    This is the second book I have read in this series. I love Mia and Teddys story. They are poles apart in their own life stories but come together. Mia is trying to bring Teddy out of his shell and talk about what happened to him. Mia has her own story to tell as well. Lovely story.

    Once again we are in Oakside a place that ex military try to get over the both physical and mental wounds that they have from their service and while each book can be read as a stand alone I would recommend reading them all in order as past characters star in later books in the series

    This is Teddy and Mia's story He is the only survivor of a bomb blast that took out his friends and brothers and he cannot get over the survivors guilt add in the fact that Brian one of his brothers killed has ;left him is family fortune and it is all to much for him to handle mentally. Mia has decided to volunteer at Oakside while visiting her friends Owen & Ellie(they had their own story) and she knows that Teddy needs a lot of help Can she help him or is she to damaged herself Can they find a way to be together and live a life for the ones they have lost You will have to read to see

    I was given a copy of this book but this is a true and honest review

    Great love story. Teddy didn’t want to talk didn’t think he needed to talk about why he was at Oakside. Mia who was volunteering took an instant liking to Teddy but would Teddy heal mentally? I loved the story. Loved to see the characters from previous books and see where their lives are going. Great series, can’t wait to read the next book. Highly recommend it!

    This book was an incredible read just like the previous books. Teddy struggles with surviors guilt since he was the only survivor. His best friend and his brother in arms that died that day left him a huge responsibility. He just keeps himself and dwells in the depths of his darkness. Mia is volunteering at Oakside for a few months while her best friend and boss are off traveling the world. Mia knows what survivors guilt is and knows that she lived for a reason. Mia has decided to live for this moment and the next versus the darkness consuming her. If you love a great romance book and military Romance as well then this book is for you.

    A Will that leaves Teddy with a lot of issues and survivors guilt is one of them. Not wanting to face any of his issues, things began to take a turn when sassy Mia tells him all about her guilt over a car crash. Another good story told well, but it feels a little repetitive.
