LILY
He’s rough.
He’s ready.
I’m neither.
I’m a sacrificial lamb just waiting to be slaughtered.
A socialite spawned by a sadist whose life’s work is to cause misery in others.
My life is a prison cell, until he helps me find the key.
He’s not as dark or as dirty as they say he is.
His roughness stirs something in me.
Something primal.
Something no socialite should crave.
He’s a brother in an MC, a world that should be alien to me but somehow, it’s my first real home. It has rules and regulations that make no sense to me, but one thing is clear:
Society princesses and MC brothers aren’t a match made in heaven.
But I’m fine with ruling over hell instead…
LINK is the second book in the eleven-book ‘A Dark & Dirty Sinners’ MC’ series.
It is not a standalone.

- Reviewed in Australia on 30 June 2021Verified PurchaseLink continues on from book 1 Nyx. Link is an MC and age gap trope with a Mafia storyline introduced.
Link is from The Sinner’s MC and Lily on the outside lives a wealthy life of privilege but her reality is far from that as she’s really a pawn in her father’s world but somehow Link and Lily meet and fall in love.
This is a dark story but a sweet, slow burn romance at the same time. The story is told in multiple characters points of view and I found that a bit confusing. I struggled as it introduced more new characters and after reading the author’s afterword I now know they’re crossovers from The Filthy Series which I’ve not read and it would’ve been good to get that information in the authors book blurb on Amazon as she suggests a completely different reading order.
This was a good read but not enough of Link and Lily and where their relationship was going but further books promise to give us more of Link and Lily.
- Reviewed in Australia on 20 June 2024Verified PurchaseLink was always one of my favourite Sinners. He is a man who has more depth than many would expect…while Lily is more than the China doll her father would have her be. Their connection surprises everyone, particularly them. Meanwhile, the MC is dealing with the fallout of book one in ways that will affect everyone. It’s a great story and I’m loving my reread.

- Reviewed in Australia on 13 March 2023Verified PurchaseThere was a lot more POV’s in this than just the two main characters which kind of spoilt it it bit for me. Don’t get me wrong I love all the characters but I like the books to be just theirs even if we see other things in the background happening with others. I just don’t need their pov. But I guess that’s just a me thing. The individual story arcs for Link and Lily where great and the story arc for the whole universe is getting pretty juicy.
- Reviewed in Australia on 25 March 2021Verified PurchaseHow the hell can you even begin to describe how amazing this series is?
The gamut of emotions you run through with Link and Lily - from laughter to tears, anger to joy, add in his goofy way of protecting those he loves, Link’s story is an extremely emotional read. Strength and resilience in a relatable world, bringing them all to life.
I love the Sinners world. The MC/Mafia/Mob scenario is perfect. The MC and side characters coming forward, making you fall further in love with them all, gradually opening the way for each brother’s story, make for an addictive read.
Trigger warnings are relevant and topics covered treated with respect and understanding. Beautifully written! No holds barred, this is a fantastic MC series.
- Reviewed in Australia on 22 November 2020Verified PurchaseIf you like well-written MC books with a great storyline then this one's for you. Start with the first book though as they're all connected.
- Reviewed in Australia on 16 March 2020Firstly, this is a second in a series and yes, it's super helpful if you've read the first one (Nyx). Whilst it's not as hot & xxxxxxx rated as Nyx (& yep, I'm still thinking about Nyx's hardware) this book is actually kinda sweet even though it's a MC book!
Link for all his kinks, actually really suits Lily and this is just the start of their relationship and I like it. I like it a lot.
I love all the other characters, it's a really well thought out series and the characters are all quirky yet heck, you want more!
Can't wait for the next & the next & the next!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, just wow!!
Verified PurchaseInitial review 31st October 2022.
Now girls let's be honest, we all need a Link in our lives and in our beds. If you've read this book, I know you're sat there nodding your head in agreement. If you haven't, I promise you, you'll soon be agreeing with me 😉😉
I think I most definitely fell in love with Link. He's a sweet and endearing, yet dangerous guy and the sort you want in your corner and not against you!!
There are some very bad triggers for people, so please read the warning at the very beginning of the book, before reading if you're susceptible to certain situations.
As a person who has been abused myself, it takes a lot to make me upset. But this book deals with some extremely deep and disturbing situations!! So just be fully aware!!
However, if you're ok to read this book trust me it's worth it!!I
Serena has dealt with the topics brought up in a very mature way and as delicately as she possibly could!! But the truth is, nothing is ever going to be delicate when dealing with these sorts of issues
It has a lot of heart breaking moments and I admit to crying on more than three or four occasions, but the harsh reality is, these things actually happen.
It takes a very brave and talented author to be able to write about these sorts of things, in a way that brings light and focus on the issues within!!
Then to gently coax the story through to a point of giving the women a chance of empowerment. By taking action against those who caused such grievous, horrendous and vile acts, visited upon these poor innocent victims!!! To allow them to stand tall in the face of pure evil!!
And in amongst all of that, another victim, Lily also standing up in the face of true evil. Someone to help facilitate the downfall of such a repugnant, monstrous thing!!
As well as for managing to find love right through it all, with a man who'll set the world on fire to keep her safe and away from the monster who has terrorised her on a regular basis!!
Lily found her own strength and then Link helped her gain more strength from him, as well as love, understanding, patience and so much more he offers her, all without her asking for it!!
If ever there is a book out there for anyone to read, this has got to be it!!

