Graduating from college is bittersweet. I’ve accomplished my dreams, obtained my teaching degree, and am ready to find my dream job. However, I never realized how difficult or stressful it would be to find a position.

That’s why I jump at the chance to visit Chad, one of my best friends, on base in California.

    I loved it! Chad and Faith were so cute together and like the first book this one was more emotional than I was expecting too but also just so sweet! There was some frustrating moments when they still weren’t admitting their feelings but it just made their happy ending sweeter! Was such a great read!! 🥰

    This second book in the Never Too Far series, takes us to a California army base, and for soldier, Chad Anthony, eventually on to the seering desert in the middle east.
    It's another military romance, of friends, family and learning to love long distance.

    In Book #1, Chad and Faith recognised a special bond, but decided not to get intimate, beyond kisses and cuddles. Both would like more, but don't think it's the right time for it.
    While Faith was graduating with a teaching degree and a dream of working with kindergarten kids, Chad had signed on for four more years army service.
    Chad gets the call to make a move, and finds himself in California, with a promotion and short notice to ship out to a war zone.
    There's nothing like an impending future with an uncertain outcome, to concentrate the mind and the heart's longing. So Chad begs Faith to come out to California, and she agrees. Once there, they make an impulsive decision, that will change their whole lives.

    Another AMAZING book by this TOP FAVE Duo!!! Beneath the Desert Sun is the second book in Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black's Never Too Far series, focusing on Faith and Chad. We meet them in book one, Beneath the Fallen Stars. Let me say that Ms Ryan and Ms Black did NOT disappoint! This one is a friends-to-lovers, marriage of convenience romance that BLEW ME AWAY! It is filled to the brim with so much emotion, heat and heart! I could NOT put it down!

    The incredible connection between Faith and Chad LEAPT off the page. When Faith finishes her college courses, she moves in with her brother Ford and his fiancée while looking for a job as a kindergarten teacher. Things aren't going as well as she'd hoped and when Chad suggests she visit him in California for a couple of weeks, Faith (who has secretly fallen in love with her best friend) jumps at the chance! This is the trip that changed their lives forever!

    Faith and Chad's story was an emotional roller coaster ride with a few twists and turns and I loved every single minute of it!!! This series is shaping up to be one of my FAVES!!!! I can't wait for the next book!

    Chad has my heart!!! I loved these two in Ford's book but nothing prepared me for everything these two would put me through. The love these two have for each other which is built on a strong friendship is everything. These two are perfect together and i love how we are along for the ride of them moving their relationship into more. I loved the letters so much and they just made everything so special as you feel your part of the story. I didn't want the story to end and just wanted more of them. Kaylee and Lacey just bring magic to the page and i love everything these two write as they really know how to craft a story which made you feel you are experiencing with the characters. Loved it!!
