Commander (Commander in Briefs #1) is the story of Anniston McCallister and Theo Von Bremen. Friends since they first met when they were barely teenagers. It’s friendship that defines all other friendships for them. A friendship they’ll do anything for each other. A friendship that blossoms into something else! including the Commander in Briefs series…

Seriously Kristy you’ve hooked me. Theo & Anniston are relationship goals (when they finally figure it out). This book was so entertaining. The banter, the character development, the storyline, the love. I COULDN'T GET ENOUGH. All the new characters who were introduced have me so excited to read the rest of the series. I need An’s boys to have HEA! Just do yourself a favour & read this

This book had all the feels, wasn't quite what I expected going in but I thought it was an amazing debut novel and a lovely surprise.

Anniston is such a strong, domineering woman with a huge heart and will cherish, love, push and offer unwavering support and loyalty to her gorgeous boys. I love her kink, passion and never ending hunger for her player.

Theo was so frustratingly seductive, funny, crude, completely out of line most of the time. I wasn't sure if I wanted to slap him or kiss but oh lord did he worm his way into my heart.

And then there's Cade, the damaged but oh so sexy green eyed beast. He had me at hello.

These boys, this family of misfits. Keep writing Kristy Marie I'm so looking forward to Book 2.

It was well written and I loved the veterans especially Cade. To be honest I really wanted him to be the front runner. Theo’s behaviour really alienated him to me and I found it hard to like him after his behaviour at college especially the virginity issue. That should have been impossible to come back from, how anyone could do that and say they loved the person is unbelieveable. It was especially heart breaking because she had lost everyone and he was all she had for her to treat her so badly and abandoned her after I think it was particularly cruel and would have left more scars and abandonment issues. I don’t think she would have come back from it like she did and I didn’t respect that she then went casual with him even though she held him at arms length. To be honest he just couldn’t come back from this for me. It was too harsh and cruel to someone already broken and not the way you would treat someone you loved even if you did panic.

He proclaimed that he loved her but he constantly hurt her, leaving her heart broken. I thought it was mean misogynistic rubbish that he kept flaunting girls in front of her not caring how it hurt her but wouldn’t let any guys get near her. He disrespected her frequently and tried to control her, having his cake and eating it too. I liked Ains but was turned off that for a strong women she kept letting him treat her like that.

I loved Cade and the boys. I really wanted him to come out on top or have a #whychoose. Cade showed so much respect and love for Ains. He was rock solid. Treating her the way she deserved. Whilst Theo improved towards the end but i never liked him after college and found I couldn’t fully warm up to him after the way he treated her before. Even when she had the vertans he still didn’t treat her with respect. He belittled her too show ownership even if she didn’t mind it.

Excellent dealing of PTSD and veteran issues, so much love and bravery and comradery.
I just hadn’t couldn’t get over Theo to truly love what would have been a great book.

Wow, this book was awesome. I loved the relationship between theo and 'commander' I loved his jealousy and confidence. I loved the family she built and although I know she needed to be with Theo I did kinda hope for a little something to happen with one of the other guys. Excited to read their books next. Glad I've discovered this author.

I volunteered to read an ARC to Commander in Briefs. This book...Wild. Crazy. Epic. Debut novel you say? Then this is definitely a star studded starter book for Kristy Marie. Loved the 3 way POV. I laughed at Theo’s craziness, and his ongoing taunts!!! I loved Ans character development just because I love a girl who knows what she wants. That’s mint. And Cade, who fueled the fire when he came into Anniston’s life and stuck around for her??? Her redemption. This was a definitely a fun read. Find out for yourself what happens to this trio full of craziness and awesomeness at the same time.

Lucky I don't like sleep....because Commander in Briefs had me awake all night. I could not put it down. "Just one more chapter" was said continuously until I hit the end.
This was not your traditional friends to lovers story. It was completely different to what I expected. BUT I LOVED IT. It was honestly a beautiful story.
Anniston was just an absolute gem. She has the biggest heart, embraces who she is, has no filter what so ever and is just down right hilarious. The way she opened up her home to those Marines honestly warmed my heart and how she went above and beyond to help every single one of them. I loved her banter with Theo and their back and forth. Their friendship/relationship was the definition of true love. They have insane chemistry and the scenes between them are seriously hot!! They are both just as dirty as one another. But in a good way... lol
Theo. I have a love/hate relationship with that man. There were so many moments that I just wanted to punch him. I agree that he didn't deserve Anniston and it honestly made me annoyed at her at times that she put up with him.
Cade. Gorgeous Cade. Why tease us with him? Like seriously?! Come on!!
As much as I cried and was so happy by the end of this book, there was a part of me hoping that it would have gone in a slightly different direction.
I cannot wait to read Gorgeous and Drifter. I have fallen in love with all of those sweet men!