Updated review with audio 26th May 2023
Narrating this book is Rose Dioro and Teddy Hamilton. Teddy is one that has narrated in the past for Serena and it's easy to see why she'd have him narrating for her again.
He's got an easy and dare I say sexy voice, it's a!so one that's very recognisable when you hear it. He's great at making his voice change for each character and has an authentic way to lure you in.
Rose is a narrator I've come across a lot, and is another who has many differing levels to her voice, allowing you to recognise which character is speaking just by listening to her.
With them both, this makes for a great audio and helps bring each character to life, to enjoy the book in a entirely new way.
I already loved this book, when there was no audio. Now this book has gone from great to brilliant, and all down to the excellent choices of which narrators to have to bring the characters out from imagining what they'd sound like, to actually knowing and loving exactly as they sound. Exactly as I imagined!! Sexy, alluring and relatable.
So do yourselves a favour and buy both today and listen to the talents combined. From Serena to Rose and Teddy!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good
Verified PurchaseWhere the first book failed this book delivered. Likable main characters, with enough depth and emotions to feel connected to them and their connection to each other. Interesting plot and side characters. Even though this book had almost no spice the passion and love/care was evident between MCs (where in first book was lots of spice but almost no connection and passion IMO)

4.0 out of 5 stars Wow! dark and dirty indeed …
Verified PurchaseDO NOT READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE PREVIOUS STORY, AS IT CONTAINS SPOILERS.
LAST CHANCE ….
While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overarching theme.
Contains multiple subject matters that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy adult intimate scenes (dominance, submission, gratuitous scenes, restraints, MF, MFM, etc.) and violence such as kidnapping, abduction, torture, rape, murder, betrayal, drugs, human trafficking, drugs, as well as mental, physical, and sexual abuse, etc.
WARNING: contains themes associated with mental health that include suicide, attempted suicide, anxiety and depression.
The above descriptions somehow don’t seem sufficient, even though they are accurate. Lily the heroine of this story was abused, controlled in every way and raped by her father in a way to preserve her “virginity” for whatever arranged marriage he forced her into in the future, she was also forced to watch her brother (featured in the first story) commit heinous acts upon the maids. The same brother, bought and kept 4 women buried in a cellar, jailed in cages too small to lay down in, with minimal food or water, and acted out untold acts on them.
If these types of subjects offend or act as a trigger for you, then this is not the series or story for you.
However, if you like to see what could be considered bad men do whatever is necessary to protect children, women, or others not capable of defending themselves, then I can highly recommend this series. At the end of the day, it is about good overcoming evil.
There are multiple grammatical issues including typos, misspellings, incorrect word choice, missing and extra inserted words throughout. Fortunately none are difficult to interpret, so I didn’t feel the need to lower the rating. I am trying to mention these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, as errors interrupt the flow.
The world building is solid and brings the story to life in all of its gruesome, dark, gory, sadistic glory. Maybe this will be covered in a future addition to the series, but didn’t include a scene that I expected with Lily and Link, as in there are no intimate scenes between the two of them … none, zilch, which is just strange, even given her background and his ‘proclivities’ for bottom play.
Normally I include a high level overview of how the story begins, but I don’t think it is necessary with my warnings listed above. The story is an emotional one with a very dark theme, but I really enjoyed the multiple POVs and the journey for Lily and Link to their HFN.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great read
Verified PurchaseI loved Lily and Link and how their story evolved.
I am slightly perplexed at the ending, I assume their story carries on in the next book because it felt unfinished, and I’m not so sure there needs to be so many POV.
Overall a great read, I guess I’ll see if the next book expands more, or if there will be even more POV to add to the current ones.
The only reason I didn’t give 5stars was the ending, I really don’t think it was rounded up that well, luckily I’m reading on KU so it’s not an issue, but if I bought it in book form, I’d have been frustrated
