3.5 Cosy Stars because I really did enjoy the read and found myself happily sinking into it, but I did finish pouting a little - it was too damn short, so much more could have been done.
Jason is enamoured with Linda from the get go, they're set up on a blind date neither expected much from, but once Linda realises he is her new boss well she's more than a little hesitant and determined to keep things professional - Jason on the other hand is determined to show her they're meant to be. This is a slow burn romance (the love rather insta).
Good chemistry between Jason and Linda, I just wish the author had taken time to give us more once they were actually together, the ending felt a tad rushed.

This one started off well but then it just felt like a rush to get to the end. WICKED BEDMATE is an office romance of sorts but I really struggled to enjoy it.

Wicked is in a series with other authors you can all read standalone. This one was filled with some dirty sweets.. ;)
Lord poor poor Linda being fired from one job to be jobless for awhile, but she thinks her luck has turned when she now has a date and now has a interview with a company. Her date went as good as it can with her dream guy Jason but she had alittle to much to drink so that causes Jason to take care of her and be loves every second. But she's confused thinking they slept together since she was in his bed but she doesn't have time she has a interview rl get to. Just her luck her boss is none other then her one-night guy (who she didn't sleep with yet) Jason and boy I love Jason he didn't give up and I love that about a guy.

Part of the Cocky Hero Club and I loved it. Each book in this club can be read as a standalone and are extensions of different stories written by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. Fun office romance between Linda and Jason and I really enjoyed it. Linda gets fired from her job so to help cheer her up, her best friend sets her up on a date with his boyfriend’s brother. Too much alcohol on the date is involved and they sleep together or do they? She has an interview in the morning so she leaves and when she gets there, Jason is the one interviewing her. The chemistry and attraction between them was so good. Are they able to get what they want in love and business? Great read and I can’t wait read more from this author and the other stories in the Cocky Hero Club series. Highly recommend.

My past experience with this author’s work have all fallen under insta love/lust/attraction romances, so that’s what I was prepared to read and luckily, that’s what I got because she is really good at this LOL I’ve read a ton of her books for the pleasure *wink wink* of it and they’ve always hit the spot. That’s what you’re getting with this story and it was veeeery well done! The attraction, the sizzle, the chemistry all of it was well executed. However, with all that, the story sometimes lacks depth. Wicked Bedmate could have used a bit of depth or as some would say, fleshing out. It reads a bit like a wham bam story even though it is not. I dunno, I really liked and enjoyed it, but I was also in the mood for it when I read it so … *shrug* Do with that info as you see fit LOL

Linda was not having a great time in her life at this moment. Fired from her new job and then not being hired because she was fired from her previous job, she was not in a good frame of mind for a blind date. But then again how bad could it really be.
When she meets Jason she can't believe her luck. He is hot, sexy and just too good to be true. The next morning she wakes up in his bed and man was that awkward as she can't even remember if they slept together. Hangover was not a good thing especially when you have another job interview to go to. And guess who is her interview with... Jason... Who is the CFO looking for a new assistant.
Jason didn't have time to date, but when his broker kept nagging him he eventually agrees. Not knowing that maybe this could be the women of his dreams. Only problem is that now he needs to convince her that he doesn't give up on something on he wants, even if he is her new boss.
This was a quick, steamy alpha romance that was a fun read. I enjoyed how Jason seduced Linda that she had no choice but to give in. Finished the story in one go. Definitely a good read ❤ 😊

Steamy, blind date goes unexpectedly right! Jason is a wonderful hero. Jason is exactly what Linda needs. Linda has a rough time between jobs. It’s a surprise for her when she interviews for her new one! Linda and Jason struggle between professional and romance. Sweet story with a great HEA!

Office romance at its hottest and best, you can almost feel and hear the sizzle between these two characters. The tension mounts through the first few chapters before it starts to snap with the force of attraction, I'm actually surprised either character managed any work. Great read and one I didn't put down

Wicked Bedmate by Jenika Snow is part of A Cocky Hero Club Series. This can be a standalone book if you wish to do so. This is the story of Jason and Linda who are set up on a blind date that turned into a one night hot encounter. Linda is down on her luck with loosing her job and trying to find a new one. So, Linda shouldn't be going out with the blind set up that her best friend set in motion for her. But Linda does go and it leads to one of the hotness nights of her life but she sneaks out the next morning. Linda is hoping her good luck is still with her when she goes to a job interview. But lucky or not the man that may be her boss and that she has a interview with...Jason, her one night stand. Jason was so struck by Linda and so happy that she walked into his office that he hires her and has some hot plans for her. Quick hot read.

I love office romance books.
For this book I just missed the connection because there’s so much internal dialogue and they are telling me how this person is but we don’t get to see it in their conversation because they hardly had any.
Idk. You can’t tell me she’s funny and witty when in a whole chapter you hardly spoke.
You can’t tell me he loves her after two weeks when we hardly get to see them interact.
Ugh no.
They use their names a lot. “I want this Linda.” “Me too Jason”. We know who the characters are so I don’t understand why their names need to be used in all the sentences when they speak to each other.
“She was petite, thin, but fuck was she curvy.”
Ummm.... what?????

