I’ve been in a reading funk lately, and Dirty Exes by Rachel Van Dyken was just what I needed. It had everything you want in a great book.. laughs, angst, drama, and a story you just can’t put down. The characters are amazingly written, and you just can’t help but fall in love with them!
From the opening few paragraphs of this book to the very end I was engaged in this story and the plot. Blaire is an amazingly written character who even though has had struggles of her own, has found a way to try to move forward by co-founding Dirty Exes with her friend Ilsa to out cheating spouses on Facebook Live. When her firm is hired to find out if Jessie Beckett, ex-NFL star and to Blaire, the one that got away, things definitely get interesting.
From running into Jessie’s best friend Collin, to awkward run in’s with Jessie, Blaire finds herself in some pretty unique situations. Trying to fight her attraction to Jessie, and figuring out if he is a cheater, and what happened to the guy she once knew. Through all of this, Blaire truly finds herself, peace in her failed marriage, and the perfect partner for herself, someone who makes her truly happy and balances her out.
I loved how this book played out. All the twists and turns, and the banter between all of the characters. I was always rooting for one of the guys to win over Blaire’s heart, and was hoping that she would make the right choice, but at times I would wonder if she would make the right choice or not. This was a book that had me on the edge of my seat, staying up way past my bedtime just to see what was going to happen next. I adored all of these characters, even when I wanted to hate them, and I really can not wait to get Ilsa’s book because let’s face it, she deserves her HEA as well!
If you’re looking for an amazing book that will make you laugh, swoon, and believe in love after heartbreak again, this is definitely the book for you. I can’t recommend Dirty Exes by Rachel Van Dyken enough, it’s a definite must read!

The love triangle was a little hard for me to get on board with, and when it played out, who ended up with who. But all in all this was a delightful read.I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
