    This is my first book in the "A Cocky Hero Club Novels" and I just loved it so much. It's my perfect type of romance the slow burn it gives a more realistic feel to the story for me. "Lucky Bastard" had me right from the first page until the very last word as I become invested in Emma and Landon.

    To read the growth in Landon from the cocky football player to the man that we would all love to have was a total enjoyment. I am sure this is a first time read by this author for me but after reading this book I will have to look a little bit closer to other great stories.

    The book was Fun, Flirty, Sexy, Hot, Swoon-worthy, Great Banter, Sweet and loving and I thank Kaylee Ryan for sharing this story with us all. A brilliant way for me to start this series of books that I am very much looking forward to be reading. A true love story.

    I received this ARC book and have given my honest opinion.

    Lucky Bastard is part of the Cocky Hero World and this story flows seamlessly into it. With the help of a couple of our original favourites, Landon and Emma steal our hearts right from the start. A story that at times feels like a chase but then the chemistry and attraction prove that all wrong. As hearts are laid on the line, positions are put into contention and risking one love for another just to ensure you finally get your everything. Lucky Bastard will have you charmed into their world, feeling breathless, enamored and hoping that Landon makes the play of a lifetime to score the winning touchdown for his heart. A witty, steamy romance that will have you seduced and spellbound until the very end.

    I loved that this book goes back to the OG cocky bastard, I laughed so hard reading this book. I loved the banter that Landon and Emma exchanged, I loved how he fought for them when she thought it was just a game to him. It's sweet, swoony and captivating. I hated having to put it down to be an adult, I just wanted to continue to devour. A brilliant addition to the this club! Highly recommend, Kaylee did beyond a brilliant job bringing this book to life.

    I wasn’t sure on this book the blurb sounded good but the tittle made me think it was going to be on the trashy side full of sex sciences and meaningless words but I’m glad to report it was none of those it’s a long slow burn to love with some laughs along the way with both Emma and Landon great lead roles it made for a book I had trouble putting down. I can’t wait for more in the series

    A different style of book I usually go for but reading some reviews I thought I would give it a go and I’m pleasantly surprised to say the least. I loved the characters, the almost love at first sight and the sweetness and the ahhhh moments and a bit of heat too. Landon is a dream of a man, when he falls he falls hard, my kind of man! Why can’t all men be more Landon. Gorgeous,gorgeous book. I’m so glad I gave this book a chance.

    I will start by saying that I've not read any of the Cocky Hero books. Not even one. I've seen them. Thought about reading them. Read the blurb and thought about how interesting they sound. But I never did make time to sit down and read any of them. But this is one of my absolute favorite authors. And I'd read anything she writes. And now, I'm hooked on these books! After reading Lucky Bastard, I absolutely have to go back and read the others!

    Emma is just a girl. Who loves football. Living her life. There isn't really anything that sticks out about her, she really is the girl next door. But when her bestie drags her to a rival teams football game, a chance meeting leads to so much more than she ever could have imagined!

    Landon is the starting quarterback. He has the world at his feet. But one glimpse of Emma, and his world is spinning out of control! He doesn't know where it will lead, but he knows that he wants to be around her, wants her in his life. And he will do anything possible, anything necessary, to overcome her reluctance.

    This book is everything that I've come to enjoy from this author, and so much more! I love an insta-love story, I love the perfectness of that once in a life time romance, and the immediate connection of it all. I love sports romance too, for that hotness factor! And this book has all of that in spades! Add in some twists and turns that totally came out of left field, and this book sucked me in from page one! Just be aware, you won't be able to stop with this book. If you are like me, you will want to continue through the series! I can't wait!