Jenika Snow is a new author to me and one of the things I love about the Cocky Hero Club Novels is I’m getting to experience new authors and so far I have loved everything I have read and I will certainly be checking out other works by Ms Snow.
Linda and Jason meet on a blind date and it’s a night neither will forget, the attraction is instant and the chemistry is sizzling but what will happen when they come face to face in a job interview....

This book is office romance at its best it’s hot, it has great characters with sizzling chemistry who also share some very witty banter and it has a story that you will find hard to put down. I loved Jason and his protective alpha ways and I loved Linda because she just thought he had a few crazy ways about him little did she know that she would fall for the crazy alpha male who now controls her life.
Great read and I’m looking forward to reading more by this talented author

This is Jenika Snow's version of slow burn and it is awesome! Linda has hit a rough patch in life. Fired in front of the whole office after only being there a short while was horrible. Then her bestie sets her up on a blind date. When the guy shows up, it really appears as though her luck has taken a huge turn. Jason is fun and easy to talk to, they have a fabulous time. Too bad she drank too much at dinner and wakes up in his bed. The cherry on top of all this mess is the job interview she has later that day. She desperately needs it and who should be interviewing her but Jason. There is no way she ends up with the job and the guy, right? So romantic and filled with the butterflies of a love that was meant to be, 5 stars for Wicked Bedmate!

Office romance, with an amazing best friend, heat, steam and a cocky hero!! This is a very enjoyable story. The author knows how to create a wonderful story to get lost in. What I loved about this one in particular is the way the two characters bantered back and forth. This is the classic meet, connect, find out who each other truly are but it is turned up high in heat and humor! You will want to read this if you love steamy stories and perfect hero. 4.25 stars. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

Linda is having the absolute worst kind of week. Fired from her job, an interview gone bad and now she must face a blind date. If she didn’t love her best friend so much she would never have agreed to go out with his partner’s brother. Jason is a busy CFO and not looking for a relationship. He only agrees to the blind date since it is his brother asking. Will one blind date, with a little too much to drink, bring them together or cause Linda bigger problems?
This was a fun read and a great start to the Cocky Hero Club World Standalones. Loved the characters and the chemistry between Linda and Jason. Wicked Bedmate was a quick read since I didn’t want to put it down once I started. This was my first book by Jenika Snow and I’m glad I found her. Will be looking forward to reading more of her work and the Cocky Hero Club.

A quick, but sizzling hot read! Linda and Jason meet on a blind date that neither will forget. There was an instant attraction between them, and a connection that felt like they already knew one another. I loved Jason's alpha tendencies towards Linda. He knew she belonged with him and didn't want any other guy near her. Linda thought he was crazy, and he was; crazy about her. Jenika Snow certainly knows how to steam up the pages to get you hooked, so you can't put the book down.

Wicked Bedmate is a quick read in the Cocky Hero Club series, but it didn’t quite work for me. I’ve previously read a Jenika Snow book and found it wasn’t quite in-depth enough for me, but I was willing to give the author another try. With this one, I found my feelings were much the same as my feelings towards my prior Jenika Snow read.
The story was much quicker than I would have liked, without the depth I would have preferred. Things happened quickly, and the story never gave as much as I would have liked. It was all very insta and surface level, which wasn’t quite enough for me.
I’m sure some will enjoy this quick read, but it wasn’t enough for me.

Man, I hate then this happens. I went into this book not having read anything by the author before, but when I was signing up for the arc, I thought the premise looked very promising and I haven't read an office romance in ages.
Unfortunately, this story felt quite incomplete and very very rushed. I didn't get invested in their romance and didn't feel any special connection between the main characters. And I guess that's because there was so much inner monologue and hardly any back and forth conversation between them. Like, the whole of their blind date time they exchange a total of 5 maybe 6 sentences of actual dialogue? And even later, when their relationship is supposed to be developing, still no actual dialogue.
Furthermore, they kept using each other's first name when they DID actual talk to each other, which was kind off-putting.
And the connection to the OG Cocky book, Stuck-Up Suit? It made sense when it started and I was cool with it being just a stepping stone for the Wicked Bedmate and Graham and Soraya making no further appearance in the book, but what happened in the epilogue just didn't make sense. It felt forced and completely out of place with the whole narrative, however lacking, of this book.

