Rough Rider is book three in the Sugar County Boys series, and I loved it as much as the first two.
This story is full of sexy times, sweet times and a little drama thrown in but not overly done!
Hope she adds more to the series!

This is absolutely my favorite book in this series. Shepherd and Chasity are a perfect match for each other. The moment they meant you knew it was gonna be one hell of a story. Their story maybe short, but it’s sexy and action packed, that you will want definitely want more. Great characters, an amazing story that you must one click.

So here's the thing: either I've overdosed on Madison Faye or the Sugar County Boys series was just not for me. Thus far, Madison Faye has been one of my go to's when I need something filthy and quick or a palette cleanser between longer, more serious books. I don't expect anything but smut and a good time, so the bar isn't set terribly high. There was just something about Rough Rider that rode me the wrong way. From the "meet cute," to the unrealistic sex in the bed of a truck in a public parking lot, to all of the dirty talk, and some of the other plot elements and details I won't go in to here (no spoilers) - it was just too much for me and not in a great way. I still have faith in the author and this definitely won't sour me from continuing to read her works - I just think that this series wasn't for me... and perhaps I'll space out the consumption of her books a little more (as I binge read 3 of them in a row and that could be part of the reason I feel so over/under whelmed). As it is I give Rough Rider 2.75/3 wine glasses.

This book is sooo good.
I believe Shepherd was the character we knew the least about and his story and motivations was such a huge surprise.
Don't get me wrong: he's still a bad boy and I loved every single second of it.
There's just more to him that just that.
Him and Chasity are such a perfect power couple; I love it.
She's a badass.
In fact, from what I've gathered so far, the men from Sugar County might be the proclaimed bad boys but let me tell you: these ladies they're getting hitched to?
You really don't wanna get on their bad side.
Don't let their initial shyness or compliant and docile demeanor fool you. You'll be surprised later.
Im loving these books so much!
I'm currently reading book 5 - last one released, as of now - and I really hope Madison Faye adds more books to this series.

The beginning of this book starts off with a bang and doesn't stop till the very end. We finally get Shepherd's story and what a bang it is. We knew from the first book that he was into some stuff but never did I imagine he was into this. But not only did I not imagine him being into what he is into, but he finds someone just as fun and in need of a new life as he is.
I felt for Chastity right away. She is just trying to find her way in life. Young and wanting to get away from her step-father she finds this to be the only way to get out of her situation. But when she meets Shepherd, she never imagined she would find her soul mate at a dive bar.
I enjoyed this story from the Sugar Country Boys. Keep these great stories coming Madison!

Book three in the Sugar County Boys series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. A hot one night stand and a chance meeting the next day at a meth cook house leads to Shepherd and Chastity handcuffed together and fleeing with a duffel bag full of cash. They each have their own reasons for needing the cash. Short and Steamy, I loved it!

Madison Faye has done it yet again! I'm seriously loving this Sugar County Boys series. All of her books are hot, i havent found one yet that i didnt thoroughly enjoy. I was wondering if this one was gonna be a bit of a let down after the epic hotness that radiates out of Long Hard Truckers, but she pulled this off beautifully. Even without having two lead men in this book, Rough Rider is every bit as hot and sexy as the book before it, Long Hard Truckers. Something about the outlaw and the wild child socialite scenario, just works! It reached epic levels of pure sexiness. The heroine is by no means innocent or virginal, she's confident, intelligent, and has a wild streak a mile long. She goes against the grain in the high society she's grown up in. Stealing her stepdad' s cars, breaking into safes, and sneaking out are all regular things for this girl. She's just not made to blend in, and these attributes are what make her the best Madison Faye heroine out of all of them, in my opinion. The hero, is the badboy, outlaw, black sheep of his family. His brother is the responsible one, the one who always bailed him out of whatever situation he foind himself in. He's a bit reckless, and all dirty talkin, sexy as sin, tattooed, alpha male. I love the way she writes her leading men with filthy mouths. Im a serious fan of Madison Faye's brand of dirty talk! It just doesnt get much better than that. This story is sooo hot, & wild, and full of action! If you're a fan of rough, bad boy, outlaws, with sexy bodies and filthy mouths, you're definitely gonna want to read this one! This book contains a LOT of very explicit sex, so if you're under 18, or that's just not your thing, you may want to pass. If this kind of book is your thing tho.., you really need to read it asap, along with the rest of the series! Make sure you have a fan and a cold drink nearby when you read this, you'll need it!