Loved this second part to their story. Loved the banter and the non blood family that they pulled together. Theo and Ans banter was a crack up.
    Narration was awesome.

It was a total waste of time. Here is my advice for you, don't read it, you are going to regret. I am saying this because I wish someone had done that for me. Anyway, let me tell why I hated it. Theo is the worst person in the world. He is crude, arrogant, dramatic and is full of childish behaviors. He pissed me of the whole book because he acts like a kid, and he expects Ans to do everything he wants, the way he wants and when he wants, which is horrible. My jaw would drop all the time in horror. He treats Ans like trash, since always.
Their story had everything to be perfect but Kristy Marie threw it all away developing an awful male character that no girl wants to date and an also awful female character. I missed feminism here, a lot unfortunately. In the first book (Pitcher) I was pitting Anniston so much, because she was an angel but here, after years and years of a toxic friendship she is almost as bad as him. I still think that it his faul everything because he started and she just reacted. Plus the whole book is terrilble, THIS IS NOT A LOVE STORY. It was all a plot for you to think it is, because it is not. This is about Anniston and the Marines journey, which was so NOT what I was expecting. The book is long, and you put your time in it, reading crude chapters, where Theo treats Ans like pure trash and she lets him, encourages even. And the fact that the author wanted to make this a triangle is even worse. I hated that almost every guy in this book wants Ans because it gets tiring. I feel like this book endorses bad behaviors and extremely toxic realationships and acting that you should never follow. That is what pained me the most. They kept hurting each other all the time, my heart would cry for them, specially in the beginning. I hope you future readers take my advice and don't read this. And please Kristy, don't write something like this ever again. I was so disappointed because I read IOU and Subscriber war before this and loved, these two books were nothing like this one, I so did not see this coming.

This friends to lovers romance it's something new. If you think you already know how its goes, well be ready to be.... challenged... The storyline is really overwhelming, but it becomes at some point a testosterone war. The characters? I loved so much Cade!! Lol! Is the first time it happens. I can't say I didn't like Theo at all. And here I have to congratulated the author for the excellent choice for the model on the cover! He's 100℅ alike Theo. Theo is a champ of the a•••le attitude. You will like and hate him. She? Aniston is the star. Everyone likes her. She's the sun. There to be craved, admired, respected and loved. And then comes him....and for the first time, I have been rooting for a secondary character. Cade has stollen my heart from the very first moment. I honestly would liked so see them together. Cade and Ans. But it never happens. So I really hope that the second book will be Cade's. And hope as hell that Kristy gets a real woman in mind for my babe.

A-hole heroes are a turn on for me. Add up a strong, feisty heroine who do not take orders from men and rather orders them, who knows what she wants and who definitely raises the girl power flag and I am drenched. Dripping...panties soaked only to realize it melted in no time. Commanders In Briefs is that book for me. The author had no qualms in throwing a hero with A-hole painted in the forehead, bold, underlined, all caps you wanted to kick in the shin then french kiss at the same time butt grabbed afterwards and a heroine you wanna slap in the butt cheering for more girl power and "You can do more girl! Don't hold back! Be who you are! I am living vicariously through you!

When I learned about this book months ago, you bet I had my eyebrows raised because Kristy who? Kidding, definitely kidding because for those who knew me knows exactly how I have a soft spot for new authors. And you bet I was raising my hands and feet just to have a chance reading this book. I might have begged the PA and the author to give it to me stat because I am soo excited I could not wait for the release day.And I am ecstatic that I made the right choice reading it and supporting Kristy because she did not disappoint. For a first timer, Kristy made me in awe. For a first timer, this woman rocked my world. The journey I had with Commander In Briefs, evoked a lot of emotions in me. So to Kristy, A BIG F. U TO YOU! I was a mess at work, a wrong move in my part when I chose to finish it.

