    I haven’t read a vampire book in awhile and can I say this one is amazing I just so enjoyed it Quincey was a delight she took no prisoners what a great character and then there’s Silas the brooding vampire tall dark and fangy been through so much in his many years wants to keep Q safe but bad things happen. Next book please

    Holy hotness, this book was explosive! I love the characters, the writing was enticing and the plot was intense! Bloody Kingdom explores the relationship between a fierce and independent FMC and her kidnapper, a brooding and brutal vampire king. I really loved the relationships present through the tale, not just romantically speaking but the friendships too. I also enjoyed the hidden threat that slyly sneaks up on the reader throughout the book, and the groundbreaking impact when it hits in full force. Overall, this scorching paranormal romance will leave readers glued to the page.

    This story was so addictive from the first page. I just happened to stumble upon this author from a reading challenge before, and ever since I have been slowly making my way through her books. I haven't read a PNR book like the ones she has in a long time. She has an amazing ability to build these supernatural world's with characters you become completely invested in time after time again. This book was completely addictive and the characters are complex and in-depth, so it makes the storyline so much more intense.

    Silas is a character who is perceived as ruthless and the king of New Orleans and everyone follows his laws for the most part fearing his wrath. We watch as he slowly allows himself to let his guard down with Quincey. You see how he's intrigued by her and how she never lets him push her away at times. This push and pull angst they have is undeniable chemistry that just grows more. I loved Silas the more the story progresses you see what he has lived through and how every moment of his life is calculated so to keep his secrets and everyone at arms reach. His love for Quincey knows no bounds as he finally accepts he wants her for as long as he can have her.

    Quincey was one of the best female characters with her heart of gold and get feisty personality. This character had a tremendous ability to make you look for the hope of lightness from the bad or darkness she found herself in at times. I loved how she pushed Silas to his breaking points and how she knew she should fear him but she wanted more from him though. Their chemistry was off the charts hot and the connection they felt for one another was insane at times.

    The world and characters are well built and complex with a griping storyline that makes you devour each page till the epic cliffhanger that awaits. I was o pins and needles with the ending of book one and can't wait to start book two now. If you wanting a mysterious world of unknown darkness that surrounds the unsuspecting people of New Orleans grab this book and be prepared to lose yourself in this intense, griping, and dark paranormal world. Definitely must read and wish I could give more than five stars. This author is nexus fast one click for me because her stories are so consuming that I will pretty incurred anything her name is attached to.

They are a sunny/grumpy pairing which starts off as the two stuck with each other for different reasons for a contract period of time. I felt the pacing was good and an easy read. Looking forward to the second book.