Out of work, she throws herself into the job search and is unexpectedly setup on a blind date by her best friend with her best friend's brother.
Enter Jason Shelby.
Jason is a Chief Financial Officer in the financial district at Baxter and Calvin. The very embodiment of the man who embarrassed Linda when he fired her. But beneath the crisp white shirt and tweed gray jacket, Linda is met with a man who is comfortable in a burger joint and just as charming and down-to-earth as he is confident and sophisticated.
Call it luck, but I call it fate. Linda becomes the new administrative assistant for Jason which gives this read a somewhat forbidden feel. Because of priorities Linda is apprehensive of a relationship, add in the man she was instantaneously drawn to becoming her new boss and Linda finds herself resisting Jason... But one can only resist for so long, especially when the one who is chasing is as persistant and driven as they come.
The beginning of this novel felt slow for me which I wasn't expecting given the premise of said novel. However, once the heroine and hero meet the book takes on a fast-paced vibe. I loved Linda's inner thoughts about Jason and how she secretly liked his chasing and possesiveness.
I couldn't get enough of Jason Shelby! Jenika Snow has written an uber sweet yet utterly sexy novel that is filled with instant everything–attraction, chemistry, and love. And oh my heart that epilogue! Gah, what an addition to the Cocky Hero Club!!

Wicked Bedmate was the fourth book I have read in the Cocky Hero Club series so far and it is now moved to my list of favorites. I just fell and loved both of these characters, the chemistry was amazing too and both the female and male leads had this genuine-ness about them. That you could tell just by reading that they were both good people and sincere in their actions. I know this is supposed to be the Cocky Hero but I don't know there was just something about Jason that though I found him as an Alpha Male and going definitely for what he wanted - he didn't come across as an arrogant cocky dude, which I liked as I am all for Alphas but when they move to jerk-status, that's when I turn off a bit. The book starts with Linda having the worst day of her life as she has been fired from her latest job and it wasn't even really her fault. She calls for a night of pity party with her best friend Michael. During this evening of drinking, Michael tells Linda he has set her up for a blind date with his boyfriend David's brother. In her drunken state, she readily accepts. The next day, of course, she learns Michael is serious and now she can't back out. Linda meets Jason - David's brother and the pair hit it off. They have an amazing date. Linda though needs to get back to her reality of looking for a job and attending job interviews. She has one at Baxter and Calvin as a PA to the CFO- Mr. Shelby. Turns out that her Jason is none other than Mr. Shelby - her new boss. Linda doesn't want to threaten her job, so tries to stay away from him whenever she can but what happens when Jason won't give up that easy as the cockiness comes out in his "What I want, I get no matter what" attitude.

The synopsis for Wicked Bedmate by Jenika Snow was enticing; I couldn’t wait to read it. ‘Getting fired and humiliated in front of everyone’.....’Set up on a blind date’. This book had the makings of a sexy office rom-com.
You first meet Linda and her best friend, Michael; they were charming, humorous, and totally cute. The blind date scene, when Linda meets Jason, was hilarious and written perfectly! I could almost feel Linda’s humiliation myself during her ‘walk of shame’.
Unfortunately, the second half of the book felt rushed and disconnected. Days or weeks would pass with little detail about the couples’ interactions. I would have liked more scenes together in the office....full of secrecy and sexual tension. Because there was so little detail about the progression of the relationship, I found it hard to buy in to the speed at which they went from strangers to sole mates.
The prologue, six months later, didn’t make sense to me as it featured characters we barely met; it didn’t seem to belong in this book. I continuously felt like big chunks of the story were missing.
Wicked Bedmate was a 3 Star book for me, however I do recommend reading it for yourself. Maybe a short sexy read is just what you need. The premise of the story was really interesting; it just lacked detail. So try it for yourself and enjoy.

I do love office romances, and this one was done very tastefully. This was my first read by this author, and I really enjoyed the characters!
After being humiliated and fired, Linda, along with the pressure of her best friend, goes on a blind date. She's so nervous thay she starts drinking before her date shows up, only to have a wonderful time. The only problem is that she wakes up next to her blind date with no memory of what they did the night before. She does the walk of shame before her job interview, and wouldn't you know.. the man who's bed she just crawled out of is now her new boss.
Jason is really enamoured with Linda, which is definitely a problem for him. They are both set on not letting their personal lives get entwined with their professional one since Linda really needs this job -- but you just can't fight what is meant to be.
Overall this was a really wonderful story. I thought it was a little too rushed in my opinion, but definitely worth reading!

Well, well, well, Wicked Bedmate is a delicious addition to The Cocky Hero Club collection of books and I gotta say that I’m really enjoying this series. Jenika Snow gives us Linda and Jason’s love story. Linda is one of the many administrative assistants that Graham Morgan has hired and fired. She’s a sweet girl and a hard worker but very few have survived the Stuck Up Suit and his temper. Jason is a CFO and in general a really, really nice guy. The two meet on a blind date and there’s a definite spark between them. She gets drunk, he takes care of her and the following morning she wakes up dazed and confused in his bed. Things only get worse when she goes on a job interview and Jason is her perspective boss. From here on out it’s a game of will they or won’t they because the chemistry between them is off the charts hot. Watching them fall head over heels in love with each other makes this a thoroughly enjoyable read.

This is a quick, smoking hot read. I really love Jenika Snow's writing. The attraction between Jason and Linda is instant.
There are only certain writers I trust with this kind of Instalove. Jenika Snow is one of those.
