Steel's a prick.

He stole my heart when I was a kid, and ever since, he's refused to let go. He's clung to me, even as he pushed me away, and I'm tired of it.

I'm over it, and over him. Of the games we play together, the endless waltz of him hurting me to shove distance between us.

So I'm out of there.

My future is medicine. If I turn into a crazy cat lady, then so be it. I'm good with that. At least Mrs. Biggins can't hurt my heart when she poops in my shoes...

Of course, Mrs. Biggins doesn't kiss like Steel either.

One kiss.

That's all we've had together, and it haunts me. My nights, my days, my waking moments, my sleeping ones. A single kiss. Where everything, the stars included, aligned and just felt right.

But Steel isn't mine to have... by his choice. And I've dealt with that. For years. So when he suddenly changes his mind? What am I supposed to do? Just fall at his feet?

I don't think so.

Find out if Steel and Stone can ever be together in STEEL, book four of A Dark & Dirty Sinners' MC series.

I liked this one, but it wasn't my favorite in the series. The hero and heroine spend most of the book physically healing from all sorts of medical issues. They are supposed to have this incredible bond, but I just didn't feel it. They spend so many years apart (more than e decade) and when they did finally (re)connect, one of them was in a coma for weeks on end and had to rehabilitate after.

I just didn't feel the connection or the romance between the two of them, like I did with the other couples in this series. I also found the heroine a bit of a push-over. I mean she watched the hero literally have sex with any snatch he came into contact with since she was 16 years old. After how he treated her (supposedly it was for her own good), she should have made him work a bit harder for it. She caved after she gave one little speech and then rolled right on over.

I like my heroines a bit more badass... like Giulia... now she was pretty awesome and I am salivating for Rachel and Lodestar's books. Now those are some badass bitches... at least I hope they still will be if or when we get their story.

Next up is Indy. Now she was nice enough in the previous books, but I can't say she really left an impression. Hopefully, that will change once I read her story because reading it, I definitely will!!

If you're into the MC world, you should really give this series a go.

Way too may bodily fluids even for a hardcore MC gang. If people weren't urinating on themselves they were throwing up, and that's before we even got to sexy parts and all that entails.

Plus the hero is on the short list for The Most Stupid Hero Award. He, at 19, has a major crush on the 15 year old heroine but wants to wait a few more months until she's legal. He finds out that

Plus as the fourth in the series I had no idea who some of these people were. Definitely NOT a stand alone.

I was looking forward to Steel and Stone’s book since I was first introduced to them in the previous book. I was so curious to see what had happened in their past to make Stone so angry at Steel. When I finally found out, I have to say I was really disappointed! The reason behind their fight just so DUMB! Not only that, I didn’t understand how they were SOOOOOO “in love” with each other and had been pining over one another for almost 20 years.

They basically grew up together and had a crush on each other, but both were too shy to say anything. They kissed ONCE when she was 15 and he was 19. Then Steel broke it off (for the most asinine reason ever) before they could even become anything. I didn’t get how they could be SO obsessed with each other, when they had never actually been together! It didn’t make a whole lot of sense. I’m sorry, but that’s not ever lasting love. That’s a teenage crush!

I didn’t feel any connection between Stone and Steel. They didn’t even get together until about 60% into the book! And even after they did get together, Stone was dealing with some medical issues, so they weren’t really together. They didn’t do anything physical (not even a kiss) until 75% into the book. So far they have been my least favourite couple.

What saved this book though was the overall story and all of the other characters.

⭐️ ⭐️ for the main couple, Stone and Steel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for everyone else and the general storyline.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the ending! God that ending! 🤯

I dislike second-chance romances a lot they make me so mad especially the stupid reasonings and inane actions that usually force the separation. I made an exception with this one as I love this author's books so much. And I’m glad I did there was so much more here than just my hated trope. Yes I was annoyed at Steels ridiculous reasonings they really were that idiotic but I also get that he had justified that he was protecting Stone all along. But all he actually did was damage and hurt her much more in the long run slowly turning Stone into someone unrecognisable from the loving girl she originally was and being constantly let down has left her guarded and afraid to trust.

After the Sinners MC close ranks to protect one they consider their own when she's hurt time is past due to bring Stone home to her family where she belongs. She’s a Doctor and it was always the eventual plan that her skills be utilised by the club. With a war in New York brewing, it’s no longer safe in the city add in a zealous Angel of death at the hospital where she works and Stone is definitely homeward bound.

