4.4 out of 5 stars 7,316 ratings

A modern day take on You've Got Mail with a twist. This laugh out loud and heartwarming romantic comedy from bestselling author Meghan Quinn will keep you on the edge of your feet as you fall in love with each and every blind date.

"Good Morning Malibu, it’s another beautiful day on the west coast! I'm Noely Clark, your host: and I'm in the market for love…”

When the publicity team of the new local restaurant, Going in Blind, began their search for a hot, local celebrity to promote the wildly popular eatery, they couldn’t have found a better person than me.

Outgoing? Check.
Single? Check.
Open to finding love? Check.

I signed up immediately.

A hopeless romantic with an exceedingly demanding schedule, I've found it impossible to find the man of my dreams—so Going in Blind seems too good to be true! That’s until they start setting me up on dates—three very different, very attractive, very distinct blind dates—and only one thing is for certain . . .

I’m in big trouble.

"Good Morning Malibu,
I'm Noely Clark, and I have a choice to make.
The question is who will I choose; the suit, the rebel, or the jock."

This review is going to be short and sweet. I loved this book so much, but, I don’t want to give anything away and spoil it. It’s so hard to do with a book like this. So short and sweet it will have to be.

Noely Clark is looking for love and thanks to a new restaurant… with a twist, Going in Blind allows clients to be matched and go on blind dates, however, when Noely is matched with three potential dates, The Suit, The Rebel, and The Jock, she has a decision to make. Join Noely as she embarks on her search for love. Who is her perfect match, and will it be love at first sight?

Ok, who has been hiding Meghan Quinn from me? Seriously, this isn’t funny anymore. You have to share the love. Three Blind Dates had me laughing out loud, it was such fun, I need to read… or listen to more from Meghan Quinn because this was such a fun experience. I loved the style and flow of the writing, it had me hooked. The storyline was interesting and kept my attention throughout. The twists were great, and I was kept guessing, even when I had the ‘I know who it is’ thoughts but then something would happen, and I’d think ‘but maybe….’ And then I’d go back to my original thought. It was so good. I love having those types of thoughts and reactions to a book. I really loved the cover, it is eye-catching and gives you an idea of the story. I don’t think it could get any better.

These characters are fantastic. I love them all. Meghan asked each person to pick a team before they started reading, it was tough, but I chose #TeamSuit and although both the Jock and the Rebel captured my attention, I must say that the Suit held my heart from the beginning. I did swoon over all three of them though… I may have suggested she keep them all. Noely was just awesome, I adore her. She’s funny and a little crazy but in a good way. I wanted her to find her perfect match and get her happily ever after. I so wanna go hang out with her and Dylan, they were a hoot.

Although funny rom com is not my first choice to read a friend recommended this one so off I went to settle down with a coffee and put my feet up. So I really liked this book. The writing is excellent, the story line good if not a little unbelievable in places but then that's what fiction is all about isn't it, and it had and some fantastic characters to devour.

Noely Clark is looking for love and a meaningful relationship so when a restaurant has a side line of a dating app attached called Going In Blind where you are matched and can meet there, this takes Noely's fancy and she is soon matched with three blind dates whom she labels the suit, the rebel and the jock. Soon we are taken on this interesting journey of discovery of these three men all from Noely's POV until the last few chapters when we see what two of the men are feeling. There were times when i giggled at some of the comments made and times when I had tears running down my cheeks - when Noely's brother finds out the Jock she is dating is a famous hockey player; well OMG it was hilarious and so well written and a delight to read.

All in all a great little book that had me second guessing who she might pick all the way through, just as you might think it is this one or that one, then the story took me on a different path. I pat myself on the back because right from the start I had an inkling who she would end up with and I was right !!!!

So if you want a easy funny uncomplicated read with great characters and a good story line go one click now !!!

When you are asked multiple times what you are doing and why you are laughing so hard (we're talking tears here people, yup in some places) you know that you're reading a good book. I so enjoyed the story and the characters. I could have spent a lot longer with them with no problem at all. Great story.

Really liked this story. Funny and great writingstyle. What has me annoyed though and knocking of two stars is that some authors forget what they wrote about their characters. For instance on their first date Jack asks Noely what it’s like to grow up with a sibling, he doesn’t know because he’s an only child. Then at the beach with the pumkins he’s telling Noely that he is there with his sister and her two munchkins. That really bugs me hence the three stars.

I wanted to read a story that was kind of "you've got mail". I have read virtual reality by Auryn Hadley and kitty Cox - I loved that. I read Glitch, which was weirdly paced but still enjoyable.

