    The much anticipated 3rd book in the my guy series did not disappoint. Forbidden love, the pitfalls of online dating and friendship create one hell of a story. Yet again a well written heart wrenching story of forbidden love.

    I enjoyed this book. Only complaints was just her pov...and I found it hard to see the love they held for each other with all the sweetness surrounding it. I'm glad she ended up with him in the end but honestly I liked her with the other guy more. And my dirty mind honestly wanted this story to go in a completely non sweet direction.
    But in saying that I knew this was a sweet romance going in. And for a sweet romance it was a good read. I'll definitely be reading book 4 of this series.

    I love Liz Lovelock’s books, and I enjoy this crowd, even Paislee’s older brother who we met in the first book, My Monday Night Guy. You know, Parker Kent, who now, in his over-protective stance towards his little sister and her choice in boyfriends, still has his head up his backside. Parker’s best friend Dane though, as the boyfriend and his option to keep things secret?? Yeah, nah, I wasn’t one of his fans, and I was proud of Paislee in knowing her own worth and deciding to stick to her guns when he wouldn’t come clean to her brother. She walked. Dane had to front up in the end, that’s for sure, but would that be enough, because Jase, a guy that I really liked had been spending time with her.

    Teenage years are a minefield of emotions and family situations compound that experience, so when a face from their Mother’s and their own distant past shows up, I believe that Ms Lovelock covered that really well.

    Sweet College Reads aren’t my favourite, but the author’s talent in writing definitely is, so I will always one-click and always recommend her books. 4 Stars 💜