Stone is still hopelessly in love with Steel who needs to pull his head out of his arse and finally claim his woman so he can start trying to make- up for all his past misdemeanours against her I think twenty years of penance should do it; what can I say I’m feeling slightly vindictive still. It was definitely a sense of mortality his own and Stones that made him finally man-up and embrace the inevitable just shame so much time was wasted in the process. When Stones life is on the line priority’s are swiftly altered and destinies realigned; Steel discovers what’s really important and that lesson is rammed home in spades.

Be aware this series does need to be read in order there are ongoing story arcs throughout the whole thing and each individual book has so much more than just the lead couple. Perspectives from various characters are intertwined into the narrative giving you such a big snapshot vital information and insight is shared into the internal dynamics and individual future story arcs. Even when the curtain falls one thing you can rely on is that it isn’t the end of the story you will definitely learn more throughout the series and I loved that about this. This series definitely has a very distinct style.

As usual, it’s well written it has plenty of action danger as well as heat and chemistry. I enjoyed this way more than I was originally expecting and it was an easy page-turner. Did I think Steel did enough to earn his redemption with Stone Personally I thought Stone should have given him way more trouble than she did and there definitely should have been more of a grovel on his part he got off a little too easily for my liking but I did like them as a couple and got to say I especially loved the sneaky move Stone pulled to oust the club bunny from the compound that was definitely pure gold. this is a fabulous MC series and I'm enjoying it a lot.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥 is the fourth installation of the 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗠𝗖 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 and is not stand-alone. The series follows the lives of the members of the 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗖 and their Old Ladies. This is a second chance love story.

This story is so heart wrenching. We’ve followed the story of Stone and Steel for some time now and have desperately been wanting these two to be together! I had no idea how heartbreaking and haunting this story would be. It was beautiful and bittersweet.

Stone has endured years of Steel’s cold shoulder and no idea why. Especially since everyone knows they’re perfect for each other. Stone is a hard-working doctor working in Manhattan. We get glimpses into the past and see how they got together and where it all went wrong. Stone is tough, smart and can handle herself in any situation. She does not take any crap from anyone. Serena’s heroines are usually strong. Stone grew up with the MC and they consider her family.

Steel has his reasons, an actual good reason to stay away from Stone. There are so many twists here, you just have to read Stone and Steel’s story for yourself. I adore this novel. This might be my favorite of the series so far. I was extremely gratified with the ending.

Here I am, about to give this 4 stars because Steel & Stone wasted their lives away when they could've healed each other earlier, and Serena goes ahead and pulls this big freaking twist on us. MY FREAKING HEART. I should've known something was going to happen since they were all too happy go lucky these days

Steel is my guy! In the Satan Sinners' MC, he's my favourite. So I was anxiously waiting for his story. And I wasn't going to let Serena Akeroyd half ass it. I wasn't sure if I liked Stone for him in the other books. So the task was big to convince me that she could make him happy FOREVER! And boy oh boy... YES! She will! And she CAN!

She is such a strong woman. An FMC like I love. Who doesn't take shit from anyone. Smart and articulate. And gives Steel a run for his money! He had some groveling to do. Because I have to admit he had been a bit of a cunt to her in the past. But hot damn! What a story. The plot twists, the struggles, the heart break but also the love and the friendships. And the brotherhood, of which Stone is a part of.

Oh and Spoiler :

And can I just say, if for some reason all the guys get tossed in jail, these Old Ladies will be able to pick things up and run this MC like no other!

I feel like a glouton when I read this series because I always want more. And I am sure you will too!

I am ]a huge fan of Serena Akeroyd and her Dark and Dirty Sinners' MC series and have been waiting for Stone and Steel's story. I knew these two had quite the history but wasn't prepared for the intensity and depth of their connection. I loved their bond and despite past betrayals and traumatic truths, I loved how intertwined and in-love they remained.

Overall, this story was fabulous. Stone and Steel's love story felt real and honest and was the forefront of this book. It was amazing to see the vulnerability that Steel showed in the face of Stone's injury and how much she meant to him. While Stone and Steel's romance is a standalone, there is an interconnected storyline that is prevalent from the previous books in the Dark and Dirty Sinners' MC series. Now after that crazy ending I can't wait for more from this author in the future! 4 stars! ~Ratula

description

It only took some life and death moments for these two to finally figure it out.

Steel and Stone's story has been brewing for a lot longer than I realized. While you knew from the past few books that there was something there, you could only speculate on what their deal was. Well, I can tell you, that's not at all what I envisioned. There back story is tough and full of heartbreak and devastation but the one thing that is clear is their love for each other. They are just too stubborn to see it for themselves.

