    WOW, this is a page turner that hooks you from the start. It jumps straight into things and seriously keeps you turning pages right up to the end. It gives you an emotional rollercoaster of events and keeps you guessing right to the end. Some stories start with a bang and drop off but this one keeps going right to the finish.
    It has a great Mafia/Bratva storyline with a spin on the Hades/Persephone love story. I have seen these written before but really, really enjoyed this one.
    Hot, hot HOT scenes with lots of spice that doesn't fall into continuous sex scenes.
    Get this on your TBR list ASAP!!

    What a whirlwind. I wasn't expecting the rush of this book - thank you Faith Summers! Strong pacing draws you into the fray, with murders, loss, anger and fury and passion. Needless to say it's a steamy read and one I look forward to continuing.

    This is Persephone and Lukiyan’s story! It contains lots of twist/turns, revenge, suspense, forced marriage, passion, and all you could possibly want in a book about the Mafi, The connection and chemistry between Persephone and Lukiyan was sizzling. Exceptional story.

    First, I want to say finally Judas was caught. Lukiyan is a secret weapon, a man who feels he has nothing to lose. Persephone is a lost young lady who is searching for love. If you have followed the Dark Syndicate series, you will enjoy this story more. To me, it's the perfect beginning to a new series in which well will get to see other characters like Aiden and Massimo come back.

    The book was okay. Seemed a bit rushed especially in the beginning. I enjoyed the plot. I wish the story was longer so we could enjoy the character development and the romance. I wasn't a fan of the author's decision to include a sex scene in the first chapter of the book. I prefer sex scenes to be added a bit further into the novel such as 30 % in to allow the chemistry between the characters to be developed.
