    This was my second Trilina read and absolutely not my last. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!!
    The only reason it’s not a 5 star for me personally is because I felt the feelings seemed a teeny bit rushed to begin with, and I would have liked it to be a little more drawn out, but that’s just me!
    Overall this was a great book, and I absolutely loved the dynamic between Drew and King; I definitely have a thing for fictional, morally grey men!

    This book is so deliciously dark and tantalizing. This is the first book in a series about the 7 deadly sins, Truth is about the sin 'Lust'. I just know that every book in the series is going to knock my socks off and I just really loved the way this story went.

    King is such a formidable character. He inspires fear within people just by a look. He has a past that has made it this way. He is possessive, passionate and is actually such a sweetheart of a man once you get past his walls. I just love King!!

    Drew is so sassy. I really like how she took her life back and didn't let anyone dictate her. She is strong, she is driven and she gets what she wants through hard work. She makes a perfect heroine for our hero King.

    King and Drew are made for each other, you could feel it through the writing. Their scenes are scorching, and packed full of excitement. King was so sweet towards Drew that I had a smile on my face during many of the scenes. His words made my heart soar.

    I liked the other characters within the book and I can not wait to find out more about them, well I am hoping we will hear more about them. I am rooting for a Luca book! And maybe even a Dante! Truth flowed well and I could not put it down. I was captivated by the writing. I loved every second and didn't want it to end. So here I wait patiently for the next sin. I am so ready!

    This book is based on one of the seven deadly sins, ‘Lust’.... but there is absolutely so much more in the pages of this book that you need to read about. Lust, is only the tip of the iceberg of this story.

    Dominic King is an absolute beast! Loyal, dangerous, protective... the hero who wants nothing but your truth. He has my vote for one of the best characters ever written. Drew is just simply a badass. Their story is thrilling. It’s raw and refreshing. This is so well-written.

    The supporting characters are amazing! You need more of them. Their teasing. Their being savages. Their support. Their loyalty.

    I can’t wait for the next one up!!! So ONE-CLICK this. I loved it and I’m sure you will too.

    - Instant Love "Meant to be"

    This story starts with Drew meeting a mysterious Nick in a bar. They hit it off automatically & come quite close quickly, resulting in a fast moving relationship. We then jump a year later & Nick is controlling, emotional gaslighting and Drew needs a quick out.

    On a wild weekend out, Drew decides to attend a s*x club called Church. This is where she meets a handsome stranger who goes by the name "King". They have a wild 24 hours together, where they find they don't just have a physical connection but an emotional one as well. But Drew freaks out after her last relationship trauma, and leaves King suddenly alone.

    We then fast forward to Drew determined to get King back. She learns his name is in fact Dominic King and he is a part of a well down mafia clan in Chicago. But that doesn't stop her from wanting & needing him. She may have to beg for his forgiveness, but she will do anything to prove she won't run from him again.

    As Dominic starts to let Drew in his heart & his world, she learns more about his past with his family mafia and how he is trying his best to step away. She supports him and accepts his past, but sometimes - The past can't stay in the past. Especially when it involves enemies.

    3.5/5 stars with 3/5 steam.

    This was an easy listen on audible. I did need more emotional build up with Dominic & Drew though. I also needed more mafia drama. I felt like we needed less smut & more action, thus why I can't give it more than 3.5. Either way, I am keen to keep reading this series with the next book about Luca - Dominic's twin brother and Drew's bestie.

    I listened to the audio version of this book (and loved his gravelly voice). It was a slow start with Drew's relationship to another guy and I almost gave up listening. So glad I didn't because the story took off when Drew met King. What an awesome 24 hours they spent together that changed their lifes forever. Such a beautiful love story. Love it!

    This is my HEA book I could read this book over and over again it really is a beautiful love story with angst and violence and its very steamy too. Drew is a great character successful in her professional life but her personal life is not so good she meets King instant connection for both of them, you have to read the book to find out what happens you won’t regret it

    I really need to find some new synonyms, but I devoured this book. All sense of time and place evaporated as I was transported within the pages of Drew and Dominic’s story. It consumed me. I didn’t know where to look on occasion and felt the want to apologise *sings* Awk-ward *snorts*

    Told in dual POV, we get to experience all the highs and lows that goes with this story. You know what’s coming, don’t you? *points finger* Yup, you’ve guessed it - I laughed, cried, swooned, had more hot-flashes than I could count, and to top it all off, swore like a trooper *hangs head* What can I say? Potty mouth, thy name is Laura *giggles*

    One final (cryptic) thought - I have never wanted to go to church so much in my life *winks*

    My truth is simple - this story left me breathless.

    Truth by Trilina Pucci, the first in her Sinful series, and my first read by this author and loved it! I was riveted from the start and stayed that way all the way to the end. This story was steamy and erotic and full of crazy chemistry.

    Drew Matthews has worked very hard to be where she is today in her career. But her personal life has been lacking. She left a bad relationship that left her in a bad place and not ready to start anything new. Dominic King worked hard to build his empire and his favorite, Church, a sex club, is where he first Drew. Their attraction is immediate and their chemistry off the charts. They spend one night living out their fantasy and though they both know what is between them is so much more, choices are made that may tear them apart.

    Truth by Trilina Pucci was a great read and I look forward to reading so much more from both the author and this series. The story was so freaking steamy and with strong characters. Dominic was sexy, strong and very determined. Drew, as the story progressed, was feisty and just as strong.