The first thought that came to my mind the moment Commander In Briefs landed my kindle was, Jessica (Kristy's PA) never mentioned it being an encyclopedia. I should run because there's no way I can finish it without getting bored. But hooray! How I wish it's longer than this, I needed another volume of an encyclopedia because I want more of this book. It doesn't mean I wasn't satisfied but more like, I don't want this book to end. It was an incredible journey, one I had the pleasure of reading and won't mind rereading until I can get my next Kristy fix.You cannot blame me. Commander In Briefs is nothing I ever expected. The tone, suggests a love triangle and as much I wanna say I am a glutton for punishment I wasn't in the mood to have my heart broken this time. Menage, well? Try me and I am up even for may be a RH. ;) But I am so glad I rooted for this book until the very end, because as I said the book was not I expect it to be. It

Commander In Briefs is a journey unlike no other. With an A-hole hero and a strong heroine, I had a blast. I was drawn into the story, hooked and engrossed the moment I read the first line. Lo and behold, aside from the blurb that caught my interest, it was what fueled me to go on further with my reading. Theo and Anniston aren't your ideal best friends/ friends with benefits hero and heroine. I love their dynamics and I love the thought of them together. The character they portrayed was easy to get into that I had no hard time riding in their journey. Their chemistry was off the charts hot, hence several ruined panties. The author did not hold back with their scenes. She did not even hold back with their characters. Anniston may seem too much but no, she's not. She's the "it" heroine for me. I love her to death and being paired up with Theo,, I was in heaven for all things' goodness and delish treats. If there's such as thing as "A-hole coma" I sure was in that state reading this book. I was given with not just the scorching scenes but with laugh out loud moments and all things only A-hole Theo can do. But hold up, remember this, A-hole Theo is not just F*ckable Theo. Hell! He is the sweetest and lovable A-hole. Together, they are as explosive as fireworks gracing us in the night sky. I love the love they felt for each other, with their antics, Lordy my journey was one a crazy ride!

Now, I mentioned love triangle. Made no mistake as this story is not. In fact it was far beyond a love story involving a man and a woman romantically. If you get to read this book, the journey is quite different but I assure you there was so much love involved. For what it is, I need you to read it. See for yourself what I am gushing about.Anniston was a Commander in her own ways. What she did was honorable enough for her earn a badge of honor. What she did made me love her even more.If there's top list of heroines, she easily earned the number 1 spot. I adored her because beneath her strong nature, lies a perfectly imperfect woman. Through her, I met Cade, the one I thought would break the love and friendship built and cemented over the years between Theo and Anniston. Cade, had my heart and really at first I want him for Ans. He's an enigma to me , but in the end I realized one thing. He is really not meant to be Ans lover but I still love him like any hot blooded woman will do. Aside from Cade, I met more men that made my journey even more interesting. They did it for me. I may have teared up several times and my heart sure did almost burst with so many emotions. Each have brought a different meaning to this journey, each and one the same goal --- family, belongingness and love.

In totality, I highly recommend this book. If you're as crazy as me who loves A-hole heroes and strong heroine, then this book is for you. I would love for you to read, savor and devour it. There's no doubt you'll love it as much as I did. Commander In Briefs was addicting and hard to put down. It was easy to get into and the love story, their journey, was one I am glad I rooted until the very end. For a debut, this book is brilliant! Kristy was so clever weaving this tale of family, friendship and love. Her excellent writing and stellar imagination was on point. I love the heart she poured into this gem because you can clearly feel it as it seeped through its pages. And that EPILOGUE!!! Holee-mother-effing mess it made me, snotty crying like a baby. It was AMAZING and pretty much paved what await's us to the next books Kristy is planning to write.

Great job Kristy! Now, get your back to writing! I need Cade in my life!

What an excellent debut novel. This was as close to perfect as you can get. The storyline was well thought out. The writing was on point and the characters were completely adorable. Thank you Kristy for writing a book whereby both the main characters had disabilities. I have first hand experience of them, being the mum to 3 registered disabled children so to see that projected into words was amazing. Theo is such a cocky but loveable guy. He is funny, charming and so alpha. He is pretty much perfect as a leading male. Anniston is my new girl crush. She has so much fight and she grew so much in this book. Not to spoil the story but the ending was fitting. Would buy anything this author does in future as this standard of writing is rarely seen. Can not wait for Cade's book.