There was a lot going on in this book. There was a lot of history we needed to understand, there is a lot going on with the club and all the trouble they have gotten into recently and there was a lot going on with Stone and Steel. And interestingly the stuff going on with the two of them had nothing to do with each other. Stone finds herself in the path of the Angel of Death and Steel finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. But what these two completely unrelated things do is make these two figure out what has been in front of them for a long time.

I have like Stone since she first appeared. She is strong and smart and doesn't take anyone's crap. This book shows that she is a fighter, through and through. Her will to live and continue to be a healer are strong and not even death's door is going to stop her. Steel has been that person who can't seem to get out of his own way. He has never dealt with his past and it is finally high time it hits him the face.

I have really enjoyed this series and have been able to read them pretty much back to back and now I have to wait for more. There are so many questions still and so many unresolved things going on. I can't wait for more from this group of rowdy sinners as I have become a big fan of this series. It's exactly how I like my books, dark and dirty, gritty and rough around the edges.

This is the fourth book in the Satan’s Sinner MC series. I have very much enjoyed the first three books in the series (Nyx, Link & Sin). Serena Akeroyd has created an epic universe with interwoven plots. (This novel had a recap at the beginning of the book to sum up a lot of the interconnections and refresh readers of the previous novels.)

This book focuses on Stone and Steel. Two headstrong people who have survived apart, mostly due to a truly evil act by Stone’s mother. I enjoyed that there path back to one another was not instant, but rather a hard one, particularly by Steel who had to prove to Stone that he was trustworthy.

One thing that this author has done in this series is provide POV chapters by ancillary characters, including character that were the focus of previous books. I very much enjoy this. It gives me a peek into characters who may have future novels dedicated to their stories, and it follows up on the ones from previous books. I can’t wait to get more of Maverick and Ghost, and now Rex and Rachel.

Well shit. I went into this thinking how great could Steel really be?!?! I mean I'm still hung up on Nyx and his piercings.

Nyx is bae but Steel can get it!!! His story was amazing and I loved Stone. She was a tough FMC but had a quality to her that made her down to earth. Neither of them deserved what happened but it made them into people that I loved.

Now let's talk about that ending because it blew me the fuck away!!! I'm looking forward to more stories in the Satan's Sinner's world.

Wow! Just wow! This book is so good, so passionate and intense, I'm having a hard time organizing my thoughts about it. Steel starts off so tragic. Heartbreaking really, as secrets tear his world apart, and part of the fall out lands on Stone. Stone is so strong, dedicated, smart, and independent. And after many twists and turns, that I won't spoil for you, Steel and Stone when they finally come together are fire! So hot, the chemistry between these two is strong to the point that it's almost overwhelming, in the best way. There's also beginning to be this really fun girl squad with the club's Old Ladies and I am here for it. The ending is sensational and will have me being for Cruz as soon as Serena can write it. It was an excellent installment! I just love those Sinners.

Steel is the 4th book in the Satan's Sinners series, and it is just as good as the previous novels!

Stone and Steel have been butting heads for a long time, something we have seen previously. They just need a kick in the butt to figure their stuff out. That kick is quite a doozy, interweaving a different villain into the story than we've seen before. This was a nice change, bringing more depth to the characters.

No worries, though, the big bad is still out there, and more progress is made on taking them down. We get to follow up with previous couples to see how they are dealing, and watch the girls create their own Old Lady relationships to each other.

I gotta say, I always look forward to more from this series, but I am stoked for book 5, even more so after reading Steel!

This book broke me. I really enjoyed the previous books in this MC but Stone and Steel have taken my heart. Stone didn’t have a chance. Her mother was just ugh!!!! Steel protected Stone until he couldn’t anymore. He needs her to have her space and decide what she needs. Stone didn’t want one thing: except Steel. Wonderful writing with a storyline that took my breath.

Well played

Buckle up buttercups and prepare for the rollercoaster to end all rollercoaster rides. The doo-doo really hits the fan in the 4th book of this series and it's a wild ride, not just for Steel and Stone.

Steel and Stone have been destined to be together since the beginning, but one fateful conversation blew that possibility to pieces for Steel and hardened Stone into the ball buster she becomes. Crossing an ocean would be easier than crossing the distance Steel put between them. He made me want to slap him repeated until he pulled his head out of his butt. However, coming to his senses isn't enough for Stone to just forgive him. Like the tough, independent and headstrong woman she is, Stone makes Steel work for it and he really man's up for her in the best ways possible. However, it's not just him who has fences to mend but the other brothers in the MC as well because Steel wasn't the only one to let her down, repeatedly. Fortunately for these men Stone is willing to risk her heart again and is happy to be coming home, but that doesn't mean things are easy for anyone. The chemistry between Steel and Stone never faded but trust is hard won and thankfully Steel is up for the challange. However, their love isn't the only battle wagging for the MC.

