    I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was funny but complicated. So many layers to unwrap for the various characters. Not just the leading ones. I loved Theo because although so good looking and sexy, he came with a big old bag of insecurities because of how people had perceived him to be all his life. He’d been judged and deemed trouble. If anything went wrong, he was the easy target to blame. At his core though, he was a kind, caring, compassionate, cat lover who would do anything for his sister.
    Delaney was the woman he’d always liked, but he knew she saw him as nothing but trouble, partially due to his treatment of her in school, but because her parents had always judged him. They judged her too and despite what looked like a perfect life for her, she was under a lot of pressure to always be perfect. To choose wisely with relationships and take over the family business one day.
    As the story progresses we get a better insight into the various characters. Truths are revealed. Secrets come out and everything starts unravelling.
    A great read and I’m so happy that there are more books because I want to know what the future holds in store for the other BFF’s.

    This was a fun enemies to lovers romance set around a wedding. It's Theo's sister and Laney's bestfriends wedding to her longtime boyfriend who has a tiff with Theo. I liked the way Laney & Theo were entirely opposites but somehow they just completed each other. He taught her to enjoy her life while she bought the much needed stability and discipline in his life. While the concept was fun you need to let go off logic if you really want to enjoy this story because there were so many things that did not make sense. The entire plot was a mess but it was definitely entertaining. There were so many funny moments and the side characters were well utilised. Overall I enjoyed reading the book but I felt like it was just too long.

    I won’t recap the story, so that spoiler alerts don’t slip out. I just wanted to say that this story, pulls you right along with the characters and the various situations they found themselves facing. A very well written story, with a quick pace, that takes you through the gamut of emotions. I giggled, laughed out loud, held may breath, and then basically cried through the last 2-3 chapters and epilogue. Without much thought, I’m positive you will be able to relate to the characters, be able to say to yourself that sounds just like…..

    What I liked were the two main characters who were well developed and had depth.

    What was quite a stretch in terms of suspension of disbelief was the setting. A run down resort with employees jumping ship at top speed and a whole wedding party who doesn’t blink an eye that there is no restaurant, no service and the whole area falls apart. And the heroes save it all. Really?
