    This story is all about what any person with a heart of gold would do to protect their family and the loved ones in their life.
    From the very beginning Marco is portrayed as someone most of us would like to have in our corner.
    Mila was a survivor, and I enjoyed the relationship that developed between them.

    This book like all the other JM Kelley books are true gems. You will not be disappointed with this story. Read the tropes and other reviews. But at the end of the day just take a chance! And you will enjoy this beautiful story.

    What a great read ! Love Marco what a lion ! And I like how it tied in with his brother. Loved to see the other cocky hero characters even the goat even though it wasn’t long ! Good story line and highly enjoyable.

    Listen (seriously), if you can only pick one book to read today, this one has to be the one!! #TRUST A fantastic read with characters you will love and root for. A well-developed plot that came together seamlessly and with zero holes. I am ecstatic over this book you guys! There’s an incredible amount of heart woven into every single circumstance in this story. This story is not simply a romance journey; it’s a story of family, those we chose and those we don’t, loyalty, friendship, integrity and above all, trust. A fast-paced story that brought tremendous joy to my life! Weeks later and I still find myself smiling!

    Sidenote: Who doesn’t love a heroine who screams “Lying liar who lies.”?? *swoon* she had me at … all of her :)

    It took me back to summers in New York.
    The characters earthy, feisty, and passionate. The snappy one-liners were rich, and colorful.
    The romance between Marco and Mila, both of them cocky, was a slow burn. It grew like a summer tomato, juicy, sweet and worthy of savoring.
    Every page as enjoyable as the first.
    JM’s voice is strong, relatable, and refreshing.
    I recommend the book. It’s a great escape.