This wasn't really what I was after...but I wasn't mad about it. To me it was obvious who the mystery man would be.
I loved the humour in the book, the story was well paced and well written. Will definitely dive into this series

Morley is desperately looking for a meaningful relationship with a view to marriage and children. She is given a unique opportunity to try a new dating experience "Going in Blind". Because she used her company's equipment to record her profile ( she's a TV broadcaster), she has to present her expert with her viewers. She is introduced to her matches The Suit, The Rebel and The Jock.....the storytelling is hilarious and really sweet. Her co-host and her brother and sister-in-law inputs on her dating experiences had me crying with laughter. I loved it.

This book was a terrific read. It is a fan's love letter to the Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie: "You've Got Mail". The story is fun, exciting and romantic. It uses references to the movie "You've Got Mail" so if you haven't seen that movie you won't get it. Do yourself a favour and watch the movie on Netlix or somewhere and then read the book. I loved it soooooooo much!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A hilarious romantic comedy with lots of steamy scenes!

Good Morning Malibu host Noely Clark wants to find her forever... and she's got a list of her what she's looking for in a potential boo... someone who's a good cuddler, who can make her laugh and swoon, who will challenge her... He's also got to be a fan of hockey and Tom Hanks.

When Noely's boss puts her on the job to check out the new online dating app Going in Blind, Noely thinks she might finally get a chance to get her own happy ever after. I mean, the app literally gives her 'You've Got Mail' feels, her most favourite Tom Hanks movie! Signing up as 'ShopGirl', she comes across three perfectly matched, handsome, mouth-watering men: the Suit, the Rebel, and the Jock. Who is she going to choose? I'm telling you, it's like a dating quiz on Cosmopolitan.com.

Jack aka WindsorKnot definitely looks like he's just stepped out of Wall Street, rocking that impeccably polished suit and tie. He's the kind of man you'd assume to be assertive, in the boardroom and most definitely in bed. Talk about irresistible. Although he's quite broody and is a private man, he's quite the witty charmer who sure knows how to woo a woman with his romantic ways. He's the man who would take you out to fancy champagne-filled dinners, slow dancing, and soft walks on the beach. Winning!

Beck would have to be my guilty pleasure pick for Noely. He's the total rebel, with tattoos and a revving motorcycle to match. He's got the whole dirty grunge vibe, coupled with a taste of adventure and adrenaline. He's the super sexy wild ride every girl must've dream of at least once in her life. The resident bad boy you just can't resist. He doesn't seem like the type to take home to mama, but you know he's got your back. It's ride or die with this ultra sexy biker boy.

Hayden Holmes would have to be my top pick among these three men. He's a really talented hockey player but so incredibly down to earth. He's sweet, charming and the cute boy next door kind every girl must have crushed on. He's definitely the type you can bring home to mama and she'll immediately start talking about weddings and grandbabies. He's uncharacteristically adorable and will surely charm your pants off. Everything about him screams the 'best bet' and don't mind if I let him score a goal (Is that how hockey works?).

Meghan Quinn is such a genius in writing Three Blind Dates! It's so unique and filled with twists, you wouldn't know what's coming. You've Got Mail is one of my favourite classic movies, especially because I really enjoy watching Meg Ryan act (Sorry, Tom Hanks).

Noely's character is absolutely relatable, especially for most young single women out there. She's smart, vivacious, and quite headstrong. Her dates with these three very different yet charming men have also been... well... different, but she surely connected to them in some way. It's a unique twist as to how Noely finds her happily ever after even when her dates with these men have failed.

Also, let's not forget the other characters that made Three Blind Dates such a laugh out loud read! Noely's brother, Alex and his wife, Lauren, are freaking hilarious and I'm totally not kidding. Think Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne from The Neighbours. It's a miracle how I managed not to crack a rib while reading this book because these two are just unstoppable.

Three Blind Dates is going down as a favourite read this 2018. It's hilarious, filled with laugh out loud humor and witty banter, coupled with unforgettable romantic and steamy scenes. This book will devour you, and you're gonna love it. Don't worry, I know you're thinking it and I hate to burst your bubble, but the twist isn't some sort of menage, hah! I wouldn't be opposed to that idea though.

I can't wait to read more of Meghan Quinn's works. If you've read my previous post, you'll see she's a newcomer to my favourite authors list. If Passionflix ever gets a hold of this book, you know I'm so down for that.

I simply can't explain how much I enjoyed this book! It was deliciously beautiful and laugh out loud funny.
The story developed at a steady pace and the main character Noely grew throughout the book. The 3 love interests were all so well written and I fell in love with all of them. I enjoyed the secondary characters just as much. Her best friend was a great supporting character but I laughed the most at Noely's brother and his wife.
I read the book in one sitting as I just couldn't put it down!

It was fun to read with sassy characters, an interesting plot, hilarious dialogues, and a predictable ending. The pacing was fast, no endless inner monologues, some slapstick scenes ( her homemade perm).

This is the perfect book for a cosy afternoon on the couch with a hot chocolate with marshmallows.
