    "The brutal truth is that if she's meant to be our destruction, I want her to wreck me."

    This book picks up exactly where the first left off. Daisy unceremoniously being THROWN out the window by a faculty member and Bryce showing up just in time to save her. The reader was left with so many questions: we didn't know how the magic might affect Daisy long term or how it might impact the school as a whole that Bryce saved a "norm" instead of letting her perish. Well we get those answers and more in book 2. That's how the book begins and it doesn't let off the gas pedal even at the very end.

    I flew through this book. I finished it in one afternoon, curled up and flying over the pages needing to know what happens next. This book is such a great building block for the series as a whole. I'm not sure how many books are planned but I really hope it's more than three.

    "We have unfinished business, Daisy."

    The boys of this series are still at times hot and cold, but that's part of the fun to see where they land. You do learn more about each of them as well as their motivations for past actions. I love them all to be honest.

    My only complaint is the Ball near the end of the book, I would have loved for that entire scene to be longer before things ... happen (you'll have to read to know whether it was good or bad things lol)

    Read this series, enjoy, but if you're smart you'll wait until all the books are released to save your self some agony. Happy Reading!

    So here's where we are, Daisy was almost drown by Drusilla's cohort Cherise while held by Drusilla's powers. This results in a broken arm for Toby and Daisy being thrown out the window by a teacher. She is saved by Bryce as he discovers his healing powers. This will have more interesting consequences.

    Bryce's abduction and subsequent release opens up more questions because of the devices used to keep him captive.

    Then there's the new information he discovers about Daisy's parentage. Bryce and Daisy sleep together in spite of or because of the circumstances. This causes some interesting reactions from the other guys.

    After a run Daisy finds their treehouse and Rufio, this leads to some sizzle as Daisy can't seem to deny him. But then she passes out with fever. While watching over her Bryce finds her father's diary and when she wakes he tells her she should leave immediately.

    The circumstances surrounding their search become weird and they don't find her, although I was sure Phoenix saw her. There's a change in Daisy but nothing is really clear.

    All the guys start getting closer to Daisy and an attack on her best friend Felicity leads to some very interesting revelations.

    We also learn a lot more about Phoenix in this one and there's also the friendship between Toby and Daisy's sister Rosie.

    Lots of action, suspense and surprises as Daisy navigates not only the Academy but also the relationships she's formed with the guys.

    I have already started reading the next book in this series.

    OK so overall this was an amazing book and I'm glad I Purchased it. The character development was very detailed and there was a lot of mystery and angst throughout the first two novels that I LOVEDDDD.

    The only thing that I did not like was how wishy-washy the heroine was. It didn't affect the plot line that much sO it wasn't that big an issue but it still bothered me. One moment she's a rebel bad ass defending herself and then the next she forgives one of the characters after he totally demolished her and was SO FREAKING RUDE to her for three straight chapters. I dont know it just didn't sit well with me how she had 2 polar opposite sides, but that is my only complaint!

    All in all it's a good book but I wish the heroine would have been written better.

    The plottwist are so obvious but it so entertaining I need to keep reading. I qas so freaking mad the characters took so much time unearthing Daisy's mystery. It was so painfully obvious. Still I love everything about it. My heat hurts so much for Phoenix. That's was so hard ro read. But I'm really happy with the ending.
