Elliot
My career took focus in my life while trying to make a name for myself in a male dominated field. I kept my gender under wraps until I was able to let my expertise speak for itself. But I was knocked off my axis when I ran into Arden, the man I had compared all men to since our one night together. Now he was taken—by another man—a very dominant man.

Arden
The love I had for my man ran deep. But I’d never forgotten her. From the very beginning, Daimen and I agreed to our non-traditional life—two men loving one another until we found that woman we could claim as ours. Now, she was standing in front of me, unaware she was a marked woman.

Daimen
I had loved my best friend from an early age. The day Arden submitted to me, was a dream come true. That was until a sexy and sassy blonde entered our life and turned it upside down. I see something in her that scared me. But I would make her mine, mine and Arden’s. Claiming hatred would follow us everywhere, Elliot fought us at every turn.

Will the three of us create our own unconventional happily ever after or will she leave us heartbroken?

Foundations is book one in The Power of Three Love series by Leigh Lennon. This is the story of three people that found each other, the other people they were supposed to be with. But such a non-traditional relationship is hard enough to navigate before you add in the public’s opinion. Will they choose the safe choice, or will they choose happiness?

Elliot Arnold is doing what she loved, she is an architect, trying to grow her own business along with her best friend/assistant in Chicago. She has an opportunity for a job with a prestigious firm that would definitely be a feather in her cap. But when she went to meet the men who will hopefully be her new bosses, she came face to face with a man she met and had a one night stand with eight year ago. A man she never forgot, a night she never forgot. The only problem is that now he is in a serious committed relationship with his partner in the firm, another man.

Eight years ago Arden Blakely had a single night with a woman he never forgot. But soon after that, his life changed when he and his two closest friends started a business together. And also, when he fell in love with one of them, Daimen.

Daimen Torano had a horrible childhood but through it all his best friend, Arden was there to help him. Daimen has loved Arden secretly for as long as he could remember. But now he and Arden are partners, both at work and at home. He is the love of his life. There was just one thing missing, a woman that would make them complete.

“This man was my everything, his soul was connected to my own.”

As soon as Elliot was brought into their office, they both knew she was the one that would complete their triad. Arden remembered well the night he shared with her eight years ago. He knew how compatible they were. He knew how perfect she would be for Daimen. Now all they had to do was convince her that they would work.

Their way together is not an easy one. Ell’s family is very set in the ways they feel about anyone or anything that is not in their perception of normal. Add in to the mix some crazy ex’s, on top of her own doubts, and finding happiness doesn’t seem so easy.

Menage suit

I was surprised at the addition of a little bit of suspense in this. It definitely added something needed to this story. All in all, it was just an okay read for me. I couldn’t seem to find my rhythm in the words. It felt a little disjointed to me. I’ve been looking at this series for awhile now and am not ready to give up on it, though. I’ll try another of the later books and hopefully will enjoy it more.

“The foundation of what we were creating was becoming as clear as the skyscrapers she designed.”

I loved this book, but geez I found it hard at times. Firstly, Ell drove me insane. You have two guys in love with you, who want forever with you, yet you can’t stand up to your bigoted parents and tell them where to go? I found the guys a little too gushy, but maybe that’s on my upbringing, my family doesn’t “do” feelings. The story was great, but, for me, the sex scenes let it down. I felt like I was reading one of my granny’s romances. Maybe I’m just a deviate 😉

2.5 my man stars!

If the above statement (and its variation) wasn't mentioned about 100 times I might have rounded up my rating to three stars, but I was completely annoyed from reading it over and over again that it really tainted my enjoyment.

I was recently introduced into the MMF menage world with Jade West's Sugar Daddies and was hoping that I would also have fun reading this book. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. If you have some other suggestions in that genre, please feel free to share in the comments.

I really loved that Elliot was a strong woman, in a male-dominated profession, with a more masculine name, didn't apologize for it, and didn't take crap from any of the men in her life. If I could choose one profession it would be an architect, so I'll be happy to pick up any book in which one of the MCs is one.