Rough Rider is the third book in the Sugar County Boys series. Chastity is getting desperate to escape the life she’s being forced into. In a wild attempt at escape, she decides to rob a drug den and then create a new life with the money as she runs with her mom. Shepherd is finally ready to settle down into his own homestead, but had borrowed money from the wrong people. Since he’s already untamed, he decides to rob a drug den to pay off his debts. What happens when two people try to rob the same drug den at the exact same time? What happens when these two people already have a history and can’t keep their hands off of each other?
Oh my goodness, this book was fun and steamy and kind of crazy, but also just a delightfully entertaining read! Chastity has some major lady balls to go from being a pampered princess to robbing a drug den with a shotgun! And Shepherd was amazing, definitely a wild man with untamed desires but also a slightly more vulnerable side that has him wanting to settle down. They were just explosive characters, and I loved how they got handcuffed together and how creative (and wicked) they got together. I also definitely enjoyed the plot line and was very curious to see the fallout from their robbery. This book was so fun to read, full of insta-lust and insta-love, and will take you on a ride for an entertaining evening reading!

In this book we get Shepherd's story and we are introduced to Chastity. What happens when to people hook up one night at a bar and find themselves robbing the same drug kingpin the next day? Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke right. Well you would be sorta right this is how this book opens up for Shepherd and Chastity. However outrunning bad guys, trying to avoid the man your family is always feuding with, as well as start something that means something. Now that is a ride only the special few can ride. Can these two make it out alive as well as find their HEA or are the cards just to stacked against them?
This is another super hot book in this series. Each book can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading of them in order just to avoid giving away any surprises. There are ups and downs in this book that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. What a fun ride! This book was steamy and adventurous all wrapping into one short and sweet book! It all starts with a one night stand (doesn’t it always, lol) and leads to an adventure with some money thrown in.
Shepherd and Chastity have instant heat, lust, and passion in their one night stand. There are no words for the night they have together. The next thing we know (and they know) there are handcuffs, money and running. They each have valid and important reasons for trying to steal what they do, and it becomes the question of the story: Is their passion and lust for each other more important? Or will all that money win?

This, the third of the Sugar County Boys is one hot and sexy read, the best of them so far. We have Chastity and Shepherd who meet in a seedy bar and the action starts right off with a bar room brawl. The action doesn't end there, the steam continues soon afterward 8with them taking their instant attraction to the back of Shepherds pickup truck, then onto the next day when they both unknowingly, rob the local bad guy's meth lab. The action, adventure and sexy just gets hotter and more frequent from there. I really enjoyed the heat and attraction that Chastity and Shepherd bring to this story. They face each wrinkle in their story together with much affection and cooperation, which helps because a lot of it happens with them handcuffed to each other lol.

You wanna know the best thing about Madison Faye? Whenever I read her books, I know exactly what I'm going to get, every single time. A sexy, sweet, over the top romance packed with a whole lot of insta-love, steamy goodness, and alpha makes that make you swoon.
Rough Rider is the third standalone novella in the Sugar County Boys series and what a stunner this was. This book delivered a dangerous, unforgettable, and incredibly sizzling hot romance that had me squirming in my seat and fanning myself. And while this book might be little, it packed a serious punch straight to the panties and heart.
If you like safe, easy, not a whole lotta thought kind of books then Madison is a must read every time.

Another great read in this series. Shephard is Colton’s brother and was the one that held a gun at Lawson in Bucking Bronco. Shephard sleeps with a woman and has a fantastic night with her until she leaves whilst he is asleep the next day. Shephard goes to do the one job that will give him enough money to payback Lawson. What he doesn’t bank on is the woman from the night before, Chastity, being there to rob the joint he is. Chastity is on the run from her stepfather after he seals her fate by promising a partner in crime her hand in marriage. With the money gone, a visit to Lawson to pay his dues and Billy Ray wanting what’s his, will the bad guys be beat? Will Shephard and Chastity walk away with their lives in tact? A great read from start to finish.

Goodness this was a explosive smutfest, I mean that in the best way. I absolutely adored these characters I really think that these two have the most explosive chemistry I have ever read about. Chasity and Shepherd are smoking and can not keep their hands off one another. They are both trying to move forward in life, Shepard needing to pay off loan, and Chasity is trying to get away from her controlling step dad, and save her mom. These two are very liked minded and end up both pulling a robbery at the same time and then well they are stuck together.
I loved these two it was southern goodness, but still so steamy , I could only imagine the bruises these two have from all their uncomfortable banging. I really hoping their are more Country Men ahead.