There are many twists, many moments you'll stop breathing as you read because you are wondering why Serena Akeroyd would do that to you. There is a recap at the start off the book to help remind you of the different links in this universe. The multiple POV is brilliantly done as always and still my favorite part of this series since we get to see more of past and future characters lives. While the men have their brotherhood, the Old Ladies are forming their own sisterhood in this book and they are ruthless! And that's just how we want them.

If you've been reading this series you won't be disappointed with this book. If you are wondering if you should read it let me tell you you need this in your life so go back and grab Nyx (book 1) and get started. If you want even more from this universe be sure to also grab the Filthy Feckers mafia series and All Sinner No Saint (a RH MC who are connected to the Filthy Feckers) because you'll see their connections with the Satan's Sinners and wonder if there is more about them 🤔🤔🤔 because they are that hot.

I binge read this series over the weekend, and I am just so obsessed!!! Each book just keeps getting better and better, and I have been looking forward to know what really happened between Steel and Stone and just exactly how they would be reunited, and I was NOT disappointed!!

These two have loved each other forever, and should have always been together, but one incident lead to Stone breaking both of their hearts. Finally after all the time, he's ready to do what he should have done all along and get his woman, but Stone isn't ready to just forgive and forget. She's had her heart broken by him him too many times, and never wanted to be the woman who just sits around and waits for the man to realize what was always right in front of him. This woman has so much strength and I am SO glad that she didn't make it easy on Steel. These two have a hard journey back to each other, full of pain, secrets, suspense ans truly jaw dropping moments! I loved how even though their love for each other was something so palpable, this was truly a slow burn with them really learning how to trust each other all over again. I definitely recommend not only this book, but the entire series!!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

Steel is a beyond incredible addition to the Dark and Dirty Sinners MC saga Serena is gifting us with. Steel and Stone are perfect matches to one another so they are the MC's version of star-crossed lovers. Their story was heart-wrenching, bawling my eyes out but at the same time, it was such a strong and beautiful flow. This couple has a deep history of secrets that I believe they earned their names. Their beginning was so sweet that I thought this was going to be an easy read between them, with the chaos happening as an enhancer. Welp, how wrong I was. I floated between wanting to beat their heads together so they hash things out and crying over the cruel hand life handed to them that caused so much time wasted. I loved how well-rounded this set of characters came to be. The flashbacks added to the rich depth of this story. The chaos thrown at both the couple as well as the MC kept me glued to my reader. I love how Serena keeps us updated on the other couples because this shows just how intertwined everyone is to each other, much like a true family. The ending though... This cliffhanger has totally messed with my head so now I will be chomping at the lead waiting for the next one.

I’d never read any of Serena’s books before I started this series & now I’m hooked. I will most certainly be checking out her other books.

I love this series. I love how dark it is. I love the characters. I love the MC. Basically she knocked it out of the park with this series.

Steel & Stone’s story was well worth the wait. Even if in previous books you wanted to bang their heads together. They went through so much to be together. Even if I didn’t totally forgive Steel at the end.

Another thing I adore about this series is we keep getting to touch base with a variety of characters. I love getting to read all these point of views.

So many more secrets unraveled. I want to know them all. That cliffhanger ending just about killed me. I kept tapping the page hoping for more!!! I need more of these badass guys & their badass women. You need these Sinners in your life.

I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.

If you have just entered the world of Book MC’s you HAVE to read the Sinners MC books by Serena Akeroyd. She has intrigued, entertained, humored, and brought me so much joy with the books in this collection. The characters are so bad but also sooooo good in EVERY other way! Steel is the perfect blend of goodness and bad boy! Harbored by a secret very few know... will it cost him the love of his life? Stone has been forced to move on with her life. But, can you really ever leave the life you were meant to lead? Catch up with alllll the amazing lovelies in the Sinners World!!!!!

This story is the 4th book in the MC collection (Nyx, Link and Sin) OMG I love this series it just goes from strength to strength.. the cliffhanger at the end is intense... I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

The connection between Stone and Steel is immense. They were ripped apart for 20 years after a shock revelation, Steel lived feeling like he would mar her, Stone had no idea why he suddenly turned cold. There are lots of twists and turns, ups and downs. I love reading the story unfold from multiple perspectives.

Thank you Serena for another awesome slice of MC life xx