"I'm feeling desired in a way I never have before." My body shivered but not because I was cold.
Arden leaned close to my ear and whispered, "You're very much desired, hot stuff."

Arden was the lighthearted one of this group, always trying to add a joke and keep everyone happy. He was the one that loved saying "my man", so he was the most annoying character for that reason alone, I did enjoy his jokes and humour though.

Daimen was the broody alpha of the group. I did have fun watching him and Elliot clash heads and personalities.

Sadly, a mediocre read for my second book of the year...at least they are getting slightly better. ;)

My first Leigh Lennon read guaranteed I would be back for more. In fact, after reading Unfiltered I powered through the interconnected standalone books Unacquainted and Unwanted. I adored these stories and was more than happy to read more of Leigh Lennon’s work. Thus, I happily devoured The Holiday Package and The Sweetest Package, both of which I loved. My desire for more Leigh Lennon books remained.

When I read my next Leigh Lennon book, Stockholm, I found myself in the minority. Stockholm was enjoyable, but I’d been hoping for more. However, I blamed it on my extremely high standards when it comes to dark romances – with them being my favourites, I require extremely dark reads to be blown away. Therefore, I was happy to read another Leigh Lennon book, as I considered Stockholm a personal preference issue. My next Leigh Lennon read was Color Blind, and if I’m honest it was my least favourite Leigh Lennon read. Again, I was in the minority with such a view, but it did leave me worried about my next Leigh Lennon read. I wanted more Leigh Lennon, as I’d enjoyed my first five books so much, but I was worried Leigh Lennon was stepping away from the things I’d enjoyed so much about her work when I first started reading her books.

Due to this, I was tentative about Foundations. Leigh Lennon is clearly a versatile romance author, yet I found myself favouring certain types of books from her. In fact, a small part of me worried that through writing what was popular Leigh Lennon was stepping away from what she could write best. I know authors write where the money is, and this will not always be what I like – the current craze with reverse harem within paranormal romance (a trend I have been unable to enjoy) is a prime example – yet I found myself hoping for more of what I’d come to enjoy so much. Nevertheless, despite the tentatively, I was intrigued by the first book in The Power of Three Love series. I wasn’t as excited as I had been about other Leigh Lennon releases, but I was curious about the story.

In truth, Foundations isn’t quite a full four-star rating. This, however, I believe to be due to my recent book funk. I’ve been in a book funk for weeks and handing out a three-star rating has been the best I’ve been capable of doing for quite some time. I did consider holding off Foundations until I was completely over my funk, yet a part of me had hoped it would break the funk. Although this wasn’t quite a full four-star rating, I’m thinking it may very well be the book to break said funk – hence why I rounded my rating up. It was so close, I know outside of my funk I would have happily handed over a four-star rating.

It’s a read that grips you from early on, one that has you addicted to the story and curious to see how things play out. With a great cast of characters, you quickly fall in love with the chemistry between them. It’s not just the main characters, though, as the side characters leave you desperate to find out how their stories will play out. Moreover, for those who enjoyed Color Blind, we get a reference to the Fans of Football series in this one that I’m sure many will appreciate.

As fun as the characters were, it was the progression of the story I really enjoyed. There were points where things were a wee bit on the predictable side and happened a bit quickly, but this was towards the end. Not that I minded, as it was enjoyable, I’d just been hoping for something a bit more explosive and different as the build-up throughout the book had been so much fun. We’re slowly sucked in until we’re lost to the story, desperate to see how every element comes together.

If you’ve enjoyed Leigh Lennon’s other work, I’d certainly recommend grabbing this one. It’s a lot of fun, and I’m eager for the next book in the series.