I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy of Rough Rider. Any book that starts off with "Son of a bitch", and it's written by Madison Faye, you know it's going to be pushing all boundries. That opening statement had me laughing, and totally captivated until the very end. Loved the book so much, I bought a copy, so I would have it on all of any of my e-readers. Even though I have read a few, lol, of her books, they are never the same ole thing just new names new town. Each book, each story, totally captivates me for totally different reasons. This book had me from Son. Enjoy! You'll be a devoted fan by the end!!

Number 3 in the series and just as hot as the first or even hotter! Chasity and Shepherd against all odds go from one meeting to the next with a surprise. Both are trying to desperately change their lives and need money to make it happen and they run into each other robbing the same drug house. From one crazy night after the next will they get their new lives or just more problems. A robbery gone sideways, some handcuffs, action and drama with a whole lota steamy with a HEA! This is one steamy read you don’t want to miss. Hopefully we will get more on this series Shepherds sister, Silas and maybe a story on Law too.

An Awesome Read!
I loved reading Rough Rider, all about Chastity Huntington a young women who’s look.ing for trouble and she ran into Shepherd Bronson. Shepherd is a hot cowboy and gorgeous to look at and when he runs into Chastity at the dive bar last night, he thinks his luck is looking up! The author wrote a story about a women who like to break out and break into things! Read about Chastity & Shepherd who are explosive together, and find out just how that turns out! This is the third book in this series and I’ve read all of them and each one is better then the next! So give this series a shot! I loved reading all of them!

I actually really liked this story. It’s short and sweet which is typical of Madison Faye books. But I feel like we got more storyline with this one. More meat and potatoes in such a short period time. I mean there was plenty of bumping and grinding per the usual but in between that we got background for why they were doing what they were doing.
I kind of want a book about Law Banner falling for someone. I mean I now he is the proverbial bad guy but I want him to get a girl too. Especially since he does seem to have some sort of morals. Even being a gun runner and a pot dealer.

Another smashing smutty hit from Madison Faye. Its like a Bonnie and Clyde story but add in the smut and you have a winner. I loved the last Sugar County series book but there is something about Shephard and Chasity where you just knew they were meant to be together. The chemistry and their obvious choices in life just made a perfect match and a really enjoyable read.
If you like some action, romance, betrayal and more than this is for you. I really enjoyed this story that is packed into a smaller package but hit the spot.

These sugar county boys are made for wet dreams. Chastity and Shepherd are two of a kind for sure. They’re both fierce and looking for a way to escape their lives. When they find themselves in a predicament after a sexy ride the night before, they have a little fun in the process of making things right again. A little adventure added in makes this a fun read that I couldn’t put down. I can’t wait to see what Madison has in store next. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Modern day Bonnie and Clyde
There is never a dull moment with these two. From an instalust meeting in a bar that led to a one night stand these two figures they would never see the other again. That is until they are robbing the same place at the same time. During the getaway shepherd realizes that her can’t let Chastity get away this time that he will keep her and claim her, lucky she starts feeling the same way. But, first there are some debts that’s must be paid. This one was action pack and full of steamy scenes. Glad to see Shepherd find his other half.

Shepherd and Chastity
This was so different and hot! So these two meet at a little hole in the wall bar, a bar fight ensures, and these two are fighting back to back, getting the job done and jonesing on each other during the battle. They have a drink and dance after and take it back to the truck! Shepard hit her spot all night long! I can’t cannot believe they met the next day while both attempting to rob a meth house! This is so awesomely entertaining and exciting that I read the whole thing without stopping, and I was at work! Can’t wait to read Taylor’s story.

This is book three in the Sugar County Boys series and it's the best one yet in my opinion. Each book can be read as a standalone but I think you'll enjoy them all.

After a pretty spectacular night together, Chastity runs out on Shepherd and directly to a meth house she intends to rob. Thing is Shepherd had the same idea and their night of bliss turns into a morning of hell.
Cuffed together and hiding out, these two have a little more time to burn up the sheets.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I love reading anything by this author. It is always a great escape.
Shepherd and Chastity met a bar one night and hit it off. Then they meet again at robbery where they are each trying to steal something. They decide to join forces as they were leaving. They both have reason for the money but their connection is stronger than their reasons. Will they be able to fix everything in order to have their happy ending?

I’ve said this before but I’m going to say it again can we talk about how amazing the covers for the Sugar County Boys series are??? *heart eyed emoji* Madison Faye has done it again I loved Rough Rider so much I couldn’t put it down it was short and dirty just the way I like it. I loved Chastity and Shepard and I loved their story. Another hit Madison can’t wait to read more.
