When I met Ryan, I might’ve been trying to break into his basement.

It was for a good cause. I swear. Also, my dog broke in first.

    What a swoon worthy read. I sat down to read a few chapters and before I knew it I had finished the book in one sitting!

    Ryan is hot hot hot and Addie is so different to the women he usually dates. Southern charm girl meets big city boy and the heat soars. Both Addie and Ryan have baggage and aren't sure about love and trust but their chemistry is strong. Love the New Orleans girl thrown into New York and even the small touches of first snow and skating at Rockefeller added to the magic of this fairytale.

    Sexy Suit by J. H. Croix is a new adult, contemporary romance that is a fun and steamy read.

    Addie first meets the handsome, cocky and wealthy Ryan Blake after he catches her trying to break into his basement. In her defence her dog did break in first. After a call to a doctor and a trip to the vets Addie expects never to see him again, much less than when she does, for him to kiss her. But of course things between them could never work, as Addie’s all cowboy boots and skirts, whilst he’s all expensive suites and ties. But what happens when Addie finds herself falling for him?

    This is a very sweet instant opposites attract story, with a sassy heroine and a slightly grumpy hero. I enjoyed this book, even though it’s not my usual type of romance. I enjoyed the supporting characters - especially Barnable - as well as the story line. This is my first read by J. H. Croix and it won’t be my last.

    Holy moly, where has J.H been hiding for me to have never read her before. Maybe I'm the one living under a rock? I devoured Ryan and Addie, I couldn't put them down which was perfect for a cold rainy day. My heart broke a little for this duo with their trauma. Loved they were able to understand the influence of terrible fathers and have that support. I loved that Ryan really wasn't as 'uptight as he often comes across and that Addie isn't afraid to call him out, I loved her sweet sass! I loved every moment of this book.

    Sexy Suit by J H Croix is a new standalone that is part of the cocky hero bookclub. It follows enigmatic billionaire Ryan and adventurous, sexy Addie. The pair meet unexpectedly when Addie is attempting to save her dog Barnable. Ryan sees a woman trying to break into his home but for some reason decides not to call the police. Sparks fly between the two and they share a fun little back and forth.

    Sexy suit is a fun, lighthearted, romance novel that is easy to read. The plot line is interesting and enjoyable with characters that are flawed but in an endearing way. The main characters have a slow burn romance with lots of chemistry and I love their dynamic. Overall, sexy suit was a great, easy read that I throughly enjoyed and would recommend to any romance fan.

    3.5 stars, I did enjoy this book but seemed it could of been more. It was a sweet romance but felt it could of had more information in it about Ryan’s family and addies etc it just seemed to not go into detail and just glide through, would of been good To go a bit deeper. I loved her dog barnable he was adorable! I love epilogues ! And this one had two which was great.
    I voluntary reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

    This book was meh. Lots of irrelevant details like mentioning of an Uncle that Ryan never calls back or that Ryan never finds out who his bio dad was. Also, other things mentioned that were of no consequence like details of who Addies dad was and when he died - nothing no implications nada. There was really no purpose for any of these inclusions just wasted words and time.

    That said, the first half of the book wasn’t bad the rest just dragged on and was so boring I wish I DNF. I just kept thinking that something was going to happen 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Graham made a few appearances as Ryan’s friend which was a nice touch.

    This is the first time reading a book by this author. I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book. This book is part of the Cocky Hero Club. There is something about a guy in a suit makes me go weak in the knees. I could not get enough of sexy suit Ryan. I love how Adelaide (Addie) kept true to her self. There really wasn't any drama in this book which was fine by me. The chemistry between Ryan and Addie was perfect. Thanks to Barnable we had a wonderful love story. I am a big fan of a Billionaire in a suit.

    SEXY SUIT is a standalone read with a happy ever after. There are lots of sexy scenes with some colorful language if that is an issue for you. This is a story of very opposites attracting. Ryan is a very wealthy, sexy, confident young man. He had a rough childhood and only recently found out good news regarding his father. Still the scars from his childhood are emotional and still with him. Losing his older brother 5 years ago still hurts as well.

    He saw his mother and father living in a marriage they both hated. Money was probably the reason they didn't divorce. They had plenty, neither one want to let go of it. Since their marriage was all he had to go on he decided a long time ago that it was not for him. He dated but he didn't stick around. The ladies knew up front that it would go no where regardless how they felt. If they stuck around, it was their choice. He would never be serious. With his money and his looks there were plenty of ladies that wanted to try their luck at landing the prize.

    Addie is from New Orleans. She wears cowboy boots with almost every outfit and she has a slow Southern drawl. I think a lot would find her a bit quirky. She is beautiful so most men will over look the weird fashion style. She meets Ryan in a rather unusual way. He is coming home from work and he is wearing a suit under his overcoat. Her first glimpse of him is to label him Sexy Suit!! He looks good in a suit. The name sort of sticks even after he introduces himself.

    Theirs is a hot attraction. He is feeling things for Addie that he has never felt for anyone, he is not even sure what the feeling is but he does know one thing...he wants her. Addie is fairly happy to go along with that plan. Addie is in New York because her late aunt willed her a Brownstone worth 2 million dollars. Addie writes greeting cards and makes good money doing it. She too had a rough childhood. Again a father issue. Seeing her mother pine after a man that will never give her the time of day Addie decides that wealthy, handsome men are off-limits for her. In fact, she pretty much protects her heart from any man.

    This is a good love story. Lots of humor with a friendly pup and some quirky side characters. It is an entertaining and fun read. Lots of hot sex as only Ms. Croix can write it. I definitely recommend this book.

    This book was so brilliant in the beginning. I found myself eager to read more and more. Ryan is soooo sweet with Addie. I really liked the way they met, it was out of the ordinary. Four stars is because around the middle of the book it got a little bit boring. But the end was nice.