Holy DOUBLE hotness!!! I totally want an Arden and Daimen of my own!!! Dear goodness these men a freaking hot!!! 🔥 It was a bit slow going at first, but once it picked up, it flew!!! There was even a bit of suspense that I was not expecting! 😍. Basically this book had just a bit of everything in it along with a lot of LOVE! Because regardless of how hot it is, Foundations is about love! And lots of it! I know that MMF is not for everyone. But if you're on the fence and thinking you might like to try it I absolutely recommend this as a starting point! Leigh did a fantastic job of emphasizing the love aspect of this story at every turn! Worth every single hot star I can give! (And a whole lot of 💜💜💜💜💜) 😍

Update: May 2023:

Story 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Spice 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Swoon 😍😍😍😍😍
Angst 💔💔💔💔
Narration 👏👏👏

Ok I just listened to the audio and holy freaking hotness! It was even better than I remembered! Both Daimen and Arden were so freaking swoony.... and I just wanted to hug Daimen all the time! The spice was OFF THE CHARTS!!! Like I totally forgot how hot it was! Really a great story over all.... I have to say that while Chris Chambers did a decent job for BOTH Daimen and Arden, I wish he would have changed up his voice a bit between the 2 men..... and Stephanie Rose was pretty good except when her male voice said "little girl" .... that made me cringe. But I would listen to it all over again!

I love MMF books, and this one is no different. Leigh Lennon brings three people together that are in love but need to find a relationship that fits everyone's life. Elliot, Daimen, and Arden are in it for the long haul, but nothing is ever easy, including love.

Leigh does a great job of turning this MMF love triangle into a beautiful, emotional story where no one is left out.

I really liked how Elliot went into the meeting with Daimen and Arden, she was going to get that contract no matter what they thought! It was fun to see how stunned both men were when they realized Elliot was a woman, funnier still for Daimen to get taken down by Elliot, he wasn't quite sure what to think in the aftermath. Of course the 2 butted heads for quite a while before coming to a less contentious relationship.

I really liked how sneaky Arden was in everything, especially when we learn later, he was that was from the get go. While he knew what he wanted, Daimen and Elliot had to be eased into seeing that his vison was perfect.

I really could have done without the drama at the end, but at least these 3 know where they stand with everyone.

Oh Elliot, Elliot, Elliot! What a lucky lucky girl you are. To find that duo in Arden & Damien...funny and sweet takes on dominant and pig-headed. Only Elliot could complete this picture!

There is definitely power in three. It takes a strong triad to overcome what everyone thinks of as the normal. So it stands to reason that this story is full of confusion, resilience, emotion, patience, and true love.

There is an emotionally charged story here. Real struggle and surprises. I loved these characters and their journey. I only wrestled with the repetitive inner dialogue and reassurances that continued through most of the narrative. But this HEA is well worth it!!!

Have to tell you this book took me by surprise. This is my one of my few forays into MMF. Aside from the fact that the book is hot and has some steamy scenes, it has a compelling story and also some twists and turns you’re not expecting. It deals with some very current issues and really makes a statement about the way society views things. You may come out re-evaluating what you’re willing to stand up for and how much you truly love yourself and what you value.

If it sounds like its a preachy book, it’s not at all. This book has a lot of smiles, swoons and feel good moments. I fell in love with the main characters, Elliot, Damien and Arden. All of them are strong and independent on their own, as well as interdependent on each other. . Each one brings something different and unique to the relationship and to the story. Singularly they could be successful but together they weave a fabric that they feel could be unbreakable. That is until they are tested in various ways that could bring a person to their knees. I don’t do spoilers I don’t feel it’s fair to the author. You can get some information from the burb and other reviews. I would also suggest you read the book.

Some of the secondary characters are as important to the story as the main characters. I realized I would love to know how their lives pan out. Also, the author gives bonus content. I thoroughly enjoyed this because I like to see into the future of the characters I just read about. Yes, I’m invested in them so I’m nosy that way.

If you’re looking for a good story that brings smiles, twists, turns, complex characters, intrigue, romance, angst, HEAT, and hope then read this book.

If this is your first venture into this genre, don’t worry it’s not too much. It’s not gratuitous. This book has a good storyline and will make you think. You may just get some tingles along the way. Feeling good is always a good thing.

To the author I say Well done! Can’t wait to see what you bring to us next!

