My Blue (Matson Brothers Book 2) Kindle Edition
Ella Blue and I were high school sweethearts, until her father forbade us to see each other.
We were forced miles apart. One moment, she was my whole world. The next, she was out of my life.
Ten years have passed, and I never got over Ella. She comes back to town with her all-girls band, but I figure she doesn’t want to see me.
Then I get a call from the hospital. Tragedy has struck. Ella has amnesia, and she can’t remember a thing… except me.
All she can recall is the last night we spent together, before our lives were ripped apart. She still thinks we have our forever.
Together, we piece together the mystery that led to the loss of her memory, only to find there’s more between us than we ever imagined.
Ella Blue doesn’t know who she is, but I do. There’s a chance we can get back our once-in-a-lifetime love.
This time, I’ll never let her go.
My Blue is the second book in the Matson Brothers Duet. No cliffhanger. It can be read as a standalone.
Intended for readers 18 years and older.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 July 2019My Blue is one of my favourite tropes, and I loved the way it was done in this one. It was a fabulous read, ensuring I devoured it, and I was happy to power through the story. It's certainly one I recommend.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 August 2019I really enjoyed reading this book about
long lost love /star crossed lovers.
In the end, though, nothing could keep
these two apart. They belonged together,
even when Blue lost some of her memory.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 July 2019Ella and Leo have been best friends and in love since childhood, and when circumstances beyond their control separate them, life is never the same for either of them. Now years later Ella is back in town to try and find closure on her past, but can they find their way back together and have a second chance on love? This is a beautifully written story which is intense and gritty with suspense and love. I was totally hooked and intrigued throughout and highly recommend for all readers.

3.0 out of 5 stars Really good
It was a very short and fast book to read, but still provoked intense emotions!
In the first chapters we see two teenagers in love, 8 years before the current time, Ella Blue and Leo. It's Blue's 17th birthday and Leo was going to ask her to marry him when her parents have Leo arrested for a crime he didn't commit. They make a deal, she goes away forever and never talks to him ever again and they have the charges dropped. Blue's father is the mayor of the city and an idiot.
8 years later Ella is the lead singer of a band and Leo sees her singing and tries to go after her, but she disappears. A day later Blue appears without current memory and she thinks she's still seventeen and only trusts Leo.
They get closer as she tries to find out what happened to her that was traumatic enough to erase her memory. And at the same time, they fall back in love.
I was very upset at how ease Blue's parents were forgiven. And while I enjoy the story, I think the mystery of what happened with her could have been better worked on. They fell back in love too fast as well. But that's my problem with short books. The story is really cool, I loved the protagonists, but I wanted to hit many other characters hahaha. It was my first experience with the author and I really appreciated and want to see more.

5.0 out of 5 stars READ THIS BOOK.
Oh Mylanta! I'm keeping this short and sweet. READ THIS BOOK. You will fall in love with Ella and Leo. You will be on the edge of your seat with anticipation, wanting to know what will happen as you chew on your fingernails until there is nothing left of them (I speak from experience) If you want an emotionally involved, second chance at love story, this is that book. Pick it up. Right now. You will not regret it!

This is a tough one to review because I really liked the premise but things felt a bit incomplete at times and the loose ends bugged me. I think I wanted more closure. The writing did slow a bit here and there but I was interested enough to keep reading.
