Publisher Description
I have always been bullied and trapped in darkness. I hoped life would get better when I moved to my mother's hometown, but it only got worse because it was there that I met my unrequited crush, Hayden Black.
He despised me from day one, and even more when I became best friends with his twin, Kayden. Kayden gave light to my life, but my happiness with him lasted only until one night two years ago.
That night Kayden died because of me.
Half of me died with him. The other half was left to bleed, suffering Hayden's and his friends' constant bullying.
Now I must endure one more year before I can finally escape them and go to college. This year has to be different.
Either I will become stronger, or they will finally break me into nothing.

See AllI could not put this book down
I had my heart strings pulled. I cried. I was left with emotional damage. My heart was aching for Sarah. This book is simply so sad but in the best way. You are viewing the hurt and trauma from Sarah’s perspective and I just cannot even begin to explain how much I was engrossed in this book. I spent hours reading and rereading. Great writing and such a great read. I did not expect this to be my experience but once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down until I was done.

I definitely enjoyed every bit of this book, it’s a “must read”
Pain
It was completely unexpected that this novel would take me for a ride along feelings I would prefer not to experience. I tend not to like characters still in high school because I have a hard time relating but that was not apparent here. This book unveiled a view of mental disorder not commonly talked about. I experienced the pain, the happiness, even the confusion of Sarah and I hurt for her and rejoiced when she stood up for herself. I read this in less than two hours and I would read again.