Ok so first off let me start by say that Elliot is such an amazing alpha female! I love how she took command and stood her ground! I bow to the author, for you have slayed me! I absolutely love how Daimen and Arden are both dominant but that can submit to the other when needed! The fact that they lead no traditional lives is breathtaking! The banter between these two is comical and loving. They are so in-tuned with each other that they can communicate without words and that itself shows the love they share. The way Daimen tries to deny his attraction and pull to Ell at first is pretty funny. The obstacles they reach and overcome as a couple shows that what Arden said about “There’s power in three” to be so very on point! Elliot fights a battle of whats in her heart and what others will think so much through this that i wanted to slap her. But when she FINALLY says f*** it and gives in to her heart my heart soared! I truly enjoyed this book and from the innuendos made in the ending i can only hope we will get more! I am curious about Scar and Levi and the mystery man! Not to mention the little things that Ell kept saying were “for another time.”

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review!

I am a fan of both Leigh Lennon and MMF romances, so I was super excited to get to read Foundations.

Elliott is trying to make it in a male dominated profession. She hides her gender and lets her work speak for itself. But when Arden and Daimen need a new architect she gets a whole lot more than she bargained for. Arden is the man she had one night with years ago, a man that she has since compared all others to. And he is in a committed relationship with Daimen. She never expects that they have plans to fit her into their lives, both professionally and personally.

This started out a bit slow for me, but once we get these three together, things take off. I love reading about unconventional love, the kind that says 'F U' loud and clear to society and its absurd standards. Leigh did a fabulous job in giving me just what I like. I cannot wait to read what comes next in this series, it is going to be amazing!

I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and have decided to leave a voluntary honest review. I can't tell you how impressed I am with what I just finished reading by leigh. Leigh not only only blew me away with this one but she also rocked my world. I'm not usually into mm but when you add a female to mix you have me and I won't let go. I have to say Arden and Damien were extremely hot together now add ell to the mix the connection is something you will never have witnessed before I guarantee that. I know people can be judgemental but you can't help who you fall in love with. Ya you can try to fight it even deny and hide it. But in the end your only hurting yourself and the ones you love.

Strong female lead? 2 sexy as hell leading men? Put them together and you are in for one heck of a ride! Foundations is a well, written, exciting, sexy MMF book that I truly enjoyed reading.

Arden, Daimen, and Ell had such fantastic chemistry together and I loved watching their triad relationship blossom. I appreciated that neither men rushed Ell into anything, and let her come to the realization that she wanted both men, together, on her own. Definitely not an easy road for them, but nothing worth having ever is.

Hoping there is more to this world, as there are some wonderful characters that I would love to read more about!

As my first MMF read, this one was absolutely filled with steamy goodness!

This is the writer's first foray into the MMF Genre and I felt it was wonderfully written and handled very respectfully. You can tell that there was quite a bit of thought was put into this story. There are multiple POVs throughout the story that actually give us excellent insight as to what each character is thinking and feeling.

I loved Elliot's spunk, Daimen's alpha maleness, and Arden's humor. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them interact and grow together. I felt that they all balanced each other very well as the story went on.

I definitely recommend this book!

First book by Leigh Lennon and it was great!
Who wouldn’t want to be El!?!? Adored and taken care of by two sexy alpha men. I loved Damien and Arden’s relationship and then add El in the mix it just completed them. I loved watching the relationship grow and then the twist and turns with El’s parents, Soencer and Layla. I just couldn’t put the book down.
Thanks for such a great read and I hope to see another book maybe with Scar and Levi in .. hint hint

It appears that I am in the minority here with this book. This is my first Leigh Lennon book, and this book just did not do it for me. I love MMF, so I was excited to read this story. I just could not connect very well with the characters, and some of the cheesy nicknames (hot stuff) left me sour I guess. I plan to try another Leigh Lennon book, but this was was a miss for me.

First I need to say that I am big fan of both Leigh Lennon’s writing and MMF romances so it’s not a big surprise that I just couldn’t wait for „Foundations”.

