was the hardest thing I've ever done. But duty called and I had to answer. Especially if I want to be the president of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood and fill my dad's very large shoes. When a bombing sends me back to the only place I've ever called home, I mistakenly think that everything will magically be the same.

Not only has everything changed, but Tillie has moved on. She's become a woman I don't recognize, a woman who spends her days proving she doesn't need me. But I know her better than she knows herself. And danger lurks in the shadows, threatening her existence, whether she wants to admit it or not. I will stop at nothing to protect her, to show her that we still belong together.

Fighting for my country was my duty. Fighting for Tillie is everything.

    Isaiah was set to take over as Prez from his father for the Broken Rebel Brotherhood MC but first he did a stint in the service leaving behind Tillie. She had begged him to stay and he found out that eight years later on his return nothing was as he thought it would be. Since she never heard from Isaiah during this whole time she had moved on and had become a lawyer and had a boyfriend. How could Isaiah even think everything would be status quo on his return!!

    Now Isaiah is back dealing with PTSD and with his dad failing he took over the RBB MC and he was going to try to get Tillie back. Will he be able to protect Tillie after the attacks on her? The twists and turns on this second chance MC romance kept me riveted.

    Tillie and Isaiah have a past, but after leaving to serve his country for 8 years, and with no communication, Tillie moved on with her life. When Isaiah comes back home after a tragic incident, they both realise the feelings are still there, and when Tillie is attacked, Isaiah does whatever he can to help keep her safe.

    This was a story full of suspense, love and romance, but also focuses on family, friendship and trauma.

    I haven't read the earlier stories in this series, but didn't feel lost at all. I look forward to reading the next one, now!

    This is a story about how love can overcome any obstacles in one's life.

    I was pulled into this story right from the get go, which is where I stayed until I had read every single word that was written. I even had my mini movie playing along in my head, which was great.
    There are twists, turns and surprises throughout this book, some of the surprises are large, while others are small, some may actually hit you right between the eye's, while others may pull on your heart strings. But each and everyone hold equal importance within the story.
    Emotions run high throughout the pages of the book and can be felt. I actually went through the emotions along with each of the characters. If your anything like me you might need tissues, I cried a few times during the course of this story.
    I have to admit I loved all three books in this series, but this one is my favourite.
    I highly recommend this book and the Andi Rhodes as an author, I am looking forward to reading more books by her.

    Yes!!!! This book was a whole lifetime in the making. Sweet little Tillie is all grown up and it’s no surprise that the love of her life is Isaiah. I love a great second generation story and this one more than fits the bill. Fantastic to visit with old friends and to see their beautiful children all grown up. Lots of suspense, action, mystery, drama and spicy good stuff. LOVED it!