Elliot is working in a field that is mainly reserved for men. She is one of the most successful architect in Chicago. She goes for the interview with two of the most successful millionaires fro really big project. What she didn’t expect was that she will know one of them when she walked in cause she met Arden 8 years before the beginning of this story and they shared amazing night of passion. Neither of them stopped thinking about said night even when Arden and Daimen his childhood friend became a couple after accepting their love to each other. Both men agree that after foursome that went bad with their other business partner and a woman named Lana that they both still want a woman in their lives to complete them and be their “foundation”. In the same time Elliot who comes from family with really religious background never expects that they have plans to fit her into their lives in professionally and personally meaning of this word.

I really loved that Leigh included 2 epilogues and we got 2 epilogues and we get big HEA.
I can’t even describe author’s talent to take some not easy topic and make such and incredible, unique and deep story. Beauty that these three totally as may seem different people fall in love and become one is something that everyone should read in my opinion, whether you’re a fan of mmf books or not. What was the big plus for me too is despite amazing chemistry and hotness between these three the focus is on the journey of love that these three take together and it’s really incredible.

So basically what’s Leigh tires to say in this book to us all is to live your life to fullest, enjoy every second you have with the people you love the most and don’t care about anyone who doesn’t agree with your life style!! Your happiness is the most important thing.
Big five stars :)

OMFG!! SPEECHLESS!! JUST SPEECHLESS!! Leigh Lennon did it again and it has All the Feels you can ask for in a Book!! FOUNDATIONS is not your typical love story since there is So much Intense Sexual Chemistry between 3 People!! Leigh did an Incredible job collaborating love in an Unconventional way.
Elliot, Arden and Damien trio factor will have you Melting your Panties and their Chemistry is Off the Charts HOT! Now I know MMF is not for everyone but if you want to dip alittle, this is the right Book for you because it is So Beautifully written. Everyone Loves different and LOVE has No Boundaries!
Elliot is a strong independent woman wanting to get ahead in a Man's World in Business with close-minded parents. Arden and Damien are very highly respected people in the Business World and Gorgeously attractive to each other. However they are wanting a woman in their Lives to complete their love.
It all starts with a One Night stand eight years ago, which neither of them can get out of their minds. Throw in an Interview for a life altering job and going Head to Head with an Alpha Male plus an Alpha Woman. The characters themselves have so much attraction to one another, its a wonder there is no smoke alarms going off! Not to mention, throw in some Best Friends, siblings, Stubborn Parents and Crazy Ass Ex's in the mix!

I cannot begin to describe the way Leigh Lennon takes something and makes such an incredible, unique and deep story with it. I’m constantly blown away by her books but Foundations takes the number one spot for me. The beauty in which these three distinctly different people fall in love and become one is something everyone should take the time to read, whether you’re on the fence or a diehard lover of mmf.
While Arden, Damien, and Ell bring lots (AND LOTS AND LOTS) of heat they also share one of the most passionate and moving love stories ever. The focus isn’t on all the scorching heat, it’s on the journey of love these three take together and it’s amazing.
Each character brings a unique depth to the story and pulls you in more and more making it easy to fall in love right along with them. Arden with his lighthearted, fun, and flirtatious personality balancing out Damien’s dominating alpha ways and Ell’s equally alpha female personality making it clear these three are the perfect missing piece to each other’s souls.
I started reading this unsure on if I’d truly love it and after the first few pages I was so hooked I couldn’t put it down. Leigh Lennon is truly a master of creating characters and worlds that burrow right into your heart.

Live your life to fullest, enjoy every second you have with the people you love the most and screw anyone who doesn’t agree with your life style!!

Elliot is working in a field that mainly consist of men. She is a successful architect in Chicago. She is about to go interview with two of the most successful millionaires for a big project. What she wasn’t expecting was knowing one of the men when she walked in.

Daimen and Arden have been best friends, business partners and partners in life for along time. Before building there business and life together Arden had one amazing night with a woman he could never forget and regretted not getting her contact info before they went there separate ways. Little did he know the person they were about to interview was the same woman.

This is my first MMF story I’ve read and let me tell you, Leigh Lennon made it impossible for me to put it down. The connection these three have is absolutely amazing. It doesn’t matter what the situation was, you could feel the emotions of these characters. Now I can’t wait to see what Leigh Lennon has in store for us next!!

This is a MMF which was very well written touching all all the concerns of triad couple learning to love each other unconditionally. It had funny moments, serious moments, and plenty of steamy sexy moments. I did however feel like there was something lacking because we got detailed sex scenes when it was just one-on-one but when the threesomes took place they felt rushed. I thought “that’s what the goal is for these people, so why is it being brushed over?” Other then that I do wish there was a little more backstory for Elliott, I get the problems with her family, but didn’t understand it fully because some of her back story was missing. I loved the minor characters like Levi, Scar and Andrew and hope we see them in the future.

I liked the cover, however the characters look ‘plastic.’ The storyline is really well done, the characters I thought could have used a little more development but overall was good, and the editing had small minor issues that didn’t largely affect my reading. Overall a surprisingly good read for someone looking for a good MMF storyline.

I love a good MMF read and this not only has the steamy sex it also has the emotional romantic side as well. Ell and Arden met 8 years prior to the start of this story and have an amazing night of sex. Neither one stopped thinking about the other even after Arden and his childhood friend Daimen became a solid couple after accepting their love for each other. Both men agree after their fouresome gone bad with their other business partner and a woman named Lana that they both still want a woman in their lives to complete them and be their "foundation". Later in the book Arden confesses he sought out Ell, who is also in the architecture business to get her to work with them and their business in hopes that Daimen will fall for Ell. His plan works. I loved that Leigh included 2 epilogues and you get the entire HEA. I really enjoyed this read Leigh never disappoints. You will fall in love with these characters.

I really enjoyed my first read from Leigh Lennon. Living life outside what others consider "normal" is not always easy. It is even harder when you do everything you can to please your very strict, conservative parents. Elliot had no idea when she had a one of a kind one night stand many years ago, that it would come back into her life to offer her a happiness that she never dreamed of. Daimen and Arden are strong in their relationship but because of a past relationship that went badly, they had never expected that they could find someone to love them both and be their foundation, their rock. It will take open minds and open hearts to finally see that love come to fruition but if Arden has his way, nothing will stop them.

Wow! What a wonderful, emotionally charged, journey Leigh Lennon has taken me on. This book hooked me from page 1. Each character, Elliot, Arden and Daimen were well developed and the three of them completed and filled the missing pieces in the other. Elliot, or Ell, is a wonderfully strong women who gives as much as she gets. Daimen is sexy, broody, and fiercely protective of those we loves and Arden is loving, funny and and a caretaker. Though they are different in some ways, the love and connection they share is palpable. Foundations is a funny, sexy, emotional, angsty read that will have you begging for more and rooting for their HEA.

Oh what a yummy book this was. One of the best that I’ve read in a while. I loved the relationships between all three of them with each other separately and together. Loved how Ell didn’t let the men rush her into anything she didn’t want, love how she held her ground and also knew when to grab hold of what was in front of her.
It was also crazy hot!!
It was a hot ménage book but with a great story line and characters. I thought they all were equals in the relationship and I need that in a ménage book.
Really enjoyed this one.

This book was freaking awesome. I loved every single second of it! You know those books where you can't wait to see what happens but don't want it to end.. that is how I felt about this book. I definitely would recommend this book to anyone who'd listen. I loved Arden and Daimen together then you bring Ell into the mix and it just works. The love in this book jumps right off the page and surrounds you. Of course there is the smoking hot chemistry between all 3 of them which is just the icing on the cake.

I received a ARC of this book above is my honest review.

Foundations was my introduction to Author Leigh Lennon, and I'll definitely be reading more. I really enjoyed the storyline, loved to characters and what do I say about the steamy bits, WOW. I enjoy reading MMF and this book didn't let me down.

This book had a strong professional female main character, Elliot, which really appealed to me. The two, yes two, male main characters were also strong which was good for some added angst. These men want a woman to join their committed relationship on a life long basis and Elliot is their target.
